1981  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: March 17, 2020, 08:02:46 PM
World economy wouldn't benefit by the way op states here. It's also very hard tasks and requires tons of discussion. At some point I agree with you, we create world economy and also: Together we stand, divided we fall. We aren't together and that's why we fall, everyone cares about themselves and not about overall society. We aren't united, we are separated, that's real problem. And this problem has to be fixed in real life at first rather than in cryptocurrencies. The reason we created cryptocurrencies is that mentioned problem isn't fixed in real life.
So what I want to say is that problem is deep. Let's take care of each other, let's give loans in lower percentage, let's share profit of organizations to their employees, let's have fixed, for example 1% of all profit from organizations to be put in education and try our best to educate poor people, poor nations along us and etc.
This is from where we have to start fixing of problems.
1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I though Bitcoin was created for this moment? on: March 15, 2020, 09:39:00 PM
Bitcoin is created for a faster and cheaper transactions, this is my thought. On a daily drops yeah and we are all shocked because of that, but we should remain calm and be positive. Bitcoin proves to us that its not a totally a safe haven, this is also a big question for me but still I believe on the process of bitcoin and I know it can happen again one day.
I agree with you, btc was created to be cheap, fast and anonymous at some point, in overall it was created to get rid of 3rd parties during transaction between two person.
But as time goes, people's imaginary changed a little bit and among people it's like bitcoin should suit their needs. It will and even suits your needs but all of these depends on you. People panic a lot and there is no need of it, corona isn't that dangerous as they imagine in their thoughts. They buy weeks of products at once, that makes prices to rise because of high demand and low supply, they sit at home and doing nothing. This stops economics and affects everything. People don't save money in bitcoin like you think, no, they do worst opposite, exchange btc and buy products and sit at home. This is bad reality!
1983  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Alternative to Admob/adsense where I can earn anonymously - earn cryptocurrency on: March 13, 2020, 09:48:15 PM
To be fair there exists no adsense alternative and especially crypto oriented one but as far as I know adbutler offers good prices to publishers and is crypto friendly but idk whether it accepts crypto payments or not.
On another hand what about to try Russian companies? For example let's take popunder (if you are ok with popups). For them traffic source doesn't matter a lot and offer crypto deposit/withdraw, pay without delays.
In overall Russian ad companies don't offer good rates but at the same time are less strict and accept publishers easily.

I know I wasn't active lately and even missed second round but as for now I'll be very active like always.
Hope you'll leave me in campaign.

1985  Economy / Economics / Re: Unfair aspects of KYC. But KYP is here on: March 05, 2020, 05:38:32 PM
In crypto market, it makes sense! Otherwise, in real world, we usually know the service providers and obtain their KYP details easily! But in crypto market, the scope is usually much larger because crypto companies usually cater to the global client base.

Most importantly, it should be mandatory for all types of ICOs, ITOs or STOs because they get funded by common mass. So KYP is particularly useful in crypto market.

But in real world, such details are usually available in the public domain. So KYP would not bring much change there!
Not only in crypto market but overall, online websites that offer some services and ask you for KYC should be somehow verified. For example imagine I found casino "blabla" and register there, it asks me for KYC to withdraw money, there should be one legit website run by government or etc that should verify whether website is actually legit or not. But there are no such services while any website can freely ask you for KYC documents. We should implement something like this not only in crypto world but on every website that asks for KYC.
Also there must be pictures and basic informations about the owners of particular websites that request KYC from you. It's 100% legitimate to know whom you send your documents.
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect your cryptocurrency, only means, protect your account. on: March 03, 2020, 09:03:35 AM
Not sure why were talking about passwords and accounts here. If you hold bitcoin or certain cryptocurrencies, do NOT store them through exchanges. Non-custodial wallets people, non-custodial wallets. Nacho keys, nacho bitcoin(or crypto in general).
Yeah, he talks about how to secure our online accounts which is very far from protecting our cryptocurrencies. Well, OP then you had to mention that you talk about online wallets and also online exchanges like blockchain.com binance and etc.
For even better security, to my mind you have to use linux instead of windows and you have to use laptop/pc only for logging in certain websites and use original OS and not cracked ones.
Not only that but you have to make password reset procedure hard.
Also only use secret email adress, that only you know and you haven't send anything from this address to anyone except the websites you use.
1987  Other / Archival / Re: Imgord imageboard - earn Bitcoin by posting memes! on: February 29, 2020, 09:40:05 AM
First of all idea is really good, anything else what you did - sorry, but bad.
I have some suggestions for you:
As I see you were trying to make something similar of imgur but failed, but again, don't be shy and really make something similar of them with features and etc cause it really suits your needs. Not alone website but you need meme generator application for smartphones too for users to be able to create and share memes in your network and make things comfortable. For example check this app: Meme Generator Free by zombodroid
Not only lighting network but also you can integrate something similar of faucethub, since they discontinued their service, luckily I remember another team decided to launch something similar of them and here it is: Microwallet.co
Then to my mind it would be better to buy famous facebook meme pages and move whole meme community on your website, it depends on your current wealth and how much you can afford for this project.
Also if you would let people to have some dedicated fanbases it may be good, for example memes only related to Ricardo Milos and etc Cheesy

