1961  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain Name: Binance.Exchange on: April 19, 2020, 01:57:13 PM
We focus on the concurrence (many exchangers will be happy to redirect this domain name to their service), scammers can't afford to buy or spend all that money for it, they prefer to use a .com domain name combined with letters or just a sentence containing BINANCE on it.

This domain have an high value and represent well their brand.

We will sell for the first come bidder with a reasonable offer, otherwhise hodling this domain is just like hodling bitcoin Wink

Any serious exchange won't buy that domain for redirect purposes and that's not even legal in such business to use domain related to your competitor for getting traffic via misclicks and false information.

Imagine NyTimes bought domain washingtonpost.us and used it to redirect people to their website, what do you think is this fair and will it be left like that? It may be a huge attack on nytimes' reputation.
In any way that domain will be used by scammers cause either way redirect is scamming there too. And scammers can afford to buy that domain and even more, remember hashocean and etc, I guess that scammers were gone with million $$ and their website wasn't just bought template from themeforest.

Also there was an accident around exchanges where somehow happened and phishing domain was ranked higher than original domain in google that led to huge account leaks.
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: April 19, 2020, 01:28:43 PM
I do think Bitcoins is helping more than the government itself for a normal person , I am using my bitcoins selling them timely so that I can pay my rent and everything because jobs are all closed.
You are selling your bitcoins because you have collected/bought them in past, am I right? Yes. So if you had collected fiat in past, you would be able to pay your rent too. As easy as ABC.

The best way cryptocurrencies are helping us right now is that you are able to mine if you have a good GPU or asic miner. While staying at home you can mine crypto and earn money, you aren't abandoned, it's a huge benefit.

Otherwise saying that you were holding crypto and it's what saved you, isn't that right because in such situations it's 50/50 what will happen around price. You know everyone needs money and there is a chance people will have a will to sell their bitcoins as soon as possible and get money during quarantine and as a result it will drop price a lot. But on another hand people may stick with it and see bitcoin as a real escape during such situations. You can't bet your future on things like this.

And bonus+
Cryptocurrencies offered us blockchain, don't forget that there are high paying jobs in this niche and you can work online. Knowledge = power.
1963  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: April 18, 2020, 11:55:56 PM
That's not what "decentralized" means. Decentralized means that nobody controls it. Communism is based on a centralized economy. Capitalism is decentralized.
I would say that Capitalism is centralized by rich people. You need capital to enter market but at the same time on market there are so giant players, they can dive you deep if they wish. See: THESE 10 COMPANIES CONTROL EVERYTHING YOU BUY
Communism is better for poor and average people but of course you need a good management in government for that. It has it's pros and cons, a lot of old people from post soviet countries would say that they had better life in past but huge disadvantage of this was that they wouldn't show you what was happening around the world, communism is like a living in closed area.
But capitalism that exists nowadays, has developed more likely as invincible monopoly where companies with biggest capitals (richest and stronges companies like amazon, walmart, google, facebook and etc) control what you buy, when you buy, what you write/think and etc. Problem here is that along government, there are companies run by non government people whom have huge control on us.
1964  Other / Meta / Re: Domain name update on: April 17, 2020, 11:26:26 PM
Under user's avatar, there is: News: Latest Bitcoin Core Release: <-- Will download url be changed with bitcointalk.org instead of bitcoin.org ?
I think this domain related update must be on top of website for a while to inform all users.
What you did is a little bit perplexing for users: Which website should I trust to download bitcoin core, Bitcointalk Or Bitcoin.org ?
I ask this because you even said (what if won't be? What further actions will be taken from you?):
Quote
I'd assume that the same will be true of bitcoin.org.

Ahh, I thought I would make an offer...

1965  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that Freebitco.in game is not provably fair. on: April 17, 2020, 10:58:52 PM
What's the problem? Though it's definitely in the 'unlucky' side, losing 13 times in a row is definitely a possibility. It's not like the possibility of you winning the gamble goes up after every loss.

Also, with freebitco.in, the possibility of you winning a x2 multiplier is 47.50% not 50%.

not quite, i have had more rounds today, i lost 10 times on another round , but i won 1 times and recovered my lost satoshi, say wathever u say this is not a provably fair game... also a friend played some months ago and he lost 17 times in a round, for y'all if you dont want to risk your satoshi, dont bet on this website.
In most online casinos, including crypto and non crypto casinos, games are provably fair. The mistake that players always make is that they ignore the fact that house edge has power there and they can't go against mathematics rules when you play with numbers.
Always win on long term is on casinos's side, games have house edge because to keep casinos running their business and getting profit from it. Without house edge, casinos would go bankrupt.
You also miss one fact, the provably fair games aren't tracking your previous bets and think, oh this man has done bet 15 times and now it's time to win. New bet = new story written on new paper where your old data doesn't even exist.

