1861  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: June 12, 2022, 01:03:44 PM
The problem is that rich people control the politicians with their money and many lobbyist.

Who are the rich? The rich are the politicians and the politicians are the rich. So it is better to say that the politicians control the masses with their ill gotten money. I don't know about your country and where you are posting from. But in my country, Covid-19 made the poor poorer and made the rich richer.

The rich politicians had to lock the masses indoors without provision for food. When you sneak out to the street to see if you can get bread for your dying family, the government will arrest you and take you to quarantine centre in order to increase the number of Covid-19 patients. The people in the centre are well and healthy, but they needed the numbers to increase in order to recieve billions in their account for Covid-19 welfare.

They used schools and churches as quarantine centres so that they will not spend much. Such a period was supposed to be a time to pay attention to our depleted hospitals, but they won't renovate the hospitals so that common man will not benefit after Covid-19.

There was donation of foods from the federal government, but the state governors hoarded them in a warehouse so that we could all die of hunger and maybe after the Covid-19 they will start up supermarkets with the food items.
They are wicked. But they will not prevail for ever. If we could get $40 per week, one day we could get $100 per week and to $500 and soon we will not care about the wickedness of the government.  Then will the poor begin to help the poor.

Our parents go vote APC nd PDP bcoz of Moni and the youth go vote for a gud candidate. APC nd PDP get di Moni 2 spend. I no sure say Obi go fit stand with them 4 Moni contest.
Agbe, I no understand this one you just dey accuse our parents like this? How do you mean that our parents go vote APC and PDP because of money. The population of youth and the parents which one big pass?
Infact how many parents dey even come out come vote for polling unit. Sew for my side ba youths dey run the whole shits because parents dey believe say dem go shoot gun for polling unit.

Make I ask you again, na parents or youths dey hijack the ballot boxes?
Abeg forget our parents, make we face the matter by ourselves.

If lingard and mata are to leave Manchester United it will be nice because I don't see any effort they put in Manchester United,  Manchester United don't really need some of their present players in the team, it will be nice if Paul Pogba to continue with Manchester United for next season,  Paul Pogba is a talented player that deserves to be in Manchester United.

I am so much offended by your post. I doubt if you are a Manchester United fan because what you said about Mata is wrong. You can say anything about Lingard and I will over look it but not against Mata.
Keeping Mata on the bench is the greatest mistake Manchester United made, all thr coaches made same mistakes and Mata proved them all wrong when he was giving a little play time before the end of the season.
Mata is a very good loyalist of the club who does not complain.

Same cannot be said about Pogba, I doubt if you are not the only one that wants Pogba to stay back in Manchester United. Pogba's soul has left the club and the club fans has left Pogba. He should return to his acclaimed home - Juventus.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: June 11, 2022, 11:13:31 PM
The premier league title race next season looks like it is going to be tougher than we thought in terms of the number of teams that will actually compete for the title, at the end of last season pundits were already making conclusions that it is going to be a two horse race between Liverpool and City yet again next season, while it looks very possible to happen, i wouldn't be completely sure about it.

I so much align with you that next season will be tougher than this season. If you see the readiness of many clubs, how they performed last season and the kind of signings they are doing, you will understand that next season will be so competitive. We will still have Manchester City and Liverpool fc as the top contenders as usual, but one strange thing that may happen is that, Manchester United might not find their way back to the top 4 and some big clubs might also slide out of the top 4.
Teams are prepared, players are made and coaches are ready. The battle will be tough and entertaining.
1865  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A Little way to find Good campaigns on: June 11, 2022, 10:51:15 PM
I don't think that stalking campaign managers in order to find campaigns is good idea.I see this topic more like merit hunting attempt. I don't really know why  to make things complicated? Wouldn't be easier just to check Service board on regular basis to check for active campaigns.
Or probably best to use Telegram bot and you won't have to do thing manually. You simply will get notification to your Telegram app.

My thought here. Having to stalk every campaign manager in order to see when campaigns are launched or opened to me isn't the best to do. Besides some of these managers are also bounty managers and anyone not interested in bounty will keep seeing the bounty updates.
Some of the managers are wearing signature and completing post quotas which will make their timeline like other users.

