2061  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling Review Site on: July 31, 2022, 11:02:23 PM
Nowadays, a huge number of sources of information have appeared. However, quantity has replaced quality, and it has become difficult to find a reliable source. Thank you for the initiative in finding good online casinos for ordinary players!

A lot of random information exists online so a new player can easily be misled. It is very difficult to find a reliable source from all this information. Websites that do listings are more likely to be interested in paid listings. As a result, they are less likely to list a website after researching it properly. So I think this forum is a good reliable source, because there is a lot of detailed discussion about casinos and users share their experiences.
You can’t just rely for the gambling review sites for your own referral. Mostly are paid right now and that the quality is already ruined by the greed for money. It’s much better if you go on the profile itself as there are feedbacks there that you can somehow rely on. Or always prefer for this forum as your source of legit information as this is more reputable and reliable than those other existing sites.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 31, 2022, 09:55:04 PM
I will agree though, specially those streamers that shows very huge win, in the millions of dollars that maybe some will go and try it for themselves and see how their luck will be.

On the other hand this streamers though could be paid so obviously, the results might be rigged so that those watching are going to be attracted. So it's a win-win for this streamers and the casinos or games that they are promoting.
I guess that’s how streamers are made on purpose, so they can always attract new players and the house will always take advantage on their money. Although there are streamers that are simply made for awareness, but mostly in streamers where they advertise huge wins, it’s either those winners are greatly paid or in some cases, those winners volunteer on their own.
2063  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: July 31, 2022, 09:33:05 PM
~
When I gave up was one one review site rated 1xbit so high. It was then I became convinced about the biaseness and shady deals that are done behind the scene to deceive us.

Review sites are being used as a marketing tool by casino owners, as we know, newbies always use review websites before using that. And when they sees good ratings then people agrees to use the website, this is the reason why scam like 1xbit are still in the market. Because they keep their good rating on the review website and newbies visit their website to gamble, and then fall into scam.

I personally do not trust any review website and always look at  forum profile to make sure they have no negative feedbacks

Not only that but review sites (or at least most review sites that I know of) are basically scams which offer to give glowing reviews in exchange of money to some online gambling casino they have never even heard of, researched or tried out. This includes scam casinos that aren't actually casinos. Although they are a bit more careful about that due to the fact that in some cases they can be held legally accountable.

Still, either way, review sites are the worst. I would not trust them either. Some people are gullible and believe everything they read there, though. What a sad way to lose money.

Best thing you could do is do your own research.
Precisely. With research, you will know that these turned to be good casinos are certainly those scam casinos that you need to avoid in the first place. Review sites are already controlled by them, as they always leave good impressions made by some paid users, otherwise they would not gain any customers at all. Although I’m not saying that review sites are not longer reliable, but in most cases they are almost made to lure new players.
2064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 31, 2022, 08:56:30 PM
Gambling makes you happy unless if you always winning in it , but if you're not a pro and your just basing your luck on daily basis then i don't think you will be happy and it will become your stress reliever after all. Lol many people are frustrated in gambling and that's the truth, wherein these perspective is clearly for those who have good experienced in gambling only not the majority of all people who use to gamble.
That is why a gambler should know how to set limits for himself as he is not bound to win all the time. Mostly, gamblers fall into depression because they always anticipate their losses, regardless of how far their funds can go. If they can gamble with discipline, whether they are pros or not, gambling would still be profitable in the end.
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 31, 2022, 08:14:45 PM
So all of a sudden, Draymond Green becomes the center of attention the last few days. Now there's more. He wants a 4-year max contract extension. This means he will be paid $164 million for the next 5 years or around $33 million per year. His current contract would be $25.8 million for the next season and a player option worth $28.5 million in the following season. Draymond is too full of himself. Although he is a very important piece of the team, he is starting to decline with his low stats performance in the last season.

And Draymond also mentioned that he is willing to explore offers from other teams should the Warriors' management not be interested in a max contract extension. Do you guys think Draymond is worth that max extension? His current stats are not even worth his current contract if I were to say, but I got it, the management do not want to break the team's core.

