2121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Co-founder and CEO of Avenue Capital Group lamented he should have bitcoin on: June 09, 2021, 06:32:33 PM
I do not know the reason why some people will report that bitcoin is dying when the price plummeted, there is another recent crash since yesterday but I like what the CEO of Avenue Capital Group said about bitcoin. He said the market has been established.
We are hearing the same sentence time and again about BTCitcoin and people who really missed out on investing in it will continue to say that in the next decade as well and there is nothing anyone can do about it, it is not a big surprise that the cryptocurrency market is volatile and it is a global market and it is different than the rest of the market and some were reluctant because they did not believe that the market would survive and here the CEO of Avenue capital is saying the same that he missed investing in it when the price was really low, but i am glad that he is not creating any FUD but accepting his miscalculation.

2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: June 09, 2021, 05:03:57 PM
The match between Pakistan Super League's Lahore Qalandars vs Islamabad United is now being held. The Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to field. I think that was a good decision. At the end of 9 overs, Islamabad lost 4 wickets and collected only 61 runs. The Lahore Qalandars will have an easy win today if the Lahore bowlers can bowl well till the 20th overs.
Finally PSL is back in action but i missed the hype behind the tournament as i noticed only after seeing your post.

Islamabad United is struggling as they already lost half their side and Lahore Qalandars are in a position to win the match as there is no way Islamabad United is going to recover from this position as Rashid Khan still has a couple of overs left and their top order is back in the pavilion. I am not familiar with the Lahore Qalandars top order but i am sure they will easily win the match.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 06, 2021, 09:21:24 PM
~
There are no prop bets offered for this event.  For our promo, losing wagers on the money line will be refunded if Paul is knocked out in the first round.
Which sports book you are talking about, that is a good promo for the event  Cheesy, i am well aware of the fact that Floyd Mayweather is not a knockout puncher and throughout his career for the major part he was winning by the accumulation of punches or the opponent has to gas out like Conor McGregor for the referee to call a TKO but i understand he is pissed off at Logan Paul because of the antics his brother played, but there is no way Mayweather is going to knock him out in the entire fight.
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: June 06, 2021, 04:49:09 PM
I have seen people put their RENT MONEY into shitcoins like shiba, I can't understand how people think that it is normal to do something like that, you may not pay your rent that money if that coin goes down, how in the hell do you do that. Only reason I found that out is they made profit, but that was really a stupid move anyway.
This is not a new trend, in the past people used their credit card to invest in cryptocurrency market to make a quick profit and many burned their money and that is what we are seeing when they see meme coins like Dogecoin rally, they find for alternatives to invest thinking that they could make a huge profit as well and the end up loosing everything.

If anyone is interested in investing in any market make sure you make your decision when the market is on a correction phase and it is not wise to make those crucial decisions when the market is already rallying or when the market is looking for its direction and anyone doing any form of investment in a bull run are bound to loose money if you are not careful.
2125  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Covid-19 carrying the growth in digital currencies? on: June 06, 2021, 01:47:50 PM
As a result of Covid -19, in payment preferences, Many companies and authorities around the world are increasingly looking at digital currencies as an alternative way to make transactions in digitalized world. So guys what do you think about ? How will be easy the day today life after adopting for digital currencies?
I have a different point of view, it is true that many people came to the cryptocurrency market during the pandemic situation and it is only because they had more time to look at new market places and wanted to diversify their investment because of global situations rather than anything else.

If you look at the adoption rate, you cannot see that kind of adoption locally in my country and people will not jump into cryptocurrency thinking that they will start using them for local purchases.
2126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 06, 2021, 12:38:48 PM
The match between England and New Zealand will be ending in a draw, i thought New Zealand had a good chance to win the match but unfortunately rain has dented the plans of New Zealand and they have declared their second innings and England have a target of 269 to win the match and they have around 73 overs to get to that score and it is a bold decision by New Zealand.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or Binance Chain (BNB)? on: June 05, 2021, 11:59:09 PM
I think the presence of BSC is not to compete with Ethereum, but rather to collaborate with Ethereum. So that the Ethereum network will be lighter with the presence of BSC. The concept of BSC and Ethereum concept is almost the same. We can use Ethereum for BSC and BSC for Ethereum. This proves that BSC and Ethereum can collaborate well.
This is a good theory, BSC is created to help the Ethereum network because they are not able to handle the load  Cheesy. BSC is a centralized copycat of the ETH network and CZ is trying to copy everything that is available so that he will have a monopoly on the cryptocurrency market and that is his main aim by the way things are going.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 05, 2021, 10:52:28 PM
The weigh ins are over and Floyd Mayweather weighed in at 155 pounds and Logan Paul weighed in at 189 pounds the difference in weight is 34 pounds and even though it is an exhibition bout that is a huge weight difference between the two opponents. I am expecting Logan Paul to come out swinging hoping that one of the punches gets connected and weight difference does matter if he is able to connect one Cheesy.