What I did was to place the service board on watch, by this I get notified when any new post comes to the service board. But after I joined a long campaign, I unwatched the board.
1866  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Questions about signature campaign and its rules. on: June 11, 2022, 10:40:11 PM
Thank you everyone that contributed and answered my questions. Especially yahoo62278 for answering base on your managerial experience. Also Welsh, for making me know the real concept of signature campaign.
I must confession I learnt alot from this thread.

Thanks to Little Mouse for letting me know that this is the appropriate board for this post. I have not posted here before.
Thanks to the moderator that moved the topic to this board.
1867  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: June 11, 2022, 10:32:40 PM
Politics no be here oo, this we country tire man but anyhow e be make we try our best to carry we legs go enter were we go do PVC make we vote out bad governance.
Guys how far, with the 2023 elections already on us and we already know the front runners, Peter Obi (LP) Tinubu (APC) Atiku (PDP) this are not the only candidate but them be the three major candidates we have now, so guys we don see how the present administration done treat crypto-currency and really e no bam at all, so now for us Crypto-currency enthusiast which of these guys do we think wey fit put interest for crypto-currency, these men aren’t youth so that criteria is aside, but my honest opinion now with education, business knowledge and other qualities I think amongst the three Peter Obi is most likely the one.

Some politicians wey their money too long no dey like make other people see road so that dem no go fit compete with them for anything. Those kind leaders go fear to give crypto free hands. Dem believe say if youth see raod, dem no go fit influence dem with money again. Person like Atiku and Tinubu no go give crypto free hands like that. But Peter go give free hands because na welfare of the people wey him want and not his personal gain.
But if people organise summit give Atiku, tell am reasons to allow crypto him fit listen because him dey claim economic and business man. But you see Tinubu, I no sure atol.
1868  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: June 10, 2022, 07:59:05 PM
So i would like to know what the standard of living is like in your country now compared to five years ago. Was there any sharp difference in the standard of living pre pandemic and now. If there is a great fall in the standard of living in your country, have there been any move by the government and employers of labor to alleviate the sufferings of people. People who live in Ukraine, if you don't mind, i think a lot of people would want to know what it is like there too since the war began.

In my country there is sharp increase in the standard of living and it is very difficult to live in my country with little money because the cost of goods and services have increased upto x3 of what it used to be before now.
There are two major reasons the standard of living increased so much, they are.
1. Because of recession: My country faced two times recession in the time under review and that worsened the whole situation.
2. Because of Covid-19:
In my country, any price that goes up doesn't return back anymore. This also includes services. For instance, before Covid-19. Transportation from Port Harcourt city to Calabar city was N1,500. But when covid 19 started, the passenger seat that carries 4 persons, began to carry 2 persons because of social distancing. So the two persons were made to pay N3,000 each to augment for the other vacant two. But when Covid-19 ended, the company started carrying 4 passengers again but didn't revert back to N1,500. Nobody protested till now.
Most times it's not about government but also the people.

Me too na victim of scam but I don learn something and wetin I learn I wan share with una here;
  • No invest on wetin you no know or wetin you no fit control. E get why

The more we begin to realise these things, the better for us.
1870  Economy / Service Discussion / Questions about signature campaign and its rules. on: June 10, 2022, 07:17:03 PM
Since my coming to this forum, I have joined 3 campaigns in this order; Gamdom managed by yahoo62278, Duelbits and Roobet managed by Hhampuz. I have seen that there are different rules of campaigns according to different managers. Then I have these questions to ask, who knows, the answers might be helpful to many who may become campaign managers in the future.

Question One
Who decides the amount to pay participants according to ranks?
The company or the manager. Because some campaigns pay a certain rank higher and some pay same rank lower even if they have almost same budget.

Question Two
Who decides the ranks to hire,  and why such decisions?
I ask because I have seen managers like yahoo62278 and Royse777 hire member ranks. Could  the reason for the decision be to encourage low rank members or they discovered that low rank members have more zeal to work.

Question Three
How do the companies that launch campaigns here make money? Is there any kind of SEO embedded in the signature that indexes their sites in search engines?

