If you know about it then bitcoin is open source and nobody has central control over it which means any decision to make some amendments in the code will require conseus of more than 51% of the community and the changes are subjected under Blockstream's developers who made the final changes to the code. |

I lost 7k to this casino on single deposit and all I got back was 80 dollars. After that I closed my account as livesupport told me that there is nothing they can do for me. For me it was most horrible experience ever.
That's part of the risk upon playing not only here but in any casino so you must be responsible on things you do, maybe you are frustrated for your loss that's why you say this so maybe next time gamble with extra precaution and don't gamble more if you notice luck is not on your side since if you push it you experience this again and look what happen you lose a lot of money for that unfortunate situation happen to you. Actually he has reason for his disbelief as you said you are new to crypto but you have been here for past 114 days with just 56 posts out of which the most common boards are gambling,off-topic, politics and society in which you have consumed much of your time on forum. Then if you go through your post history then the first two pages are just one to two liners of spam posting without any much useful contributions on which he has commented. Watched on YouTube on how to grow in the Bitcoin forum which catalysed me to asked this finally.
Which YouTube video you are talking about that catalysed your interest to grow on the forum? Providing a link would be good as most of shill youtubers are giving away crap knowledge about crypto and bitcoin especially.So don't get distracted by them but check out the Andreas YouTube channel which will be of help. You have deposited 7k to wager and then lost them on any bet but claiming that it's casino fault is silly on your part.You are gambling not investing so you should play in your limits otherwise blame games on casino is of no help. This is a real picture of users blaming casinos for their greed and carelessness. Gambling is no investment you only wager an amount you can comfortably lose. I think Ruximix got the ideology of most rewarding wrong. Maybe the user is feeling he might get back his wager if he losses them. But no casino guarantees you this after all. Gambling is for the financially matured . I'm feeling generous today, so you got some merits that you can give out to a post or two that you like--and that's basically the criterion for why merits are distributed (or at least it should be).
You feel generous most of the time helping them to reach next rank which is why you have the name on this list and we are familiar with your meriting policy also. OP, you weren't here back before 2018 so you probably don't realize how bad this forum was back then before the merit system got created. It was a measure taken by Theymos to curb the rampant shitposting by members in sig campaigns or bounties and to make it nearly impossible to farm accounts, i.e., create a bunch of them and rank them all up just by posting enough to gain enough activity.
This merit system implementation was of great help to the forum to some extent as many of the shitposter who were unable to rank up left the forum rather than choosing to learn and make quality contributions to the forum.But still spam posting is there on forum but the aspect is accounts which are legendary or hero without a single merit but with lots of activity can't grow over the forum.So they will not be able to join any campaign also as most of them demands some earned merits in past 120 days.Overall implementation of this system is applauded by most of the forum members. |

But i would say if you have been around here for so long you must be aware about these self congratulatory threads are deemed to be of low quality so there's no fun of making them.This is because many members reach new ranks at different times and if every one of them start creating these then B&H section will be flooded with spam threads so avoid them and keep your effective work on the forum.

Pretty bad that you've scammed from a fake chipmixer onion link and the amount is really a big money.
Falling for such scams and losing your hard earned money is pretty bad feeling but it also gives us as lesson to be be extra cautious next time doing all the necessary steps.The amount could be small or big but it should never be gone to someone who does not own it. Considering that OP is "new" to almost every tool he used - tor, btc and chipmixer as stated - it's no surprised that he/she ended up being scammed. I did a quick search for "chipmixer" / "chipmixer onion" on DuckDuckGo[1] and on both results the only "real" link was the first one. All the others were misleading to the trained eye but considering OP experience (they replicate the design of the original website as expected) it isn't a surprise to fall into these scams.
These fake websites are always present but you should always know which one is the legit link as you have already shown so many chipmixers links that will redirect you to some fake website and when your deposit your funds for mixing they will be gone like in the case of @OP but you can turn off the google ads in order to remove these from showing up on the first pages and you will have legit links. There was fake chipmixer website in the past with different extentions and here is the forum thread for it : [Warning] Fake Chipmixer websiteSo there will always be such malicious apps or websites present of some famous service but you should look out for them carefully and remember to go on the right one as directed by members above.Sorry for your fund loss but be safe in future. |
