2081  Economy / Speculation / Re: The ship is sinking... Don't be in denial... get out now! on: January 07, 2015, 05:12:55 PM
It' pretty clear that in this first couple of months, it's going to $100... Don't be in denial... buy back in when it's around $100!

And the OP will slink away at the slightest hint of an uptrend.
2082  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get an avatar on the forum right now! on: January 07, 2015, 05:11:52 PM
Buy an old account with an avatar . Wink

Or wait for the new forum to be launched.  Smiley
2083  Economy / Speculation / Re: We leave 500. Target 200. Trade recommendation. on: January 07, 2015, 05:09:29 PM
The OP shouldn't be edited in this kind of thread. Smiley
2084  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: January 07, 2015, 05:07:45 PM
Haven't posted here in forever, but thought you guys might be interested in a prediction centered around $500 by June:

___________Bitcoin above $500 in June, 2015
Options: Yes | No

Sigh...
We were thinking about Bitcoin going to the moon a few months back!
2085  Other / Off-topic / Re: Good ways to make money on this forum on: January 07, 2015, 05:04:03 PM
The best way to make money is to join signature campaigns.

2086  Economy / Services / Re: [AMHash]Earn up to 0.1B a month[30 slots][Signature Changed] on: January 03, 2015, 11:10:41 PM
By my calculation, the payout day for those who enrolled on 17-Dec should be 1-Jan.
So the payout has definitely been delayed by a few days.
Unfortunately, OP hasn't been around since 31-Dec.  Undecided
2087  Economy / Services / Re: [AMHash]Earn up to 0.1B a month[30 slots][Signature Changed] on: January 01, 2015, 11:23:57 PM
AMHash,

Isn't 1-Jan the pay date for those who joined the campaign on 17-Dec?
2088  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China Bans 'Un-Chinese' Christmas Celebrations in Schools, Colleges on: December 28, 2014, 04:36:56 AM
Even though china is only communist in name sake they still have a very atheistic view of things.

Atheistic view isn't necessarily bad.
Too many wars have been fought in the name of religion.  Smiley
2089  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why all the hate for the welfare state? on: December 28, 2014, 04:33:49 AM
Providing basic amenities is considered okay.
The problem with "Welfare states" seems to be that they are rewarding laziness.
2090  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best antivirus? on: December 28, 2014, 04:29:20 AM
I use AVG.
Pretty satisfied with it.

I wonder if the North Koreans are thinking about taking down the torrent sites.  Grin

2093  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ndnhc: Potential Scammer on: December 27, 2014, 06:33:34 AM
ndnhc: Were you once in control of Watoshi's account?

Yeah, I had it way back.
The wallet problem is not exactly because of that. It is because of CLAM.

I gave it to magicbeans, since I knew him, and he isn't a scammer. I don't have any use with it, and I don't want to sell to some scammer.

Careful with the confessions.
Having alt accounts is considered okay, transferring accounts is frowned upon by some members.
2094  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is there so much poverty in Brazil? on: December 27, 2014, 06:32:48 AM
Corruption seems to be an underlying problem in most emerging economies.

Protesters all over the USA are launching a "I can't breathe" campaign

Doesn't seem to make any difference to the administration.
2096  Economy / Speculation / Re: URGENT, Bitcoin is on the verge of collapse !!! on: December 24, 2014, 10:05:33 AM
Yes I know,
but now is 100% the end,
just look, the world economic war has began,
Syria,Ukraine, crude-oil drop to apsolute minumum, gold also drop to minimum, Russian ruble drop to historic minimum,
The next is collapse of the USD.

When the USD colappses, it will be the era of Bitcoin.

it will be the era of physical gold

Bitcoin is the equivalent of e-gold. Both Bitcoin and gold can rule.

Too much soon for say this. More or less, gold is stable in terms of price, because bitcoin actually is so speculative. We have to wait 2 or more years to see a stable price. Actually bitcoin is only a very good way to do payment and transfer money to the foreign countries Smiley

Countries with capital control will not know what to do once Bitcoin becomes well established.
2097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value? on: December 24, 2014, 10:04:03 AM
I see quite a few posts of people predicting that btc will reach 2k this year, I just wondered what your reasonings for it were?

When gox fell completely I expected the price to go back up, but it seems to have just stalled around the 300 mark even after their dimise.

I am just wondering with all the other coins now out there, why do you think it will go straight back up and to 2k or beyond?

6x times in 1 year?
That is wishful thinking.
2098  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World WAR III on: December 24, 2014, 10:03:13 AM
World War III will be a war where there will only be losers.  Smiley
2099  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Microsoft bastards are uploading your private picture on the internet on: December 24, 2014, 10:02:29 AM
There is no such thing as privacy anymore.

Even for your private pictures ?

Read your EULAs. A lot of companies, like google, consider anything in your system if you agree to install their programs. Any online service states that anything you upload belongs to them

Do people read EULAs?  Grin
2100  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Murder or homocide if admittedly fooled into having anal sex with a man? on: December 24, 2014, 10:01:00 AM
You are a drunk, stupid, hormone crazed young serviceman strutting out on the prostitution nightlife for some nookie. You take a hot "chick" back to the hotel and screw her tight hole.

Suddenly you realize in your stupor you were having anal sex and she has a cock.

Repulsed into a rage you strangle her to death.

Murder or homocide?

My opinion is both parties are culpable thus frustrated homocide not premeditated murder.

So, "homicide" = accidental murder? Not sure if I can handle such high-level mental gymnastics this close to xmas.

Quick question:
Does "latent prejudice" count as a form of premeditation? After all, the hatred/disgust/whatever was just sitting there in the perpetrator's mind the entire time, like a ticking time-bomb, just waiting for him to get drunk so he could violently overreact.

I don't see any point in the US habit of distinguishing between premeditation and non-premeditation. It just means that the smarter the killer, the more likely they are to get away with a light sentence or none at all.

homicide = accidental murder?
There was nothing accidental about this guy's action.
