1921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people keep trying new casinos? on: January 11, 2018, 12:11:05 PM
A lot of threads in gambling section are basically dedicated to scam accusations. They can be seen every day on the first page. The casinos about which people complain are usually new or known to be scamming people (one can easily check out the trust of members leading the respective ann threads to be assured in that). I don't understand why people deposit money onto new casinos and then complain that they scammed these people. I mean, there are lots of very trusted casinos offering a wide range of games, so why not to keep playing at them rather than some unknown risky ones?
Probably they thought the luck they could not get in winning from the first casino, they will be able to find that luck in the new one until they realize it is the same thing and then move to the other ones until they get frustrated. Like you said, there are so many trusted casinos, but even the trusted ones are out to still get most of what you are holding anyway, so what is the point eventually ?
1922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to be a Bitcoin Millionaire?! on: January 11, 2018, 08:48:00 AM
What question is that? Me, You, They, basically everybody wants to be a millionaire. Since bitcoin is popular now, so becoming a bitcoin millionaire is an option. Having a big power on our financial is the best feeling to happen in the world, You can do almost all things with it, good thing, and even bad things with it.
But to make millions from bitcoin is kinda hard now. Because the price is already too high to buy, and i am regretting my past self that did not buy bitcoin when the price is still low. But i will still try this for now. And i will try hard for it. Because if you already make a decision, keep doing it hard until it gives you a result. And i hope someday, me, you, everybody can be a bitcoin millionaire, someday. And that someday maybe is not far away. because in my opinion, bitcoin price will rise higher in the end of this year, maybe will increases beyond 8000 usd.
Of course everybody here in this forum wants to be a millionaire. Obviously, me and you, her/him, especially them, we are all here hoping to gain more profit and want to be a wealthy person. But initially, we have to work for it, be patient in all the things specially when there's an ups and downs of the price, dont cut your hope. But I just hate the fact that everyone wants to be a millionare but only few works on it.
I think many individuals and mainly unemployed people's now have huge profits out of bitcoins and bitcoins help them to secure their financial condition. That is really a good thing. Everyone can become a millionaire with bitcoins but securing the current financial situation really helps a lot to many individuals here along with university students. Most of the people's now earn a good income with bitcoins.
1923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: January 11, 2018, 08:15:39 AM
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

It was because he is very reckless. We all know that a big amount of bitcoin should be stored in cold storages to ensure that your profits will be kept safe. Or, he should have started withdrawing his money by the year 2016.
Actually 103 bitcoins that time was not such  a huge amount and he would have taken it lightly about saving his bitcoins in cold storage or paper wallet. Restlessness affects a lot in our learning history but I can understand his situation that time. That time, 103 bitcoins would not be above $1000 I guess.

Even $1000 was too big for 103 bitcoins to achieve to. Price for bitcoins has raised much more above in last some years and until 2011 it was unknown to many of us.
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the benefits of bitcoin? on: January 11, 2018, 07:43:37 AM
benefits very much.
provide good jobs without us getting out of the house.
can reduce the poverty rate.
allowing the poor to become millionaires.
with adaya bitcoin dream of a person who is not poor can be a reality .
Yes, bitcoins play a vital role in helping balance my financial condition and due to them, I can now afford to pay for all of my needs. I think, bitcoin have really done a great job for me and I will keep investing in bitcoins to be a successful person in upcoming future. Most important benefit of bitcoins is that it gives us various opportunities to earn a better live with no investment, just some basic knowledge and learning skills.
1925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it the end...? on: January 10, 2018, 06:21:33 PM
I am not sure if any of altcoins can assassinate bitcoin but undoubtedly ripple is market is currently riding like horse, market capitalisation is very high and i can barely see ripple dominatinting all other altcoins according to trade volume. RIn fact, rpple coin's dominance will not affect bitcoin market but other altcoins may get decreased definitely if people move to ripple
That is what they want you think. Oh! Ripple is riding like a horse, checkout the market cap within just few weeks and the rate at which it is going, and probably it is going to be overtaking bitcoin. And what if it does, you think anybody cares about market cap with the real history or rather the essence at which ripple was created and all the devs are holding. I would rather buy trumpcoin than buying ripple.
1926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 10, 2018, 08:39:12 AM
It wont drop that much, it has already been going down for the last days but it seems that now it really wants to keep going up, so yes, if you are going to invest soon, do it right now that the price is almost going to go up soon.

