Chelsea vs Wolves.
Chelsea have not looked great so far, but I expect them to win 2-0. Wolves have played well this year, but their luck might not continue.
Chelsea have dominated the Wolves, winning 9 out of the last 10 matches against them.

"How is it that a single developer can deliver such an incredible suite when entire teams of coders have a hard time even delivering a functional wallet? How on earth has this project gone unnoticed, and why is it not in the top 10 coins in the world?"[/size]

The article is attributed to PRNewswire, and not any reporter.
It makes great marketing material but I will take such news with a pinch of salt.

I'm a big bay fan. Yes, what you say is true really. However, after reading people can research for themselves. I think although the title could be debated the content of the rest is pretty much spot on.

One of the nicest and hardworking devs on here.

With every published article people must conduct their own research.

Yup, that was my intention. Just pointing it out, to make sure people do their own research.
Yahoo and PRNewswire are too big to risk their reputation by publishing blatant promotional material.
With some of the smaller publications, you can't be too sure..
1223  Economy / Speculation / Re: Central Banks & Bitcoin - What if they start accumulating? on: February 18, 2017, 02:41:26 AM
I wouldn't be surprised if central banks are and have been accumulating bitcoin quietly/secretly. In fact, I would be more surprised if central banks weren't buying bitcoin. As much as they are hated, they aren't stupid. Even though they are driven mad about taking over the world, I think they do understand risk/reward just as much as we do. They certainly have the means and capital.

We dont know for sure are they doing it or not, but if they do they doing very good job in hiding this fact. Can say that they do or they just buying some small amount 1-2 then test it in different way maybe investing in some alt or something. There are also some rumors that bank are in developing there own blockchain dunno if this is true or not but believe that bank dont like this.

If they did buy, its impact would be visible on the price. Central banks deal in huge volumes. They have the ability to stabilize FX markets, where the market players are banks and hedge funds. So if central banks started buying bitcoins, the price would be in 5 digits now.

from the coins that we know and can predict i say Litecoin.
it is time for its rise and specially because of bitcoin price rise and also the fact that Litecoin will have segwit soon.

Litecoin and Segwit seem to be headed towards a controversy.
The number of blocks signalling support for Segwit in Litecoin is hovering at ~22%, which is lower than the support for segwit in Bitcoin.

1226  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Joinmarket - Coinjoin that people will actually use on: February 18, 2017, 01:58:45 AM
jjacob those sites are just frontends for the ob-watcher.py script in the main joinmarket repository. If you run it on your own computer you will observe the offers for yourself. However out of those two it looks like joinmarket.io hasn't been updated for a long time because it doesn't have the unit selection dropdown menu.

Thanks. I ran the ob-watcher.py script. Its output is totally different from the 2 websites I mentioned.  Grin
Guess I will rely on that to get an idea of the outstanding orders.
1227  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Joinmarket - Coinjoin that people will actually use on: February 17, 2017, 12:08:25 AM
Where can I get the best idea of the size of the outstanding orders?
I see 2 sites
http://joinmarket.io/
https://joinmarket.me/ob/

The number of orders on both sites seem to be very different
joinmarket.io/     - 886 orders found by 132 counterparties
joinmarket.me/ob/    - 94 orders found by 75 counterparties

Which is the right figure?
1228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hedge funds gamble on Mt Gox bitcoin payout on: February 16, 2017, 11:44:42 PM
$203,900,000 worth of bitcoin's? If they hand out even 1/10 of that it'll crash the price?

They might reimburse in bitcoins. And the people who get reimbursed might just decide to hold.
There are estimates that $300Mn might flow into Bitcoin if the ETF gets approved. That could easily counter any Mt Gox dump.
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Iconomi got dumped, who lost money? on: February 16, 2017, 11:41:18 PM
Its time to buy and not to cry about it .

regards

Buy? Why would you buy something which is not mineable? Iconomi might have already seen its heyday,
You can get hurt during pumps and dumps, but why would you want to be the ultimate bagholder?
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Iconomi got dumped, who lost money? on: February 16, 2017, 03:59:35 PM
There has been no real dump of Iconomi during the last 3 months.
The real dump happened on 25-26 October, when the price dropped by 60%+.
Post that, the rise as well as the fall have been benign, in altcoin terms.  Smiley
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 14, 2017, 02:39:14 PM
a good result, now chelsea just leading 8 points so that they can be pursued. I'm sure other teams like arsenal, man utd, liverpool, spurs will make a surprise that the title race more interesting.

Yes of some teams seem to Manchester City has bigger ambitions for it they do not want to lose points so that victory should be in the next game
Chelsea and Manchester City will compete for the title this season, Arsenal and Arsenal and Tottenham are under their.

