looks good will mine

How do you plan on doing that?

Huh

Read his prior posts. All he does is spam on topics to get his post count up for a signature campaign. Most of his posts have nothing to do with the thread at all - he just uses the title and throws up a random message.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some basic legal questions about opening a bitcoin gambling site on: September 01, 2016, 02:20:35 AM
I'm looking into the possibility of starting a small esports bitcoin betting site but I'm pretty uninformed on the legal aspects involved. My biggest question is about transferring bitcoin from the site to USD. From what I've read, it seems like this is where you can get into trouble. Is there a way to legally transfer profits from a site like this to fiat money?
Also, would it benefit for a site like this to be based outside of the US in a place like Costa Rica? If it were, would there be any legal issue with accepting users from the US?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Get an attorney. Don't be stupid enough to accept someone's answer on these forums when it comes to the law. When you get arrested, the judge isn't going to care that "some anonymous person on the Internet" told you through a forum.
1163  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ZOOMER SCAMMING NETFLIX AND EMAIL ACCOUNTS on: September 01, 2016, 02:12:48 AM
I would nee first the password so I can verify his claim and, then when he apologize about the insults I will refund not before that is my final word.

What would you say if i buy xy from you, and It will stop working and my refund request is like this :

Hey you fucking scammer refund me my money, Would you like that ?

Funny you should say that. I'm dealing with rude customers almost daily. Never the tone of the complaint has swayed me, I'm only paying attention to the contents. I can't imagine a situation where I would demand an apology before honoring my side of the deal. Besides 99% of them calm down after a few words anyway.

Ask for the password, verify the claim, issue a refund if the account is not working. Forget the apology and move on. Be the adult in this situation.

I'm with you on this one. I think both parties are really at fault here: the buyer shouldn't start out insulting someone for an issue that they aren't aware of, and the seller shouldn't start attacking them back. Both are in the wrong. That said, if the buyer can prove the account did not hold up to the agreement set forth prior, I'd say a refund is absolutely entitled.

Its a bullshit to delete original thread....
Its not his fault that a bunch of noobs was present in original thread..

The mods here don't like me. That's why they leave me ridiculous trust  ;p

because you are a scammy piece of shit? really?

remind everyone what handle you launched this coin under... cause you are such a fucking pillar of the community and all.

[edit] i hate mrpep as much as the next guy, but i'd have to say he is pretty fair when it comes to laying out justice. you just are a particularly horrendous cunt. congrats.

And you got the biggest hard on of all for him lol

hard on? not likely. What I do find actually fascinating is how he keeps coning you dumb fucks into buying his snake oil. Really, spots coins should be a primer for new blood into crypto so they get the ass fucking out of the way early and learn from the mistake.

You must be the only one that has some figment of an imagination of getting screwed over by him. Cause i sure as hell haven't. Everything I own in CUBE right now IS PURE PROFIT, just like his twitter name states @PurePoS and I've totally capitalized on it and am quite happy with the results.

So take your shit to him personally, or learn how to play the crypto game and stop being a whiny cunt.

ah yes, learn to play the crypto game of hot potato where the last person to the dance looses. that must be why you are all so keen on bringing in new 'investors' with your twitter campaign? seriously dude, you are not fooling me. it does not take a genius to make money on the 'spots plan' but you are seriously the lowest scumbags of the crypto scene. enjoy your btc. you have earned it.

You realize what you just described is Bitcoin, right? "You keep hoping others invest or you lose value." If everyone quit investing in BTC, it'd plummet. If everyone quit working for USD, it'd have no value. You're naming every crypto/fiat currency in existence, yet his is magically the "scam."

Please explain how he scammed you. Tired of seeing thousands of accusations with absolutely no basis on these forums. Until you've shown any proof whatsoever that he has scammed someone in the past, it's pure FUD.

The last time HF was around he attempted to delegate responsibilities to the community, he was in agreement with your statement months ago. People were paid to take on various duties. I wonder who those people are and what they are doing?

Apparently not a lot. Reminds me of the Devcoin situation. Almost 40% of the coins are going to people who haven't done any of their jobs in over 12 months but due to mismanagement, they continue getting paid to do nothing.
1166  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟🎲🌟 MoneyPot.com on: August 31, 2016, 09:23:18 PM
I tried accessing it in firefox with a laptop.

