in one match again win, chelsea can new record in EPL

Chelsea managed a 4-2 victory in the match. The match was closer than the score suggested, with Stoke City drawing level at 2-2 at one point of time. The second half was maniacal, with 5 goals being scored.

1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pushing ETC to $2.00 on: December 31, 2016, 12:44:17 PM
I'm finally glad that ETC broke the cap of 1/10th of ETH, as it used to be for months. About ETC at 2$, that's more because of Bitcoin increase than of ETC price rise, but it is still worth mentioning it.

1/10th?? It is closer to 1/6th now.
The market cap of ETH is ~$700Mn, while the market cap of ETC is $125Mn now. There is still a lot of catching up to do.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature Campaign on: December 31, 2016, 12:30:00 PM
As we have made our pre-ANN about our project so we need to setup an signature campaign for same. What should we take into consideration?
And how do we create our signatures for different members level.

Our project link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1732589.0

Read this before starting a signature campaign.

Then
1) Start a contest to create signatures. Choose the best ones
2) Hire a good campaign manager.
3) You might need an escrow for both the signature creation contest and signature campaign, considering that you are a newbie.

Today the match between Chelsea vs Stoke City. matches end of the year will be very enjoyable.
This will be the final match of a great year, and in the match between Chelsea vs Stoke City, I would bet on Chelsea and I believe the score is over 1.5 goals with odds @ 2.23

I would expect Chelsea to win by a margin of 2+ goals. They are facing a team in the bottom half. Diego Costa and N'Golo are also available to play in this game. Chelsea would want to extend their lead, with Liverpool and Manchester City taking on each other.
1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you regret spending money on this year? on: December 31, 2016, 12:14:58 PM
Considering you could have used the money to buy bitcoins and essentially double your money instead, what purchases did you make this year that you are now regretting?

If you knew what you know now, would you have been more frugal with your money?

I blew $2000+ on a vacation earlier this year. I could have easily postponed it by a year and bought bitcoins with it.
This probably would have been enough for 3-4 vacations.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 30, 2016, 12:55:53 AM
Easiest tomorrow`s game will be Hull vs Everton

Will be an easy win for Everton, probably to nil

Hull are right at the bottom of the League table, facing almost certain relegation. Everton will be relishing taking on this team.
A victory by a margin of three or more goals looks likely.

Has anything changed in the past week or so? Joinmarket was working normally previously, but I get the following error now when I use the wallet-tool

I run Joinmarket on Ubuntu 16.04

blockr.io's certificate expired a couple of days back (on the 21st). Unfortunately they don't appear to have renewed it yet. You can verify by trying to visit https://btc.blockr.io.

Blockr.io's certificate seems to be back now.
So we can run the wallet-tool in the usual way now.
1309  Economy / Services / Re: [1 OPEN SLOT] Rollin.io Signature & Avatar Campaign on: December 28, 2016, 11:48:16 PM
Important announcement for campaign participants: Because the price of bitcoin has skyrocketed these past few weeks, this campaign is going to be decreasing the pay rates slightly. The new monthly rates per 50 constructive posts are as follows:

Hero/Legendary/Staff: 0.07 BTC
Senior: 0.05 BTC
Full Member: 0.025 BTC

Avatar rates will be staying the same (0.01 BTC per month for 50 constructive posts), meaning that if you're wearing the Rollin avatar, you'll be paid 0.01 BTC in addition to the monthly rate for your usergroup.

These rate changes won't affect your current pay period. They will affect future pay periods only. If you have any questions about these changes, feel free to either post here or send me a PM.

This is completely fair.  Smiley
I think you should also PM the campaign participants, to ensure that nobody misses this message.
1310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 28, 2016, 11:44:06 PM
1 match for today Premier League.
Southampton vs Tottenham Hotspur. Well, it will be a tough match for Hotspur, but i throw my money on Hotspur ML and i pick Over Corner kicks for this match. Tottenham match always have a big chance on over corner.
the odds for tottenham was pretty high but you shouldn't forget that while playing for away matches tottenham not really good and southampton home matches results was pretty good even liverpool cannot able to win against them and i think this match results will be ended by draw or might be both teams to score is good for this match

Tottenham showed why they are in the top 5, with a strong 4-1 victory over Southampton. Of course, they were helped by the fact that Southampton were reduced to 10 men after Nathan Redmond was sent off. They missed a penalty kick, but still had such a strong margin of victory. Tottenham are only 1 point behind Arsenal now.
1311  Economy / Speculation / Re: These are the good times. on: December 28, 2016, 11:39:06 PM
They happen every couple years. Enjoy it.