And if anyone wants to play dice, logically they should look for other websites where dice is their main target and offer dozens of promotions around it along with 1% house edge.
1966  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 16, 2020, 11:28:03 PM
As we see everyday many people are dying every day in Europe and America and their economy is going down every day and economy specialties are guessing that the USA will lose his position as economy king and china will take over and we are already seeing that china economy didn't drop much and there already making money in this crisis.
No man, no. Current situation around the world isn't good for China too and also we don't know whether information provided by China is 100% real or not and you know it's pretty common for communist countries to hide reality (remember hidden of facts around the Chernobyl accident and other soviet stories).
China is the world's largest exporter of goods. Since  there is a deep recessions in USA, Europe and in overall around the world, who will export from China? No one because there is no time of it. China exports smartphones, computers and etc, so export from China will fall a lot. But at the same time China is the biggest importer, takes second place in it, below to USA. In any way import/export will decline for China, especially when USA doesn't like them and world saw this threat from China, so more likely USA/Europe will unite against China and there will be a plan to move factories from it to their countries but to still keep near to Chinese prices. For this they may move factories not in their countries but in countries where workers are cheap like India, Turkey and etc.
Well, to sum up, World will try to recover from economy crisis and get rid of any kind of dependence on China, thus will destroy Chinese economy.
1967  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Amazon is greedy very greedy on: April 16, 2020, 10:16:52 PM
It's really very shady movement from amazon, especially now when Jeff Bezos adds $24bn to his fortune.
When online sales are growing rapidly and amazon's staff saw it themselves, how profit was rising, they decided to cut down money that will be spend on affiliates.
Right now a lot of TV channels advertise amazon because of various reasons (online shopping news, amazon related news like profit growth and etc) which is additional free marketing for them. Seems they are seeing huge increase in sales from their website and now want to cut down fees for it's affiliate members to weaken their positions and probably they think customers of those websites will use amazon directly (with the help of free news related ads from TVs).

I think such behavior should be punished, amazon is killing other online businesses that demand on it and killing online business now, when world moved on online services is shady.
1968  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Web Developers Union on: April 06, 2020, 02:40:39 PM
At first when I read the title, I thought OP was going to form a team of professional bitcoin web developers who would work on bitcoin and crypto related plugins, themes, payment gateways and etc.

Well, OP, the amount of money you think is low, seems pretty huge for some people who live in poor countries. If for example someone wants to create website in poor countries and developers may ask for thousands, they will lose customers and no one will order from them. So to gain customers, they need prices that's normal for their country. If developer earns 2$ a hour, that may be good in some countries. I have seen one kid (15 years old) who was coding websites (from psd) into html/css and was doing it 100x better than others and he was coding very hard designs, believe it or not, he was doing it for 10$ (main page, single page and contact forms). And he was happy with it. While someone would ask for 100$, he was doing it for 10$. 10x lower price and very high quality.

We can't have standard prices in a world when there are poor countries. Why apple is manufactured in china? Because in this country there are cheap workers.

Evolution gaming was expanding their studio in Georgia, they were employeeing tens of dealers daily and opening new tables daily because workers are very cheap, employees were doing their job very well and evolution was selling tables with the same price as any other tables.

You can't change this world easily.
1969  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 05, 2020, 07:41:15 PM
As you know USA didn't like the way China was acting, their power was growing in USA. So for this reason they set some sanctions on China, arrested Huawei's finance chief Meng Wanzhou. Of course China wouldn't remain quiet and wouldn't offer another slap on second cheek, so they decided to push back harder but not directly and visibly. So they may decided to use biological weapon and create virus, firstly in their country to act like an innocent child. To spread virus easily and quickly, they made it very contagious but not as dangerous as swine flu and ebola. For Chinas' population, the damage they did to themselves is nothing and with strict rules and actions, they finally closed the door for virus spread

i'm surprised so many people believe the biological warfare conspiracy theory. infectious disease and military experts in the USA have already ruled it out. not only is the coronavirus not lab created, but it's apparently considered a bad candidate for a biological weapon.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/conspiracy-theorists-study-concludes-covid-19-laboratory-construct/story?id=69827832
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/defense-national-security/fears-of-biological-warfare-linger-while-experts-say-coronaviruses-cannot-be-controlled