Bitcoin will not drop anymore this was a chance given to all to buy as much as they can because some investors were complaining that bitcoin get rise worth so much shoot that they didn’t bought now this was for them and from now on bitcoin has no reason to fall community is already holding coins for the bigger value to come in price board and I think now prices will go up to give those people relief who are waiting.
Everyone has been given a chance to do Christmas and new year shopping to hold some bitcoin at a very good value and unless the market is nice enough to still come back lower again, some people will wish later on in the future that they wished they had gotten some bitcoin for just this present value and that is the reason we have seen a lot of people who have been wishing for months now that bitcoin would get to $30000.
1927  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: January 10, 2018, 07:31:05 AM
Most of the experts assuming it's highest as 25k when the supply is over and it's gonna finally stabilize.
Let's see how correct all the claimed experts end up to be. A lot of experts have predicted a lot in the past which for now seems they ended up wrong. Stabilization is something we may not be seeing anytime soon for now, but I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I am not very sure how this would end up for the market, but I am still very optimistic that bitcoin still have a long way to go in 2018.
1928  Economy / Speculation / Re: A stable Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 06:26:04 AM
it could go sideways for a couple years but it  would probably be at around 6K or 8K and not 15K. The sideways action is fueled by being in a bear market and were not in a bear market at 15K. Bitcoin will not trade like a real currency - the tx fees are too high. Since silk road went down it has never been and never will be a currency. It is a gambling game where coinbase bitfinex, poloniexx, and bittrex are the biggest tables.
Hmm. I guess we will have to see how this goes in the next few days. Having bitcoin at around that value does not seem like something that would even happen anytime soon. Yes, we may see most of the big exchanges are the biggest tables, but one thing I am pretty sure is that, if the protocol is truly worked on and the LN solving the scaling problem, the whole currency idea of bitcoin would become realistic.
1929  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: January 09, 2018, 03:07:24 PM
There are a lot of things to be consider in starting a business. First you should know the types of business plan if that business you wanted to hve is big. You should do the feasibility study, concept plan, business plan and the project proposal. Those types of business plan has its own components before you can conclude that exact or perfect businessyou wanted to have. The most important is you should aask yourself are you really ready to open up with business. Also do you have exact amount for your capital.
So many things and while a lot of people get themselves limited due to the fact that they do not have all the information to know the right thing to do at the right time to get on moving, they end getting to mess things up instead until they realize that they still have a lot to learn.

This stuff that the OP shared is simply something that can really be of help for those who are starting a business to know some of the things they really need to touch while doing their stuff.
1930  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: January 09, 2018, 02:23:50 PM

This question has been asked many times in the forum and my answer to it seems to be intact .
Bitcoin will not halt the banks of the world . Bitcoin is still a virtual object and  there is still need to convert it into our own fiat for its use for us . No country is ever going to dump their fiat and accept bitcoin in its place . Both the currencies will work simultaneously and so the banks will never be affected by it . There will be some level of updates in the functioning of banks due to introduction of bitcoin , but that would not totally change their systems .
I do not even see how the dumping of fiat like you said for cryptocurrency would be something that we will ever see.

Yeah, cryptos will become widely used at a good point, but that would still be limited somehow as we know some people will not even have access to it and some would prefer to go the fiat way. However, no one knows the future as anything can happen, but I feel banks’ being totally discarded for crypto is something that would be very hard to see.
1931  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: January 09, 2018, 08:55:16 AM
With the number of users increasing rapidly, then the biggest threat to the traditional financial system is cryptocurrency, I'm sure it will be difficult to stop cryptocurrency because everyone supports it.

Many find crypto much efficient especially fir international transaction and in fast transaction other than with bank helps or regular fiats like in using in huge amount transactions ,btc or those crypto than uses specifically to ease transactions were indeed helpful.
In fact, what brought me into the cryptocurrency space was the fact that I could make international transactions easily without the limitations placed by my country and since then I have never had any issue with this and this is one reason I cannot stop being a real believer of bitcoin no matter what.

Cryptocurrencies really have the potential to overtake fiat and as people keep seeing the huge importance of crypto over fiat, they will gradually start moving into crypto.
1932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: January 09, 2018, 06:04:13 AM
If you don't plan to trade it would be best to keep your coins in a waller rather than an exchange.
Yes, what is the point giving a third party a control over your funds when you really do not have plans to trade it anyway. What everyone have said is totally right, use an exchange only if you know you want to buy some alts, and as long as you are not going to be trading, just keep off totally.

A lot of people have lost their funds by keeping their funds in exchange wallet and to be forewarned is to be forearmed.
1933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Road to 0.1 btc on: January 08, 2018, 04:28:11 PM
You should look for trends and important dates regarding the currencies you are interested in. It will give you a huge upside in knowing where and when to put your investment. Using technical analysis to see patterns in a currency's movement is also quite useful.
I have made 1100% return in the past 3 weeks without being involved in heavy bullruns on Verge and Ripple.
Trends is one way I have been able to increase the little I had into so much although you have to know some little bit of trading to be able to achieve that. Buying into the right coins and watching them grow can never be sweeter.

I have seen most of my investments got so high than I would normally have imagined within just few days and that is how cool it can be as the little you have now can actually get huge with some little bit of patience.
1934  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: January 07, 2018, 06:40:51 AM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.

