1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amepay raised 84.6 million in their IEO on: January 05, 2021, 07:30:45 AM
Amepay did a buyback I heard, this should limit the dump but bounty is still ongoing and tokens are still been sent out to participants, if avoiding dump is the team priority they would have stop the bounty campaign by now
I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that on this forum AMEPAY is conducting only a signature campaign. This was enough to succeed. Lately, many projects do not include a signature campaign in the bounty campaign. In vain. Bounty hunters are making significant advertising support for new projects.
The day after tomorrow we will be able to see how strong the position of this project on the stock exchange will be.
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: January 05, 2021, 06:50:10 AM
ETH really is a shitcoin with no intrinsic value. Its not a store of value since when bitcoin crashes 20% then ETH crashes 50%. When Bitcoin rises ETH barely follows, ETH is still 65% down compared to the recent BTC rise.

2018: Bitcoin $19000, ETH $1400
2021: Bitcoin $32000, ETH $1000

If you stayed in ETH you have lost more money than Enron. ETH is a scam.

There is alot of new projects that do everything better than ETH or will in the future. Let us find something better than ETH that we can all buy for cheap now have a giant distribution for everyone and then go to the moon! No need to make ETH devs and people owning 50000 ETH rich for sucking $20 transaction fees out of us.
Ethereum is a great coin and a well-deserved leader in altcoins. Moreover, it is not a fraud, since since 2015 it has been performing various useful functions in the cryptocurrency market. More than 80 percent of tokens are issued on the ethereum platform and this is also an unconditional confirmation of its high image.
Moreover, the current problem with high transaction fees arose precisely because of the high demand for using the ethereum platform, because most of the new DeFi projects were released on its platform. Even many state stablecoins are issued in ERC-20 format.
After a complete update of this coin as part of the improvements to Ethereum 2.0, the position of ethereum will become even stronger, I am completely sure of this.
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: January 04, 2021, 06:20:01 AM
I have a different opinion than most users who say this is the end of xrp and I think there is a big pump ahead of us.
As I remember correctly, there were also some problems with Ripple before the earlier Ath. History has come full circle, sell cheap buy expensive.
That was the plan, Xrp has too good technology, is cheap to provide, is desired by banks, and now there is also the idea that it should be gold-based, but for that to happen, gray mice, they must lose it. What a fantastic time.
However, today we see that ripple is losing more and more both in price and in the level of capitalization. If recently we saw a good price growth of this coin and its price of $ 0.60, then recently it dropped to the level of $ 0.23. In addition, today we already see ripple at the fifth position in the market capitalization and there was no such fall of this coin. Ripple lost its fourth place to Litecoin, although their difference in capitalization level is still insignificant: 10.5 against $ 10.8 billion for Litecoin.
If Ripple regains its position, it will not be soon.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: January 04, 2021, 05:55:06 AM
Nobody knows when the current bull run stops but if you look back in 2017, The bull run might stop on 2nd the week of FEB which is most possibly because most bear markets start at to end of FEB. So there is lots of time left and by that time bitcoin might reach $40K+. So trade carefully... very exciting times ahead.
