1881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: April 29, 2017, 12:55:10 PM
Bitcoin is anonymous crypto currency, but it is not so easy to use as real money.
I don’t agree with you that bitcoin is an anonymous currency and easiest way of paying and get paid. It’s a digital currency and you can easily transfer, receive and shop through like fiats yet with more conveniences. I can easily top-up my cellular phone through bitcoin in my area as well as shop many goods.

Honestly I am not finding any big differences between bitcoin and real money in my day to day life.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is YoBit.net provably fair ? on: April 29, 2017, 09:38:29 AM
And why so many players there.
what i see is simple design from year 1990.
what so special that 2 Millions players go there  every month ?

maybe yobit.net is provably fair so this is make people like to playing gambling in their site. actually i don't know about gambling games in yobit.net too much because i just only doing trading in that sites and sometimes i take free coins from them. maybe later i will trying to playing gambling in yobit.net and see how my luck will work or not.

AFAIK yobit is an exchanger but when they build another gambling site, I feel something is not right so i'm not comfort to play there.
Their provably fair "calculation" is not rational based on community feedback on last year
The game is not provably fair rather its probably fair. I suggest anyone trying to earn a few extra bucks to try proper gambling sites rather than these exchanges.

Yobit is flawless for exchanging altcoins with bitcoins but for gambling I would not even suggest anyone to play there. In fact sometimes they even stuck your withdraw though it's solved later, that's understandable too ..
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 29, 2017, 08:51:53 AM
So many sites already include a not so buying on is silly. The person using a bot either thinks it will make them money or to take the emotion out of gambling. But buying a bot or clamming one is better then the other is something I don't think is true. Don't fool yourself it believing this.
It is not about fooling ourselves, but we all feel lucky at times and want to test a particular strategy. The edge is just 1% and 99% chances are fair for user and the site, I don't know why people create such a huge issue with that edge.

If you are little lucky and used the strategy properly you can still make a lot of profit, there are guys who overcome big edges of sportsbook.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 29, 2017, 08:14:41 AM
Enjoy doesn't mean have fun lol , i mean as long as it makes you comfortable then why not.
If you did not get my point about that , i can simply say small investment will not gives you anything good as a profit just get another small additional money.
If you okay with that situation , there is no harm right? Just do it.
Yes, of course there is nothing wrong in it if someone is happy with what he is adding to his account even in small amount if someone is satisfied with then it’s cool. Also if we study the life and business of most of the business person most of them have started it from a low level. If you are good in making money from small investments and that benefits you then you are on a right track.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: April 29, 2017, 07:20:31 AM
Well when I was in grade school and highschool, me and my friends play poker, card games and marbles. That time you can ask to play a game anytime because as a kid I'm an easy go lucky one. When college comes then I play gambling by season where I only play sports betting or when the NBA playoffs come.

It's just depend what type of gambling are you in and what is your preferences. Some just learned and do it seasonal, some are occasionally, some are making gambling as a hobby. Well in terms of where do I gamble, on grades school it is at the school and at the house. For sports betting then there is no particular place.
Yes, I agree it depends on the mood of the person and the priorities that one have. I have learned it in the university hostel playing cards, dice, poker. It usually used to be happened in the evening with friends and sometimes betting on the sports events etc. Where many other activities use to happened as well.
1886  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have not invested in Bitcoin when it was 200 US dollars on: April 28, 2017, 09:22:40 PM
hey dont worry that you have not bought bitcoins when the price of bitcoins have been 200$.Well you can buy it now also,as the bitcoin have a lot of potential and  it will reach the moon in the coming years ,otherwise you will post here and feel sad when the price of bitcoins will rise upto 10000$.
well remember one thing that it is never too late to start trading .
I guess, you still have the time to buy it now. By looking at the price graph of the bitcoin and the acceptance level of people and institution one can judge the future of it. There is no use to cry over the split milk. For you it is the right time to buy to the current level and it will also be fruitful for you. Just don’t give up, try hard for it and you can make more with those you have currently.
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to your BTC and alts if you died ? on: April 28, 2017, 09:04:31 PM
Yes, the best way out of this is to explain to your family about the existence of Bitcoin.