it may seem like china beat the outbreak but they are putting lockdowns back in place as we speak for fear of a second wave. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/01/chinese-county-coronavirus-lockdown-second-wave-159615
Conspiracy theories will always exist and especialy now regarding to this virus when technologies are on another level. I don't care what US says about conspiracy theories right now, I don't believe in their words.
Remeber poisoning of Sergei and Yulia skripal via biological weapon, you know visible public demonstrations don't show full potential of their power, full potential is when it's done massively and behind shadows.
1970  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoNewsNet on: April 02, 2020, 12:31:03 AM
It's not what you are going to do, it's what you actually do <-- This is my answer to your first post.
You can't get customers at first and then run a business. You have to offer them ready product/service and then attract.
Establish your business at first and then make it public, don't give us promises that you know that can't even achieve and only dream about.

Also there is no need to think about profit from the very first day, of course it should be your aim if it's business but at first do some job, money won't come out of thin air. Be interesting for advertisers...

Also don't even think that you'll get any customer by saying that you are going to donate money collected from affiliate program. No, as I said already, do real job, don't just throw promises.

To spread virus easily and quickly, they made it very contagious but not as dangerous as swine flu and ebola. For Chinas' population, the damage they did to themselves is nothing and with strict rules and actions, they finally closed the door for virus spread (maybe they had antidote since it's their virus and strategy) but since details of this virus become available later, with the help of increased contagious that virus carries, they attacked Europe and USA (while China's neighbour countries aren't affected seriously). Current shutdown of everything in Europe and USA is making economic situation horrible, why not to repeat The Great Depression again and fall USA into economic crisis for upcoming 10 and more years? It sounds good to act like an innocent among world's eye and push USA harder.

That's not even impossible to build hospital in 3 days, even on youtube there are a lot of videos where you can see that Chinese people build skyscrapers in 1-2 weeks.

Even if China has antidote, it will be very silly step to make it public, then everyone will blame you of course but if you do it later, for example after 6 months, then you may become Hero for other countries.

P.S. My post is just hypothesis.

1973  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Covid19.insure - your opinions? on: March 31, 2020, 04:00:51 PM
I don't know whether this is scam promote or not but just in overall, don't trust such websites. From the perspective of scams, current situation is good to launch scam fund rising projects and collect some money because of kind people that may become victim of it.
So people have to realize that they must ignore every random website, use only official fund rising channels if you really want to help.
For this, check local services... For example in my country Glovo and Visa united and money payed for delivery will be doubled and donated to those who need free food and some other basic needs.
So check, there will be a lot of services with similar donations, you'll bemefit yourself and also benefit others too.
1974  Economy / Gambling / Dear live casino players - please read on: March 23, 2020, 01:21:30 PM
Hello everyone!
First of all I want to mention that there isn't good situation around the world, a lot of stores are closing and etc.
So a lot of people are staying at home and to be fair number of players have increased on Evolution Gaming's tables.
Our studio in Geogia is closing for a while that mans dozens of tables are closed, including dedicted tables (pokerstars, betson and etc).
But still some of our studios are functioning and number of tables will be limited.
Don't be afraid if you see only some of Evolution Gaming's tables.
Good luck everyone...
1975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opera now lets US users buy crypto with Apple Pay or debit card on: March 18, 2020, 08:13:24 PM
It's a very wise decision for both, commercial purposes and massive crypto adoption. Samsung did great when they decided to offer built in blockchain wallet but more likely that would be limited to samsung's devices but the reason Opera's decision was most wise is that this browser is very popular, is available on windows/linux/mac, on all android and ios devices. This is huge advantage there to have access on your crypto wallet via your browser on smartphone and on any device you carry but of course it has some risks, you have to keep security on high level (everyone should take security on high level in any way).
Very good step in overall and great decision from Opera's team, this is serious signal and will not only boost bitcoin's adoption but also will play great role in bitcoin's history. I guess if opera does this, firefox may follow it and possible chrome too but since this last one is owned by google, they may just ignore this fact.
1976  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My experience with Bitluck - The most profitable cloud mining company on: March 18, 2020, 06:33:07 PM
It's hard to trust cloud mining nowadays when all the other top cloud mining sites scammed people in the past, we don;'t know if you are part of the team or just paid to promote or shill this cloud mining sites, I don't go to take the risk and invite people to do the same, if you really invest post your payment your payout and your plan, this is just coated words.