Question Four
Having 10 quality posters making a total of 100 quality posts a week and having 20 shit posters making 500 shit posts per week, which one produces more result for the company.

I ask because I have seen company like Fortunejack paying members $100 to make 20 posts, ChipMixer paying members $300 to make 50 posts. But a company like Stake.com will have to make a user post like 80 to 90 posts to get $100. (I do not mean that stake members posts shits). Just to buttress my question.

Question Five
Some managers do not require number of merits earned in applying in their campaign while many require.
Is merit no longer the measure for quality?

Question six
Is it a crime in the forum that after applying for a campaign, the user sends the campaign manager pm to give the manager more reasons to hire him. Which he cannot do in the application thread in order not to destruct the application process.

Question seven
Post Bursting!
If user A makes 3 posts per day for 7 days, that will be 21 posts. User B makes 10 posts per day for the last 3 days of the week, making it 30 posts. Who among them is beneficial to the company they promote and why?

Question eight
Is there a rule that says a user must wait for such amount of time after making a post in order to make another. If yes, why?

Question nine
Are there boards that gives more result to companies and are there boards that doesn't give results at all.
I ask because;
Best_Change doest like posts in gambling.
Yahoo62278 doesn't like posts in Beginners and Help board.
Some campaigns don't want posts in local board.
Some doesn't like Altcoin boards.
Some doesn't accept Politics and society.
Why this discrepancy?

I wasn't sure of the board to post this, but I believed it's forum related and as such Meta fits better.

Thanks all!

1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 08, 2022, 10:35:22 PM
Real Madrid is a team you always have to keep in mind in the Champions League. They can occasionally have a lesser period, that team individually has so much quality that a match is completely turned around in a few minutes. We have seen that several times. Especially against Real Madrid it was almost unreal how they did that. If Benzema hadn't been on this team, they wouldn't have become champions. He has been very important. I hope for Real that he stays at Madrid.
Almost every Champions League season we always see this team competing even during the Champions League season in the fight for the title Real Madrid has always been a subscriber to 17 finals won by winning 14 trophies to date and became the most teams to win the Champions League when they beat Liverpool in that match and the Final match Benzema played so beautifully that he was able to win this title.
It is when matches are concluded that people begin to understand how football works. That is why so many of us lose bets in soccer. Football is not a rocket science and people that understands it have rest of mind.
Football is nothing without history, undermine history at your own peril when it comes to football.
Everyone knows the history of Real Madrid and Champions league finals and yet we chose to ignore it.
We saw how Benzema was eliminating great contenders like PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City with hatrick and brace, yet we chose to overlook it.
It was after the finals we began to realise ourselves
1873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The most unique topic you found on the bitcointalk forum? on: June 08, 2022, 10:22:47 PM
I like to read different topics on bitcointalk, but there is a topic that amazes me till date. That topic makes me think about many things such as;
  • How committed some users are to the forum
  • How long a user can nurse a topic idea and accomplish it, maybe years.
  • Do people recieve extra pay for some efforts in this forum

Ratimov  Beginners and Help Encyclopedia is very effective, educative and documentary. When touring the topic, you will feel as if you are in a separate board in the forum and not a thread.

For this concluded APC primary election, I no vex for anybody, na Buhari wey chicken out I dey vex for. Buhari just suffer Nigerians finish still get mind allow Tinubu enter, base on say Tinubu make some statements (though obvious).

Una too dey underestimate Tinubu na our problem for Nigeria be dat.
Tinubu na the deadliest active politician in Nigeria now, we know that. If you do APC primary election 30 times, Tinubu go win 30 times and also if you do PDP primary again 30 times, Atiku go win again 30 times.
But, we relied so much on Buhari to intervene because na only him suppose intervene, but the old man disappoint full time. Maybe him done reason say na brothers, make dem settle their scores.

Well, make una ready to welcome Tinubu as una next president, because he will flop Atiku full time. As dem no fit stop him for primary, nobody fit stop him again. Unless na death go visit him.

