201  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ★ Key4co.in ★ Instant Gamekeys with Bitcoin & Shapeshift! SUMMER SALE! on: June 25, 2017, 08:31:06 PM
If you want to buy an older game for a cheap price during the steam summer sale you can also shoot me a message first. Chance is that I still have that game lying around (CS:GO sadly not) and can offer it to you cheaper than steam.

How do I know the key won't be revoked ? You collecting keys from social deals and the likes right ? How are you about to get discount on newer games like bf 1 ? Can you get cod infinite warfare, doom, killing floor 2 ?

I got a key from him last year and had zero issues. He's been a great person to deal with and I haven't heard any negative comments from others yet.
202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think guys Poloniex will be the next MT.Gox? on: June 25, 2017, 07:59:58 PM
I am worried right now to use polo because recently heard some news regarding lots of pending withdrawal many people have in poloniex these days and as usual their support system is crap.
Yes they need to hire more people and get things back on track .

I don't think they are going to be the next MtGOX, there won't be another fiasco like that even if Polo gets hacked. Their system isn't secure enough and some people are taking advantage of it. It's starting to be worth huge trouble with current coin prices.

What isn't secure? If people are refusing to use 2fa and are using the same password elsewhere, Polo has zero control over that. User error should never be blamed on the site. If people would quit being lazy this wouldn't happen.
203  Economy / Securities / Re: [Cryptomerian.com] Cryptomerian Investment Private Crypto-Fund on: June 25, 2017, 07:58:40 PM
Unfortunately, CS achieved net -1.25% for 25.06.2017 week. This is the 3rd negative week in Cryptomerian 64 weeks history.

With this result, June 2017 closed with +3.98% and first six months of 2017 closed with + 29.05%. We are +4% over our target of 50% for 2017. Thanks for your trust and investment.

25.06.2017 Weekly achievement for each investment centers,

Dice   :  0.29%
Lending :   0.40%
ICO   :  0.00%
Trading :    -1.93%
Gross  :  -1.25%

Net  : -1.25% (no maintenance fee)

CS prices for 25.06.2017-02.07.2017

CS Index   0.004420
Sell   0.004375
Buy   0.004465

Please visit our website for other details and sign up for reaching out your CSs and Bitcoins.

Are you calculating return the "right" way or compounded? I ask because, for example:

You start with $100
You earn $50. That week is +50%
You earn $75. That week (compounded) is +50%, but based on original, it's +75%
As such, you can interpret it as +100% total or +125%.

Also affects things like this loss:
Start with $100.
You lose $50. You're -50%
You earn $50. You're +100% from base for +50%, but in actuality you're break-even.
204  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think guys Poloniex will be the next MT.Gox? on: June 25, 2017, 08:09:22 AM
Guys i experience of receiving email from poloniex which is very annoying when checking my cellphone and receive those email from poloniex but i stop using poloniex a month ago because someone  use my account and sometimes i notice that my investment there are reduce gradually. so i transfer all my altcoin and bitcoins to the safety place before i transfer to other exchange site just to investigate.

I monitor and save their ip and i want to trace them but looks like its hardly to trace them and i think they are using a tor browser

Here's my login logs from last and today.

Maybe it can help this ip to trace those hackers..

For those who still have access and you are holding some funds in poloniex better to move them to the safety place.
And for other who already experience the same as mine what do you think poloniex will be taken down?

I'm going to assume you're not using 2fa then, right? Because if you're not, you already know exactly what your issue is and blaming it on Poloniex makes no sense.
205  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTC buy&sell - best rates from HiRiBi.com on: June 25, 2017, 08:05:36 AM
I did get most of my money back. Just two payments are on hold at Paypal. Hopefully they get resolved soon - its been two weeks. I think Alex (from Hiribi) was very very helpful, they helped me get the new rate, because ETH had climbed 10% in the time window of the payment. I do appreciate that part. Only wish the payment schedule was better organized.

The issue is they are essentially doing manual exchange middle-manning. So they have no idea when someone is going to make an order to sell/buy and it's hard to collaborate that. We see the same thing with online gold sellers (like in games).

can anyone help out...my rbies wallet stops syncing at 269055.

thanks

Your wallet probably forked, resyncing your block files should fix this.

Would this consist of closing the wallet and re-strating or something else? I have restarted the wallet and it still stops at the same block.

To resync the blockchain you have to delete everything but your wallet.dat file (as that contains your pkeys). Then run the client again and it'll download the blockchain from scratch.

Login requires Google Authenticator now, but I have not set it up for my account? Account name is 'mudzkipz' please help me.

I was able to log in without 2fa. Then in the account I was able to set it up. Not sure what you're talking about...

What I don't like is that your 2fa key remains visible in your account even after setting it up. In theory it shouldn't matter, but for additional security, it should be removed.

DVC price is not doing badly on Coingather.

Agreed. A little over a BTC and it's back up to 100sat, as well. I'd love for it to get there (or higher) and stabilize...

I will try to buy a little the next few months. Feels like going back home.

This is a good start indeed but we should keep moving! Do you guys REALLY want 100 satoshis per DVC? Please HELP US reach out UTB and Devcoin miners, it will easy the hardfork A LOT!

Also, we need at least one more person for the test network, don't let the train go again. PLEASE HELP US HELP YOU!!

What do you want to know from UTB? I can reach out to him but he only usually responds when it's time to upload the next receiver file.
211  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: June 25, 2017, 03:05:15 AM
The new interface looks a lot nice and more friendly than before. Nice to see that you've listened to suggestions from your testing, made the betting provably fair as well.

