Is it the fact that large pools pay less to its miners ? Apart from 51% is there any other reason not to mine at a large pool ?
Nope Ghash.io is charging 0% fee. I can't think of any reason other than that. BTW, mining at a large pool should theoretically lower your variance of mining revenue.

I want to pick both but I can't, so after a little bit of struggle I have picked bomberman because OP said he would add pvp function to it in the future. Yes we have got the bunch of developers
Good to know that.

Site is down for me, is it working for everyone else?
Both the site and the chat system are working fine for me right now, though I have no idea if it was down an hour ago.

Is there something different/unique that distinguishes him from other dice games?
All the other dice games (PD, JD, Dice.Ninja, etc) generate a number randomly from 0 - 100. Pocket Dice works in the way like how you roll two dice in real life to produce 2,3,...,12, which I haven't seen in other sites.
|
|
|
There are some third-party roll verifiers for Primedice such as http://rgbkey.github.io/verify/PrimeDice/Just copy and paste your client seed, nouce, server seed and you will be able to see if the roll is fair or not.

Why full members cannot enter to this campaign anymore?
Because OP only want to have people wearing the colorful sig ads, which requires the participants to be at Sr member rank or above.

I think this site has some real potential since the gameplay is different than most dice sites. Where would we submit suggestions to the site? On this thread, or elsewhere?
I am sure it is better to do that in the main gambling thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703265.0, as this thread should be used for the sig campaign only.

AFAIK, CryptcoMiner was not a Cloud Mining Website. They offered some kinda weird investment plan like 3%-4% daily !!! Most of the cloud miners are still paying like PBMining, GAWminer etc. though they dont reveal how do they operate. Yup, CryptcoMiner is a ponzi that claimed to be generating an impossible 3%-4.5% daily profit from mining, and of course it is just a big fat lie.

I only have 0.7, so why would I buy anythnig with it? Doesn't make more sense that I just save all of it in cold storage? Thats what im doing so far tho. I don't get why I would want to buy some common good I can buy with FIAT, with the little BTC i have now.
Im new and only have 0.1... why should I spend any of it? What should I do with it?
It is really up to you. You may want to gamble with it, or you may want to buy some products (eg. T-shirts, gift cards) or services. If you don't want to buy anything with your bitcoin, you can just keep it in your cold wallet and wait for a higher price.
|
|
|
Since your payment depends on the pool's luck which is random, it is normal to have your short-term mining revenue fluctuating. If you want to get a higher expected mining payment, you should just mine at a pool with a lower fee.
|
|
|
I understand your point. It is similar to hyip sites. Are they really mining bitcoins?
Well, some cloudmining sites show no proof of mining and can't show where the payment to miners came from. In contrast, cex/ghash has been mining a lot of blocks, though the maintenance fee there is very high.
|
|
|
How about mining? It is a good way to earn BTC or a waste of time?
You can hardly make profit now with bitcoin mining. It is better to buy bitcoin directly rather than buying bitcoin miners. For earning bitcoin, you can try to sell your products and services, and you can join a signature campaign for bitcoin.

So what was the longest and fastest 6 blocks ?
I am sure the longest case involves the genesis block. The genesis block (block #0) was created on 2009-01-03 18:15:05 while the the block #6 was created on 2009-01-09 03:29:49.

Im interested in guides about cold storage solutions. Diffirent approches etc. Im sure i saw some on reddit and here but can't find it
The easiest way IMHO is to create a BIP38-encrypted paper wallet with bitaddress by saving the html to your pc and running it offline. You can refer to http://www.coindesk.com/information/paper-wallet-tutorial/You can also use Electrum or Armory to set up a cold wallet on your USB.

Haven't experienced your problem myself, and I have no idea what caused it to happen. How do I keep my Wallet data (including coins) and blockchain if I install Bitcoin 0.9.2.1?
AFAIK, your blockchain data and wallet.dat file shouldn't be affected by the upgrade. But for safety, you should always keep a backup of your wallet.dat file just in case your HDD fails one day. Don't forget to create a new backup when all of the keys in your keypool (it has 100 keys by default) are used up.

I would pick even 100 satoshis off the ground, money is money and should always be shown its due respect Not discounting the fact that 100 satoshis might buy me a cup of coffee in some distant future
But then you should be better off working at McDonald for an hour and use the wages to buy 0.01 btc (1000000 satoshi ) instead of picking those 1500-satoshi or 100-satoshi coins on the ground.

if you can take like 2 minutes out your day and just tell me the basics.. how long does it take to break even? how much money you make/lose, profit off like 130 gh/s ? and just advice if you have any
It depends on the miner cost, the electricity cost and the future mining difficulty increasing rate. My advice: Before you buy the miner, please check the profitability yourself with a mining calculator like https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

When will be ebay merchants be able to put our btc address on there and recieve payments... how will this work?
http://www.forbes.com/sites/ryanmac/2014/09/08/ebay-announces-first-foray-into-bitcoin-with-braintree-unit/On Monday, eBay announced that Braintree, the company’s payment processor subsidiary, would begin accepting the virtual currency in the “coming months.”
-snip-
While users will not yet see Bitcoin integrations in eBay’s marketplace or on PayPal, Braintree’s customers, which include Airbnb and Uber, will eventually be able to start accepting Bitcoin if they desire.
-snip-
Braintree’s announcement is a step toward the complete acceptance of Bitcoin in the eBay universe, said Ready, who noted that the company wanted to ensure users’ safety and security before taking the plunge.
So, it looks like eBay or Paypal will not be accepting bitcoin directly in the near future, but they will start testing bitcoin payment with Braintree and see how it will work.

Isn't this the same with those Enjoy, Sochi addresses?
Advertising transactions that just bloat the blockchain since they always end up being invalid?
Yup. Indeed, it seems all of the transactions are attached with standard fee (0.0001 btc per KB) and many of them are confirmed already. But yup, these spam transactions bloat the blockchain.
