1121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BRK] Breakout Chain | Coin Sale Complete | Multicurrencies | Gaming + eSports on: September 13, 2016, 06:12:58 AM

Here's Breakout Gaming's roadmap to keep you all informed.  The only change was our strategic decision to move lottery until after the main gaming platform launches next month.  This will provide real money poker, casino, sportsbook, and many more betting options in legal and licensed jurisdictions. Once this platform has launched we will take the time to begin active marketing and affiliate development prior to the launch of the lottery and skill poker training sites.

Is the poker site going to be the same one we currently use? Or are you designing a completely new one? Don't believe this has been answered in the past.

I downloaded the windows wallet but it is stuck at block 3002818 sayings 7days of sync left and not moving? Can anyone help? is the wallet broken? I have connections.

Would be nice if dev team can make a bootstrap available for user download and also keep it updated regularly

Do bootstraps actually help? I've bootstrapped a few coins in the past and they all took as long to sync up as the original would have (without BSing). Is it even worth having one?

Apex conquest see s like an ok game. There are e ough people online and I'm very glad it is backed like this. Though I really hope we can one day withdraw jewels from the game after we sell and buy things. This will make outside trade on the exchanges bloom.

Well, you can withdraw Jewels from the system (that's the beauty of cryptocurrencies). Jewels integration will mainly be focused on Heroes and Rebirth - but Chris can shed more light on this topic.  One of our projects goals is to create a decentralized item exchange that way you can trade your in-game items outside of our game itself and therefore you truly do own your items. This is effectively the auction house envision.

Going to be talking about this a lot more on this weeks Beyond Bitcoin.

I'm generally a fan of RMT because it's going to happen one way or the other, but it's a very delicate situation... and looking forward to BB, Smiley.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: September 13, 2016, 06:08:19 AM
Would you guys recommend storing your coins on myethwallet? They allow storing different kinds of coins as far as i know. And so are shapeshift. Storing coins in these app can help me access them anywhere with just my Tablet.
I will not comment on this but I can suggest you a few alternatives which are : holytransaction, blockchain ( for only btc ) , dogechain ( for doge coins ) , poloniex and many others
Note : I am not at all saying these sites will nevr scam but they are running since long time.

Technically, blockchain.info would be the safest of those listed (based on the ones I know), as you can get your private key. That said, you will never be safe unless you hold your coins locally and keep them highly protected. No online site is going to change that.
1125  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 8 coins ★ 5 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Invest ★ Exchange coins! ★ on: September 12, 2016, 03:03:16 AM
Wow Crypto-Games.net is now Crypto or Altcoin Exchange Ready. Just Like YoBit. I think, For Admins you can now open a thread in Exchange Section or Any thread about Exchange. Hahaha For Promotional. Cheers!
Thank you for suggestion  Wink

Btw: Few hours left for new round of bitcoin lottery, 219 tickets is already sold! Get yours for only 10k satoshi Wink

I thought Crypto-Games.net is know a gambling trading site. Hahaha. It's only Altcoins Gambling Website and they allow to exchange your

all coins to other coins. And even the play money have value right now. Cheers to that!

Playmoney has a 6% cost of purchasing. Kinda bullshit that it isn't disclosed up front....
It's 3%, not 6%...and you see how much you'll receive before you make a convertion.

3% to convert back as well. Also 3% isn't known until you have to convert back.
As on every exchange - you pay for exchange when you buy and you pay for exchange when you sell.

Are these exchange fees shared with BR investors, or are they all kept by C-G itself?

Hello, can you plss help me with my 2fa problem? its not accepting my 2fa in moneypot

Check that the time on your phone is in sync with the world time. At the top of MP you'll see the server time, like:

Server Time: Fri, 09 Sep 2016 13:07:06 GMT

Make sure the minute/seconds are the same as you're seeing on your phone.

First epic win on the new site:

On behalf of all the investors: FUCK YOU WOW!

just kiddin, congrats
Oh my god . Huge epic win . Congrats to that guy, hope that one day i will be in his place  Grin Grin I 'm sorry for that guy who losed money Tongue
yea , that guy winned a lot of money , but i think that he is a rich guy because if he wasnt he would not risk that huge amount of money(btc)
if i would be that guy i would bet only small amounts like 0.25BTC couple of times , anyway if you dont take the risk you dont win

To say if you were that guy you would bet .25 seems very short sighted.
You really respond on your own comment? wtf?

I'd say we are in front of an accounts farmer who forgot to log out from one account and login to another to answer himself and farming both accounts (in the benign assumption he is farming only two accounts).
I may be wrong but really can't imagine another reason for what we see.

/Off Topic

I found the most entertaining part of it the fact that if you read the guy's two posts, he was attempting to write in a different style the second time so that it wouldn't look like it was the same person (on his other account).

http://blog.freestaking.com If you are in the CUBE Twitter campaign, you should hit me up with your PROMO address too as soon as possible!

To confirm, you did see mine already, right? You had responded to all others but me so just want to make sure.

DigiCube

Twitter Campaign

Getting started is easy and only takes a few quick moments
1) Go to https://apps.twitter.com
2) Click Create New App
3) Enter anything for Name, Description, Website (http://freestaking.com if you want)
4) Create your Twitter Application
5) Click Generate My Access Token and Token Secret
6) Set Access Level to Read and Write

The four things needed are:

Under Application Settings:
Consumer Key (API Key)
Consumer Secret (API Secret)

Under Your Access Token
Access Token
Access Token Secret

PLEASE NOTE: This is the same as all of the web apps that ask for access to tweet on our behalf, I am simply having you guys set it up manually so you understand exactly what will happen. We will not send original tweets from your account!! This enables read and write access to the associated Twitter account. This does NOT give access to Direct Messages. I will not view any information or read your tweets. This will simply retweet and favorite approved tweets

To avoid initial spam, I recommend retweeting one of my recent tweets. That way it will only use new messages instead of spamming a bunch of old ones first

Please include your CUBE address when this is all complete and set up, as well as your @ handle on Twitter. Promoters receive 50k CUBE weekly, sent out every Sunday

Everyone who has signed up for this should PM me their PROMO address when I post the wallets. Will be soon

Will do. Waiting on the wallet to be released, Smiley.