1989  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question Time:Mining by own machine or cloud mining, which one is better and why on: February 27, 2020, 03:38:43 PM
Which one will you select? And why?

Not your equipment - not your property.
To make things more clear, imagine this: You mine 100$ monthly, will you rent your mining equipment for 90$ monthly? While you are making 100$ + you payed a lot in these equipment + you have to take care of them. Logical answer would be no. You would only rent if it's beneficial for you, that's how cloud mining works. They make mining beneficial for themselves, not for you. You pay them, then your contract becomes unprofitable and then they decline your contract while leaving money in their own pocket.
Or if still hashnest exist, you may mine and trade with their hashes (they are legit cloud mining company, under Bitmain's management).

So in overall, mine yourself with your own equipment. At least if nothing, you will be able to sell them.
1990  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Find your managers on: February 27, 2020, 10:59:17 AM
Including forum link of last topic page isn't correct to my mind because maybe Yahoo's last topic is PP/btc exchange and why will someone be interested in it? I guess you have to manually check and include link of newest campaign.

SFR10
Haha, OP missed you, so amazing man.
P.S. SFR10 is very experienced campaign manager too (well, was in past).
1991  Other / Meta / Re: Most Useful Posts/Threads That Helped You In This Forum on: February 27, 2020, 10:36:19 AM
Since we all have different interest in crypto world and etc, I guess it will be boring to read all the posts that were suggested there but it depends on person.
In overall, all pinned topics are useful.
On another hand, personally I found all of achow101's posts very interesting, he is really one of the most amazing member of this forum.
philipma1957's posts are very interesting too, his posts are related to mining.
Personally I prefer to post names of certain users instead of certain posts because in overall their posts are high quality and very beneficial for improving your knowledge.
1992  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk is racist on: February 25, 2020, 07:02:51 PM
If anyone thinks cryptotalk is racist because of their choice, then what about Netflix, Spotify, some services and games on google play and etc that aren't available in some countries? Is this racist too? If anyone thinks yes, then idk what to say.

To make things even more clear, I have to ask: Why bitcointalk doesn't have each board for every country and why are some countries mixed together in Other languages/locations section?
Nor this, nor that action is racist. It wasn't just beneficial for them and decided to do what was needed and as suchmoon mentioned, it was just lazy behavior from them, easy deal.
And P.S. Google VPN in case you don't know what it is.

1994  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to make rank-up more difficult on: February 25, 2020, 10:17:42 AM
I don't think it's that easy to reach legendary as you are framing it, I think you have that view because you got most of your merits from the Bitcointalk Art Compition and it not that easy to earn 1000 merit's anyways. I am sure many would agree.

Although adding a new rank after legendary could be an better option IMO.
Oh no, number of current ranks is absolutely the best, at least to my mind.
Higher the rank, higher the signature space, maybe if we shorten the sig space (I mean number of words in sig) for hero members and make it similar of sr, sr - similar of hero and newbie without capability of using sig and then adding another rank higher then legendary may worth but still I think current ranking system is good.

Personally I think merits are easily given on some local boards, this may be support from nation or just really quality post but idk, I can't determine it.

What would anyone add beside current merit system? Merit report? I guess it will be a huge headache whether user's post deserves 15 merit or 10 merit and etc, there isn't any merit measure tool. But maybe there should be limit on merit and be like this:
1-2 merit - helpful post
3-4 merit - post is good and really beneficial
5-6 merit - great post, this user changed my life Cheesy