The unexpected draw of Chelsea against Burnley gave some hope to his opponents.
The mancester City must get to direct clash against Chelsea with a lead of 6 points if it wants to try this comeback and win the Premier League.
But Chelsea  doesn't play the Euopee Cups and hardly lose more points.
I think Chelsea's draw against Burnley will not affect their advancement, Man City has very important match in the next round against Man United, but I still think that Man City are interested in the Champions League more than the Premier League.

We see, chelsea will meet manchester united and city in March and april later, if chelsea can win then I make sure 99% chance the champion there in chelsea. but I'm sure there will be a big surprise, that chelsea lost and finally down and say good bye for title.

The Chelsea's last match draw made this tournament very interesting. No one expected that result, but that results helps other teams to participate for the first position. And yes in coming matches if they make the same mistake we may expect a new team in the first place. I like Man United to see the first position in the list. But I don't know it is possible or not.

Chelsea have missed a chance to widen their lead. They must not have expected this result after taking the lead just 7 minutes into this match.
Chelsea dominated but could not take full points. The good point is that the other teams will now have a chance to catch up.
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I will issue my own asset using the existing cryptocurrency name can I be ban on: February 14, 2017, 02:27:16 PM
If I will issue my own asset using the existing cryptocurrency name can I be banned for the platform?

What is the best?

Counterparty +
Omni
Ethereum
Nxt
Waves (like Incent) +
BitShares +
..

Research them. Each of them have advantages and disadvantages.  You can actually issue your asset on all those platforms. I don't think is expensive, on counterparty cost 0.5 XCP and when finally decide use the best one that will fit your project most.

Do you mean start the same name cryptoasset every platform?
Funny if any exchange will accept this scam

Yup, exchanges will just throw you out. The problem is not with copyright violation. The problem is that the scheme is trying to scam people into buying a new alt using established names. That won't work.
In the real world, you won't be able to call handbags that you make Gucci and sell them on Amazon.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That´s the game-changer für the altcoin section on: February 14, 2017, 02:22:37 PM

So is this where all the R3 members will end up migrating to? It might not result in any change in valuations for ETH or any other alt, given that they are just going to use the ethereum protocol (instead of bitcoin blockchain protocol).
1234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh god, BTC might rise 25-50%+ within a month! on: February 12, 2017, 04:09:01 AM
It's been good, and don't be surprised. If the price goes down, then I would buy a bitcoin, because I am very confident that the price will soon go up. When I've fortunately around 20%, then I will sell, that's the strategy for get profit.

If you are looking for a dip to buy Bitcoin, you should first decide how much of a dip you are willing to wait off. I think the current prices are pretty depressed due to the Chinese news, and buying now might be a good idea.
1235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 12, 2017, 04:05:44 AM
Arsenal Vs. Hull City, I'm sure this match is hard for Arsenal, Hull City can beat Man Utd in the carling cup and beated Liverpool last week, a game Arsenal when lost with chelsea looks messed up, I think Hull City will win by score of 1:2. And once again "the tigers" make surprise in this week.

My bet is 2-0 in favour of Arsenal. Hull have had a good run so far. Nobody expected them to take any points in their tough phase - matches against Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal; but they have done well. Expecting them to win against Arsenal would be stretching their luck too far.

I think so, i know Hull is good now but Arsenal is better than  Hull, i think arsenal will win but no more 1 goal. so bet for Hull +2 @1.99 is good.

I got the 2-0 scoreline correct.  Smiley Got lucky there with the first goal being controversial and the second goal was due to a penalty, in injury time. Hull did give a good account of themselves in this match.
1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins tied to real world assets, currencies or countries? on: February 12, 2017, 03:56:56 AM
Hi,

I have heard about URO and and AuroraCoin.

Any other examples you can think of of altcoins related to a country or an asset?

Tether is the obvious one. Its value is always equal to 1 USD.
You also have XAUR, which is linked to gold.
1237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: February 10, 2017, 11:48:24 PM
And day after day price of Zcash fall down. It's very bad that in zcash market there isn't short position.  Sad
I have one advice for holders who mining and holding: sell this coin, or you will regret for your choice when Zcash will fall to 15 dollars.
It will get another negative trend soon. the miner still dumps the coin and I think it will equal with xmr. Or it will be useless coin in the future and Komodo is much better than ZEC. based on his development results.

Why are you looking at it on a per coin basis, instead of market cap? ZCash is valued at way below XMR on a marketcap basis. So saying it will become in line with XMR after a dump is meaningless.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Charna Coin on: February 10, 2017, 11:44:27 PM
What is going on with charna coin. Is this a good investment?

I believe if that's the new shit coin. If there is no review about them and you must avoid them for securing your money. don't be fooled to get into them.  Wink

You are assuming that the OP is asking a honest question and not trying to promote an alt.
I am always suspicious when newbie accounts start asking questions on unheard of altcoins.

Hello, how can i keep myself updated with coins that are pre mined or those having airdrops? Smiley

Thanks. Newbie here

You can have a loot at the Announcements (Altcoins) board on this site.
However, you need to do a lot of sifting if you only want to find out about airdrops.