It will depend upon the country because at the moment there are countries that really ban bitcoin but they are only few compare to the large numbers of countries that welcome and adopt bitcoin then regulated it to ensure that bitcoin will not be use in illegal activities in their country. So i suggest that you state the name of the country in which you where belong so that we could determine your country's stand against bitcoin.
Yeah, the few countries that are even banning bitcoin right now are quite few and that is because of the kind of governmental structure that they have and whatever they decide to do will really not have much impact on bitcoin as a whole but even show them that this is a war they cannot win.

Banning bitcoin is not something that can easily be achieved, because in most democratized countries, on what ground do they want to declare it illegal ?
1935  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: January 07, 2018, 04:35:18 AM
2018 will be the year of other new altcoins, you haven't even heard of. Because of the crypto mania people and inventors are so invested in crypto mania, altcoin market will be as new alts with new solutions to new and old problems keep coming up. This is the reason there will even substantial growth in crypto market. But a side note, DASH is one currency to keep an eye on because of decision making model.
Apparently, as well as year when the altcoins of 2017 with prospects are going to start growing and at least trying to find a good spot in the market and when some of the investors are really going to be smiling. Dash is not just the only currency to keep an eye on, because at this stage it is really going to be more like survival of the fittest and so many coins are really going to get tried a little bit. I guess we have to wait and see.
1936  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 06, 2018, 02:17:14 PM
If I am not mistaken, Bitcoin had been popular nowadays that it used to be before. A lot of people often hear about Bitcoin but do not acknowledge it for they stick with disperse misconceptions. Whether it will bring good or negative impact to the world, a country and human culture if ever recognized by everyone is yet unknown.

If it happen to be recognized by everyone, it can be used to a lot of good things that would bring benefits to people but, as well as illegal deeds. Money laundering, robbery, empowering of block market and conflicts with the banks as well as to the government.
You are not mistaken bro. We cannot even compare the level of awareness of today to few years ago and even at the beginning of last year. Lately in my country, there is just nowhere that I go to that I do not end up seeing someone who already knows about bitcoin and I would be like, for real ?

Times are changing, bitcoin is gaining huge popularity and so many people are seeing it as a chance to get in on a good thing and I am sure this year is going to be a huge one for bitcoin.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the Ethereum Age on: January 06, 2018, 01:16:14 PM
I like Eth and I feel it will be strong in 2018 but we have to remember without btc being strong no other alt coin can truly be strong. Eth should hopefully see 2-3k during this year. It will be a interesting year to see how governments, banks etc adapt or try and stop the strength in cryptocurrency.
ETH will be strong and so are other altcoins in the market right now. We will see a huge boom this year and while some will do well, some will not.

However, this would not make bitcoin to be displaced as I am sure even bitcoin's protocol will be developed more and get better which would make investors to even increase the more into bitcoin, but we just have to wait and see.

Ethereum Age is something that is hugely exaggerated and impossible. I am sure Ethereum will have a very good growth in this year but I am not expecting Ethereum to end up beating bitcoin to it. This may the age of ICOs quite alright and we will get to see the Ethereum platform being used hugely, but I do not see how that would cause bitcoin to enter the drain or get stepped down.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 06, 2018, 11:31:17 AM
very likely, it just takes a while. because I think ethereum technology is superior to bitcoin. but bitcoin is the mother of crypto currency. so now all crypto currencies are under it. but we do not know 5 or 10 years ahead. which crypto will be the master of crypto currency.
Maybe we just wait and see how superior ETH technology is to bitcoin. These are two different projects and I do not see why because of that ETH would take over. Have you also taken the time to read about the lightening network, probabaly if you do, you will have more reason to believe that this is a game no altcoin can win at the end of the day as bitcoin have more advantages over all the alts?
1939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: January 06, 2018, 04:37:36 AM
Many people here are asking "How gambling can benefits us by winning" on it using strategy like Martingale, or pure luck when we are playing DICE?

It has already been proved by more than 1000 times that the martingale is a fake, only a few persons can really make profit using that strategy.

And believe me, it is pretty hard to apply that strategy/trick in order to earn money, because you do not know when are you really going to fail.

Be careful, and if you are just going to simple gamble, just do it by the normal way.

It's not a fake and it actually works. To be honest it works but it assumes two impossible things, which is having unlimited bankroll and the casino allows any amount of bet. Which are both unrealistic so martin gale is impossible to pull off.
You are right, it is totally impossible to pull off. It would have been fake if it does not work at all, or if there is no possibility of seeing long streaks of losses, but as far as online casinos are concerned, the long streaks have been fashioned into the system and no matter the huge bank roll you have, who knows, it starts from just one person, and probably that would be the first time we may end up seeing 1000 streaks of red.
1940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: January 05, 2018, 06:14:44 PM
I think it's still very profitable. All we need to do is research the altcoin we want to invest and don't forget to read whitepaper carefully.
Picking the right coin usually helps when you want to hold. However, if you are planning to trade, as long as you are good, it can be highly profitable when you are even combining it with the holding. I have made so much from trading just within months that I started trading crypto and I see it as a huge ground of opportunity.

The most important thing is not to see it as a gambling ground, know what you are doing, learn if you do not, and practice gradually to get better.