I'm able to access the site fine but when I go to game settings I get:

"The requested URL /flexidice/config.html was not found on this server."

Wonder if this is related to your issue somehow.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~MMOs ~Poker ~ 20+ Servers~ShapeShift.io ~RPG +More! on: August 31, 2016, 12:20:48 PM
Guys hyper is not dead its just taking a break. It had a lot of hype around the fight and is taking a breather. I dont think the dev gets paid to do this work so he needs breaks too and obviously must have some other job to feed himself and his family.

So dont give up on hyper or any of the game coins, Youth are the future and youth play a lot of games and are much more welcoming to try a new game or tech or coin

I am buying and hording all the gaming coins as of a little while ago and I think it will pay off soon but right now of all the gaming coins so far I like jewels the best because it has real world uses as soon as it launches.

He was constantly being paid via staking from the fairly large premine. Before he disappeared he had over 400k HYPER and at the time the price was around 20k satoshies staking 20k+ per month. The previous time he disappeared was when it was 40k satoshies and it dumped then too.

Right now 400k HYPER is roughly $4,000. First disappearance it was worth $92,000, second time it was $46,000.

This will be the first time I come out in public and say it but I believe he dumped what he could of his large pile, came back and tried to get the price higher to do it again and when he couldn't he dumped the rest down to 2k satoshies and is either waiting for the price to go back up or he is out completely.

A takeover is most definitely needed for both HYPER and GP to help the coin progress. The issue is whether or not the premine still exists and I have no idea which address they are in.

This is the wallet he had the premine funds in: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hyper/wallet.dws?25030.htm

It's down to 224k. Also, I agree with your assessment. I had actually talked privately with another member about my suspicions months ago, as there were funds being moved from that wallet at the same time that coins were being dumped in batches on Bittrex. We hoped for the best and wrote it off as him paying out bounties and the people getting them just dumping them right away. Now I'm really not so sure anymore.

I've backed this project a long time. I've gone out of my way to help it be successful. I currently hold over 60k HYPER and have even before the dumping, but didn't throw them on the market because I had hopes, volume was low, and i didn't want to destroy the coin by dropping them all. It sucks watching that value keep plummeting, and knowing that the person behind the coin is possibly the culprit for why it died.

1171  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: [VOUCHED]Cheap CloudFlare Plans!! BUSINESS PLAN FOR3$ on: August 30, 2016, 01:28:44 PM
Will my account get banned from this?
Nope. Since I have been using this method for 4 months, still isn't banned

From a post on June 9th, you were asked if your "method" lasts for more than 3 months. You said it'd be 2 months and 23 days before you could answer that. To give a mathematical benefit to you, we're going to assume the time is based on 31-day months, so we're going to set the start date at June 1st (technically, it should likely be 2nd, but I'm throwing on extra time).

From June 1st to July 1st = 1 month
From July 1st to August 1st = 2 months
From August 1st to September 1st = 3 months
From September 1st to October 1st = 4 months

(Note: the above are calculations including the previous month)

Now, in this post, you're saying you've used this method for 4 months. I'm not aware of any country in the world that is on a calendar that is ahead of every other country by over a month.

Is this why you're still in school? For basic math? Or are you just trying to mislead potential buyers through fake validation?

Our investors were notified on August 16th about upcoming change:
Because we want long term investors, additional divest fees will be introduced for short term investments:
- On investments shorter than 7 days, we will charge a 0.3% fee for divests
- On investments shorter than 14 days, we will charge a 0.2% fee for divests
- On investments shorter than 21 days, we will charge a 0.1% fee for divests
- On investments longer than 21 days, we will not charge you any fee for divests

This rule will come in place on September 1st 2016. On that day, website will be unavailable for couple of hours because of scheduled maintenance.

This is the type ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, and other shady operations pull...trying to give people reasons not to withdraw their money. You guys have a 2 BTC max win anyway....why do you need that much of a bigger bankroll?

