As with most concepts, the theory is good, the reality isn't. Water is the mortal enemy of these units. In an industrial setting, this concept is totally impractical and down right fatal to the business if one mistake causes water to get everywhere. Every board that gets touched with water is bricked and your investment is down the toilet. Air flow is how these units were meant to operate.
This is a false claim. Water cooling is safe when you know how to do it properly. In Russia they are actually taking advantage of the heat produced by miners, and they have built water cooled Bitfury-based miner (Sunrise series). So those miners are not only mining btc, but also working as 'water boilers'. See RMC (Russian Miner Coin) for more information about that case. They have some pictures of the water cooling builds at their Facebook page.

I paid 10k USD for my unit and now they offer the price 3k..
What. The. Fuck?
No compesation what so ever, even though I even asked if they could provide one..
They really are not thinking long distance, when it comes to the customer relationships.

Hey Hags, you wouldnt happen to know who GLS works with in the states do you?
No, sorry. Here at the front page is a map where you can see GLS partners in Europe countries https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/homeIf I had to guess, they could use the USPS in the US.

Can you confirm that it is a legit webshop? I can't see any link at Bitfury's official website www.bitfury.com

You are suppose to put your own user credentials. It should be your bitcoin wallet address as a username, or your Kano.is username if you are registered at the pool website. Instead you decided to put Kano's user credentials (in that picture your username is Kano.worker). You might want to know what you are doing before doing anything.

Like HagssFIN says, an eBay listing for this item neither proves nor disproves anything. It’s an image from the website that anyone has access too, and the seller clearly states that their 20 units are on order only. If it turns out to be a Scam, the seller will have to refund the money.
The only thing that will add to the legitimacy of the project at this time will be an independent review. It’s just a shame no one on this forum is able (or willing) to provide one.
Ask voskcoin to do a review Me, Dabs and Philipma1957 have already mentioned that any of us would be ready to co-op with them and do a thorough, honest review for the DragonMint miner. They (Halong Mining) haven't yet worked together with any of us. And after a long time we are still waiting for promojo's review. He has reported that he has a demo unit. I wonder if he will publish it some day or not..

Please notice that if you do a group buy and gets those ten Ebits first shipped to Finland before sending them to participants, you will need to pay the 24% VAT for the whole order.
So as the price is already quite high, it will be even higher after taxes. 1.24 times 4300 USD equals 5332 USD.
I just think that Ebang put a too high price for their new hardware.

Yes that basically click baited me here. "The fuck is a T3". Very efficient way to attract people here to participate discussions.
|
|
|
Yes. So maybe the T9+ model has something like 159 chips..
@btc-haze Thanks for the information! Btw, can you fix the thread title? I guess you meant to wrote 'T9+' instead of the 'T3+'?

Antminer T9 Hash Rate: 11.5TH/s ±7% Power Consumption: 1450W ±7% Antminer T9+ Hash Rate: 10.5TH/s ±5% Power Consumption: 1432W ±7% I'm not getting the new name, T9+. Since the hash rate is actually lower than before, and also the power efficiency is slightly worse than before. Maybe some updated changes in the miner design? I presume that there are less amount BM1387 chips in the T9+ design.