I don't have nothing to do with the company. I just couldn't find a post about this site on this forum, so thought that why not share. Ofcourse, I would love to share the proofs. Here are the screenshots of my contracts and payment proofs:

Oh this is what I was looking for, then I'll invest in it without doubt (I'll get instant loan cause every second matters in such cases). Thank you man!
Can you at least state those 12 countries where you have data centers? Also as website claims they are under 24 hour video monitoring, so let's make this monitoring available for everyone to be sure that you are real.
This was the most hilarious and worst sentence: We have enough gigawatts to make you rich. <-- but still your brain is left without chance to scam others.
Cmon, don't promote scam projects, it's very unethical, treat others as you want to be treated. I hugely doubt you want to become a victim of theft, so you know...

1977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: March 18, 2020, 05:11:28 PM
Dow jones just ended the longest bull run in history which turned into the fastest run into a bear market (18 days) since 1931.
Crypto is also experiencing a major hit with blood red numbers all over.

It is obvious that Corona is the reason behind it (with a extra spark from the oil turbulence this monday)
The world i going into panic mode with flights cancelled from Europe to the US, Italy in lock down, social gatherings stopped in a number of countries.

Read in a previous thread "Do not blame Corona", how could you not?
What other drivers would that be?

I do not see this being over soon, the question is if the financial and crypto market already included that in the current price levels or if we will continue to freefall?
Yes, Do Not Blame Corona, blame people's panic mode. I have no idea what these people are going to do. This is insane and very shameful, very, very shameful. People buy dozens of things from supermarkets and act like they have to close their doors for 1-2 months and don't go out, just eat to live at home.
Corona isn't that dangerous, it doesn't cause immediate shock, seizures, death and etc, so don't be so afraid and if you are healthy young don't close door forever.
We don't have to be in stuck at home and stop economy, this will be fatal, I think we don't need another great depression. There is no need of so huge panic.

Drop will continue because people stop economy and even boost it's fall because of their stupid behaviors.
1978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Security in Crypto Matters? on: March 17, 2020, 08:53:15 PM
When we talk about holding bitcoins yourself and holding bitcoins on exchanges, I want to say something about that.
First of all there are two types of people:
1. Who can take responsibility and take care of their bitcoins
2. Who can't take responsibility and blame others in case their bitcoins get lost (exchanges).
First type of people know that security matters and they value it while second type of people - no, they want security but don't value it and risk.

My strategy to secure bitcoins is that I create another secure (let's call it places) and all of these place contains my keys and etc. But it's not like ABC, they are still more secured and these are the things that only I know.
1979  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: March 17, 2020, 08:02:46 PM
World economy wouldn't benefit by the way op states here. It's also very hard tasks and requires tons of discussion. At some point I agree with you, we create world economy and also: Together we stand, divided we fall. We aren't together and that's why we fall, everyone cares about themselves and not about overall society. We aren't united, we are separated, that's real problem. And this problem has to be fixed in real life at first rather than in cryptocurrencies. The reason we created cryptocurrencies is that mentioned problem isn't fixed in real life.
So what I want to say is that problem is deep. Let's take care of each other, let's give loans in lower percentage, let's share profit of organizations to their employees, let's have fixed, for example 1% of all profit from organizations to be put in education and try our best to educate poor people, poor nations along us and etc.
This is from where we have to start fixing of problems.
1980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I though Bitcoin was created for this moment? on: March 15, 2020, 09:39:00 PM
Bitcoin is created for a faster and cheaper transactions, this is my thought. On a daily drops yeah and we are all shocked because of that, but we should remain calm and be positive. Bitcoin proves to us that its not a totally a safe haven, this is also a big question for me but still I believe on the process of bitcoin and I know it can happen again one day.
I agree with you, btc was created to be cheap, fast and anonymous at some point, in overall it was created to get rid of 3rd parties during transaction between two person.
But as time goes, people's imaginary changed a little bit and among people it's like bitcoin should suit their needs. It will and even suits your needs but all of these depends on you. People panic a lot and there is no need of it, corona isn't that dangerous as they imagine in their thoughts. They buy weeks of products at once, that makes prices to rise because of high demand and low supply, they sit at home and doing nothing. This stops economics and affects everything. People don't save money in bitcoin like you think, no, they do worst opposite, exchange btc and buy products and sit at home. This is bad reality!
