2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From Janitor to Millionaire on: May 30, 2019, 10:11:05 PM
That is so great. People had their luck and their lives might be changed by it. I just hope this man would be able to control his self since the problem with people that became rich so quickly can't control their way of spending money. I don't know why is that but most of the people that won like that is said to have a curse. Is that true in your countries?
2062  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: May 30, 2019, 09:56:13 PM
For this market, nobody usually controls it, because this market depends on the demand and supply curves because it is like a market system in the past even though there are games from certain parties for their personal benefit so they try to control the market

It is like what you've said and it is true that no one can control the market since it is a decentralized currencies but there are group of people who can affect the movement of the market ans they are the whales. As I said, they can affect the market since they hold a huge number of certain cryptos and they will create a ripple when they move.
2063  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: May 30, 2019, 02:00:23 PM
Now we are in 2019, did Bitcoin make a step to be a leading cuurency?

What do you mean by that? Bitcoin is the leading crpyto currency in the market and I don't think there would be another crpyto that will surpass bitcoin. It will not make a step since it is already ahead of other altcoins in the market. It is now 2019 and it is still the leading currency despite that fact that it is been a long time since its release. It just proves how strong and patient its users and investors.
2064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in hands of whales - should be worried? on: May 30, 2019, 11:57:14 AM
According to BlockChain24.co, over the past nine months, the crypto whales have bought 450,000 BTC. You think is it any danger in whales holding so significant amount of Bitcoins?

They are the same as us that wants to earn profit from it. They bought 450,000  btc but within those 9 months, nothing really happened. You might think that they are manipulating the price, they can but they can't do it properly. Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto currency, there might be an effect on what are the whales are doing but I don't think we should worry about that now.
2065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 30, 2019, 11:16:47 AM
In addition to the exchanges listed on the CMC, there are many other exchanges. I have a question WHY do we need so many exchanges? What do You think the new exchange will be able to attract potential users?

Many exchanges in the market give investors a lot of options on where to put and entrust their assets to. More people involving themselves to cryptocurrencies and the market gives and opens up doors to new exchanges to engage themselves into. But, not all exchanges are decent and trustworthy, there are also many scammers introducing themselves as an exchanger and that we need to be careful about.

Well, there are a lot of legitimate gambling sites all over the internet and it is hard to just put your trust into others if you are really used to the exchange that you are using for a long time. Every exchange has their own features that other exchange don't have, they are unique and that makes it attractive to other investors or people.
2066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Nerd money or not? on: May 29, 2019, 11:26:46 PM
Does this mean I am a nerd? I don't think so. I am not a nerd, I am a normie, I know I am that is the reason I'm not a nerd and that can be a proof that bitcoin is not money for nerds nor currency that nerds only use. I think they are just calling that since there is a lot of things that should be learned and that they can't cope with that. Bitcoin can be used by anyone that wants it to use, it is not just for nerds.
2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with bonuses only on: May 29, 2019, 02:11:45 PM
They allow you to play using your bonuses but even if you have a run of winning, you will still have to make a deposit before they allow you to withdraw your earnings, some scam gambling sites are doing that, they will give you a bonus, let you win but before you withdraw you will have to deposit a huge amount of money, after it's bye bye, they will ban you and accused you of cheating.

We all know that new gambling sites with a high bonus offer can scam and therefore i never deposit on such sites. It is better to play on trusted sites with no bouns. Whats the use of such a bonus which cannot be withdrawn ?

This is the reason why I don't usually deposit or even search for another site unless a friend I know, a friend that can tell a legitimate gambling site from the others told me to gamble there, I would. Despite the bonuses, I will be gambling there since he said it and I know he will be joining me there. It is hard now to find a good gambling site that is the reason why gamblers usually stick to the sites they know. They are used to that site and more importantly, it is already trusted by a lot of people.
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 28, 2019, 12:08:01 PM
I know that it is important to know our customers, even in casinos, it is better if you are the owner and you know your customers, that will get you more since you are nice to them. But in online gambling, I don't think we should be needing one. I mean one of the reasons why people are using these crypto currencies are to keep their identities from being known, they want to be anonymous. I know that there are reasons for these but I will go with a gambling site without KYC since I want to gamble anonymously, it is the reason I want to use crypto currency.
2069  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: May 26, 2019, 11:59:16 PM
Some people have been against bitcoin from the beginning, they have been writing articles and saying all sorts of negative things against bitcoin, but we don't need to pay to much attention to these people, as bitcoin is unstoppable.

Well, it is fact that there are people who just spread FUDs on the internet to scare people from investing on it, some even say that it is a scam people had been using for a while now to fool people and get or take their money from them. If btc can damage the economy, then there would be a lot of countries that will not accept bitcoin or ban them but still, there are a lot of them accepting btc.
2070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 26, 2019, 11:40:10 PM
Well, Raptors defeated Bucks 100-94, I thought it would be this season where the Greek Freak will be the taking the NBA finals but it did not happen. They did good, I think all I know is there is a monster on that opponent side. I don't have a team to support now but since Raptors took down Bucks, I guess I will go with Toronto Raptors, starting to bet their team this final.
2071  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 26, 2019, 11:29:26 PM
I don't have a big source for bitcoin investment, I only use savings to invest, and in addition I also work on the bounty program.

