It was up for a good while, but yes, it seems like it is offline again.  Undecided

Some major issues there, hopefully they can fix those away soon.

EDIT: The website is working ok again: www.pangolinminer.com

Block? CKPool app just said we found block 500096 was found by koelby.s93. Normally someone posts here quick but it has been a few minutes with no post about finding the block. Is the app right? Did we find a block?

Yes, block 500096 was found already 59h 18min ago.  Wink

Wow, the block reward and transaction fees are almost the same size with this one.  Shocked

Congratulations!
2044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A4+ Coming soon - Pre-order on: December 21, 2017, 12:11:46 PM
Hi, I am planning on getting the Innosilicon A4+. I was thinking of using a USB Dongle in the router to connect to the miner. I have a 3 GB plan. Would that much be enough for the entire month? Does it require more data than that?

I have tried a 3G connection via usb dongle connected to a router.

The connection was not stable enough, it cut off from time to time.

I don't recommend using that as a internet connection for mining hardware.
2045  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ebit e9 miner with 6.8Th/s from Ebang company a new rival for existing producers on: December 21, 2017, 11:37:00 AM
I have just ordered Ebit E9+ for 1295 USD shipped to EU with PSU, I will keep you updated when delivered

Did you contact Ebang via Skype? Or how did you order?

Their webshop is still a work in progress.

Are they taking orders for 'In Stock' deliveries?

Yes I have ordered via Sykpe, paid by DASH. I hope I not get scammed, but they say they will dispatch one unit with PSU next day by DHL for me, so total price was 1.245+35USD shipping = 1280 USD, thats fair price for 9TH/s, they also told me that it is only 850W

Lets see what will arrive. I will post review with pictures and order process.

That sounds fishy.

Who did you talk with?

I know, but it is skype "lynnnesnay" should be ok, it is on their website

Ok, interesting.  Smiley

I can confirm that she is Lynn indeed 100%, since I've bought hardware from her as well successfully.

2047  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Fan cooler? on: December 21, 2017, 03:11:54 AM
If I remember right, the Delta TFC1212DE uses reversed PWM signal.

In short, that is why it does not work with the Antminer S4 controller.

I think the easiest way for you would be to have another fan model.

In that guide, the cooling fan manufactured by Sanyo is a good one.  Wink
https://support.myrig.com/hc/en-us/articles/204199879-Antminer-S4-fan-specification-and-possible-replacement-fans

It is does not have reversed PWM signal.

I used to have that Sanyo as a cooling fan for my Avalon 6.0 back in the days I had that miner.

Very good quality fan.
2048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant on: December 21, 2017, 02:51:47 AM
Has anyone ordered from Baikal? I would like to hear your experience with both the company and their product.

Please see this that is clearly visible in this bitcoin hardware area:

There is already a thread for Baikal Giant in the altcoin section, go there..
2049  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Pangolinminer & Whatsminer FAQs on: December 20, 2017, 10:48:26 PM
Will there still be stock after pangolinminer hopefully comes back online?

Also has anyone ordered from whatsminer.net? I haven't received anything back about my wire transfer.

Pangolinminer official website is www.pangolinminer.com

I wouldn't trust any other website.

Their website is in maintenance mode at the moment.

They posted about it in Twitter.

Yes, you can mine any cryptocurrency that is based on the SHA-256 algorithm.

That's interesting, seems like the Ebit E10 series has a built-in power supply included.
2054  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: December 20, 2017, 10:12:39 AM
Sold out.. With that price?

Yes, people are just crazy in buying mining hardware at the moment.

The demand is much higher than the supply.
2055  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: December 20, 2017, 12:46:41 AM
@ikon31
I simply received the e-mail that you always receive when Bitmain delivers you order.

It is an e-mail message with title "BITMAIN Order Shipped" .
It includes the order invoice and Fedex tracking information.

same for me I got the email  and a fedex order notice email.

I would love to know when the earlier order will ship.
\

you lucky bastards

so your january batch shipped in December

why
I have absolutely no idea.

I have made no request for Bitmain.

I think it is not fair that they don't actually deliver all December batch miner before the January ones.

EDIT: This is now sold. Thread locked.

Hey by the way, this is the first time I notice that Canaan now has a two-year warranty for the mining hardware.

https://canaan.io/warranty/

Nice.

Not true, 90 days is all they give you on the miners.
Oh, yes. You are right.

I looked now at https://canaan.io/product/avalonminer-741/

I wonder what is that whole two-year warranty thing then?  Huh
2058  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ebit e9 miner with 6.8Th/s from Ebang company a new rival for existing producers on: December 19, 2017, 09:13:44 PM
Ebang has a new website, which is great, because they actually now have a proper web shop system.  Smiley

Ebang official website: http://miner.ebang.com.cn/

But they do have a pricing mistake at their website.

You can compare the Chinese and the English website,
and see that they have forgot to convert the RMB price to a USD price.

So, for example 6840 RMB price is actually about 1035 USD, not 6840 USD.
I quote this post again, so that the information about the current web shop situation is easily available at this page.

@digital$
These are the different delivery time batches they are selling at the moment.

Ebit E9 Plus 9Th/s

December 2017 delivery: http://miner.ebang.com.cn/goods-3.html
January 2018 delivery: http://miner.ebang.com.cn/goods-2.html
February 2018 delivery: http://miner.ebang.com.cn/goods-1.html

Please notice as I mentioned before, that the prices in USD are wrong at the moment.
I guess they will fix that soon, and do a proper RMB --> USD conversion.

It is kind of interesting to see that earlier batches are cheaper than later delivery batches.  Cheesy
