2081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Old Hacker news discussion about Bitcoin on: May 25, 2019, 10:28:00 PM
We can't blame them though, we haven't seen this kind of technology before, so it's understandable that people will question its intention and the impact it could 'potentially' bring to the world.

I thought there are a couple of digital currencies made before bitcoin right? They are a failure though so I think this is the reason why they are saying that. The technology of bitcoin is the reason why it became a success as a crypto currency, the blockchain. I think it is better to not suspect things without even knowing it carefully.
2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin hit 100k in 2020? on: May 25, 2019, 10:13:02 PM
Seeing the feat of bitcoin in the past reaching great heights and surpassing the previous ATH is so great. I can't believe it myself, it happened so fast. After that, I believe that there is no price that bitcoin will not achieve, it will just take time and patience. 2020 is a long time for Bitcoin, with its volatility, that is not impossible for bitcoin to reach $100K.
2083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS BETTING? on: May 25, 2019, 09:47:29 PM
Other than that if there are other Esports games also would consider like ROS, LOL, ML, CS, CF and etc.
Still haven't seen a sportsbook that does have ROS, ML and CF on their bookies.

As far as I know, there are betting site on ML as my friend told me, I can't remember the site though. There is a betting system in the game of ML where you bet on teams that are playing and if you win, you win currencies and you can use that to buy a skin, a hero and other things like exp boost, gold boost and upgrade for your emblems. The problem is that you are not betting for your fiat or crpyto but the game also gave you a currency you can use.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is needed for a gambler to the success? on: May 25, 2019, 01:41:50 PM
You basically could learn how to play poker and other skill based games while the luck based ones like dice requires multiple tries with hope for luck.

But still, there are a lot of gamblers playing skill-based games like sports betting and poker that loses. Gambling is a risk despite that fact that the gambler is either playing a skill-based or a luck-based game. Though I know some people that became successful in gambling. They bet on lottery and earned a lot of money which they used to start their own businesses. I don't know whether they are still gambling or not but the fact that they own a lot of businesses in our town, means they are already successful.
2085  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the Bitcoin is still down? on: May 25, 2019, 01:11:46 PM
besides patience to hold on to it, I think investor confidence must also be campaigned, so that price increases will be realized soon. Moreover, large company companies also contribute to using it, of course there will be a massive movement

Even if we are confident with Bitcoin, that has nothing to do with its a price increase. Unless you are a confident rich guy and will put all of your money into bitcoin. Also, I don't know if large companies are really contributing with this, all I know is that there are a lot of people that are using bitcoin and that can change the price whether decrease or increase.
2086  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: May 25, 2019, 12:56:15 PM
Investments are always risky. At some point, the entire ecosystem may be disrupted and bitcoin will not cost anything. It can also cost $ 1 million in the future. No one knows this. It is only important to understand the risk that you put into an investment.

Every investment you made is a risk, that is so true and it is not just an easy way to earn money since as you've said, no one knows what will happen, either the future holds a positive or a negative result, who knows? All we know is that as long as the profit in it's volatility is still there, we will still keep on holding, we will keep on trading and keep on investing.
2087  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: May 25, 2019, 12:41:28 PM
1 People should believe first in the potential of Bitcoin
2 Hacking should be stopped
3 Stop these ICO from scamming investors
4 Promote Bitcoin to big merchants to integrate it to their system

Well, that is a problem since there are a lot of people that don't even know what Bitcoin and crypto currency is. I remember telling these to my aunts and uncles and their reaction to it is nothing but a confused face. They don't know what it is until a news about it is aired talking about people being scammed and they are pointing that bitcoin is to blame.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Gold? on: May 25, 2019, 10:58:05 AM
Gold is physical, Bitcoin is digital. And that's it, both of them are valued highly

Well, there are other things to consider and not only Bitcoin being "digital" and Gold being physical. Bitcoin may be more expensive than Gold's price per once but not Gold's price per kg and I think bitcoin still has a lot to go. Also, investors favor Gold than bitcoin because of the stability of its increase and I hope bitcoin will be that too in the future.
2089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not money on: May 25, 2019, 12:19:45 AM
Well, bitcoin is not money, but bitcoin is a digital coin as an investment opportunity that can make double the money even many times, but if bitcoin is not used well then it might not benefit at all.

Double the money? I mean there are a lot of times that Bitcoin made that possible but not all of the time. Being positive is not a bad thing but we should not always say that since most of the people thought that BTC can actually double your coin instantly not knowing how volatile it is and what are the risks in investing in this crypto currency.
2090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 24, 2019, 11:39:24 PM
Lots of people entered into this field by the the force are the recommendation by their friends to gambling and I also came like that but after the the entry in gambling I will go to my only about the money making and gambling so till now it will be giving different kinds of experience in my life

I gambled not because my friends force me to do it but because I want to. In the past, I want to earn money and show my family that at a young age, I can earn money and help them with the finances in the house. Though I really worked hard, I did not help them but I just gave them another problem. That should be a lesson to gamblers.
2091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you prefer? Sportsbet or casino on: May 24, 2019, 11:09:51 PM
I would prefer sports betting since I love sports and while you are cheering for them, you are making bets to make it more fun and exciting. Especially these weeks where in the NBA finals is around the corner, bets starting after each conference finals will rise and that will be really fun. I don't distance those two, spending time and earning money since you can do both on gambling but we are all talking about gambling so your money is at risk.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 24, 2019, 10:53:48 PM
gambling for me is a way of fun. I don't play to earn money because casino always wins and only lucky one can take jackpot.