The coming 2021 will be special in the history of cryptocurrency, however, like any other new year. Although this market develops cyclically, each subsequent year is still significantly different from the previous one. First of all, it should be borne in mind that the anniversary of the last halving will be in May, and only in general by this time the peak of the price growth of bitcoin is expected. However, this is not a dogma either. We are more and more convinced that cryptocurrency always surprises us. They will definitely be this year as well. Although the current large increase in the price of bitcoin can already be called such a surprise in the first days of the new year. In the near future, we expect further price growth in the cryptocurrency market.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very New Statement of "Vitalik Buterin" on: January 04, 2021, 05:15:30 AM
Buterin believes that the new generation will use cryptocurrency much more actively and against this background, the reputation of gold as a store of value and value will suffer. While this statement looks indisputable. Cryptocurrency very quickly enters our life and states have to reckon with it. Blockchain technology and the coronavirus pandemic have exposed significant flaws in the current global financial system and that traditional cash and non-cash payments are hopelessly outdated.
1926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $1000 on: January 04, 2021, 04:53:45 AM
Ethereum is up 46 percent in price over the past week, according to CoinMarketCap. and bitcoin by 12 percent. If earlier ethereum grew in price relatively slowly, then in just a day it increased by more than $ 200 and today it has overcome the $ 1,000 mark. This is very good news and should also stimulate the growth of other altcoins. So far, we do not see any obstacles for the further price growth of this coin and we hope that soon it will break its previous price record of $ 1400.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH overpriced? on: January 03, 2021, 06:39:09 PM
I don't think ethereum is overpriced. On the contrary, this coin is still very underestimated. When Bitcoin climbed to $ 20,000 in 2017. ethereum hit $ 1400. Ethereum is currently being updated and this should have a positive effect on its price over time. Today alone, the ethereum price has risen 17 percent and has already exceeded $ 900. Hopefully this month we will see an ethereum price of over one thousand dollars.
1928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amepay raised 84.6 million in their IEO on: January 03, 2021, 06:17:51 PM
You all must have heard about the Amepay project. There was an IEO in the BKEX exchange and after that IEO team announced: $AME IEO ends at 84.56 million USDT demand for 1 million USDT AME tokens. They are already listed in CMC and you can see their 24-hour volume is more than Five million seven hundred dollars. Isn't that too good for a new project and do you guys really think this project just started with a massive success with that IEO or it's done internally? Currently, deposit and withdraw is not allowed in BKEX and another listing in Bithumb Global is upcoming on 7 Jan.
CoinMarketCap shows that the price of the AME token is now $ 0.034 and it has increased by 2.58 percent today. The market capitalization of this token climbed to $ 52,044,241 with a trading volume of $ 5,812,467. So far, the indicators are good. It should be noted that AME tokens are paid to participants of bounty campaigns every week. This should not cause a sharp drop in the price of this token. However, let's see what happens after January 7th.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Season still possible? on: January 03, 2021, 08:32:35 AM
Even after XRP news about SEC haven't you guys noticed that XRP is still surging till now? It's recovering fast people, this is not enough to stop altcoin season from happening even if XRP goes down from here, dominance is high right now, I don't think altcoins can surge while bitcoin dominance is still very high
As long as the bullish rise in the price of Bitcoin continues, its dominance will grow. However, this process is cyclical. The time will come when the rise in the price of bitcoin stops and then the capital will flow from bitcoins to altcoins. We just need to wait for this period. Altcoin season is sure to come.
1930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market? Will NEVER HAPPEN because of tether printing. on: January 03, 2021, 08:10:59 AM
Ok, prove me wrong.

