1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Central bank of China meets exchangers for regulation issues of Money laundering on: February 09, 2017, 01:15:13 AM
Breaking.

breaking in your language must mean old.
Chinese exchanges have been meeting with their Central Bank (PBoC) for months now, it started a long time ago and they have been negotiating for a long time.

and your topics are always being deleted by mods because you are spreading bullshit from shitty sources.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-02-08/china-central-bank-said-to-call-bitcoin-exchanges-for-more-talks

Looks like we might see a correction soon.
Any news on further regulation of bitcoin or bitcoin exchanges results in the price tanking in China.
The rest of the world just follows suit.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the next 1000%'er? Are the times of getting rich with an alt over? on: February 09, 2017, 01:12:24 AM
Does anybody think ZCash can get there?
Its price is pretty beaten down now. And we haven't had a real pump although its launch had a lot of hype.
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero under scrutiny of the FBI on: February 09, 2017, 01:06:21 AM
To think I almost bought some Monero the other day. I wonder if this is going to hurt the price of Monero?

The price of altcoins is not affected a lot by such news. If anything, Monero could earn notoriety and its price could go up after such news.
Bitcoin has been under scrutiny for long, but it is doing pretty well today.  Smiley
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 09, 2017, 01:01:36 AM
Looks like Ranieri has chosen the B team for tonight's match. I wouldn't be surprised if Derby wins the match with a late goal in the 2nd half. I am actually going to have a small bet on Derby to win the game @ 4.5 odds.
Leicester City vs Derby County score is 1-1 at 64 mins right now. Leicester had a wonderful team goal earlier on in the 2nd half but Derby county just equalised the goalthrough a freekick. The keeper would have saved it but the defender deflected the ball in the other direction and became an easy goal. Might go over 2.5 the way things are going.

Two goals in extra time gave Leicester City a 3-1 victory over Derby County, after the two teams finished at 1-1 after the end of regular time. Derby gave a fine performance in regular time. Derby were lucky with a couple of referee calls as well, which helped the team maintain parity at the end of regular time.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 06, 2017, 01:28:10 PM
Damn Leicester City have gone from hero to zero in the span of 1 year. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they get relegated this season. Leicester just had all the luck in the world last year when they won the trophy.

I think so too see their performance this season did not deserve to be in the premier league
They are more worthy of competing in Division 2 about 11 games left this season Leicester city should do something if they want to remain in the premier league.

I am not sure that they will come back again there old form. They are playing too worst in this season and today's match again they proved it. Manchester United easily won the today's game by 3 - 0. The result was expected, but i thought 2 teams could goal. From this win, Man United got more confidence. The coming games will be more intresting. All the best Leicester fans to next games.

The Leicester fans will be a desolate lot, as the sword of relegation hands over them. The Premier League champions are just 1 point above relegation - doesn't speak too well about them. Manchester United scored thrice in a matter of 10 minutes to take this game.
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: New record being at 1000+? on: February 06, 2017, 01:21:00 PM
record bitcoin price in 2017 over 1100 dollar
this now bitcoin price in range 1010 -1050 , so not new record
my prediction in bitcoin price in 2017 can new record and incraese until reach 1200 dollar

But it hasn't held a $1000 price tag for a continuous 72-hour period.

It failed to do this in 2013 and it failed to do this a month ago.

But if it lasts about 4.5 more hours, it will finally succeed in this regard.

This time, it is different. The rise has been gradual and we seem to have more staying power.
If anything, the price looks like it will break out over $1050, rather than collapse to less than $1000.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we stop putting money in ICO? on: February 06, 2017, 01:17:53 PM
I think that ICO was escrowed so they not escaped away with the people money and I saw that lauda will refund the funds of investors. So it is important to participate in those ICO which will have escrow and we do not need to stop investment in legit ICO as sometimes some legit ICO need us and we need the profit.

An escrow might help to prevent the promoters running away with the funds, but most scams are not so straight forward. You could have coins being sold at obscene prices in the ICO and the promoters dumping the coins as soon as they get a chance.
1248  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Joinmarket - Coinjoin that people will actually use on: February 06, 2017, 01:14:09 PM
Yes, it is, but multiple orders *over the same amount range* are redundant. The taker code simply drops all but one of them, so in this case, the maker gets no advantage from it. It is irritating, because it spams up the message channel, but apart from that, it's not harmful.

Thanks for the clarification. I have seen a drop in number of coinjoin transactions entered into by my maker bot. I just wanted to make sure that is not due to these multiple orders and that they have no advantage over others.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: z cash future price on: February 04, 2017, 12:24:20 AM
the price will be not drop under $40
i think if we calculate the marketcap, supply and demand the price will be up again, look the stats of zcash mining, someone with huge power mining it and save it in his Z hidden address

Only a week latter ZCash is at $38.
I dont think at time of your speculation price was a lot over $40. So you give us quite brave speculation.

I do think ZCash will go under $20 this year.  But crash will not be such as was last year but slow and steady.

It is crashing, slowly and steadily. The price in $ terms is hovering at aorund $38, but if you look at in bitcoin terms, the price is slowly coming off.
There seem to be a lot more prospective buyers than sellers at exchanges though.