How is that fun to you? Even if you are saying that gambling for you is to have fun, what fun is that when the casinos are taking your money? For me, it would be much better if you can just treat your family or your friends to a restaurant close to you. Also, if you will not stop gambling for fun, you get addicted to it little by little.
2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of poker player are you? on: May 24, 2019, 04:29:33 PM
Hit and run is what most gamblers do and its good for them , its a wise strategy but i sometimes feel guilty doing it especially if i gamble on local gambling ( like for example on carnivals )  because they are only small time, gambling is thier way of earning an income but if all gamblers will do this  . i cant imagine what will happen on them   .  but when it comes to playing poker i only play for fun  , i wont mind the money that i bet   .
A wise gamblers use this strategy, because usually they just want to grab only a profit. Theres nothing wrong to do that hit and run. But i think it means they seriously addicted that only the purpose is to make money. But if you dont do it, the hit and run then you are play only for a pastimes.

If you are addicted to gambling. whether your aim is to earn money or have fun, it is hard to do that strategy. An addicted gambler will never run that quickly even if that person won a lot. He thinks that he can still win a lot of money and will continue until he notices he's losing his winning but still continues to play until nothing is left. Addicted gamblers can't be stopped gambling unless someone helps him and him helping himself.
2094  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont believe on sale on: May 24, 2019, 02:26:51 PM
I think it might be human nature, when people hear discounts everywhere they buy things that are not necessary ... and should when BTC drops or hears bad news don't easily panic and be provoked

If bitcoin fells, I think that is a good opportunity to invest again. We should not be negative and look at another angle of that certain change. Dump is not always negative, it depends on how you will be able to make that dump an advantage to you and your investments.
2095  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 24, 2019, 01:46:21 PM
I'm a bounty hunter so I use my rewards from the ICO campaign that I've promoting to trade it to coins that I want to be included in my portfolios, but if there are some good coin that doesn't have a bounty campaign, I used my own savings to buy that coin.
just like you, I get coins from the bounty and also buy using my own money if there are good coins

The investments I made now on Bitcoin is based on the coins I've earned in the past. I do earn some of my bitcoins to signature campaign but I am not using it and just saving it in my bitcoin wallet. I am also working so if I have an opportunity to buy bitcoin at a lower price, I don't hesitate to do that. I already have regrets about not trusting the movement of Bitcoin.
2096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs USD - Which one is better? on: May 24, 2019, 10:10:34 AM
Well, there are a lot of features BTC has that USD doesn't have, the most popular is the decentralization. But that doesn't make BTC better than USD, all in all, USD is still better than BTC. BTC will never lose it's volatility while it is decentralized so I don't think it will be that easy to make it a stable currency. Fiats can be used everywhere and that is the same with USD, if BTC will be accepted worldwide, I think people who want to travel and make adventurous tales will be favoring BTC over USD or their Fiats.
2097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is the role of the government in the development of Bitcoin? on: May 23, 2019, 02:54:34 PM
In my opinion, the government plays a very important role in the development of Bitcoin in a country. For example, a government announces that it will accept Bitcoin in that country, so I'm sure the development of Bitcoin in that country will be very fast!
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC
What do you think, the Government or the community who play an important role in the development of Bitcoin?!
I think government accepting bitcoin won`t gonna happen because bitcoin is decentralized, so, bitcoin will lost its independence and the government will make rules about bitcoin. After all bitcoin don`t tax and surely when government controls bitcoin, tax will come with it.

Well if they want to tax Bitcoin, that will depend to people whether they will be using it or not. But right now I don't think that will be a thing since most of the countries don't mind while others do not want Bitcoin in their country. I don't mind them making rules about it as long as we can use it in our country.
2098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand what the miners are doing on: May 23, 2019, 12:41:48 AM
With a lot of big miners in competition, I don't think I will be choosing it before investing. It is true that earning Bitcoin through mining will be stable but the cost of it is the problem. You can't just buy a mining rig and the fact that not all of the people that use Bitcoin can afford it. Another thing is the electric fees that is a big peoblem for miners. Also, let me remind you that while a lot of BTC are grtting mined, the harder it gets and I think it is too late for us to mine BTC, we can't afford to mine BTC nowadays.
2099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryto Mining recover in the future? on: May 22, 2019, 11:28:52 PM
In terms of mining Bitcoin, there in no way it can be enhanced. It is said that while the time passes, the mining of Bitcoin is getting harder and harder. Welll, I think Bitcoin will stay on that track and that would be the same as other crypto too that followed BTC. I think it is obvious that while other age too, it will be the same but not to other cryptos that just released.
2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with altcoins on: May 22, 2019, 10:33:29 PM
Offering more altcoins will for sure enlarge userbase of crypto casino. I agree that bitcoin still dominates in crypto gambling but situation may change in the nearest future.

Once the Bitcoin transaction fee goes up, deposits in altcoin will become more and more attractive for the gamblers. But then, the gambling sites need to tweak their websites and create all the hot-wallets, which is going to take a lot of time and effort, on top of additional expenses. The casino has to decide whether this additional effort is worth it or not.

I don't think Bitcoin transactions will go up without the price of Bitcoin going up too. It is not that the transactions fees are the only one changing, if the fees changes, the price will too. The higher the price, the higher the fee so I don't think it will change for gamblers. Even with the current transaction fees, gamblers are still continuing to use it, so I don't think it will matter. Gamblers will use anything they want as long as they can gamble.
