201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 23, 2021, 11:41:16 AM
Conor's chance in this fight is just to survive in the 12 rounds if this is a 12 rounds fight, no chance of winning as Pacquiao would not allow that to happen. This is a good fight if it's not an exhibition fight (which I think it's not) because this will add in the resume of Pacquiao just like Mayweather.
Everyone is talking about this fight because of the popularity of the two fighters but if we ask people about their opinion on this fight, the answer is unanimous, Pacquiao wins without a doubt.
Undoubtedly, Conor is unlikely to be able to withstand all 12 rounds of the fight, but I have some doubts that it will be 12 rounds, and not let's say 10 rounds. As for McGreggor's resume, it's a fight with such great boxing fighters as Mayweather and Pacquiao. But there is much more doubt about the positivity for Pacquiao's resume, unless it is an additional way to attract attention to yourself in the light of rumors about the beginning of Pacquiao's political career.

If we will be seeing a Manny Pacquiao in a good condition, I will be betting this match will end at Round 6 or 7. Since we knew how Manny already passed his prime, for sure we will not be seeing the Pacquiao in the past but still, I am looking at this as a knockout win. Manny is known for his deadly combos and fast movements, unlike Mayweather that would just avoid hits and attack at a certain point. I agree that if this match will be taken head-on by both fighters, it would be an early knockout by Manny.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 22, 2021, 11:40:28 PM
I guess what other people see in this match would be their curiosity on how these boxers would be doing if they will be fighting his boxer. Even though the results of these exhibitions match can be told based on the experiences and records they had, people still want to see what would be the fight look like, the reason we can just see it as a way to earn themselves a million.
Curiosity in the sense of what if MMA fighter won over the boxing champ?
...

Well, no. As a fan of boxing in the past, I do some PSP games called Fight Night and I would match Manny Pacquiao with boxing legends like Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, and I know the fact that they are in Heavyweight but the curiosity of how will that match go, that is what I mean. We all know we will win, and I think they are just curious how will defeat McGregor and how is he doing at that age closing to his retirement.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 22, 2021, 11:34:44 PM
You know, scammers really like newly innovation things approved by the government, its very clear to the  blind and audible to the deaf that corona virus vaccine is free across the countries, so scammers are creating means to fraud some people by giving them wrong information about sells of corona virus vaccine so that they will be able to sell their fake drugs or vaccine in the name of world health organization ( WHO) approval, which is absolutely wrong, how can it be possible to purchase vaccine with one thousand dollars ($1000) what of bitcoin while government is handling the issues of corona virus everywhere.

Yeah, that is just right but the worst thing here is that people are still buying those fake vaccines even though they already know that purchasing vaccines on the dark web is so risky. I know that people are desperate but are they really that desperate to buy vaccines through the dark web and not  in the actual hospitals or medical institutions?
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 22, 2021, 11:12:41 PM
I think Bitcoin really helps the poor, I say that because there are so many articles that tell the story of a person who was in financial difficulty
suddenly becoming rich, after investing in Bitcoin. Therefore, there is a lot of news that says that Bitcoin can provide instant profit, and this is
quite misleading in my opinion. Because people who make it rich from Bitcoin are not obtained instantly, but usually requires a long process.
Then another reason that Bitcoin really helps the poor is Bitcoin can be used as a source of income, and it happened to me. I managed to improve
my economy for 5 years of trading on Bitcoin.

