we'd love to have you support our cause and share your experience and passion with the next generation of bitcoiners.

Suggesting that the "next generation of bitcoiners" can only be shared with through your video page? Maybe you just don't know how to talk without sounding like a tool.
1102  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Young Turks (850,000 subscribers on youtube) responded to me about Bitcoins on: April 30, 2013, 05:48:25 AM
If you would at any time like to continue to support the bitcoin community by

That's as far as I read. Only a tool would advertise others performing free work for their own personal project as "supporting the bitcoin community".

One day you'll read what you said and realize what my problem with you is. Until then, good luck!
1103  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Young Turks (850,000 subscribers on youtube) responded to me about Bitcoins on: April 30, 2013, 05:44:36 AM
Yes because I'm working for free.

Who isn't? You think being a tool (e.g. telling everyone that if they don't join your video lecture club that they will be 'left in the dust of progress') is excusable because you're working for free? I co-founded Bitcoin Magazine and worked there for 12 months, never taking a salary, because I have a passion for actual solutions to problems.

When I question your supposed solution, your response so far have been to question me for questioning you, instead of just admitting that you don't know how to say anything without sounding like a tool.
1104  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Young Turks (850,000 subscribers on youtube) responded to me about Bitcoins on: April 30, 2013, 05:35:42 AM
First, what the hell is your problem. It isn't "my video page"

"Head of the Bitcoin Education Project"

Okay, it's not yours. You're just the "head" of it.

The vast majority of people who end up using bitcoin will not go to bitcointalk nor any other popular community resource. They will be doing what we intended them to do all along. Use bitcoin as an online currency. Their only point of contact with our world will likely be my project

Wow. Ego much? And wait, now it *is* your project? Didn't you just say it wasn't?
1105  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Young Turks (850,000 subscribers on youtube) responded to me about Bitcoins on: April 30, 2013, 05:21:51 AM
Are you done with your personal attacks?

Are you done publicly claiming that any other educational effort in bitcoin will become obsolete because of your video page?

It's like buying your neighbor's house as a backup in case yours gets hit by a tornado.

Rofl.
1107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do NOT declare that you have ever owned bitcoins on: April 30, 2013, 05:05:46 AM
No one can ever accurately declare they've ever owned bitcoins, but bitcoins cannot be owned. I will declare that I have owned numerous encryption keys, though I cannot remember which or what relevance they had.

Mod Edit: Thread split from here.

I've given up on political demagogues a long time ago. Not getting drawn into this convo. I hope turk can broadcast Bitcoin in a positive light. Good luck
They aren't political demagogues, they're a news organization. They aren't running for any kind of office and do stories on everything from funny animals to natural disasters.

I've followed them long enough to know that they'll be objective enough for this to be a worthy undertaking. If anything, I expect him to be enthusiastic about it because they run lots of stories on how terrible central banks are.

I fear your response will fall on deaf ears. The user 'charleshoskinson' isn't interested in anything other than the video website he's pushing. He basically laid it out numerous times that anyone who isn't a part of his video club will become "obsolete" to Bitcoin's future. I'm sure he feels the same about "The Young Turks" and Youtube.
1109  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FRAUD/SCAM ALERT ED TRICE, Liquid Nitrogen Overclocking Inc on: April 30, 2013, 05:02:36 AM
Believe it or not its possible to be born in one country and move to another

Who said it wasn't possible? You're the one claiming to be American (and thus outraged at someone else you think is American) then claiming to be British (and thus outraged at someone for not understanding your spelling). Which is it, Ed?
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is scrypt better than shaXXX?? on: April 30, 2013, 04:53:11 AM
Why not a coin that does both?
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF - Kiddy Porn in the Blockchain for life? on: April 30, 2013, 04:52:10 AM
You can also paste CP on IRC. Does that mean that everyone in the chatroom is breaking the law and the servers need to be shut down now?

