Besides what DdmrDdmr already said, there is another way in which your images can become visible in a thread or post. If a user with the appropriate rank quotes your post in a new reply, your images will show up in their post. Sometimes they will do that themselves, especially if the image deserves to be visible. If not, it could help if you asked someone nicely to do it by mentioning it in your post. I wouldn't recommend you PM anyone to do it though as that could create problems for you. Unsolicited PMs are against the forum rules!
That's way I have seen in some art contest where newbies are taking part and submit their entry but due to restrictions of the rank their images are not visible on the forum but other high rank members quote it for visibility and that could help him.

As suggested above @OP you could go through buying Copper Membership and post images lifting up your restrictions but you have to upload them on image hosting site first of all and then copy the BBcode and paste it here or

The other way around is that you earn 1 merit and 30 activity on your profile and as per system it will take you around one month to reach the desired activity as 14 points of activity is distributed every two weeks to active members.Earning one merit will depend on some good posts. So best wishes to you for it.

Focusing on the roobet art contest just gone through some entries and there are some nice submissions while many are still to go as we still have some days left for this art contest to end. There could be extension if @Hhampuz made it clear on that day but many will submit their entry on last day like @Maus0728 with blast and creative one  Cheesy

This always remind us that never put everything in Metamask also never tried to put something unusual to our wallet especially if the source are unverified or something shady to us. These hacking incident happen to that user is another unfortunate sight to see which other whales need to learn of since if many of them keep putting their huge amount of money on a platform which security is questionable or if they don't have enough knowledge about many schemes then provably they might encounter this issue. Hopefully many will be more watchful to their balances and never ever download unknown things which we can see on our email nor try to sign up anything, Verifying the information we received is a must here.
It's sign for those who are keeping their whole lot of balance is one wallet only and are keeping backup on online storage with centralised server control that can be easily hacked. The further mistake he did was to give the code to hackers assuming it to be from company side which proved worse for him.But yes if you want safety then hardware wallets are best and using different addresses is preferred.

To all those who are into this NFT at the time the advice is don't link your main wallets for minting and keep the minimum balance in them to be on safer side as they always possess risk if you are not taking extra security measures.

You want people to know about the hack, that is good so that people can avoid to backup on clouds, but a topic about it is already posted on this forum, try to use the search engine first next time before you post topic on this forum.

To avoid posting on two threads, lock this thread.
Actually most of the time i check the threads beforehand but this time it was missed as i don't post on altcoin board of the forum and have not visited it from few days. But still this strike me to give newbies and others scam warning to be safe in this board as a help to them in detail on this matter. But good of you to mention that other thread also.

Actually so much higher as it can increase through level up but Im not sure how much that you have to wager to actually increase the basic rakeback. Ayezee probably have wagered over 500k or so but its still 40% for him. On top of that, you can get up to 10% rollback by linking your profile with a V1 rollbots though so thats pretty high
To be precise @Ayezee is on second position with Blood Diamond rank and have wagered $714,986,508 and his username is once again visible to users and he is having sponsored bankroll as far i know

but i got a losing streak , does high rakeback have anything to do with losing? I can't answer  Roll Eyes

Nah you are just unlucky in this case. Anyway this new rakeback system is still on trial until the next month though, if it is sustainable for the site and most of the players favour this then it will stay otherwise they will need to revamp it abit.
Yeah you have been not so lucky which is why this losing streak on your side and high rakeback don't have any connections with your chance of losing.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easter day bitcoiners.... on: April 20, 2022, 12:31:29 PM

Although I am a big fan of bitcoin and I believe it is one of the better hedges against inflation, its volatility can really hurts. Much more than inflation effects.

Let's not forget that we are nearly 40% down of November's ATH, and we are barely standing 40k levels.

In 2017 bitcoin price felt from 20k to 3.2k, which is incredibly heavy volatility and it certainly destroyed a lot of personal savings.

I don't expect to see the last 13 year gains in Bitcoin again, as its marketcap is already too big... But certainly its still have a lot of potential
Yeah the volatility is main issue for many of us and we can't control it as we have been continuously working on bitcoin development from time to time like addition of SegWit and now the LN channels to counter the fees issues but bitcoin volatility is not in our hands at the time.If we compare it to the inflation then ofcourse it's high but the positive aspects are btc will not always plunges while the inflation tends to change and become hyperinflation.

We have seen the ATH of bitcoin back in Nov 2021 near coinbase listing around $70k but it didn't embark that mark of which we all feel sad but it will again touch that milestone again.