Strange people would sell below the ICO price. Why did they buy in the first place? Anyway it's good to see Jewels being listed on Yobit.

Usually they come from one of two groups:

1) Those who invested and something happened and they need liquidity now, and are willing to take a hit to get it
2) Those who want to try and buy in cheaper by tricking others into dumping
1135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ 4days left for 10% bonus on: September 05, 2016, 06:41:53 AM
soon it will be 20k btc.  Smiley

that is too much IMHO, i think it will be hard to reach that amount tho it is not impossible. 5k btc worth in first round of ICO is kinda impressive but that doesn't mean it will get more investors in the next rounds as the bonus will go down

Most of the bigger investors probably already did their influx as well. Future ones get a worse off valuation (due to less/no bonus) so it's going to be that much harder to get more money on board.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of so-called "anonymous" coins (XMR, SDC, AEON and DASH) on: September 05, 2016, 06:35:08 AM
It is clear that these prices are not sustainable and are a major bubble and manipulation by big holders. The reason it can take of the way it does is mainly because what people have seen happen to many other coins recently after the volume increases.

The people are just jumping on board of the train and will jump off the second it looks like it will start to decline again.

I still think these "anonymous" coins are pure marketing trick and will never gain mainstream adoptation purely because they are anonymous.

I suppose usage of cash on the black market is a marketing trick?

Black markets exist whether we like them (or support them) or not.

Hype does exist at times and fear does exist....not disputing that. But to say that something will never be utilized to its full potential is to say for example as some have said "The internet will never amount to anything" OR "No one will want to have a personal computer in their homes".

A privacy-centric currency does not need to gain mainstream support and acceptance to be successful in its purpose.

I side with him, but not because of anonymity. It's more because cryptos are still way before their time. People still have issues with things like PayPal, which is a LOT less complicated than trying to use a crypto wallet. Now you have to secure the wallet, keep it backed up, etc. It's a complicated process for 99% of the people out there. This will absolutely hinder adoption.

Agreed it is complicated.

And that will limit how many people utilize cryptos to the extent that some of us do here.

That part of adoption is years away. That's not the focus right now.

On a purely anonymous PoV, I do think that it's an important thing. And those who are against it should realize that cash, which has been used for illegal things ever since it was created hundreds of years ago, is also anonymous. But governments haven't made cash illegal.

1000% profit is so close now with btc rising up!

+-1000$ per investor.

Nice one!
It is indeed, a great timing for the price increase of bitcoin, lucky are those investors who were on board on the first week of the ICO stage. I also invested but unfortunately I was not able to avail of the bonus but regardless as long as I can earn money after the ICO I would be please.

Luckily i got the bonus from 1st week of ICO which somehow had an assurance of gaining profits  in the  future as this coin would launched for sure.
You are right bitcoin price  is rising and  also a great timing for this alt.

Just keep in mind that anything can happen. I think the ideas they're pushing are good, but it's still not guaranteed to be profitable and lasting. Like anything, it's still a risk regardless.
1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should BTC Opinions be valued based on your BTC wallet size? on: September 04, 2016, 09:37:11 AM
I think everyone has a valuable opinion and everyones opinions should be taken seriously. Just because you have a smaller amount of BTC doesn’t mean you should have less of a say in things. Everyone has valid points and all opinions should be considered.

In a truly decentralized system, this would be correct. The issue is that we're not truly decentralized. Despite this push and the claims that we are, all decisions are made by a very small group of people. It's more of like a representative system than anything.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing investment on Gambling sites on: September 04, 2016, 03:30:49 AM
since i had heared by many friends that investing money at gambling site instead of gamble is more profitable if admin of gambling site is honest & pay honestly.

Yeah, that is certainly true. That all the investments made in gambling is far more profitable than having to do a gambling, as the investment does not require something or need a strategy. We only provide funds to developers and afterwards they will return our money with bonuses given (profit). But we can't get an advantage in a long period of time, so we cannot expect more than a gambling investment

Maybe yes and maybe no. It depends on the situation because its a gambling you cant assure that everyday is a lucky day, you may lose if a gambler gets a win in streak or the site where you interested get hacked you may lose money in one shot too or could be also if the site you invested runs your money. So be be very careful.

If you worried that site owners might scam you then you must choose trusted sites to invest and you can find few good sites to consider in this forum. All investments come with some risks and without taking risks we can't grow our money so to reduce losses from casino investments you should diversify your money into few good casinos than in the long run you will make some good profit.

I have a feeling that you will skip on this, but can you please elaborate those few sites you are speaking? So we can have an idea about their existence.

You can check this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.msg16127584#msg16127584

There you will get around few good sites to consider for investing. Also, you can check last one month plus performance of these sites. Hope it will help you to make some decision on which sites to consider for your initial casino investments.

Thank you so much for sharing the thread link fullypak. I am reading now and is planning to invest a little part of my coins to betking and we will see.. I am spreading wide now all of my bitcoins although the profit will be smaller but I do hope that the overall profit is good.

I've started tracking weekly performance on MoneyPot. It's not doing so bad. Was up +1.742% for the last week. Currently up 0.231% for the past 48 hours alone (so almost +2% return in 9 days).