There are talks about a possible Conor McGregor rematch as well but he is still not confident about facing Manny Pacquiao in a rematch  Grin.
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 05, 2021, 09:57:37 PM
The way Kiwis are playing, i have a serious doubt of India winning the WTC finals. Kiwis going to roll over Indians for sure, conditions are much more favorable to kiwis, its like Indians playing in Srilanka against any SENA countires and calling it neutral ground  Grin and 2 practice match with England going to help them drastically.

Hope kohli wins the toss then we might able to see some competition.
There is no doubt it is going to be a great contest between India and New Zealand and the way in which New Zealand is performing in England right now it is going to be a tough match and India will be confident about their performance abroad as well because they were able to perform exceptionally well and won series when no one was expecting even without a full team. If the Indian batsmen are able to perform then India have the bowlers to trouble any team.
2130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: June 05, 2021, 10:20:39 AM
Will the day come when everyone uses Bitcoin in daily payment(supposing new tech is applied to avoid high gas fee) and thus fiat gets abandoned? Or it won't because the amount of Bitcoin is set and all Bitcin is practically manipulated by capitalists...
We might see merchants adopting BTCitcoin but we wont be seeing a situation where fiat will be replaced by a decentralized currency and it is not meant to replace anything, rather it is an alternative mode of payment and if used properly it can be used as a global currency for international trade.

Obviously , it's nearly impossible for Bitcoin to realize permant and global circulation due to its high price and scarcity, which renders it harder to take the place of fiat but it sounds that ETH is likely to be an anchor and a tool for daily use alike, surpassing BTC is feasible.
ETH is not even a currency in my opinion, so end of debate  Tongue. ETH is used to store data and run decentralized applications.
2131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge and coindbase on: June 04, 2021, 06:47:27 PM
A lot of rumors about doge that it will pump to 1$.. Also there is a rumor that it will be live on Coinbase on 11th of the june..
Should we hodl our coin till 11th.. please suggest..
The price of Dogecoin recently jumped over 20% is simply because of these speculation that Coinbase is planning to list the coin and i think there is truth to that sentiment and if that happens it will create a huge market valuation, but to think that the price of Dogecoin would reach a dollar is simply unrealistic until they cap the number of coins in existence or reduce or burn the total coins in circulation.

Hope you are holding the coin for a long time and wait for your required profit and it is probably best to cash out when the market is still riding high.
2132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't you think Bitcoin will die over the summer? on: June 04, 2021, 05:21:19 PM
Recently, the price of bitcoin has dropped by almost 1/3.  The beginning of May is 58 thousand, now it is already 38 thousand. The chart is steadily falling down.  Will Bitcoin die in the summer? Cheesy
If you search this forum you will find hundreds and thousands of topics that says that BTCitcoin would die after every correction and during the initial market boom and whenever the price rises everyone would have that feeling that we might see a huge drop and whether the government could intervene and impose restrictions before the mass adoption and if we could surpass all that and we could reach here there is no way anyone with common sense would think that the market would die  Tongue.
2133  Economy / Economics / Re: I currently cannot own a Paypal, Bank Account, CashApp, etc on: June 04, 2021, 03:41:32 PM
I am underage, meaning I cannot own a PayPal, Bank Account, CashApp, etc. Do you guys know any alternatives. I want to know because, If i want to sell some coin, I give me dad the coin, and he gives me cash in hand. But lets say a coin spikes or crashes when hes at work, in that case I wont be able to cashout. Do you guys know any other payment ways to USD?
The only option you got is to ask the help of your parents rather than looking for other options as every payment processors have mandatory KYC procedure but there are exchanges that do not require KYC and if you are having lower trading volume and assuming that you will be having a lower trading volume since you are a minor and that is the solution in your situation.
2134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: June 03, 2021, 07:32:45 PM
Initiator for this project András Györfi said that Satoshi real identity is not important and two sculptors working on this are Réka Gergely and Tamás Gilly and they are creating hooded figure representing Satoshi,
with reflective face surface that will show face of each person that looks at this figure, representing famous phrase ''we are all Satoshi.''
When i saw this topic title i thought it is going to be some other bullshit claims by a group and declaring someone as Satoshi but this is interesting as Satoshi does not have a face and this is perfect and indeed each and everyone is Satoshi.