Speaking of previous years and the current scenario then it's hard for btc prices to move up due to the market cap as you see it's becoming enormous and expensive so with billions dollar of investment also the prices tends to move a little bit only but that's concrete unlike some shitcoins having no utility and become victims of pump dump scheme.

All those who have hold it for more than 3-4 years are usually in profits like 2017-18 investors who have also invested at around $19800 got the dump and prices went to $3k but if they have hold it till now they might have doubled it even at the $40k irritating range also and that's the beauty of bitcoin.

Personally, I have some of traditional investments because I really need some protection against bitcoin volatility (because it is really a big % of my portfolio now, and I was hurt by this 40% correction already).

I don't believe world economy is doomed, and in my lifetime I expect to see USA and Europe economies recover, and fantastic gains in their stock markets. If somehow world inflation goes really wild, I expect to see bitcoin raise to new ATH levels.
The world economy is not going to doomed in short term period especially the strong economies like US and Europe have strong financial support over the rest of world but it didn't give long term legitimate guarantee to us from inflation hedge. The worst political decisions can turn the table upside down anytime but yes it's good that you have backup traditional investment plans that grows slowly giving some returns that you can counter with bitcoin volatility maintaining somehow equilibrium position of your funds.

That's what I also see and since the person who claim about those issue doesn't respond anymore about his claims so I guess that's another close chapter for those people who blame the casino if there's issue happening on them. And Roobet really gets a good feedback to its community since many people are placing their own testimony that this casino is good compare to other casino who have shady reputation exist on this forum.
And he won't even respond to anyone because his work was to post one such scam allegations and he see it didn't work as players will not trust him without proof he has gone his way so nothing more to discuss about him and extended conversation will have no means.Ignore him like silly guy who can't handle his loss and is trying to convince others but without any support.

I didn't know that you already have sports betting, I just saw it in your website after visiting it. I would like to know if there is any promotion I can use in sports betting? Maybe for new sports betting players in your website?

There are no special promotions for sports betting unless you are a Rollbot holder maybe you will get a special offer
I myself only play at the casino not at sports bets because Rollbit has no reason to attract me to sports betting
I understand what you mean as a newcomer sports betting usually offers promotions let's just wait what's their plan.

Unfortunately I am not a Rollbot holder and I wasn't able to buy pre-sale Rollbot. It would be great if the Rollbot can also be used too in sports betting so it can be used as investment, in casino and in sports betting. I think all people will be buying Rollbots.
If you want then you could buy them on Rollbit NFT marketplace and enjoy the benefits afterwards as a holder. The players are getting extra rollback and level up bonuses on their bets placed with holding these sports rollbots but what exactly you are saying? All cannot buy it because of the limited supply and some are happy with only gambling so it's personal choice.
1888  Other / Beginners & Help / Metamask iCloud backup phising scam... on: April 20, 2022, 11:46:39 AM
There are more and more scams coming out on daily basis draining out the funds of users from their wallets and the recent one is for Metamask walllet.

According to one report the users who were having iCloud backup for app data it was also having the password encrypted metamask vault giving hackers access to your wallet and drain out the funds easily.

If your password was not strong enough it easily be brute forced and one user got scammed worth around $650k from this scam who was holding NFT's in his wallet which were all gone :

Original Tweet

The user also received a call from fake Apple company asking for code which he gave and access to the wallet so this was extra mistake on his side

Quote
Got a phone call from Apple, literally from Apple (on my caller Id) called it back because I suspected fraud and it was an Apple number,” Iacovone tweeted. “So I believed them, they asked for a code that was sent to my phone and two seconds later my entire MetaMask was wiped.”

The Metamask has also confirmed it that it was being saved for those who have gave this permission on iCloud backup and now they have asked everyone to deny it and be safe :

Quote
The DeFi wallet provider said Sunday users who have iCloud enabled for iPhone application data were susceptible to hackers because the backups include their password-encrypted MetaMask vault.

“If your password isn’t strong enough and someone phishes your iCloud credentials, this can mean stolen funds,” MetaMask tweeted.

So this is just warning to all to be safe in every aspect because one wrong step can land all your funds in your wallet to the hackers as we are seeing day by day.Use hardware wallets more and your seeds stored on some safe offline storage with proper backup for them as this online services could easily be hacked.

1889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Cannot Find Any Currency Exchange Where I Am Legitimate on: April 20, 2022, 11:30:22 AM
The only options you might have are:
1. Get Rep.Dom citizenship
It will take lot of time around 7 years to become the citizen of Dom republic as foreigners with 5 year temporary permit and after two more years they are eligible to apply for citizenship and processing time after it will also be around 60-90 days so that way is not best for him as he can't wait that long.

