Yes you can use it with the D3.
The only difference between those two is the number of PCI-E power cables..

The S9 is still going to need a certain level of cooling, I don't think that you can get the noise down with the Sanyo fans.
I simply introduced a good quality replacement fan when people were asking about one to replace a faulty fan.

Fans are not the biggest problem for the howling noise with the L3+.
It's mostly because of the heat sink setup.
I would stick with the stock fans.

In EU area you usually only need to pay the VAT tax for the mining hardware.
For example Germany VAT is 19%, Finland VAT is 24%.. (yikes).
My D3 went smoothly through Finnish customs, I got it from Fedex and it has been now mining since Wednesday afternoon.
I'm mining DASH at the moment because I believe that the price of DASH will rise.
It's up to you how you mine.

I had one hash board dropping off with a row full of x's in the ASIC status, but luckily I only needed a reboot. Almost had a heart attack  So far I'm really satisfied with the D3. Hash rate is greater than originally advertised and the power consumption is lower than originally advertised. |

How are you only reacting this things AFTER you have bought the miner?  This wonders me the most. I may be drunk at the moment but I must say that this is one of the most stupid things in mining scheme. Reacting for things only after the purchase. |

Anybody know of a reliable source of S9 replacement parts? I've got a couple dead fans and BITMAIN seems to be out of stock at the moment.

Just wanted to inform EVERYONE that miners S9, L3+, D3 in ready stock ARE sold in China for S9 less than 2000$ L3+ less than 3000$, D3 less than 7000$.
Thank you very much bitmain for letting us all buy 2 months ago what is everywhere on the market for same price today.
Bravo Bitmain and thank you for beeing so honnest and respectful for all your customers.
Do you have some proof info for that statement? I'm not saying that that would surprise me much though. |