It may apply to you but I don't think poor people would be able to invest and trade crypto currencies that easily as they are already poor. At this point, these people would focus more on working their ass out since their family needed it. There are a lot of poor people here in our province and I don't think trading bitcoin would be their thing. Most of them take things for granted and some are used to the help of the government. They are not making ways like you to earn money, as I said, they are taking things for granted.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST GAMBLING MOVIES OF ALL TIME on: January 22, 2021, 04:43:03 PM
To be honest I am not a fan of gambling movies but I do love some parts of movies that had gambling clips on them like The Hangover where Alan did what he's reading in his book in the casino. Although my all-time favorite is still 21 which I am still watching until now. It is not my favorite though but I also watched Casino Royale.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 22, 2021, 03:55:37 PM
Not that much to be honest. Most of the funds I have in an online casino quite low so I stopped last week. It is a loss for me but I think it is that much to say at least. I would say that the bets I've done starting this year is quite in the red and I think it is a great idea to stop my bets since the price is also increasing, nothing happened even though I held my funds.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 22, 2021, 03:09:08 PM
There is not much difference between Manny Pacquiao vs. Connor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul. They are both fights purposely arranged for the sake of money and nothing else.

I am not even sure of the entertainment side of this. I think I will definitely be less entertained by a fight between a real boxer and someone who is not a boxer than a fight between two boxers with proven track records inside the boxing ring. But I guess this is what some others want to see, a kind of a funny show.

208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin? on: January 22, 2021, 03:05:47 PM
I'm pointing out to disadvantage I possibly can affect bitcoin. Volatility and Flexibility. Bitcoin being volatile can be you biggest asset or greatest enemy because it would solely dependent on how you play the flow of the price so being disadvantageous or not would be case to case basis. As to flexibility small scale business can't still adapt to using bitcoin due to added transaction fees which will make the product more expensive than usual.

In terms of flexibility, there are those exchanges that accept transactions without any fees and it is almost instant. The problem though is that you should be using the same exchange or mobile wallet. Coins.ph do that service so I don't think he is a problem if that is the wallet people are using. But still, transaction fees and transaction time is a problem to some.
209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is down a lot on: January 22, 2021, 02:11:24 PM
I don't think you should think about that one company that invest in bitcoin since there are a lot of other people out there that can make a move that could also affect the price. Another thing is that we've been having a price increase for a period of time and this price decrease that is happening might just be a correction.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: January 22, 2021, 02:08:22 PM
That would be the case and that is not just this year or the next, it's been that way for a long time. The problem though is that there are a lot of opportunists that take advantage of those people lower than them. That creates this great gap making those poor people so far from the middle and middle from those rich people.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: January 22, 2021, 11:56:23 AM
Coronavirus was spared rapidly than previously. Everything we can do now sits tight for the antibody which can be declared any time in 2021. This pandemic may unsafe for the human however not for bitcoins. On the off chance that the subsequent lockdown happens, it will influence the economy again which leads the bitcoin value all the higher. Because of the lockdown stock exchange went down and individuals sitting home check out bitcoins.  That's what happen back in March and now today we can see the bitcoin price which is higher than 2017's price.

Well, I think we can still do things other than wait for the vaccine to arrive. It is not that easy to do but taking care of ourselves is one of the best things to do. We can't avoid going out especially if we are working that is why we need to strictly follow the protocol since if you ever catch the virus, that would be so expensive to be in a hospital for so long.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 22, 2021, 11:34:14 AM
I've never thought that actually this kind of strategy in my fantasy has ever existed. But doing the strategy will really cost them money at first and it's a big syndicate back then having that amount because inflation wasn't yet a big deal by that time.

Do you think this time that a group of people will remake this strategy? for me, I don't think that there will be.

No it cannot be done again, the Lotto company increased the amount of numbers,
so the amount of combinations increase!

First it was a 6 numbers out of 36, then they expanded to 39, now it is 47!
Okay then.

That's a lot of change and for sure other lotteries have been finding out some solution if there will be groups that are gonna try this strategy out.

I guess they have this under control the fact that there are a lot of people still not doing this strategy. But let's consider the fact that the price of lotto is increasing which means that if they will be doing that strategy, they will be waiting for the big prize so that they could earn a profit. Is this legal if tried in the Philippines?
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 21, 2021, 11:30:16 PM
A sure win in this strategy but that means that it is also not that easy to execute. As far as I know, there are a lot of regulations or limits when it comes to these lotteries. For example, having a limit to certain tickets an individual can buy. Some buyers of tickets even thought of this strategy as a cheat but for me, it is not a cheat the fact that you are just increasing your chances of winning.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 21, 2021, 10:17:27 PM
...