I think if I die my bitcoins will be left in my wallet forever even I am explaining bitcoin and bitcoin wallet to my family. They don't really know will they do and even get mad at me when I say if I die. I wonder how much will they sell my bitcoins if I gave it to them the day I die?
I guess you need to improve your communication skills, instead of using the word die you should simply tell them “if in case of an emergency I need your help to do it for me”. A little change with picking the words will solve your problem easily. You need to learn a little from the Asian politicians… Wink Sometimes you need to handle the situation diplomatically instead of being straight forward.
1888  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 28, 2017, 08:16:20 PM
bitcoin can give us pleasure and wealth. with bitcoin I can earn extra income. I can work at home and earn some money. our dreams will come true thanks to bitcoin. We would  be definitely rich when  we do have  lots  of  bitcoin  we are  able  to save and would really depend  on   bitcoin price on that  said   year
One of the edge and advantage of bitcoin is to those who keep the coins with then to be sold at the time of the said year at the said value. The reason to be wealthy is basically to be please, to actually enjoy the moments of one’s life. It is the nature of the Humans that they struggle for the best and hence bitcoin have that charm to make you rich enough to feel lovely.
1889  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: April 28, 2017, 07:54:56 PM
That is a good question. Is it really possible? I do not think so. It just depend on the volume that is being traded in the market. It can manipulate only if someone comes with trillion dollars and deposit in bitcoin trade and I doubt that will also effect price of bitcoin on micro level. Don't know how people are even saying Yes it can be done.  Huh
The manipulation of bitcoin needs a monopoly. Monopolism is almost impossible for other people to do. The only person who can manipulate its prices is the one holding most of the Bitcoin. I am dead sure not a person as an individual but a company can do it if it is holding a great number of bitcoins. Thinking about it is just killing the time. The best part is to concentrate on work rather than spending your time on it.
1890  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: April 28, 2017, 07:42:14 PM
We are at all time high price level so it doesn't make any sense to comment that bitcoin is dead or will die in future as price has started to increase now and same we will see in coming years too when more people will start investing their money in bitcoins.
It seems quite wearied to me to even listen about that the bitcoin is dead. It is making history now a day. The bitcoin has never reached such a high price before than it currently is having.

I feel petty for them who still don’t understand that what bitcoin is going to be in future. It will not be that easier to earn it like it is now. It will be with higher price and will be tough to earn it. So how is it going to be dead ?
1891  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: April 27, 2017, 08:54:23 PM
I personally don't subscribe to the thought that most people use Bitcoin for shopping, I believe a majority of people use it for a lot of different purposes, the most common of which is often speculation or just holding for the market to go up. If there were more shops across the board that accepted Bitcoin, then I could see it being a more popular portion of the community, but the taste of money is just something most people don't want to ever see get out of their mouths.
Bitcoin will continue to be important as long as the community remains captivated.
For sure there are people who are holding the Bitcoin for the reason to get a higher return on it. But denying the fact that if you deal it as a currency or money you need to make some shopping with it. And I’ve seen people doing it. The fact is that they deal the bitcoin just like the other money. If you are considering the Bitcoin as a commodity and not a currency, than you are good to practice it by only saving it.
1892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: April 27, 2017, 08:44:27 PM
I store the greatest part of my bitcoins in lightweight wallets on computer. This is on Ethereum to be more accurate.
I think the best way to store your coins is to diversify, like not store them in one place, I personally use three different online wallets and I split my coins on all of them that way in case I get hacked I don’t lose all my coins, and I use online wallets because I believe they are much more secure than desktop wallets or hardware wallets.
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: April 27, 2017, 07:57:02 PM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
there is no risk at all , it is because the most of the developed countries are now accepting bitcoin as an way of the payment and also they legalise the bitcoin officially , so no risk to hold bitcoin .
Here in my country , which is India, the government is looking to legalise the bitcoin .
I don’t agree that there is no risk. What if we term the word no risk as low risk? It will be a very good terminology. The risk factor can never be eliminated it can only be minimized, and yes agree that many of the developed countries are adopting the bitcoin trend and are friendly to the bitcoin. It is good to know that Indian government is working on it as many people from India are using the bitcoin.
1894  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: April 27, 2017, 07:02:09 PM
Bitcoin is an ideal system that is designed to do without the services of banks. Therefore, I do not understand why complicating this process. Bitcoin Bank will not bring anything for users except for extra costs and control

Have you used a web wallet yourself?

