Just placed an order for two units shipped to the UK (Sarah M) used a 50sat/b fee through coinify. Hopefully it all goes through ok. Thanks guys
That is pretty low amount tx fee. Even my 137 sat/b tx fee was quite small, but I'm hoping it is gets confirmed in the next block or so. You can see the situation of the transactions in the mempool here https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/It's quite useful website, I use it quite commonly to check out the situation before sending a btc transaction. I now got my transaction confirmed at the block #497202

So in theory we can get a quieter 200cfm fan?
No, you can't quiet down this miner by changing a fan. Sorry. It produces a lot of heat and needs a high level of cooling.

Hello Everyone,
The normal temperature for whatsminer m3 is under 84 degree.
During Winter time, FANS rpm should be around 4,000
How about CFM value for each fan ? they must be close to 200 cfm I agree, if it is anything close to like the 6000rpm Delta fan model "QFR1212GHE", when it comes to the technical specifications. I tried to search for a data sheet for the KZ12038B012X fan, which the WhatsMiner has both in front and rear, but I was unable to find anything. Delta QFR1212GHE has a max airflow value of 210.4 CFM. https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/delta-electronics/QFR1212GHE-SP01/603-1165-ND/1850534

I will be sure to report here if I'll get forward with getting one demo unit for a review.
The latest information at the moment is that they are very limited with the prototype quantity.

We have currently a few issues with coinify. Please don't buy with BTC right now until we fixed the issue.
Doh, I just made an order for one mining set paying btc via Coinify, few minutes before I saw your post. Let's hope it goes through ok. As I appreciate Canaan hardware, I thought I buy one for a thorough review even though it is not the first time I own one A741. But it is my first time getting my hands on the Sorcerer PSU. And it is my first time buying from a distributor, so that experience can be documented in the review as well.

There is nothing else to do with the bad hash board than to go with the warranty repair procedure.

I agree, sorry guys.
12:00 UTC+1 time would be better way to indicate it.

As long as it is working properly, I see no reason to update to the most new firmware version.

Sale will start on 2th of december at 12AM UTC+1. Miners and Sets are limited to 2 pieces per customer. We have way to many requests from people who want to order large quantities and we want to give everyone the chance to get a miner. If you want to order more than 2 pieces, please contact us and ask for a bulk offer.
Was that not 25 minutes ago? They're still not available on the website. No. Learn the calendar and clock. It is not yet December 2 at 12AM UTC+1. Eleven hours to go before the sales time.

Honestly, that web page is just full of shit. It is recommended to only buy from the official Bitmain shop located in this web address: shop.bitmain.com

lol Sometimes it hurts to hear the truth.

Did any of you November 21-30 guys also get the shipping notice for the power supplies? I only got the shipping notice for miners, but nothing about power supplies yet..

If i order today, when can I expect my order to arrive?
I made it all the way to checkout but there is no mention of how long I'd have to wait.
It is quite clearly mentioned that January 21-31, 2018 delivery batch is for sale at the moment. See this screenshot that I took from the website shop.bitmain.comSee the red marking.

I would be careful.
The only official shop to buy WhatsMiner hardware is at Pangolinminer (manufacturer) web page: http://www.pangolinminer.comPangolinminer is not the manufacturer. They are a distributor. Bitewei/Whatsminer is the manufacturer.

If you are already going with the S9, no point to buy the S7 in my opinion.
There are only used secondhand S7 units available for example in this forum marketplace and Ebay.

You first need to have enough Bitcoin for your purchase.
Then you can exchange it to Bitcoin Cash (BCH) by using exchange like Bitfinex for example.
A good Bitcoin wallet that I use and I can recommend is Electrum.
A good BCH wallet that I use and I can recommend is Electron Cash.

I got a reply from Halong Mining (the DragonMint 16Th/s miner). They said that they don't have many prototypes around yet, but they see what they can do, so that I could buy one for a thorough review at the forum. Stay tuned. I'm eagerly waiting their next reply as I guess many of you are waiting too.