These are very good times. You wake up in the morning with an increase in your net worth, day after day.  Grin
I am sure there will be a correction in the future, but I am enjoying it while I can.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 27, 2016, 03:54:51 PM
Liverpool Vs Stoke City

Despite dropping points against West Ham, Liverpool home form is still formidable. Mark Hughes record at Anfield is very poor not winning any games for the teams he managed.
It is a matter of how many goals Stoke City will concede at Anfield. I am going to bet on Liverpool -1.5 and my prediction is 2-0.

Liverpool are rank favourites against Stoke. Liverpool haven't been fluent, but are title contenders all the same.
I would go for a 3-0 result in favour of Liverpool.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: December 27, 2016, 03:46:20 PM
If there is any platform being widely used today its ETH and just take a look at the tokens tuning under eth network. XAURum is just one of the many.
And one promising one which most of the traders are hoping to earn millions is the ICONOMI. this is going to dominate the crypto in the end so hold on to ETH.

Will the ETH rise soon?

NO.
bitcoin price is rising very fast and that will cause lots of dumps in all the altcoins, more specifically ethereum which has a big market cap. yeah that's going to bite them in the ass now.
right now there is another 5% drop in eth as of today and it is getting worse every day.

There are a lot of alts which have moved in line with BTC - Litecoin, Monero, etc. So the dumps in ETH are not necessarily related to the surge in Bitcoin's price. There is pessimism surrounding ETH which is why we have seen a slow spiral downwards.
1314  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Joinmarket - Coinjoin that people will actually use on: December 27, 2016, 03:39:01 PM
blockr.io's certificate expired a couple of days back (on the 21st). Unfortunately they don't appear to have renewed it yet. You can verify by trying to visit https://btc.blockr.io.

Thanks! I run the tool with the option PYTHONHTTPSVERIFY=0
No harm in that, right?
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jingle bells on: December 24, 2016, 05:58:50 PM
Jingle bells, LEOcoin fails, ZCash runs away. Ethereum lose, Swiscoin's shit, Bitcoin (& Litecoin) all the way.

Feeling proud for LTC, 25% and it's a lot to this day. Bitcoin gain a negative curve and LTC will gain the other power soon.  Grin

Both LTC and BTC had a correction already, it seems BTC is going to start going up again towards 900+ and who knows what the hell LTC will do. I think that people is going to continue selling their alts for BTC when BTC goes up. Im all in on BTC but I hope LTC makes a good pump too but im not gonna risk a single satoshi on no alt.

$900 is a given for BTC. There will be support developing at BTC for this level soon.
With respect to LTC, it is still too early to call. There is heavy trading volume (even more than Ethereum) indicating real demand from traders. I think this rise will be sustained and we won't see a reversal any time soon.
1316  Economy / Speculation / Re: Latest Price Surge Due To Delayed Halving Effect? on: December 24, 2016, 05:56:22 PM
Yup, I have also been thinking that we were due a delayed halving effect. It takes a while for people to realise there just less coins around.

If this is indeed the driver, it has taken a long while for people to realize that there are lesser coins being generated. We are almost into 2017 now.
Bitcoin's market is way inefficient in this case. In other asset markets, public information is priced in instantaneously.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2016-12-22] With Segwit, Litecoin Faces a (Soft) Fork in the Road on: December 24, 2016, 05:51:31 PM
Lee kept this in mind while making the Litecoin platform, in which 84 million litecoins are to be mined in total. He continues to retweet people who suggest that, instead of risking a split chain in Bitcoin due to an unpopular soft or hard fork, crypto-users use Litecoin for small transactions.

Wouldn't every altcoin creator love that? The alt's blockchain is used as a supplement for Bitcoin's blockchain.
Litecoin may be rising now, but its selling point shouldn't be that Bitcoin has blocksize problems.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin up 25% today! on: December 24, 2016, 05:46:23 PM
Litecoin once moved in tandem with Bitcoin, at a price of 0.01 BTC. That peg was broken and Litecoin was in the dumps ever since. In spite of the sharp rise over the past few days, Litecoin has still not reached 0.005 BTC. So I would say that there is still some way to go.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 24, 2016, 05:44:03 PM
Even if Aguero can't play, Man City should win this game handily. Hull are decent English players, but man city has the best players from around the world. I see Man City winning this 2-0 or possibly 3-1 pretty easily. Hull are definitely candidates for relegations as they can barely win home or away. Lay your money with Man City even though the odds aren't that great.

This is the final match ban for Sergio Aguero, after his red card against Chelsea. Hull will be missing players too, with Abel Hernandez out of action after a hernia surgery. I see Man City winning by an even bigger margin, possibly 3-0.