Another semi-option would be to find an US SMS number you can use (maybe virtual one, maybe somebody helping you out), but that can already be seen as cheating the system (and you don't know for sure if somebody will attempt to use that number to recover/steal your account; also your IP is not from US).
There are some services which will provide him virtual number for SMS verification as many opts for it to bypass the KYC verification process in bitcoin ATM's and other services so yes it could help him.

Use a DEX, such as Bisq, LocalCryptos, or HodlHodl. It sounds like you are trading in USD rather than Dominican pesos, so you should have no problem finding trading partners offering ACH/bank transfers, or something like Zelle, Cash App, Western Union, or whatever else works for you. You can bypass all this nonsense regarding KYC and rest easy knowing that your exchange can never seize your coins.
That is why these exchange services are not useful and have many restrictions that can impose barrier on you like centralised authority.

That's really a bad list, things got complicated on centralized exchanges when someone live on different locations from his identity. Even KuCoin still offer withdrawal without KYC, but you need to read someone ever have a problem since they're US citizen. Most of centralized exchanges also doesn't serve US citizens, even you're not yet have a trouble with centralized exchanges, you can't know the future.
Kucoin is good for people residing outside the US as the daily withdrawal limit is around 1 btc without KYC but as it's not licensed in US so they have restrictions for the citizens as this is the case with most of the exchanges.

Damn, that's a sneaky way to scam someone and the one that is very easy to fall for if you are doing business on Telegram as there is a lot of stuff going on there all the time. I know its not the mistake that you specifically did, but I would advise everyone to disable the option to automatically download any files as this thing is enabled by default on Telegram and I heard many stories about people getting rekt that way.
Telegram is risky as well as useful at the same time so we need to be extra careful while dealing with the third person whom we don't know personally as this is pure risk dealing and you need to have all the safety measures. There are number of telegram scam cases like adding you to some fake groups and now this auto download. So for those who don't know how to turn it on here is the procedure for you all

For not being added in any group without your permission:

Telegram>Privacy and security> Groups>Who can add you to group> My contacts

You can add exception to these cases anytime

For turning off the auto download meadia features as sometimes it is by default on in Telegram:

Telegram>Settings>Data and storage> Auto download media turn off on mobile as well wifi network

~snip~
This is sad to hear about that despite being aware about these crypto scams you unintentionally fall victim of it losing your hard earned money worth $12k and know how hard this must be for you at this time. But these scammers are always trying to find an opportunity which they gained in your case with this phishing PDF file and having access to your metamask wallet draining out the funds out of it.

Recently as per reports the number of phising PDF scams have grown drastically over the past two years as scammers are finding out the new ways to make the fool of people.Mostly they are carried out by redirecting you to some fake websites and giving the hackers full control at the backend like installing some keylogger malwares and other virus that can access your files over the system. As per study these scams are classified into various types according to their percentage as follows:

You see they have various ways to make you fool like by verify the captcha and other ways.As you said it was Screen saver scam so the hackers just sent you clickable pdf which was gaining access to your system and funds were withdrawn.

Generally as said they are injected with with malwares that are stringed to hackers backend giving him the access to your wallets as Metamask is usually logged in your system as browser extension so it's easy once they gain access to your system. Here is one reference image explaining how it will redirect you to some fake websites:

You must be thinking what's happening while the bad actor's are draining out your wallets and once you know whats happening and revoke the permission it's too late as happened with you. This is happening nowadays for the NFT's people having on Metamask wallet but you also haved funds over there. This is why you need hardware wallets and keep as low funds you could on these wallets for you safety.

Read this article to check more about such scams in detail and be safe from them in future.

Take it as lesson and be safe i future.
1891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Easter day bitcoiners.... on: April 19, 2022, 12:13:52 PM
We all know that recently we all celebrated Easter Egg day and it was normal for me as well but there was one image which i came across the internet that popped up the reality many are still lagging to understand. Also sorry for being late.

There was one post made by me yesterday regarding this in WO thread but then it came to my mind why not create a thread for it so that other members can also understand it with my little one more attempt.

See i want to clarify in the start that I am bitcoin maximalist but don't enforce it on anyone else but just spitting out the facts in front of those who fear it or thinks shitcoins are good or fiat is superior to it.