Due to their good chemistry, I think he deserves to have a max contract because he is a big part of the success of the Warriors. Though his performance has declined there are some games that he really contributes big to win. It's not only about the stats IMO, it's more about the impact in the team, and we cannot deny that without Draymond, the Warriors defense will struggle.
Draymond is one of the most confident people within the Warriors team and yeah, he's definitely a big part in the previous success of Warriors. So i guess its not impossible if he can have that max contract. After all, the team needs his potentials and without him as part of Warriors, that will be another loss of the team. Just imagine if he'll be playing in another team, then let's anticipate that Warriors will face another struggle to replace Green just as relevant as him.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 31, 2022, 07:57:43 PM
Gambling is already not allowed in a number of countries, but how do you want to ban that completely and then also control it? I think that's a hopeless job to be honest. As a player, if you live in a country where gambling is prohibited, it is quite easy to play with Crypto and using a VPN on a gambling site that does not ask for a KYC and the ban is quite easy to get around. There are countries such as Spain where online gambling is not allowed but where you have many local shops where you can gamble. Also quite strange of course that it is allowed there and banned online.
I guess no matter how a country's government is very tight on gambling, gamblers will always find ways to gamble, if not land based, then they can go online gambling. So its impossible to ban gambling by all means, although its possible to control it and put regulations, but banning it completely will never be happening totally. In fact, a lot of countries are benefiting are benefiting from the casinos revenues, so instead of banning, it will be much better to prohibit those minors and irresponsible gamblers to stay away from gambling.
2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: July 30, 2022, 09:53:03 PM
One analysis I've read, it says maybe we'll get something like a pump for the short term. He said that for short term he's bullish but these effects would still have to go into balancing eventually.

But with such news and everything that seems to be positive for ETH, I'm bullish on it and whether it'll be back to its former ATH. Then, that's good to hear and see but I'm optimistic with the upcoming merge and its effect to the entire eth network.
As merging is set to create better opportunities and positive feedbacks, then I’m also optimistic that the upcoming merging will certainly bring ethereum into its new all time high. Although no one can perfectly foresee what’s ahead for ethereum, but if this upcoming merge is for a better cause, then I’m rooting for it, and believe that it’s set for a brighter future for ethereum network and its community.
2068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will Never Fall Again on: July 30, 2022, 09:33:48 PM
Misinformation among the cryptocurrency communities is evident and will be rampant regarding newbies. There are a lot of people who are becoming a victim because of their lack of knowledge and self-research. Some people are lazy when reading facts and ensuring that they read suitable sources. Like here in the forum.

I do hope people would be more interested in the truth and verify that it's true or not. That kind of station should be somewhat penalized or something.
If bitcoin is also not on the side of the government, then there’s no way that the said station will be penalized for that. The presenter alone just based his knowledge on how the government sees it, and it’s not actually the facts that the people deserve to know. This is why a lot of people have been miseducated about bitcoin, because they never research on their own and do self study. Whatever they have heard from people on high positions, they absorbed it without weighing if it’s fact or a big lie.

2070  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: July 30, 2022, 08:25:15 PM
Do you think social media is now becoming more a place for business than socializing, Could it be as a result of digitalization and things moving online or more people now starting business online because of need to somehow generate income or another source of income for self to survive the economic situations which is becoming tougher?

I don’t see it wrong if social media nowadays is already an avenue of business. It’s where the people are, so it’s also an advantage if you rather make business with them as part of socialization. Creating business online most particularly in this new normal has already become a norm, and has been a huge success as lots of stories have proven that there is more money in social media rather than just being traditional.
2071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi is not dead, what is he doing? on: July 29, 2022, 08:36:58 PM
After reading so many topics that discuss who satoshi could be and why he would leave bitcoin from one day to another it made me think: What is he doing these days? It is really unlikely that he never ever came back to the forum again, just to read and look at the progress. Also it seems likely that he had at least one alt account that may even be sill active.
I don’t think it would still matter to us as to what Satoshi is currently doing. If he’s still alive, then he must still be following the progress in bitcoin, because that’s what made him great in the first place. While enjoying a good life with his own family, Satoshi must be happy and at peace where he is right now because he has been a great inspiration to everyone, especially for those who know about the brighter future of bitcoin and has been benefiting from it for so long.
2072  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Time to Buy or Sell or Hodl? on: July 28, 2022, 11:24:22 PM
Hello,
According to the marketplace, now is the time to Buy or Sell or Hodl?
Any idea welcomed.

