2161  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: November 18, 2020, 11:44:09 PM

Noone has anything to respond to that?
I did the same verifications and I also found he should have hit 210 on his 2nd roll.

Then I made the maths for my last 22 rolls, and I did find some discrepancies too on several occasions.
How can that be explained?
And what is the server seed hash for? I don't understand how it counts in the calculation of the roll.

The server seed hash is shown before the roll is made because the actual server seed has to be a secret until the roll is completed. When a roll is finished you can prove that they didn't change the server seed to get a favorable result by hashing it to see if it matches the hash they showed you before. It becomes irrelevant since they will still scam you, even if they don't change the server seed, by displaying the wrong result.

come on. there is zero "evidence" Roll Eyes
all we have seen are some screenshots that people have concocted to try to show a scam
there is as much reason to believe these screenshots are fraudulent as there are to believe that coinpot is a scam

No amount of evidence will ever be good enough for you. You've made that very clear. No one has to take my word for it. Everybody is free to verify their own results and we have already heard from others who have come to the same conclusion I did after they tested the 'provably fair' formula.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant Super Middleweight Title on: November 18, 2020, 03:07:16 AM

Right and that's why it is a better match-up for Canelo, a taller fighter, with a good power in his left and also a body puncher. So this is going to be a close fight, probably will go like the GGG or Kovalev fight, go to distance and we can only say that Smith has a good chin as well because it never has been broken.

So difficult fight for Canelo and I think he will go on the defensive in the first couple of rounds, try to measure the distance and then step up the heat in the latter rounds, so KO/TKO round 10th-12th or UD.

I think it will be a close fight also. People might think it's easy because Smith struggled against John Ryder in his last fight but it happens sometimes when you fight a lower level opponent it is hard to be motivated and you have a bad night. There's a reason why David Benavidez's promoter had avoided putting him against Smith for as long as possible even though he is owed an opportunity to fight for the WBC title after winning the World Boxing Super Series.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant Super Middleweight Title on: November 17, 2020, 11:36:05 PM
Canelo vs. Smith is now a done deal.
https://www.boxingscene.com/canelo-alvarez-vs-callum-smith-finalized-december-19-dazn--153340

What's interesting is that Smith will have a 7 inch advantage in height and reach. We've never seen Canelo face an opponent this large and it could complicate his strategy.
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero (XMR) ever break its ATH price? on: November 17, 2020, 08:25:18 PM
A 4x price increase is not unrealistic. It does have higher inflation compared to Bitcoin so it could take a while before it reaches that price again. Since it has a lot of trading volume in it's BTC pairing it should see some benefit from Bitcoin continuing to rise. Even if it can't rise at the same pace, there has to be enough demand to keep it's price in BTC from falling at a bigger rate than the BTC price is climbing against USD.
2165  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I use mixers? on: November 17, 2020, 07:21:37 PM
It all depends on your circumstances. Doing a lot of common sense things can prevent people from tracking you if you break up the trail among your transactions. Not using KYC services, avoiding creating change, and using new addresses for every transaction can be very helpful.

This brings to mind the question about using Chipmixer. We all know that most chain analysis failed to identify transactions from/to Chipmixer wallets. And with the system of Chipmixer where the user receive chips of private keys/addresses containing the desired amount which has been previously sent to that keys. In this case, isn't evident to send those funds to a personal address then to any centralised exchange ?

Elliptic was able to trace funds from the KuCoin hack as being sent to ChipMixer. As of today we have not heard whether they were able to trace the hackers after that point.
2166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 17, 2020, 06:29:53 PM
If there was a big dump then I would expect Grayscale to keep buying more bitcoin. With the supply of new BTC minted being cut in half since the all time high in 2017 I do not expect it to go down in price as much this time around. A dip might even motivate more companies to put their reserves in bitcoin. We will probably go well above the previous ATH before we see a significant correction.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 17, 2020, 05:28:56 PM
I don't know what is the point of these gambling bans. People will always find a way to circumvent them and it also increases illegal activity like money laundering. Banning it seems to do more harm than good. If you want to take it out of the hands of criminals then just legalize it so people don't have to turn to criminal gangs to participate in this activity.
2168  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: November 17, 2020, 07:47:32 AM
For those that still refuse to believe that Coinpot is scamming with the multiplier, here is mathematical evidence of the fraud they are committing.

In screenshot #1 you can see that the highlighted numbers are a match and I received the tokens I won. However, in the screenshot below it, I ran the exact same "provably fair" formula to verify the roll but the numbers did not match. The number that I was supposed to roll was 210 which would have been a winning roll. Coinpot says I rolled 609, which was in the losing range, and did not award me the tokens I should have won.

2169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 17, 2020, 02:08:14 AM
There are lots of people who want exposure to the price of bitcoin but are not interested in having custody of the asset. They don't want to have to worry about hacks. Their only motivation is to gain more profit in fiat and are using bitcoin as an instrument to achieve that goal. There is sufficient demand for custodial bitcoin so it is not really a scam. It is simply an investment where your only risk is the price going down.
2170  Economy / Services / Re: i m looking for project that will pay me direct BTC for signature. on: November 16, 2020, 11:05:41 PM
You are only 2 merits away from becoming a Member. That should be enough to join some signature campaigns. It is not very difficult to reach that level. You might need to learn about gambling because most campaigns are for casinos. I am still new to signature campaigns but I have already made almost $100 in a few weeks so I think it is worth the effort to research different topics so you can make informed posts.
2171  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 16, 2020, 09:49:15 PM
Not so very sure we can correlate the lowering in userbase and volume to the bankroll of Litecoin,,, after all, I see the same happening even with my referral numbers during the period plus in BTC. I do agree the wager competition probably has to become a lot more interesting for people, although out of curiosity I wagered last week on almost 2 days of autorolls and saw I was in around 44th place. In the old days I remember I can go much higher, so maybe volume is not as low as we think?

