point being, if they are going to start advertising on Zerohedge, that means CONSTANT exposure to their readers.
It might be a bit soon to say, but if BFL turns out to be a blatant scam, won't this effectively be a CONSTANT exposure of a scam attempt and thus make things worse for bitcoin?

I think the author must have never used encryption before in his life, or it is possible this was a paid advertisement (unless I'm grossly missing something in his technology that the author failed to mention).

Personally, I think they're doing a great job over there at Western Governor's University. They're one of the only fully nationally and regionally accredited online colleges that offer cheap tuition and experience based credits* (terms may have changed since I last researched them).
they're the #1 participant in the Student Loan Bubble you know. Oh I'm sure they love student loans (any for-profit company would), but I'm pretty sure it's Phoenix that's #1 (and already found guilty of fraud, changed names, skirted regulations, paid off senators, etc as a result). Sorry for bringing it off-topic, was this about BFL or the blog posts? who's BFL? I haven't been around for a while, but I think I heard something last year about a company that made some mining equipment but then moved into the fan business because it was more profitable. Is that them?

It seems kinda like bitcoins, I mean they will fail, cause they will probably have to require a minimum to put into the service, since fees will be the down fall. How do you make people add $10 and then divide it out in ¢20 to content creators. People really want to tip people once or twice, only if they are blown away. As soon as they see a minimum they will probably be turned off rather quickly, I dont want $10 sitting on some site.
With all due respect, you have forgotten about Apple consumers entirely. That said, I think the idea is outdated and Bitcoin replaces it effortlessly.

My guess is these will not be transferable, so instead of picking an app, clicking "Buy," having it charge your card, and instantly downloading it, you'll be looking for coins, buying them, essentially letting someone else hold on to your money, and then using coins to purchase that app. Sounds like a REALLY stupid business idea that will only make things more difficult and confusing.
So what you're saying is, it's good for bitcoin.

I'm absolutely positive that if OP just posted to do some work for 1 BTC that he could find it.

@OP: Do let us know when you post your thread about doing work for BTC, I would be happy to send people your way if possible. Otherwise I suppose it's time to move to a new username and start over as everyone will probably remember you as a scammer.

I'm totally sorry guys, I meant to say "IndieGogo Campaign that could be replaced by Bitcoin" but I can't change my own posts. -_-

You can always go live in china or something. No zionist bankers slaving you there.
You're right and that is some very sound advice.

This is exactly why I believe the future of bitcoin exchange for newbies will be in workforce development, not cash-for-coin exchanges. It's just too difficult to break into still (and possibly in the future depending on law changes and exchange longevity), but there is always work ready to be done in exchange for coins.
@OP: Why not change the title of your thread to "Will do any job for 1 BTC" and I bet you'd get a dozen PMs for various small tasks.
For some reason I just don't feel people will be that willing to give up 1 btc for a small task, considering it is approx. $20 at the moment. Someone offered me 5 BTC a while ago to make a CSS template for them. Someone else is charging 0.01 BTC to draw a picture. The market around here is not exactly "fixed" so you may have to work for the opportunity, but I guarantee you'll get more luck with that than this.

I must say that I went into watching that with the mindset of a youtuber and was bored to death in the first 2 minutes. But once I changed my mindset to that of an employee or developer looking to break into Bitcoin and actually learn something, I found the video fascinating and well documented. He is a good teacher and I enjoyed the video.

I think five in total, and all disclosed. I have no hidden, read sockpuppet, accounts. I've never used a proxy, and the minutes hours days online shown with this account were not contrived. My psychiatrist said I'm getting better, but my psychologists all argue that more time is needed, and I can't take my boots off quite yet (Google translated from Latin, gleaned from one of the pill bottles).
~Al the Alpaca~
You wear boots? What do you recommend, because I need a good pair and Korea doesn't sell any for tall Americans with a size 12 1/2 ~ 13 foot.

"Bitcoin? For drugs? No way, think of them like Amazon coins." THe first one will lead the listener to say WTF, the second one won't. "So Bitcoins are worth $1 each and I can only buy them on $20 gift cards and I can only buy apps for a Kindle with them? Why would I want that? WTF?". Not completely analogous. You're confusing the logical with the perceptive. The logical person is already against the war on drugs and doesn't need the comparison. The kind of person this comparison works on already thinks "OMG drugs ban them", and puts more weight on whether two words rhyme versus whether a premise is logical. Is someone still wrong if they're against the war on drugs because it doesn't rhyme? hehe. I think closed-credits will have rules applied that they cannot be exchanged between other members no doubt or lest Amazon be up against the same wall everyone else has been (including Facebook). I could see them confiscating funds that were involved in user-to-user trades making it just as dangerous as a number of other stored-credit > BTC exchanges.

One (despite popular belief).

Any private currency backed by a powerful corporation can only help Bitcoin address regulatory questions. Amazon lawyers ought to be able to help set favorable precedents.
This. The more digital currencies there are, the easiest it will be for bitcoin to be used to swap between them. That, and closed-loop gift cards already exist for Amazon, so I'm not sure what the difference is in this.

Each chip has about 280MH / s, this means that they are a hardcopy of a FPGA and not a full custom ASIC. ... Proof? If it were an ASIC, would it be just one chip?