Thank you.
The decision is all yours. You have to rightly assess if you want to buy more coins for future profits, or the profits you have right now is good enough to sell your coins. However, for most of us, I believe that buying more and hodling would be the best thing to do in this current market condition. Bitcoin is gradually in sale, so might as well take advantage on its discounted price. Because this opportunity we have at the present might never be available in the next couple of days.
2073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Industry experts believes BTC is primed to hit $106,000 on: July 28, 2022, 09:55:34 PM
I have personally seen different predictions from financial experts, from those who predict the complete collapse of bitcoin or a fall below $10,000 to those who predict btc to grow to a million dollars by 2028.
There is no point in discussing these predictions because we are not talking about facts here but only guesses or assumptions that are very unlikely to come true.
What exactly will happen in the end with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, I don't think anyone can say 100% and it's much better to think about your plans and strategies in the crypto market, and the exit strategy, because that's the only thing that depends on us.
Entering the crypto market without any plan and reading all these predictions and believing them is a path to disaster and not to success.

We should be focusing on our own plan and views about bitcoin and the crypto market. That way, we will never rely in all assumptions that are seen less effective in the future. Well, everyone is free to create his or her predictions regarding bitcoin and the crypto market, and that’s how the pros and experts are doing right now. But definitely, their assumptions have not yet been proven, so at the end of the day, we should only rely on our own thoughts and predictions to avoid making regrets and putting our blames on other people.
2074  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good idea how to make profit on: July 28, 2022, 09:34:36 PM
So if grayscale is one of tge biggest whale they know when and how market moves.
Then lets collect money and pay them and other big whales to give us correct info
I think if we pay them each month 500,000$ that will do

Wht u think ? Merit for sure good innovative idea here
Do you really think that there will be people that will participate in this idea? I don't think that there will be someone who's even willing to give his dollar just for that sake. And to say paying them "each month", are you that rich to sustain that?
Well, the market is volatile and they can't even see what's coming soon so it's nonsense and nice try though but that idea won't really work even if you're the richest man alive.
It’s like you’re giving those big whales much appreciation with what they mostly done in the market. And it’s look like relying in them could lessen our job here, is that what you think OP. Big whales are always smarter than they think, but actually they can never make correct predictions with this unpredictable market. All of us here only follow what’s on our minds, maybe through educational guesses, and big whales are not an exception to that.
2075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: July 25, 2022, 09:53:25 PM
I just don’t mind the dip anymore as I am now committed to buy Bitcoin every month through the traditional old-school dollar-cost averaging (DCA) method. BTC is for long term and I have regretted not doing DCA with it before because of being complacent with various altcoins (especially the pump and dump ones).

Regardless of the price right now, I’ll just keep buying every month with my extra “not beer” money.
That's certainly a good move, consistently buying bitcoin with extra money. At least, you have nothing to worry if bitcoin price will face a big crash in the future. However, if you can maximize your purchase when the market is deeply bearish, and that bitcoin price is in a big sale, that way you will make an edge and you will save much of your funds. In the end, everyone is free to choose in which strategy they feel more convenient to use.
2076  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loyalty Bonuses & Promotions on Crypto Casinos and Sportsbooks on: July 25, 2022, 09:12:24 PM
Just stumbled onto this thread and learnt some stuff that I never knew before. Great stuff op. This thread is useful for both newcomers and old-timers basically.

I feel that popular sites like Sportsbet, Roobet, Duelbits etc provide some of the best promotions in the crypto gambling world on a regular basis while newcomers like Livecasino etc are rising up the ranks in this particular aspect pretty quickly.