Joinmarket.io gives a list of multiple orders by a single counterparty. Is it possible for a single client to have multiple outstanding orders for joining joinmarket transactions?

1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero under scrutiny of the FBI on: February 04, 2017, 12:00:20 AM
The darknet, silk road and bitcoin's connections to it were scrutinized by the FBI at one point of time.
That has only helped in the growth of Bitcoin.  Grin
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins under 70K Valuation on: February 03, 2017, 11:55:40 PM
Slimcoin has a market cap of about 10.000-20.000 USD, but an innovative consensus method (Proof of Burn). It's rated so low because the client was buggy until recently, but a new version is coming out that fixes most bugs ... I say: big opportunity Grin

Is it there on coinmarketcap? I couldn't find it there....
Plus what exchanges is it traded on? If you don't have enough liquidity, a small investment could move the market.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 02, 2017, 01:51:44 AM
West Ham could have made a bad match today, gave too many defensive defenses and had 4 goals against City. Manchester City rated the attacks very well and found goals.

Manchester City kept scoring at will. West Ham would have been demoralized by the 3-0 scoreline at half time. All 3 of these goals were made possible because West Ham lost possession.  Grin
The fact that they conceded a penalty after being 3-0 down didn't help them.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGE] Will history repeat again? MOON on: February 02, 2017, 01:44:57 AM
sincerely i prefer doge to be stable at 20-40 satos than being used for a p&d or a toy for whales. Nonetheless Im pretty sure that doge will pump sooner or later so when that happens i would try to enjoy the pump

20-40 satoshis is a very, very wide range, You can't even call it stable. A lot of people will make money if the price is pumped from 20 sat to 40 sat. Doge will always be susceptible to manipulation, just like any alt with a moderate market cap.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 29, 2017, 12:33:05 PM
Federer win the first set 6-4 ! it's really an awesome game Cheesy
Nadal took the second set 6-3 and now its game on .

The lines of odds show in favor to Rafael Nadal but I think that Roger Ferderer will win this one.
I think Nadal will beat Federer . It may go down to 5 sets but I think Nadal will have the strength till the last moment and will be able to to beat Federer .

I too think Nadal takes the match, though Federer is in the lead with the winning of two sets. When the odds got closer for both the players predicted that Nadal wins and have used 0.1btc in the wallet for gambling.
Nadal couldn't do it . Although he took the 4th set , he couldn't hold the break in the 5th set and gave away the match to Federer . The match was very interesting till the last moment . Sorry for your loss though .

Federer defeated Nadal for his 18th Grand Slam title. He had to wait 7 years between Australian Open titles. It was an awesome game, going to all 5 sets. Federer defended a couple of break points to win his title.
1256  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wallet History on: January 29, 2017, 06:52:48 AM
Inside the config file.  Don't know the exact path for ubuntu but it's located one folder before the wallet files.
Open it in a notepad or something and look for "recently_open".  Delete the list inside the brackets.

On Ubuntu/Linux, it should be located at ~/.electrum/config I believe. Looking in the config, it is interesting that it also stores the console history. That could be a security risk if you do anything with sensitive data within the console. Good to be aware that those commands are also logged.

Thanks! That works.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin era over ? on: January 29, 2017, 03:58:14 AM
There are tons of altcoins are pumping on Poloniex now, IMO the altcoin era is never over, and maybe sometimes there is a pause, but it never stops.

Pumps and dumps do not constitute an altcoin era. Altcoins which truly bring something new to the table, increase adoption of cryptos and rise because of that constitute successful altcoins. Penny stocks/alts will always be around.
1258  Bitcoin / Electrum / Wallet History on: January 29, 2017, 03:46:01 AM
Hi,

I am using Electrum on Ubuntu. I have a few old wallets which I have deleted from my computer. But they appear in my list of recently opened wallets on Electrum. Is there any way to clear this list?
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [PASA] PascalCoin Account price speculation on: January 29, 2017, 03:04:03 AM
It is amazing what listing on a major exchange like Poloniex can do to an alt's price. The listing is something which would definitely qualify as Material Non Public Information. I am sure there must have been some insider trading which went on. Unfortunately, everything is legal in the crypto-space.

This is something sure. I would bet that the most powerful traders on Poloniex team up with the owners so they can know at the advance which coin is going to be listed and they certainly have some decision power when choosing the coins to add.

Neat and sure profit, by using this information. Just like the tax authorities are investigating crypto profits now, at some point federal agencies might investigate insider trading. But then again, it is very difficult to prove in a court of law.

ATP - SINGLES: Australian Open (Australia) :

Federer R. (Sui) vs Nadal R. (Esp) : everybody are waiting for this big game from those 2 legends players ! i'm really excited to watch this game i'm waiting for it . it's really hard to bet for one of them to win , i don't want to bet in this game but i want to watch those legends playing .

This is going to be a match which every tennis fan is going to watch. Rivalry always makes sports interesting and this one has endured over the years. I would say this one would be 50-50 as well.