McGregor wanted this fight. That just means that he is aware of the match being unfair which supports the fact that he is not just after this fight but after the fact that this match will generate millions and millions of money. In terms of retirement, I don't think this will be his last one. There are a lot of times that people are talking about retirement but Manny is just looking at what he can do as long as he's still kicking.
There will be a mismatch given that they are from different leagues. This ain't street fight wherein a player would only consider skills. Rules, capabilities and kind of training would matter. But as I've said, I doubt any of this player would aim for the victory, they know to themselves the gap between each of them. This is more of a 'celebrity fight', hoping you guys are already getting my point. Won't make a speculation on who will be victorious, but will rather enjoy the fight.

Considering the mismatch, we all know how will the match go but as you've said, speculation seems to be interesting since with the aging Manny Pacquiao doesn't have that many fights in the past unlike McGregor still active on the octagon. I am more interested in seeing how Manny Pacquiao changed his style from his last fight.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin uses $25 million of electric a day on: January 21, 2021, 10:11:06 PM
Why are they pushing bitcoin into this like bitcoin is the only thing? They don't even have a good source about it and let's be honest, there are a lot of buildings/factories that do worst than bitcoin. They don't even consider that there are a lot of bitcoin miners that wanted to use natural energies the reason a lot of them also uses solar energy.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best to inheritance of btc and crypto on: January 21, 2021, 02:03:10 PM
You could just put it in a safe and keep the key or the password for yourself then add it in your last will testament. If you don't like that just tell that family member to open or go to a certain place in your house and take what is inside when you died, there are a lot of ways to do that and I don't think that would be a problem as long as you ready for it.
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: January 21, 2021, 01:39:35 PM
I consider cryptocurrency to be really money because I have bought things using Bitcoin several times, although my country prohibits using crypto
for payments. But there are always ways to spend my crypto. Because now it is very easy to spend our crypto, because more and more merchants
are accepting crypto payments. With crypto being used like fiat, it's no wonder many crypto users think of crypto as really money.

Even though people are not seeing it as money, I do agree that it is money because these days, there are a lot of people, merchants, stores, and platforms that accept it. If this continues, there will be a lot of people that would be using it and would expand its acceptability which we all year in the past, its adoptation which is happening slowly right now.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 21, 2021, 12:32:36 PM
I am seeing a lot of people that would be helped by this. I am from a province in the Philippines and to be honest, the population that uses banks is not that high. There are a lot of people that own an ATM but they rarely use it in terms of using bitcoin though, the problem surrounds the fact that most people are not that literate when it comes to these technologies and seeing them in the news that it is a scam builds the idea that it is a scam.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 21, 2021, 12:26:24 PM
I think it is not quite fair with this fight. If we are facing a two different athlete with different sports on their field this is quite uncomfortable to them well Manny will not fight to McGreggor in this Octagon, BUT if we see this in vice versa what if McGreggor vs Pacquiao in a boxing ring it's a good thing still this is impossible unless they will release a large amount of money. AFAIK for this upcoming match of Senator Manny, he is going to retire its been a long year he is fighting to the Filipino Pride I think this is the time he will give the spotlight to Donaire.

220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 21, 2021, 10:42:16 AM
Fighting the greatest boxer is one of the best achievement what a boxer can possibly got but I believe that's not what Mcgregor aim since for sure as the  other user quoted in this message said he truly aims to get a millions of dollars after  this fight, For sure he knows that he can't defeat Pacquaio on this match but still its a win-win situation for him since he will still go home happy  with his millions  plus he will be listed on history that he fight the greatest boxer on this  era.

Sports are now getting more into the business way of things. I know that they have their ways of practicing and dedicating their lives, persevering every pain and wound in their bodies every game but is it worth it that they are now aiming for the money and not for the pride and the honor they are getting after winning every matches?