So here goes the image for it :

You see bitcoin is the only golden egg in the basket while all other fiat currencies are depicting rotten eggs that are not going to give you any of the proteins and will end up badly.Almost all the currencies have witnessed downfall and loss in purchasing power capacity due to inflation and their reckless printing of notes making the existing one's worthless for the public. They have been doing it for past hundred of years and inflation is not a new thing but the fact is the situations are now crossing the barriers and people behind sitting in the AC halls doesn't give a fuck about how the normal residents are going to survive.

Every major currency like USD,Pound,Lira,Ruble have lost Major share of their value and all this due to inflation and all those eggs in basket represent them. Here is visual representation for them if you have not given it look with your eyes :

The US dollar and British pound have lost almost 60-70% of their value over time due to inflation

The next one in line is recently becoming victim of this inflation trap Turkish Lira and Russia Ruble :

.

You can check this must be the condition of every fiat globally and stiil people fear the volatility in bitcoin makes me laugh.Just your fiat is legal and owned by center doesn't make it safe which you need to understand and they can anytime restricts you even from using funds in the bank if valid documents are not provided.

While bitcoin had given so much returns over the past years and if we compare it to it's ATH near coinbase listing previous year it was 68000% growth with market cap reaching $1trillion in just time span of 13 years and is there any other asset that is capable of the same? NO so why we fear it when it's our future safety.

The inflation is rising at an alarming rate and is not fixed at all which this picture clearly states:

Even if your salary is increased which i assume is not increased at the same pace with inflation you can't cope up with the current scenario even if you are millionaire. In the countries like Venezuela where you can't even buy bread with millions worth of fiat how could you survive even if you are having tonnes load of money into your account?

On the other side having little fraction of bitcoin will also help you to sustain in the long run with it's deflationary nature so you must decide timely which side you want to be?
1892  Other / Meta / Re: Please have a look at this crap (1xBit). on: April 19, 2022, 11:36:46 AM
There are many members who are promoting scam casino 1xbit for just few dollars and have negative feedback on their profile from other members. After your post i checked his profile and yes his all posts are crap without any relevant information in them and he is not even Native English speaker which i assume from his writing style.

Like in his recent posts he states that Japnese government know the real identity of Sathoshi even the spelling is wrong in his post

As per his trust rating the account is also hacked but as per his bpip.org merit information he has sent 57 merits to 49 profiles while he has only earned 11 merits over time so does this mean he was merit source or what?

His most posts are similar to his campaign members mostly in gambling, speculation board and that also crap with one to two liners without even in proper English because they need to fullfill the campaign requirements.Have noticed it and will try to report his post in the wall of shame section.
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: April 19, 2022, 11:20:11 AM
None of the things you listed here were "information about btc"! They are either fake news, FUD or at best they are exaggeration of a situation like the nonsense about EU. It is not new either, ever since bitcoin started to grow which is probably about 11 years ago, certain groups have been feeling increasingly scared which is why they have been filling the internet with propaganda.
This is the real problem with the people that whatever they read online they assume it to be legit and fits it in their mind where all the FUD and negativity about bitcoin begins. The government and btc haters are taking advantage of the people molding them towards investing in those shitcoins and centralised CDBC which have been developed without even properly detailing about the blockchain usage.

There are abundant of useful resources here on the forum only which can give you plenty of knowledge regarding bitcoin and helps you to understand it in better way but only few cares to read them and enhance their knowledge but that's their loss in the end.

$40k is nothing.

$50k is nothing.

$60k is nothing.

I want to see $70k before I'm impressed again.
$70k is perfect choice to be impressed again because we have already seen the past ability of bitcoin at around $69k so now small pumps will not make us happy

So at $70k anytime it happens we are all are going to be impressed

So hope you get impressed soon mate  Wink
1895  Other / Meta / Re: Allow SVG on Signatures :) on: April 19, 2022, 10:46:22 AM

It's possible to hide malicious code in an svg (it's likely scannable and easy to detect but there's probably not much point seen in taking the risk).

A simple way svg can be used for hacking would be by adding a closing svg tag inside the image you've uploaded and then adding your onw html/javascript/php straight after it (you can add a closing svg at the end of that too to get it to be less likely to be detected - I'm posting this as an example because I don't expect it to work ANYWHERE).
Yes and hackers are always trying to find out new ways to scam you so the forum security needs to be updated with it and trying new things in signature space with svg can result in those malicious codes you are talking about.

One google search landed me on stackoverflow results where user received malicious code embedded in JS redirecting him to phising YouTube page that could harm his system .