Here I state that a bear market, which is a prolongued (3 years +) correction of crypto prices, will never happen reason being the occasional bursts of tether issuing which is something nobody can police.

Add to this the fact greed never dies and stockmarket doesn't provide the gains todays young people demand: kids want adrenalin and lambos not fuckin retirement plan.
Correction of the rate will occur regularly, as investors need to fix their profits and because of this, any cryptocurrency periodically drops in price.
Stable coins, including tether, are very easy to destroy. For this, it is enough for states to recognize illegal the provision of their national currency with other financial assets that do not belong to this state. This is already done by the Chinese government with its yuan, including digital. If this happens, then only stable coins of states will remain in circulation.
1931  Economy / Economics / Re: The supply issue on: January 02, 2021, 07:45:23 AM
I'm seeing this particular topic on twitter today and it's got me a bit stumped. So I would like to ask my hero bitcoiners here for their advice:

If bitcoin's price and market cap continue to increase, and if a 2nd layer or off-network protocol allows people to subdivide their satoshis into smaller and smaller units, does the whole 21 million BTC supply cap even matter anymore?
Overall, you are right. Although the maximum number of bitcoins is limited to 21 million, there are one hundred million Satoshi in each bitcoin, which already have a decent value. That is, in fact, bitcoin monetary units are one hundred million times larger. After all, now, given the increasing cost of bitcoin, people will buy and are already buying not whole bitcoins, but a certain amount of satosh.
1932  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: January 02, 2021, 07:22:48 AM
Bitcoin is drastically high this time around due to large amounts of volume and usage globally

I think Op can be right about the devaluation of dollar having effect on the price of bitcoin. Dollar is a major converting currency for bitcoin and price or strength of dollar has been dropping either because of the fomo in the election, this is affecting the price of bitcoin as it is increasing since the beginning of the election and the direction of the results create more fear.
All state currencies have some annual inflation and it is included in their budgets every year. That is, the common currency of states is systematically and inevitably depreciating. This is used by governments to manipulate all kinds of social benefits so that the numbers remain the same or even increase, but in fact their volume has decreased. Therefore, not only bitcoin, but all promising decentralized cryptocurrencies should rise in value due to this process. This should come up strongly during the global economic crisis.
1933  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin ever succeed as a currency on: January 02, 2021, 07:03:10 AM
I will express an unpopular opinion - but BTC has not achieved any success as a currency. (Not to mention it TPS)
All this time and until now, the entire cryptocurrency has been solely as a gasket between the dollar and the user. After all, so smart people once decided to use BTC as money and shout about it everywhere, on every corner, but at the same time when they saying "Bitcoin" they mean "the number of dollars for 1 coin". In BTC, there is absolutely no sense in such a situation because it is a complication of life to yourself.
As a means of earning money through trade BTC is probably one of the best phenomena in the last 10-20 years, because of its exorbitant price.
But this price will not be eternal and it will not grow forever. If today my big mac costs $ 6 and tomorrow it will rise in price to $ 8 - this means that the day after tomorrow I will receive $ 2 more and in general it will suit me.
And if today big mac costs 0.00001 (conditionally) satoshi and tomorrow is already 2 BTC-then this is a reason to commit suicide or go into the wildest depression because all your savings are lost forever.
I agree with your opinion. Bitcoin has really become very famous now. However, only a small percentage of people own it in their wallets. However, even among those who bought bitcoin, very few use it as a means of payment. The infrastructure for this has not yet been developed, and besides, why use it to purchase goods or services, if in general it is constantly growing in price and making a profit.
However, indeed, it will not constantly increase in price. There will come a time when it will stop growing and it will be pointless to just keep it in the hope of profit. After that, the attitude towards bitcoin will change.
1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex delisting XMR, DASH and ZEC. Will this affect Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2021, 06:35:55 AM
Well, I thought only XRP was delisted on Binance but sad to know that there are also 9 altcoins that were delisted. I don't know what would be the effect of the bitcoin price but these privacy coins are not a big deal to bitcoin because there are too many altcoins that supposedly a replacement to them. Perhaps, my assumption is bitcoin price will pump up because those investors of that altcoin will surely move to bitcoin or either in ethereum which is a perfect move to them.
Regulation of cryptocurrencies by states will only intensify over time. Especially in this matter, the United States and its SEC stand out, which has already become the cause of many scandals with cryptocurrency. An attack on coins with a high degree of anonymity was inevitable. However, there will always be exchanges and states where Monero, ZCash, Dash and other anonymous coins will feel safe. Because there will always be a demand for these coins.
1935  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: January 02, 2021, 05:33:57 AM
For bitcoin to continue to rise in price, it needs to be bought at any price value. So let them buy. Of course, this kind of investment increases the risk. In my opinion, it is better to wait until bitcoin again goes to the price correction. I am sure that the profit in this case will be much greater than buying it at the current price.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: January 01, 2021, 06:25:28 PM
I am not a supporter of USDT, but I do admit that USDT is safe. I say so not without reason, because the only stablecoins that I often
use are USDT. And I have never been disappointed with USDT since I first used it in 2017, when I use it to save the profit I get when
trading crypto. And even now I use USDT to save some of the capital I have for trading, because USDT can avoid me from the volatile
crypto market.
Centralized and, moreover, non-state financial assets cannot be safe. What can happen to USDT is what happened to ripple. It was also considered secure with good functional characteristics as a means of payment. I do not want to say anything bad for USDT, I myself use this stablecoin, however, I think that stablecoins of states will still be more reliable.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of 2018 BTC aftermath on: January 01, 2021, 05:53:55 PM
Whatever happens, the main thing is not to give in to the hype. Despite even the record value of bitcoin. Making investments in cryptocurrency is only necessary by understanding all the risks. How many have already suffered from their own greed? It is better to calculate everything and stay in the black.
Bitcoin, as we can see, has risen at a record price of over $ 29,000. Probably, many are now wondering whether it is risky to buy bitcoin at such a high price now. In my opinion, the risk is really no longer worth it. At any time, bitcoin can go for a correction. Then it will be possible to buy it. Although in general we expect it to grow further this year, the cryptocurrency market is very unpredictable.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why XRP Crash? on: January 01, 2021, 05:21:37 PM
XRP is facing a huge problem. Problems experienced with SEC can't be overcome easily. This situation can destabilize them. If this problem is not resolved, it will negatively affect all cryptocurrency markets  Undecided

