2101  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] bitmine.ch coincraft desk 600Ghz on: May 19, 2014, 06:57:40 PM
as close as you can get me the cost of it which was 3500, but i know that is tough, but make me an offer anyways

You know, based on the S2, which is $1.88/GHs, yours would be for $1128, or less, since it's a used one.
2102  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Que es BtcJam? on: May 19, 2014, 06:54:39 PM
Es una página donde puedes prestar BTC a la gente, o pedir un prestamo.
Pero también es una página repleta de estafadores y personas malas.
Te recomiendo que no lo uses, yo he perdido bastante ahí, sin saber lo que era.
2103  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New to Mining - Need some Recommendations on: May 19, 2014, 06:49:02 PM
Try antminer s1.
But the electricity cost is high Smiley

OK, I'll look into it, thanks for the recommendation!

Anything else come to mind?  I see something like this is out there: http://minerscube.com/ ; Great hash rate for the price - Might be a little out of my price range, but anything in the $100-$1000 price range?

I'm guessing some of this stuff isn't plug and play?  Also, as difficulty increases, hardware can become outdated fairly quickly??

On with the comments, thanks in advance!

EDIT: sounds like that minerscube is a scam! Smiley

EDIT#2: with my current set up, I could probably mine some Litecoin?

Yes, Minerscube is probably is a scam. Also, you can try out Cloud Mining, with services such as cex.io or PBMining.
2104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC transaction problem on: May 19, 2014, 06:46:39 PM
It is still 0 confirmation.
Will it be processed ever?

Probably not. Greedy miners won't put in any non fee paying transactions, even though there is room in the block confirmation.

Also in before "he should have included a fee, so it's his fault"
I just wanna know when or under what condition can I be 100% sure that it will never be processed.
Any indication?

It is processed. Thanks guys.

Next time, be sure to include a fee of 0.0001BTC. Otherwise your transaction is under danger of never getting confirmed.
2105  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ANX launches ANXPRO, support for Altcoins and AUD Direct Banking, 0 Fees! on: May 19, 2014, 06:44:20 PM
Come and trade today! No ID verification is needed!
That doesn't sound sustainable...

What isn't sustainable? I don't understand your question.
No ID verification needed, thats a great way to get your bank accounts closed.

I think you didn't understand me there. There is no ID verification for trading in cryptocurrencies, but there is for fiat currencies. We request this information to comply with KYC/AML laws. Even though we are based in Hong Kong, other governments may ask us for such information.
That makes more sense.

Who do you bank with in Australia? A bank or a payment service?

We work with a bank, but I am not sure if I can tell you which one it is. I'll ask and get back to you.
The wire transfer details would give that away, I'm just not verified.

MrWDunne, we use more than one bank in Australia. If you would like to know more, please get verified or contact support@anxpro.com.

Did anyone ever find a way to get the API for an app or enable e-mail notifications?

What the heck are you talking about? The API hasn't been released yet, and email notifications haven't been either.

This is the post I was talking about: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448649.msg6362181#msg6362181.

Maybe I described it wrong but I thought some people were working on a monitor for Clever.

Yes, and this project was likely abandoned.

All fees are on the customer of this service.

Nice quick trade. I left you some positive trust, can you do the same for me too?
Thanks. Smiley
2108  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Vanitygen GPU mining on: May 19, 2014, 06:29:12 PM
If you have a radeon from the HD 7xxx series you should use 12.10 SDK and this special version of vanitygen: https://lifeboat.com/oclvanitygen

Thx and yes am using one of the 7 series. What would be recommended to use with r280 cards or are they too new to use for generation of addresses?

AMD Catalyst 13.10 Drivers should work fine. At least that's what I use.
Oh, and that with normal VanityGen.
2109  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] LeaseRig.net Rent & Hire Scrypt(Jane/Nfactor)/SHA3/SHA256/X11 HashPower! on: May 19, 2014, 06:25:57 PM
If it is due to a site update, it would be nice if while updating the site you can put and easy single html page stating that the site is being updated.