Even if you have, you certainly didn't (try to) use the official Bitcoin client since otherwise you would have known that wallets are not really complicating the process. They are in fact simplifying it by hiding all the gory details from the user's eyes. The user doesn't have to know anything about Bitcoin inner workings, how it is built and of which parts it is made (blockchain, blocksizes, etc). He just need to learn what Bitcoin address is, and that's pretty much all
No doubt the exchanges sometimes face difficulties while dealing with the traditional banks but to my opinion the banks are adopting the bitcoin easily every next day. When we talk about a bank specifically designed for the Bitcoin, it means that we are trying to take things once again to the traditional system. It will be limiting the bitcoin to certain body. With this the bitcoin will lose its increasing number of users as well.
1895  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If you owned biitcoins.com what would you do with it ? on: April 23, 2017, 05:08:29 PM
biitcoins.com isn't good domain name and i think i would try my luck on better domain name even though it can't be ended with .com or try make bitcoin service with name biitcoins instead.
Why ? .com is always treated as premium domains. I guess you are meaning .io kind of domains for cryptocurrency related stuff, I do not thing .com cannot have value in crypto world. But I too do not like the name biitcoins, it is not at all seeming related to bitcoin ecosystem.

In short, i think you need lots of effort to make your domain become popular and make sure it's not typos, but a brand instead.
But I guess he is already doing the promotional work of his domain name. He may gift that domain to himself through an alt account but people who are into this board might read that domain name at least once. What a promotional strategy.
1896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: All adresses connected to one wallet? on: April 23, 2017, 04:13:00 PM
They even have list of all bitcoin addresses ever generated by some services like yobit, bitpay, xapo etc because all of them generate addresses with their one HD wallet for their users.
I just come to know about this, I guess it will be more useful for tracing out some transactions like where it will be ending up.

I know about walletexploerer as it is being used by forum members to find out alt accounts but now I come to know about the other most useful feature of walletexploerers as I need to find out some people who might have ended up their bitcoins into exchanges after that I know how to get their username/email from exchanges.
1897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: polo vs. bittrex used price: if... on: April 23, 2017, 03:52:42 PM
I just checked bitcoin prices : bitstamp is trading at  $1237.66 and bitfinex is nearing ATH $1349.0 and finally preev is showing bitcoin prices as $1301.

Not just with altcoin trading, the arbitrage is available even with bitcoin/fiat trading. I'm not sure about how to make use of these price differences as it is involving moving both fiats and bitcoins exchange to exchange which is a big headache to me.
1898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to sell bitcoins on an exchange on: April 23, 2017, 03:35:11 PM
I wonder how I am supposed to sell bitcoins on an exchange. I have been considering several and have gone through the KYC/AML process for three exchanges. The problem is once I sell my coins they might ask me to prove where I got them from. Keep in mind I am not intending to withdraw the FIAT, I just want to sell high and rebuy lower, and withdraw the coins.

The problem with proving the source of my coins is, how the hell do I do it? I bought them on MtGox and they can't ask MtGox for verification. Even if they did, the coins have gone through several addresses over the years. I can't even trace it back to the MtGox purchase since they went through other exchanges (and got mixed).

So what is one supposed to do here?
.
that's sounds fishy, an exchange asking where does your bitcoin came from. That's not good I think, you better stay away in that exchange. besides there are many other exchange site where they are asking where you bitcoin come's from just important is you buy bitcoin on their exchange site platform
When exchanges are dealing with fiats, I guess those KYC information are mandatory for preventing money laundry.

That is the reason some exchanges are asking the source of bitcoin from which it was earned from. I'm not finding anything wrong with this action of some exchanges because we need to comply with government regulations on preventing money laundry.
1899  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Making around $37 per BTC with instant trading on: April 23, 2017, 02:58:00 PM
This time it's easier, there are a lot of options to do arbitrage on altcoins. I like doing that. 10-50% profit can even reach 100%
You are amazingly making profits, I just wonder how quickly you are able to move coins across exchanges. I do see some exchanges are not processing withdrawal request instantly and network confirmation also take some time to get you ready for going for arbitrage trading.

If you have any better plan to solve these practical problems that will be more helpful for many people like me who are all looking for the opportunity of getting into arbitrage trading.
1900  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: April 23, 2017, 02:17:21 PM
Gambling site is very much profitable as compare to dating site, we all know that. But if I may add to the question of OP, which do you think is much easier to get referrals? For me, getting a gambling to be your referral is much harder than getting someone to sign under you in dating site. And some dating some pay huge amount being an affiliate. I already got referrals for a dating site, but have 0 referrals for gambling.
Dating sites just target single men whereas gambling is attracting all age people and even girls also do gamble (in many culture dating sites are not preferred by girls/women).

I am not seeing any gambling site with banners of other advertisers. Just showing only one banner will not hurt reputation nor irritate gamblers (like blockchain.info is doing). This could generate additional profits, but I guess gambling sites are already making big money that is the reason they are not showing any advertisements.