However, I advise double checking the conditions related to each bonus & promotion before trying to claim them.
Well, those sites you've mentioned have already build their own names so they're not just popular but also proven for giving best promotions to their players. However, if you are still new to these gambling sites, you should have study these promotions and bonuses first as its common that there are basic requirements before you can avail them. Although these are legit sites, but as a responsible gambler, you should understand the condition first under that promotion so you will be guided and that your money and time will not go into waste.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 25, 2022, 08:43:41 PM
Hey guys!

So I am interested in starting an online bitcoin casino, yet i have no idea how to start from.
I have a background in coding, and I know the in and outs of integrating crypto, yet i have zero game development skills, and i have no idea how much it will cost, and will it even get users.
Any help would be well appreciated! and looking for partners if anyone wants to start that.

Thank you!

If you want to start an online casino with zero game development skills, no idea for the cost, and no idea for marketing there is only one way to do this. You need some money to make it real.

You could buy a gambling license, buy a slots game license, and a good VPS. with that you could start your casino.

Or other way is to post in the services section with a bounty for a casino  Wink
I suggest you gain good experience first before you build your own online casino. Even if you have good amount of money, that won't guarantee that your casino will work as easy as that. It's always best that you are well knowledgeable first on the type of business that you are going to put into, otherwise if you can't work with small smatters, its impossible to expect it to succeed or make a progress. Yes, you could buy a gambling license, or any game license you want, but at least you should be a good player first since its always a good base to succeed.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: July 25, 2022, 04:58:56 PM
Me going home with empty pocket is not very entertaining at all. I don't think it would before majority of the people who has wife and kids. It may be for the rich who are not having money problems but finance is always the reason for wife and husbands quarrel, you get entertained in the casino but at home will not be entertaining.

The Chinese has distinctive look of things and gambling is among it but one reason gambling is ban in China is probably because gambling produces more dysfunctional families so they created an isolated place where only rich are able to gamble.

Gambling may be part of Chinese culture but I don’t see it compulsory for everyone. That is why even if the Communist party has banned gambling, there is still a city left where all gamblers are safe to engage in their pursuit. I guess this is done as part of respecting their ancestors culture as no matter what banning the government will do, there will always be people who prefer gambling in most of their lives. Although gambling is a test of luck for Chinese, but it’s still a clear evidence that people gamble to try out their luck and still aim to make fortune.
2079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Trends For 2022 on: July 25, 2022, 04:37:19 PM
Let me just add you that the resurgence of online casinos might be due to the pandemic. Everyone is at home and those gamblers wanted to continue so they go online and play and that's why the sudden downturn as far as numbers of gamblers going to traditional land base casinos.

But as we go back to normal, casinos are going back live now, I'm going to land base casino's at the start of the year and the last time I check, the numbers seem to be back. It's just a matter of preference now, whether gamblers who play online will go back to their favorite land base casinos because of the ambience, or play at the comfort of their home.
But I must say that even the pandemic has become the new normal, online casinos has gained more huge  success these days as gamblers are enjoying playing at the expense of their homes. While some of the people go back to land based casinos to gamble because there’s always a different ambience when you play seeing your opponents, I believe a lot are still gambling online because they also find it more enjoyable and convenient that way.
2080  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 25, 2022, 08:48:25 AM
As to maintain their costumers a casino needs to have regular running promotion and contest so that their costumers will stick to them since if they don't do anything then rely only on their fame for sure they will be out played on new doing their best to promote their business to more people possible they reached. Casino owners need to think something new or adopt to the trend to survive on this business.
It is known that it is way easier to keep a customer that you already have than to try to win a new customer which may already be playing at another casino, it is because of this that casinos are always trying to offer all kind of bonuses to new and their existing players in order to win them over or to keep them respectively, a casino that ignored such a thing will soon find itself without new customers coming and with their current players leaving for more generous casinos, and from that point on if the casino does not change their ways then their demise is almost inevitable.
If you can’t cope up with the competition, you will certainly lose in this game. Casino operators should be more resourceful at least and put new interesting promotions and bonuses as often as they can because that’s one way of keeping their old customers and gaining new customers as well. Because admit it or not, customers will never stick in old trend casinos, they will always look for new trends that will keep them excited to play. That is why online betting in casinos nowadays are more successful than physical casinos because there are more new promotions and bonuses that they try to embrace, compared to old plain casinos.