(Deja vu, hasn't this topic been covered feverishly already in 2010 and 2011?)
1112  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FRAUD/SCAM ALERT ED TRICE, Liquid Nitrogen Overclocking Inc on: April 30, 2013, 04:48:41 AM
edit: lol, a bit American-centric with your spellings there. Brits don't use z nearly as much as Yanks, understandable you'd not seen the spelling before: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/paralysed

So now you're British? Just yesterday you were American with all-Indian ancestry.

You are a sad shell of a person who thinks he's entitled to shit and as an American with nothing but Indian ancestry, I'm fucking tired of people like you giving our people a bad name.

Notice papamoi already admitted to the things I brought up. In your haste to attack a charlatan, you're defending another.

The only thing he admitted to was being stupid enough to trust a scammer. You're here to attack a victim though? Really? Are you also a rape apologist in your spare time, Ed?
1113  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FRAUD/SCAM ALERT ED TRICE, Liquid Nitrogen Overclocking Inc on: April 30, 2013, 04:40:26 AM
I'm not sure if "The_Authorities" is Ed Trice or not, but whomever they are, they sure seem absolutely desperate to derail this thread.

He posted the minimal amount in newbie jail (including advice to others that it's safe to use Paypal for buying bitcoins)

Totally, done it numerous times, buy with confidence.

Then he comes here to spray verbal diarrhea sandwiched in between a new accusation every post.

And as a police officer hoping to make detective someday, I can tell you that with your attitude, the police are going to treat you about as seriously as a man who bought a unicorn or some magic beans.
Where did papamoi ever say he was a police officer? Isn't Ed Trice the one pretending to be a police officer (philly_cop)?

And considering your previous forays into day trading that ended miserably

When did papamoi ever say he was day trading previously?

Because we all know police fraud departments don't spend their time investigating elder abuse or ponzi schemers.
Depends on the case. In Ed Trice's case, the FBI is more interested than any local police would be due to the interstate and international wire fraud.

They spend their time investigating entitled Indian kids who get pissed that they never got their unicorn that shits magic beans.

Indian? Where?

That motorcycle accident must've really fucked up his head, but he shouldn't have been going 50 kph over the speed limit. I wonder how that kid he hit is by the way, still paralysed from the waist down, I imagine?

What motorcycle accident? What kid? Can't you spell paralyzed?

I'm guessing he's desperate to get back and have one big score after he got caught embezzling client funds in 05.

What embezzlement?

I mean this isn't the first time he's lost 50000 dollars or thereabouts. At least this time, it appears to have been his own money and USD instead of euros. This also isn't as much of an NFA and CFTC matter since he's not fucking up futures this time around.

What? Where?

You basically made a brand new accusation every single post, but never provided any evidence whatsoever. You're either a really bad troll with the mental capacity of a 12 year old, or you're Ed Trice (same qualifications), desperately attempting to keep the focus off of the fact that Ed Trice is an habitual liar, conman, and will soon be in prison for a number of things (including but not limited to insurance fraud, attempted insurance fraud, larceny, conspiracy to defraud investors, fraud, wire fraud, etc).

Thanks for giving me another reason to post here about Ed Trice, the con-man. Can't wait to see the new blog about him going up.

Why do I see people on one thread bitching about "Bitcoin Foundation takeover of Bitcoin" and lack of response to inquiries, and then on another thread people are recommending people be directed to them to respond to inquiries?

Why not refer newbies to Bitcoin Magazine's active journalist staff? They teach people about Bitcoin for a living and don't even charge 10,000 BTC to be a member!

Purchased $500 in giftcards from "Wardrick" via johnthedong escrow.

One card didn't work at first and he replaced it immediately with another card that did.

Will use again.
1117  Other / Meta / Re: Who would pay to use this forum? on: April 28, 2013, 04:56:29 PM
OP wants to turn this forum into somethingawful.

That would be an improvement. Being able to buy douchebags a subtitle that literally says "I'm a douchebag" is an awesome feature, no matter how you spin it.  Grin

One good thing about SA is that they have quality control police. You shitpost, you get banned. You want to return, you pay again. Can you imagine how orderly these forums would be if that were instated here? Dare I say I'd actually be proud of the forums.