I do have two suggestions though. Have you considered adding a test feature with fictional coins, so people could try out merging/splitting/betting without needing to deposit? That way people that are somewhat confused/just want to try it first can.

Also, have you thought about adding a signed message to verify that the deposit address given does belong to ChipMixer? It would be nice to know for certain that the address is real, and those with a virus on their computers that replaces BTC addresses that verify the message can end up not losing funds.

I agree with the idea of signed messages. That's a great idea.

On the fictional splitting/merging, I don't feel that's needed. What's confusing? You're breaking apart or merging a balance. If you have $10 and $10 and you merge, what do you get? A $20. If you split that, you get $10 and $10. Not sure what's hard to grasp.
212  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB nintendo switch on: June 25, 2017, 01:05:08 AM

I don't think that guy is still selling, and that's a horrible price anyways. These are not rare anymore and Nintendo has announced that they are ramping up production in the next couple weeks. The market is about to be flooded more than it already is.
213  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yobit INVESTBOX on: June 24, 2017, 01:14:33 AM
Did you see the new feature at Yobit? https://yobit.io/en/investbox/

What do you think about it? Looks the income rates are a bit high...

I see some really high returns on there.

Based on my knowledge about Yobit, they are essentially an unlicensed exchange that is based on nobody knows land. Nobody knows what they do with client coins, nobody knows where they are located, nobody knows how they are generating that sort of profit.

Just by saying on their page that investments are 100% guaranteed does not help.

Sure, it's backed by their own company, but if they go scam(go to scam accuastions and you'll see at least 3 yobit accusations per page), then your funds are gone.

No thanks, i'd rather invest in casino bankroll than this stuff. Their customer support is nonexistant when something goes wrong.

Not going to vouch for them or anything, but what I can say is that every accusation I've seen so far dealt with some crapcoin that nobody cares about and is always caused by a lack of miners (meaning coins can't be moved as there's nobody to mine blocks). I've yet to see any about any coin that actually had a following/mattered.
214  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Liqui.io is a scam. BEWARE on: June 23, 2017, 11:46:33 PM
Well thats why it is advised to trade in low amounts even on reputable exchanges, we all know that even the ones that we though were "safe" they went down. It is unpleasant feeling and I am just sad when I hear something like this happens because I know how would I feel if this happened to me.

Thank you for sharing this, I won't go to this exchange in the future, I had some small experience with them andl was fine tho.

The issue here is people take a person's word as being gospel as to why a site shouldn't be trusted. If a site has 100,000 customers and 1 is upset, that person is the one who is going to speak out and not the other 99,999 that had zero issues. Can't really judge it on such a small set of data.

I have risked $3. How am I a shill for yobit? If I was I would be claiming I had invested$100s.

Welcome to BCT.

If you like something, you're a shill for it
If you hate something, you're a competitor's shill
If you are impartial, you're a shill for both

218  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What Do You Think Of Fitcoin? on: June 23, 2017, 02:56:03 AM
I think it needs to be worked out a lot. Just 5 cents for workout is not sufficient money plus there will be frustrating situation when you will not reach the minimum cash out level soon enough. So your workout is all gone. Lol. Well seriously these guys either need to increase the pay scale or they need to relaunch the project with some more exciting stuff in it. Concept is very good no doubt but they have ran into non profit organization which they might not have thought before it's launch.

Are you seriously complaining because you wouldn't earn "enough" for doing something that benefits YOU to begin with? Most people I know work out for exactly $0.00. And most of those even PAY to work out in gyms. $0.01 would be more than $0.00. Can't believe people are actually bothered by this.
219  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Liqui.io is a scam. BEWARE on: June 23, 2017, 02:50:27 AM
I have to say when it comes to these new accounts with 2 posts, in 99% of cases this is just a simple FUD trying to harm whatever website they mention in their post. So, my question to the OP is to pls provide proof of his/her claims in the form of fake transaction and that response from Liqui. If not, I ll be sending a nice negative trust rating your way.

Sick and tired of scammers and speculators.

My thought exactly. Just like I wouldn't take a new account seriously if they were promoting some new Website/service, I can't fathom doing it for a negative report. There's just no weight to what they say.
220  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 7 NEW GAMES HAVE BEEN ADDED 🎰🎰🎰 on: June 22, 2017, 05:49:37 PM
I think this is real hard for some people to wagered that amount just to hit the jackpot. And I think this is just not simply to grow the jackpot here
0.01 is too big of a wager for a 1.1+ bitcoin jackpot ? I don't think so.If you think it is,you can always go for a lower wager but that would decrease the the value of jackpot right ? Yes it would, because you don't want the best of both the worlds. It is an opportunity to win ,lowering the wager would increase the number of participants and give them equal chances of winning along with the members who have wagered 0.01 btc + .Quite unfair.

So the person wants to get a big jackpot and doesn't want to bet enough to win a huge price, I feel 0.01 is a small price to play for if you want to win big. No risk no gain, you need to respect them that they are organising a fair and simple jackpot for all to claim. I mean who ever gets lucky. I give thumps up to the 0.01 policy.

Odds are low, though, giving it a massive -EV.

1/1,000,000 chance of hitting JP
Min bet of 0.01 to win 1.2 BTC
Est. cost to win: 1,000,000*0.01=10,000BTC*0.01=100BTC to win 1.2 BTC=-98.8 BTC EV