learn from the past, anything that will result in or deal with the SEC will ultimately be catastrophic. when the SEC declared and questioned Ripple's side, it was a bad sign. that in the future the value and all market demand for Ripple will plummet. At the same time, the Okex platform is instead creating events and collaborating with Ripple, while other platforms are doing the same to temporarily shut down the Ripple market until problems and allegations are resolved.
The problems that the Ripple network is currently having should not negatively impact any other cryptocurrencies. After all, the SEC has no claim to the issuance and circulation of XRP, but only to the first persons of this company who have made illegal financial transactions with this coin. The trial is likely to be long and is likely to end with the imposition of large sums of fines on those responsible. However, I can see that ripple is already growing slightly in price after a sharp drop to $ 0.19. Now its price is almost $ 0.25.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you trust social media influencers on cryptocurrencies. on: December 31, 2020, 10:36:33 PM
for me influencers can't easily say that bitcoin will go up, so they encourage their followers to join in and follow what he has to say. Remember that we are traders, where a trader has his own principles. If you only follow when the influencer brags, then what if the influencer is silent? is our trade also silent?
plus you say that "they are active when the market is bull and silent when the market is sluggish". How is it different today when the news on television finds out that bitcoin price has crossed $ 30.000 and is silent when bitcoin is priced at $ 10.000?
Influential persons are people like us. Cryptocurrency is still a new phenomenon in our life and we are all just gaining experience in it. The opinion of the so-called influencers can be heard, but this should not be a guide to action, but only as a recommendation of one of the members of this market. We ourselves must analyze the current situation in the cryptocurrency market and there should be no authorities in this.
1940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the power of HOLD and believe on: December 31, 2020, 09:18:53 PM
What I know is, Holding is the only way to go, especially for long-term holder making the real profit. Short term hold is not good, We all regrets who sold early and made little profit. I think smart traders hold bitcoin long term. All you gotta do buy the dip and hold, you will surely make a profit. I only wish I knew this before.
Long-term retention works for bitcoin so far, but we have no guarantee that this will continue for very long. For other cryptocurrencies, this works for top coins and very few tokens.
It should also be noted that from the point of view of the present time, it is easy to judge what needed to be done in the past. However, now, for example, we do not know whether Bitcoin will fall in price after such a long and high price increase or not. At the end of next year, of course, we will easily give advice on the current situation. Therefore, not everything is so simple.