I guess we are all the same, but I think most of us tend to use our own money. When I  get my monthly salary, I  usually end up saving them since my wife usually takes all the finances in our house, I am not a bad husband but that is what she said so we can save that money and use it on another purpose. I take some portion of my money before I save it and after a month, I will be using that to invest on btc or maybe some of the good altcoins in the market that I can invest in. And of course, some of my earnings here are saved but most of them also end up as an investment.
2072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 26, 2019, 10:20:42 PM
Bitcoin just jumped to 8,5k USD, with a new high compared to previous uprise, will this be the turn above 10k USD, seems to be easy for BTC this time

Well, it might hit it but let's not forget the correction. I'm posting this after I checked the current price and now we are at $8.7K, it seems that it is not stopping and it is a possibility that it will be hitting $10K if this continues. Seems that everyone needs to fasten their seatbelts and be ready to takeoff.
2073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out on: May 26, 2019, 03:35:46 PM
For the newcomers, its definitely a chance to invest in crypto and bitcoin. Although Bitcoin is at 8000$ but all the altcoins are near their all time low. So we can buy bitcoins first and then invest them in altcoins. As soon as bitcoin dominance decreases we will see big movement in altcoin prices.

Why would you buy bitcoin and use it to invest on other crpyto currencies? You can just use that money to buy the altcoins directly. You will just waste your transaction fees on that. Also, if I will be that investor, after I buy btc, I will never use thay nor sell it this time since the possibility of it getting higher is not 0, bitcoin is volatile so it's either pump where I want it or dump where I can invest again my money.
2074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2019, 02:17:02 PM
In my opinion, the government plays a very important role in the development of Bitcoin in a country. For example, a government announces that it will accept Bitcoin in that country, so I'm sure the development of Bitcoin in that country will be very fast!
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC
What do you think, the Government or the community who play an important role in the development of Bitcoin?!

Bitcoin's number one influencer and implementor would be the government. It holds everything about it including legalization and development of it. Once the government is involved, it would rather be so good or so bad. All things works perfectly if its on the bitcoin's side and vice versa.

It is true that the government holds the power in legalization and development but I don't think they are the number one influencer and implementor of bitcoin. I think that is still us investors and users, we are the still the number one influencer of btc. Also, even if the government banned btc, there are still ways to use btc but not in that country.
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: May 26, 2019, 01:17:47 PM
The biggest thing is to walk in with a set budget and don't go over that amount.  Many players have a tendency to keep saying just one more bet and before they know it their pockets are empty.  It truly is about self control and discipline.

But that can't be considered as saving since you are still spending your money in gambling. Setting up a budget can avoid big losses in general but we are talking about gambling here, destroyed a lot of lives and a lot of financial plans. It is really better if someone can just forget something and put the money into something productive, or else just save it in your bank account.
2076  Other / Archival / Re: Do any of you feel guilty? on: May 26, 2019, 12:12:58 PM
Over 90 percent of posts in the gambling section have gambling signatures, do you guys even care that you are preying on other people to lose their money in casinos.  Casinos aren't your friends, there goal is to take money away from you.  Do none of you feel guilt for advertising casinos?

This is your second thread about this, did you not understand in your first thread? It is their own choice to whether click the gambling signature we are wearing or not. WE have guilt, but you don't need to blame us for wearing this signature since we don't really persuade people to gamble in these sites, as I said, it is their own choice to maybe spend all their money in gambling and we can't control them because that is their choice.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: May 26, 2019, 11:20:10 AM
Most of the people are considering gambling is another way of money making one ...

At the beginning they might think about it, but later on they will realize that they are throwing money with their wrong intention in gambling.

Well, don't. There are a lot of gamblers I knew in the past since I am a gambling addict myself. They don't really realize the things they are doing by themselves, they realize it when someone tells them that they already are addicted to it. I realized it at first but I became ignorant about it, I thought I am doing fine since other people there are doing worse than me but my wife told me I am addicted and realized that and stop for my family. FYI, that "stop" is not that easy, it is so hard that even now I still gamble.
2078  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Market Stabilizing? on: May 26, 2019, 10:20:31 AM
The market is kind of stable and at the same time, I can say the it is stabilising. So, it kinda confuses llme. Since bitcoin climbed up to 7k, I have seen steady movement in its price. Although it's still trying to overcome the $8k mark. All I can take from the movement so far is that even with the market instability, it is on the verge of stabilising. Pulling from a bear Market can be tough.
We like better price than $8,000 but price stabilizing is good, however, we need to accept the truth that it will never last, we can expect a possible pump or dump that will happen in the coming days or weeks, crypto has never been stable, so its norms will be followed.

That is the reason why I can't say that this market is stabilized. Bitcoin is a volatile crypto currency, that is it. There might be times that the price of it seems to be stable but most of the time it dumps and it pumps. It is a decentralized currency so there is no way that it will be stabilized if there is a way I don't know how will they pull it through.
2079  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 25, 2019, 11:37:09 PM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa
I don't think it is like that before starting the investment with crypto currency, I think we already know the risk that we will get, one of the future developments will be rich in crypto currency investment, meaning investors are good at taking advantage of investment opportunities.

That is right. Doesn't mean the price of bitcoin dumps, they lost a lot. Loss is inevitable in investing and that is normal, and not be laughed about. I think the OP laughing about this means he knows nothing and what he only know is that the price drops and people will be regretting we invest in it. The OP posted this on May 1, as far as I know, the price of btc at that time is still lower, the price since then pumps and I think the OP is embarrassed by this.
2080  Economy / Economics / Re: The Continuous Printing of Money on: May 25, 2019, 10:59:30 PM
it's true that printing money is not an easy matter that can cause problems, of course this might have to be considered because their politicians are very cunning and greedy. for that the government is better off adopting crypto with a supply that is clear and cannot be multiplied

Well, we can't stop the government. All I know is that they are printing money based on the number they needed. If they will be printing money, as far as I know, the value of that currency will go down hence inflation will happen. I don't think the government will even consider btc or any other crpyto currency to use, they will never control it and people will be able to transact money without them knowing and they don't want that too.