That man no dey fall election, na him history be that and anybody him support na so. Him sef get structure for North.  2014 during APC first primary election, na Tinubu flop Atiku, carry all the delegates put for Buhari back.
1875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Nearly Bailed Me Out on: June 08, 2022, 09:41:03 PM
Quite a risky approach to screenshot your seed phrase but good thing that the BTC wallet came through for you when you needed it the most.
risky or not depends on how to save the screenshot. Although saving in a text file will also be dangerous if you are not careful in saving the file. I even have a lot of screenshots and it's still safe as long as the security of the device is under my control.
I have several BTC wallets, some of which still have BTC and some even forgot the key.

I believe one thing but what I am reading is making me doubt what I have believed.
When we speak about hacking or stealing anything like seed phrase that is screenshoted.
I have a question, does hackers go on searching everyone's phone to see screenshot that has seed phrase?
I think there should be some signs of bitcoin that will attract hackers.
What I mean in essence is that how will a hacker understand that he saved his seed phrase in screenshot before thinking about how to hack it?
1876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounties and Airdrops on: June 08, 2022, 09:31:16 PM
...I really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance

I understand that the main reason for participating in bounties and airdrops is the lack of initial capital for trading and investment. But even this should not be the reason that you will waste your time on this useless activity. Focus your efforts on the execution of testnet tasks, this is exactly what will allow you to get a good profit in the future.
It is always the reason some people involve in bounty hunting. But some users have seen it as a way of life, even after raising some capital for trading and investment, theh keep doing the hunting. It can be said that it is their major source of income.
While some novice like me in that area might think nothing good comes easily from.there, it is well to note that those that have been there for long time must have mastered how to make big gains with little efforts.
If the bounty does not worth it, why do we have more and more people tripping in there?

Hi my name is Roma, i am new here. I cant found were is information about this forum , i want to know what is price to open a thread with a new product and where i can do it.
Also i want to know how many threads i can post per day/week
Welcome Roma, I have always thought Roma is a name of a city, today I know it can be humans name.
To add to what others have said, from the pattern of your question, one can easily say where you are going to. If you want to sell products in this forum you have to.
1. Visit the Economy sub board where we have goods https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0.
2. Read the guidelines before doing business and don't trust people easily. Look at their trust ratings before you do business.

There is no money required to raise a topic and there is no limit for what you can post, except for seconds downtime between posts because of your rank. Meanwhile, post only to your ability, the forum frowns at spamming and plagiarism.

Buhari na fear fear man, and him dey indebted to many people way work for him, na one of the reasons him play neutral.
As e don suffer us finish, atleast him for carry ticket give younger person. You no fit cheat nature. Tinubu no fit cheat nature. Him no fit climb podium, him hand de shake. Which kind trouble Nigerian enter so?

Why Buhari no talk early enough say him no go side any body so that men no go waste money buy form. Because if you put all the aspirants together, dem no fit beat Jagaban, na Buhari we dey carry hope. But finally the old man play neutral.  I sorry for my country.
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 05, 2022, 06:39:02 PM
Liverpool may perform better next season the problem with Liverpool is that the club don't strikers that will make goal scores and if the can sign players like Ronaldo to make the goal difference.
I think so too, they will be better or at least stable next season. We know that Klopp has made this team appear so consistent and that it becomes capital for them to look forward to the next season. On the other hand, if you say Liverpool need a striker who can break the deadlock I think that's also true even though with the current squad they can do that, but adding ammunition also has to be done.
The pattern of Liverpool football is almost sane pattern with Manchester City and the pattern is that they don't depend on the central number 9 to score goals. That has cost Guardiola champions league finals and has also caused Liverpool champions final.
Now that Manchester City is about to make changes by signing Haaland, I expect Liverpool to also make some moves and get a central forward even now that Mane wants to leave.
It will then be Diaz, central striker, Salah

I had a brief sports argument with my guys. What we actually argued about was the squad of England National Team.

The first argument was;
Among Alexander Arnold, James and Walker who will play England side two. I tipped Arnold but my friends were saying Walker because he won champions league. Does it work like that?
Even at that Arnold won FA cup.

Second argument was;
Will Harry Maguire make England first team this time around?