Guys what's your opinion about this?
1995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the most popular cryptocurrencies for investors? on: February 13, 2020, 05:30:33 PM
I have no idea why it took any time for anyone to make a list of the most popular cryptocurrencies because just look at coinmarketcap, you'll see a list of all of cryptocurrencies (currently more than 5k) and they are almost ranked by popularity. Just compare coinmarketcap's list to OP's list, first 7 coin are the same and on another ones, only places are changed a little bit.
Asset Popularity is good but not very accurate statistics because for example everyone got Bitcoin Cash after bitcoin's fork and this means a lot of people own bitcoin cash just because of bitcoin's popularity and we can't say from that statistics that BCH is popular itself.
1996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy only bitcoin or take chances in altcoin casino? on: February 13, 2020, 05:02:45 PM
I would say for profit purposes, altcoin(s) will win but the question is, can you guess which altcoin will have the massive gains? In 2017 ripple had the most amazing rise, from 0.006$ it went up to 3$. But we have to agree with that almost all altcoin follows to bitcoin's price movement and this means bitcoin is leader.
High risk = high reward. If you are a person who likes doing a lot of research and taking high risks, then personally I would stick altcoins. I have no idea why some people ignore altcoins because there is very high profit potential in them, not only profit but some of them are really innovative.
And if you are going to just follow the wave of hope of rises and halving, then stick with bitcoin.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: February 13, 2020, 01:36:12 PM
Shouldn't the question be, is bitcoin still centralised? Because, Bitcoiner as I am, and as un-technical as I can be, it's impossible to deny Bitcoin started out centralised -- but that's just the nature of something that has to come out from somewhere and be born. The software was run first by one, then two people, and then a handful of pre-early adopters. Might even have been dominated by a few developers and enthusiasts a year after, still centralised. They were the users, the miners, the developers.

It's nothing like that today, hasn't been for many years. Even the first user, the first centraliser, the founder -- he walked away so this dream of decentralisation could happen.
Really liked your post, yeah, bitcoin was centralized at first, there is no doubt but to my mind bitcoin had sweet spot in 2011-2012 years and even till 2016. Then some things went well and opposite. Nowadays bitcoin isn't decentralized, at least I think so and have enough arguments for that. Governments are going to set regulations on it, exchanges hold almost 10% of whole bitcoin supply and as time goes number increases. Mining turned into business cause mining at home isn't beneficial at all. And for example we see shady behaviors of Bitmain that releases novel miners after getting most out of it.
1998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are crypto advisers worth to be looking for? on: February 13, 2020, 12:49:52 PM
Hey. Can you tell the beginner if there are any professional advisers who can teach you how to trade in practice? Crypto courses and general informative articles are great, but I'm having in mind something with more practice included. Does it make sense to look for them and how much scam there might be?
And is there anyone who knows how to trade well? Trading isn't that type of skill where everything depends on your talent, skills and hard work, like soccer for example. In trading luck is necessary too, there is no way someone may have ability to tell you 100% right prediction. Like gambling, trading is taking of risks too, no risk = no reward. Read articles that review price changes of different currencies (use good sources like cointelegraph and others). Then test yourself on demo platforms and see how good you will be.
You can also use social trading, platforms like eToro offer you ability to follow public traders. If you catch good one, you may analyze their strategy.
1999  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: February 12, 2020, 09:08:07 PM
Just ignore those who accuse bitsler is a scam site. They do that because they lost their money while gamble on bitsler and they are angry because of that and then accuse them as a scam site. We have seen similar thing like this many times on some reputable gambling sites
You don't have to ignore any thread related to them, you just have to analyze what happened, what was reason, how it was solved and make a conclusion.

I never read any post that accused Bitsler of being a scam. Can you please post any links here so I can read what they are saying?
Well, in past when Bitsler had bitcoin faucet, people started abusing of it and Bitsler's team was blocking faucet abusers (those who don't deposit and play only with faucet to catch high rolls). So there were scam accusation threads because of this reason, even in this situation Bitsler was 100% fair. Then to solve this problem finally, they came with BTSLR coin and now there is free wagering contest in it and no one limits you in it's usage.
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the 21M BTC supply promise realistic? on: February 12, 2020, 07:13:47 PM
Everyday people lose access to their wallets, send Bitcoins to wrong addresses. It results in Bitcoins being lost forever. In the meantime, there is no way to prevent it.

So, let’s suppose that Bitcoin would exist forever. It means that at some point there won’t be any coin left in the network…

I know there are other implications/discussions about Bitcoin supply. But I’d like to limit this topic to this concern (Bitcoins lost).

Is  the 21M BTC supply promise realistic?

Nothing ever gets lost. People are even talking that quantum computers will hack bitcoin network and who cares about lost bitcoins, they should be easy to restore. I wouldn't say that it's something to laugh on because for example in past first hard drive had size of 3.75 megabyte while nowadays the max size went up to 16 terabyte. Can you see how dramatically it increased? So who knows how soon we will be able to crack some things in near future. Bitcoin won't remain the same, it will have a need of security development, adding of some new features and some modification in overall. Maybe we will get all lost bitcoins but who will own them?
Nothing is impossible, even reviving of lost bitcoins. It's just a matter of time.