But personally i do not want to see these kind of statues until he wants to reveal himself publicly until then i wish to leave him alone like he wants to and i wont be surprised if someone creates the church of Satoshi  Cheesy .
2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 03, 2021, 05:21:37 PM
Now a day hundreds of meme coins launching with too much supply and no use case so what do you think about meme coins and will some meme coins survive long or they will all runaway ?
You need to be careful before investing in these coins, check out the community and the following they have and then that will give you an idea about how long it will go. The only meme coin that will survive is Dogecoin and the rest i am not even following any development even though some had huge hype in recent months and rallied over 1000%. Investing is the risk you need to take if you think it will survive and sometimes it can change your fortunes if you are lucky Wink.
2136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla Competitor to Launch First Electric Car That Mines Bitcoin and Dogecoin on: June 02, 2021, 02:26:42 PM
Canadian electric vehicle maker Daymak has announced that Spiritus, the company's futuristic car that has not yet been launched, will be able to mine Bitcoin and Dogecoin while parked.
It does not make any logical sense other than wasting and it just looks like a publicity stunt rather than anything meaningful. The company is yet to release a car and hence we have no idea whether we can mine anything useful using these power.

I do not even see Daymak Spiritus as a competitor to Tesla until they start producing the results and the cars Tesla have are incredibly astonishing and if they can compete with the results then we can call them a competitor.

2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 01, 2021, 11:46:32 PM
It does seem like he’s still not choosing boxers and is leveraging his fame to get easy KOs. I don’t blame him though and I love seeing his knockout power in the ring. This fighter should be a little harder to beat than Askren was, so while there will still be those that complain, he is making progress and that’s something.
Jake Paul is good enough to attract all these high profile people who are in other sports to boxing and he is able to make millions which is not a small thing and i never expected Jake Paul to win that easily over Ben Askren but the fight looked funny and now his team mate is going to fight him and Tyron Woodley is also almost retired with the way he failed to win in consecutive MMA bouts.
2138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: June 01, 2021, 08:12:09 PM
At a time when the world is clamouring for peace and unity among the countries of the world- developed and developing.
There is a major limitation, which is the different currencies of the countries. These fiat currencies are controlled by different policies and economic situations of their different countries.
You can use BTCitcoin for global transaction and what is stopping you from doing so.

From 2009 till date, bitcoin suffered too many set back, ranging from disbelief to doubt about its future.
But 10 years down the tunnel is a great improvement and acceptance of the first cryptocurrency - bitcoin.
The huge acceptance lead to the creation of several altcoins.
When you come up with something that is not heard before which is a decentralized currency you will have your doubts and think how it can be successful and whether any government will stop this from going mainstream and these were the genuine doubts i had when i first started with BTCitcoin and ten years later it is the hottest market.

I am seeing in the future where BTC will become a unified currency for the whole world.
It is already a global currency and you do not need anyone's permission to call them a global currency as you can send any amount in BTC without much fuzz from the day BTCitcoin is launched.
2139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advert banned in the UK by ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) on: May 30, 2021, 06:29:37 PM
It's not total ban per se, those adverts should be clear. And not just in the UK, all bitcoin friendly countries has this sort of warnings or advisory from their governing bodies.
So this is the standard procedure globally when you are advertising any investment funds and you need to showcase the disclaimer about the market risk as well and anyone who has seen any advertisement regarding stock market and mutual funds advertisements you will be familiar with the advert that is read so fast about the risk involved that is subjected to market risk and you can advertise any cryptocurrency asset or business but all you need is to include that same disclaimer .

The topic is misleading may just wanted to create another FUD Grin .
2140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 30, 2021, 05:29:54 PM
IPL 2020 is almost the same as 2021. The entire game has been conducted without audience. In the same pattern 2021 IPL took place, but inbetween there arose an issue with the covid-19. With the rest of the matches taking place in UAE there is more chance of allowing audience to watch the matches.
I doubt the BCCI would take another chance and allow audience after the disaster they had conducting the tournament this year and there were many suggestions to move the entire tournament to the UAE but the BCCI rejected everything and now we all know what happened in the end. They will be more strict and since their reputation is at stake if they are forced to cancel the tournament yet again, i am sure they will be more careful and the bubble will be much strict than they used to have in the past.