Quality of signatures would for sure be much better with vector graphics, but I am not sure if I ever saw a forum that has svg signatures, and I am not sure we even need that.
I think that theymos is trying to reduce all the risks and I don't expect to see any changes with signatures, at least not with current forum software.
You an get very good signatures for your business even now, if you pick a good designer.
The quality can be improved with vector signatures but if the security is compromised so what's the need to do it? Moreover at this time the signatures are looking fine even in the pixelated format and forum is doing quite well in them.Yes i also think there is any vector signature on the forum or any particular thread about it because i have searched it and found nothing related to this.So at this time we are absolutely best without superior quality also with security.

Well, If he is not satisfied with the answer of Roobet Support. Or If he still believes that Roobet scamming him. He can create scam accusations with all the proofs. All the forum members and DT members with judge them if they really scamming or not. But, Posting these accusations on their ANN affects casino reputations. So, I would like to request everyone to forget it and talk about another topic.
That's the case as he is mere playing useless blame game without any proof so what will he state in the scam accusations thread against the team? These gamblers usually bet more they can afford to loose and then crying all over hoping to defame the image of reputed casino and refund but nothing happens so yes best is to ignore them.
1897  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 19, 2022, 10:14:09 AM
This currency has always caught my attention, and it would be great if they could implement Monero, I think that the mere fact that Rollbit does something like this to impose it would bring many more users, especially those who are lovers of privacy and anonymity, also that it would be an accurate movement because as time passes and everything that is happening in the world, whether they are the most shocking fundamentals, people want at all costs to hide their status quo as a protection measure against governments, banks, among other organizations , and if a casino of this level has to be able to play there with privacy currency, I am totally sure that it will have even more traffic.
Undoubtedly this addition will provide complete privacy to the users and those players who wants to be anonymous on these crypto casinos will definitely love it but the problem is same as written above.Although the rules allowed it but still the government regulations will put pressure on the casinos in most areas about the Monero withdrawal which will not be traced. But if the team has mapped up everything and if they find it suitable they will add it.
1898  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: April 19, 2022, 09:51:44 AM
So this poor and confused soul made a thread on a Bitcoin forum to seek advice about how to shutdown (whatever that means) cryptocurrencies globally. Did he try CTRL+ALT+DEL? That should do it. He believes that crypto is causing too much suffering because of the losses in value. Interesting since Bitcoin is an excellent investment long-term. But let's say he is right and Bitcoin keeps losing value. His solution to this problem is a global shutdown/ban of everything crypto, ultimately causing complete loss of all investments. What a strategy.
Gone through his post history and find almost all posts claiming btc to be a joke and he himself didn't have an idea that he is mere joke himself on the forum. He talks shit and connect this all with Jewish drama and explain bitcoin is down all the time like hell and reading his post is more of funny as there is no connection in his talks and have zero knowledge about what he writes.

Yes ETH can also replace btc according to him  Grin but shutting down the whole system on global level is best solution and he might be thinking there is main switch or underground basement where agents are working to control the bitcoin network and if you shut down it everything is under control. Grin
1899  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where does this merit comes from ? on: April 19, 2022, 09:28:41 AM
So in previous times merit is comes from airdrop wow thats awesome. But now it is hard to get because we have to help others to solve their questions and answers and if they liked it they will give merit to us. Is that correct ser ?
When merit system was introduced by @theymos in 2018 the members were airdropped certain amount of merits according to their rank like lowest was full member with 100 merits and highest legendary with 1000 merits airdropped to them.Earlier only activity was required to rank up but this merit system helps lot to hinder the growth of spam posters on the forum.

But saying it was easy to earn merits in past is wrong as you only got airdropped merits rest you have to earn and it's the same as today. If you are quality poster and contributing effective to the forum you will earn them.Suppose you write up a post asking some technical or non technical doubt and it initiated healthy discussion on the forum it's also qaulity post on which you can get merit. So contribution to the forum and learning from it will help you to gain merits if you are focused on it.

i will give you quick answer "where the merits comes from" its airdropped for several member for another member
What do you actually mean by it? The whole members were given the merits based on rank but there were some exceptions to it like some got more merits above their rank by @theymos and appointment of merit sources. As @Blackhatcoiner has given the link for this information you can check about them.

Your query has been already resolved by the members above by specifying you particular board for selling your PC stuff but more customers will first look at your trust ratings if you are interested in selling stuff so you can check out this thread once:

But as suggested above there are lot of scammers also who will be trying to contact you via pm also so be sure to get an trusted escrow for your stuff.Rest take each step with precautions.