Well I just checked with pingdom.com and leaserig.net is up. It is reachable from India also, (where Im at). Seems as though the DNS servers that Vodafone ( my ISP ) are using have lost Leaserig.net's name registration. Perhaps you recently updated your DNS information, and it hasn't propagated properly yet. In anycase I just added Leaserig.net's IP to my local hosts file and everything is fine again.

Code:
myshell$ host -v leaserig.net
Trying "leaserig.net"
Received 30 bytes from x.x.x.x#53 in 88 ms
Host leaserig.net not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
Received 126 bytes from x.x.x.x#53 in 79 ms

This is bizarre.  I generally add google 8.8.8.8 and verizon 4.2.2.2 for DNS to thwart some of the local provider DNS issues which crop up all over the internet.

Yeah, I linked 23.236.58.114 to leaserig.net in hosts file and it worked. I know it's bizarre, today I used my school's computer, and it worked.
Seems to be an ISP only problem. My ISP is Orange España.
2110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple BTC wallets for security? on: May 19, 2014, 06:22:33 PM
in clear, buy a PC for Bitcoin.
not a big deal (with low price netbook).
you can use a android phone, too ... just for Bitcoin (only this installed, wifi ... no SIM card).

compromise PC is always because of multiple usage and multiples users ...

I agree with the above, and this is actually what I do as well.   I keep a separate PC, that I do not browse the internet with, and definitely don't download anything on it.

Still isn't enough, it needs to be 100% offline. It could still be hacked and have keyloggers implanted in its registry.

2112  Economy / Lending / Re: loan needed on: May 19, 2014, 06:19:25 PM
Well you guys don't have to worry about it anymore. I got the bitcoin. I was having issues with coinbase but they fixed it.

lol yet another typical scammer move... Even if You aren't, careful.  When scammers see no chance, they make up a lame excuse like You Just did There Roll Eyes

Also, being a newbie and asking for a loan isn't a good idea, you just got a big red trust rating from Vod :/

sorry peps.  I got it.

I had some setting wrong...

Because you should be using stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333, not api, that was discontinued long ago.

I'm in Spain, and I can't access the site either. I have to use a VPN to jump to USA, then it works.

You will get your payment before midnight (GMT - 6).  We have not missed a payment yet.

No confirmations after an hour on my payment.

Here's the TX: 13E5Qif5tXftMoyEpqdtgjfczT5HJyurt6

did it show up yet?
is anybody else missing a payment

Yes it did, and that's not a tx number, that's an address.
This is the tx: https://blockchain.info/tx/434637e180abd744ee9d8d14114594e41ef5b842cf52d3596d2ce8def4a32826

You can use CGWatcher to automatically switch between configures profiles.
2119  Economy / Auctions / Re: qoinpro.com sale start 0.01 on: May 19, 2014, 12:10:01 AM
Please do not buy this. This user scammed me, although I managed to get my money back.

How did you do that? your very lucky.

And yes quoinpro is worthless.

It was partly because of PBMining not paying attention. I emailed their support to change all account details, they accepted, so I paid him. Then PBMining tells me that I had no authorization to change the info, and I told them then I got scammed, and it was their fault, since their policy is "You may only change account information from the registered email". They didn't pay attention, and since I wouldn't have paid if I couldn't change account details, they ended up taking the loss, and gave me what I bought.

You mean quoinpro right? not pbmining...

First, please stop bumping up old topics. Second, it was PBMining, I am not talking about qoinpro.
2120  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: May 19, 2014, 12:07:41 AM
I personally dont like any besides localbitcoins, and waiting for the ATM`s arrive in my area.

Any and every exchange out there can be putting in orders without actual orders on prices.

Outside from the usual terrible support.

Bitcoin ATMs charge up to a 10% fee. And even if they do make up orders, ATMs still get the exchange rates from them, so you're even worse off.
