Please see this for guidance:

Yeah, you can get like fifty spare part fans with that loss amount  Cheesy

But I'm glad to see the test results with the D3.
Looking good so far.  Smiley

Well when I asked to get my batch 1 miner little earlier in exchange to do a thorough review,  I got a no for answer.
"You are already going to have it as soon as possible".

But seems like somebody else has better relationship with Bitmain.

No, I'm not salty at all  Cheesy
2565  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hardware for BitCoin on: September 08, 2017, 08:00:09 PM
Joke: Yes I'm just as powerful as the S9.  Cool Just gimme paper and a pen, and I'll start hashing.

 Cheesy

Okay, if we talk seriously:
S9's are the most efficient but not easily available and failure rate is huge for some batches.
AvalonMiners are not the best with power efficiency but are rock solid. Second best availability at the moment.
Ebit E9 Plus are in the same category with power efficiency as Avalonminers. There is not much data for Ebit miner quality. Best availability at the moment.
2566  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who is currently selling miners? on: September 08, 2017, 07:37:30 PM
Then there is also Ebang with the Ebit E9 Plus.

That is a correct cable.

The left connector in the picture is Type F "schuko".

The right connector in the picture is C13.
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BitMain not delivering it's L3 batches as promised on: September 08, 2017, 06:23:40 PM
Well it's fine as long as soldering and all work are done properly with proper knowledge.

I use Prohashing.
2569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: BitMain not delivering it's L3 batches as promised on: September 08, 2017, 05:55:46 PM
I would still suggest using the breakout board and buy or make PCI-E power cables for it.

Just make sure that in the psu end you have the C13 connector.

And when it comes to the electrical wall socket connector, here is a lot of information and pictures of plugs to help you out

2571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 08, 2017, 03:07:48 PM
Follow the official repair guide carefully.

When it comes to inserting the tracking number in the repair ticket,
i's easier when you buy a prepaid shipping label for the package.

Bitmain shop is in maintenance mode, but I was able to find you the guide in Google webcache https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:b0e1O6KjwpgJ:https://shop.bitmain.com/workOrderGuide.htm
2572  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: legit bitcoin mining hardware company websites on: September 08, 2017, 02:57:50 PM
Dont forget to mention:

http://www.innosilicon.com/

Innosilicon does not offer bitcoin mining hardware ASIC hardware at the moment.

At the moment they only offer hardware for x11 algo and scrypt algo.
2573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 07, 2017, 06:44:17 PM
Is here someone who is not using a Bitmain PSU?

I am looking to replace one PSU until I get a new one from Bitmain warranty  Roll Eyes

Any ideas? I have no clues about PSUs other than Bitmains lol

I have rock solid experience with HP server power supplies.

Sidehack has a power supply kit including breakout board and 10x PCI-E power cables for sale for only 80 USD.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=940317.0

See the DPS1200 PSU Kit in that thread.

Antminer L3+ needs roughly 800W power.
This has enough power capacity in both 110-120V (max. 900W) and 220-240V (max. 1200W) mains voltage systems.
2574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: September 07, 2017, 04:42:04 PM
There are November batch L3+ miners available at www.eastshore.xyz in case somebody is interested to buy one with a premium cost price.
https://www.eastshore.xyz/shop/antminer-l3-litecoin-miner-250mh-for-scrypt-mining/

Then there is the group buy for the BW-L21 miner that user mindtrip is planning to do.
See his message: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2118409.msg21399034#msg21399034

And then there is also Innosilicon A4+ miner preorder going on, I don't know any specific details like delivery time and price.

Those are the scrypt miners option available at the moment, as far as I know.
2575  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: How to track power on: September 07, 2017, 04:34:04 PM
Best case is that you would have a dedicated distribution box for mining gear and a dedicated energy meter for that.

It is also possible to have multiple groups (one phase or three phase) measured with these DIN rail mounted energy meter for example
Search Google with words "schneider electric din rail energy meter" for example to get the picture what I mean.
2576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ANTMINER D3 - Has anyone purchased an Antminer D3 ? Dashcoin miner ???? on: September 07, 2017, 04:30:20 PM
It's not really that hard to find.....  goddamnit

As the very top sitcky post here in the BITCOIN area states: No posts about GPUs or altcoin mining here, use the correct sub-forums

Ask in the altcoin area and you will find folks who care and will help.

OK, so has anyone purchased a piece of HARDWARE named an Bitmain Antiner D3 ?
So you really are blind, but also stubborn.

This is a sticked thread at top of the bitcoin mining hardware section clearly saying "No posts about GPUs or altcoin mining here, use the correct sub-forums".
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2017600.0

Go to the altcoins sections Mining (altcoins).

There is already an existing thread for the D3, no need for you to create a new one.
2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon's A4 Dominator, 1.2W/Mhs 14nm ASIC and miner, open for Partners on: September 07, 2017, 07:36:55 AM
@HagssFIN I also bought an A5, what date did they give delivery? To me the 10-20 of October

November XX.

They didn't give me more specific date than that.
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can we use Antminer L3+ for Dash Mining? on: September 07, 2017, 07:35:52 AM
Please listen to more wise people and see this answer:

No.

You have a lot more learning to do when it comes to different algorithms and different miners.
2580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: (Review/Guide) BW.com BW-L21, 550 Mh/s, 950W Litecoin (scrypt) ASIC miner on: September 07, 2017, 07:29:04 AM
is there any group buy for EU?
See the page 2, post 37. I know at least that mindtrip is planning a group buy.

I think you guys have a huge possibility to reach the minimum 100 units quantity.