I want to point out that you CAN withdraw at any time. Just pay a penalty if it's early. And the 3 week wait to not be penalized shouldn't be that bad. If you're investing in anything like this, it should be long-term regardless.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Blockpay Lets Businesses Accept 8 Major Cryptos at Zero-Cost on: August 30, 2016, 05:14:40 AM
I'm sorry, but I thought that you were only able to come up with only 1 reason as to why a free app that accepts all the hot new cryptocurrencies (in 3 seconds) won't be heavily utilized.

And since this reason that you came up with was indeed factually incorrect, I thought that you would simply leave the conversation.

Of course, if by "heavy" utilization, you are referring to Visa scale transaction levels, then even though this free app can handle these loads, they can't handle them right now anyway.  So, the scalability will grow with adoption was a basic assumption from the start.

In other words, scalability is not an obstacle to adoption here, and neither is transaction speed, or price volatility, so that just leaves.....................

this is where you say one thing that you think will keep a merchant from thinking that this free app that allows them to grow their customer base is NOTworth the capital expense of zero money...............

Since you are Legendary for posting mega frequently, I'm sure that youe silence will mean that you cannot fathom one possible reason why most merchants would turn down this FREE app.

This is BitShares posts get buried (because nobody can think of obstacles to heavy adoption besides the legwork of downloading the app for the merchant and training them to use it (which would net you a fat percentage of all their future transactions with this business model) (whaaaa?)

Did you know about that Mr Legen....dary?

It'd be easier for me to write out a list of reasons FOR why people should use the app. I don't know why you're so hostile. I am a pretty decent-sized investor in the crypto realm, have helped with (and still do) numerous projects, and I've been around a long time, but I'm not delusional. I know its limits. There are still many hurdles to cross, and it's something I, unlike most people around here, work to help achieve.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: August 28, 2016, 09:51:55 PM
Would be great if Devtome could be brought up again and/or made more resilient.

It needs someone that is willing to keep it maintained and work on monetizing it, really. The point behind it was to create an advertising powerhouse, which would purchase DVC off the market and help add buying pressure. So far, whoever is running it has failed to follow that vision.

I'm "Investor Administrator" for that reason! But never got access to improve the platform. I feel myself kind of ignored! Devtome would have huge success and I'm up to work on improving it but I need to have enough privileges for it. Currently I can only use the wiki like any other user, so it is near to impossible for me to achieve any significant improvement.

You're already an admin...

Flam, what do you think it would take to make devtome Google/adwords friendly? The current advertising is worthless, and we're just crippling ourselves.

dvccountdown - it was playing up, so I spent a bit of time fixing it / optimizing it. I may have introduced more bugs but I've sped it up significantly.

Regarding devtome, I can host it on one of my servers. The HR page still says jasinlee is in charge of it, so I'll send him a message to see about migrating it. Does anyone know if someone else has control of it?

HB

Not sure about who runs it now but I'd assume it's still Jasinlee.

I also don't think it should be that big of an issue to host. It's getting less than 300 visits per day... I just can't fathom how that's a huge resource hog.
1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: August 27, 2016, 10:03:38 AM
This is pretty obvious for anyone that has been using Bitcoin for a while in 2016, but the people that like to do trading are forced to leave some coins on the exchanges otherwise you miss opportunities.

The general rule is that you never risk more than you can afford to lose. If an exchange loses 100% of your funds and that will negatively impact your life, you shouldn't have money there or be trading in the first place. You should be fully prepared to lose every satoshi you have on an exchange. If not, keep it in your own wallet.

shame this one went south. Used to be a good coin with a good community. Too many other gaming based coins around now.

Damn... that sucks. I remember not too long ago watching UFC and seeing Hyper on Jon Fitch's clothes. Why did this end up going south what exactly happened here?

Technically, it can still be revived. But basically, wallet is a RAM hog (needs fixed) and creator of the coin has been away for some time now.

Does the PoS of this coin require you to actually be running the wallet or simply have coins on the network that automatically stake? I can see why the RAM would be a huge problem if the former. Did the creator say why they're leaving or just up and vanish? Nobody know them personally irl or on social media?

All PoS coins work the same. "Proof of Stake." Probably best for you to read up on it to get a better understanding, as there's way too much to type here.

And he's gone MIA in the past but not for this long.
