So it makes no sense to keep the site and faucet running. It is confirmed. My adsense account was not banned but my domain was disabled to serve ads for google.

The volume is higher than the DAO. That is unnatural, considering how much the DAO has been in the news. whales fake pump eth to make the price so high but whales don't give a crap about dao, they're sure don't have all the money in the world to give freely to all the scammers. eth itself have $4million at best of real liquidity of that fake $1billion marketcap It doesn't matter who is pumping the price up. You can always ride the wave and profit. |

All round positive effects but it will have to level off and counter balance sometime.
We've had years of falls or total boredom. I think we've earned a nice length of time where there's nothing but action. What follows after all this action also matters. Hopefully not a period of disappointment for all those who have been attracted to Bitcoin recently. |

Although market cap is important, people tend to place more emphasis on price/bitcoin landmarks.
An ATH in bitcoin's price would attract a lot of attraction, whereas an ATH in market cap might not.

We will see what is gonna happen, some people are saying there will be a price increase and some say its just a speculation that its gonna happen.
The bitcoin is unpredictable no one knows what is gonna happen I honestly think its gonna rise but nothing is sure at the moment.
We're pretty sure it's gonna build up a rise till the halving, as probably everyone is buying up. It's almost June, and we've broken into $500. It'll shake up a little IMO but in the end it's gonna go up to say, $600? It's really a nice movement that price breaches $500 this days eventhough it can't be linked to the speculations of halving. Now imagine what more after halving established it's final output. Id like to see around $500 as new bottom once we enter the halving effect. That is really realistic to happen. lol i'd like to see $2000 as the new bottom in my opinion much more realistic than $500 Just because we had a good week, it doesn't mean that we are going to the moon again. The tide will turn once again. |

The price of the Bitcoin is not rising that fast and we have to wait for a long time until it will reach that high value but maybe it will reach it next year and that is nice if that is possible.
But it will reach for sure in the end of the year the $500 I am for sure that it will happen.
We still have 6 months to go. That is an eternity on Bitcoin's time scale. If the bull run gets started, you can expect $800 very quickly. |

indeed , with 200$/BTC i would be able to buy tons of it again and sell it now with 450$+/BTC, instant profit. that chance has gone forever though and pretty soon the chance to buy at <$500 will be passed as well. I can say its happening now see the price continuesly rising for this moment and thats very good and i really want to see go up for more and hope no one will stop for his rising, bitcoins halving is really trending now because there many people believe if they save they can earn big money and thats what happening now i think many people are start to buy more and more now beacause the countdown for halving is nearly to be done people start saving and staking more they can well let see how much price will its stop for this time. I think what is happening now is the opposite, the price today has really increase compared to yesterday. Can we see some panic selling of bitcoins or not? Why would there be panic selling? Sell before the price increases further? Only when it drops sharply will there be panic selling. |

LTC is up to 3 quid.

Every alt coin is priced in Satoshis on the exchanges, if Bitcoin rises and everybody held their coins, the value of alts would go up WITH BTC. And not only that, but if they held them, the alt marketcaps would grow and it would add more value and liquidity to the cryptosphere as a whole.
The problem is not all will hold their coins. So the price of alts in satoshis usually decreases when Bitcoin is on the rise. So if you don't want to get singed, join the herd. |

What 'other' coin? There does not exist a coin which can double your investment in 2 weeks. If coins are generated at such a rate, they will soon become worthless. |

It depends where the buying pressure is from. If the people stop buying Ethereum to get into DAO, there will be fewer buying.
Not only that, DAO would sell ether once it starts running. Remember what happened to BTC price when all the coins collected in the Ethereum IPO were sold? |