Have to really dig through stats but could be a way to look at long term and current effects. It must surely not just be about the bankroll effects though.

The site saw a huge drop in traffic in August which is also the month in which the Litecoin bankroll got destroyed. With the price of Bitcoin going up I think we will start to see some more gambling activity on YOLO. I am already noticing my bankroll investments performing much better in recent days after it had been flat for many weeks.
2172  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 16, 2020, 12:43:34 AM
Also YD seems to lose userbase, maybe you ethan have some ideas to spice it up.

I am not sure how can you tell that, do you mind telling us? i think they still have good number of players on their platform. though they don't have quite have some good competitive competitions for their players.

All the metrics that we can see suggest that they have been losing users. As was already mentioned the amount of users online is lower than before. Wagering volume has decreased significantly. Their ranking on Alexa and SimilarWeb has been in a sharp decline for a few month also. All of this seemed to start when their Litecoin bankroll got depleted and they had to reduce the max profit.
2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford November 14 on: November 15, 2020, 05:28:33 AM
Many people thought Brook would put up more of a fight. I always felt it was wishful thinking and I was proven right. Crawford is one of the best finishers there is and Brook is unfortunately past his best years.

I reckon the best should fight the best. Why do the promoters do not want to create Errol Spence and Terrence Crawford superfight?

We can point fingers in several directions but I feel if Spence wanted that fight it would have already been made. We've heard many excuses from him and his team already. We can blame it on promoters but we have already seen Top Rank and PBC work together to make the Fury vs. Wilder fight. I think it's mostly about Spence's ego and wanting to be the one to call the shots and determine the circumstances under which the fight will happen.
2174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Tokenized BTC on: November 14, 2020, 10:24:42 PM
I think it was WBTC that recently got locked inside a DeFi smart contract and the custodian, which is BitGo, has so far refused to help investors recover their funds. If it is a centralized token it should be very simple to refund them but this is the problem with trusting third parties with your Bitcoin. Even if you choose a tokenized version of BTC that is more decentralized you still do not own the keys and you are at risk of losing your Bitcoin.
2175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Regrets? Past BTC Sale(s that would look CRAZY Today! Poll. :( on: November 14, 2020, 04:46:42 AM
I've never sold any Bitcoin but I have spent a lot over the years whenever I needed to buy something since I don't have a credit card or a bank account. One of the first purchases I made was when I spent 0.1 BTC on Purse.io for an item worth $50 on Amazon. It really stings because I've never been able to save that much BTC again. Every time I make a purchase it becomes harder to recoup that amount because the price keeps going up.
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 14, 2020, 01:41:00 AM
I thought the big DeFi pump from a few months ago was altseason. That's what a lot of people were saying because Bitcoin was not performing as well as these altcoins and ETH was leading the rally. Now the momentum has shifted in favor of Bitcoin and altcoins are lagging behind. These are normal market cycles. The ETH 2.0 hype could boost altcoins again. Alts usually depend on hype to perform well otherwise they fall further when BTC drops and rise slower when BTC is pumping.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees are now low.. take advantage of bech32 full segwit and save on: November 14, 2020, 12:14:05 AM
Thanks for this recommendation, I paid about $ 7 to send $ 20 last week, so a large portion of my money was lost in the transfer fees, and I will update all my bitcoin bech32 full segwit and start using a better wallet in the coming days.

Why did not the fees increase with the increase of in the price? Often people sell more currencies and make a lot of transactions, causing the price to rise.

We recently had a large 42% increase in hashpower which meant the average number of blocks mined per hour was above 6. Difficulty should increase in a few days and we will see a rise in transaction fees because of this.
2178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Kell Brook vs Terence Crawford November 14 on: November 13, 2020, 11:00:14 PM
This would've been such a great fight if it had happened a few years ago. It is still interesting today but not enough to benefit Crawford's legacy in any meaningful way, which is what he is trying to accomplish. I hope that Spence, if he wins his next fight, will finally step up and face him since it is one of the biggest fights that can be made in the sport right now.

It's crazy to talk about that but I think trump has no basis on his claims for sure the court will be dismiss since this case is in relevant action with a man who cannot accept his loss. Maybe it's a total waste of efforts for trump supporter since if he's really a gentlemen he accept what faith brings unto him and let the winner sit peacefully in his position.

There are many witnesses that will testify in the court. I wouldn't say the claims are completely baseless but we will see how the court decide about it. Trump's side will push it to the end.

If you haven't figured that out yet:

Perjury is a big crime.

You don't think these people are stupid enough to try something like this... do you?

The guy who was claiming that postal workers were instructed to backdate ballots has already withdrawn his claim. In Arizona Trump's lawyers walked back their claims and the lawsuit was dissolved. He's also had legal defeats in Michigan and Philadelphia. The claims of dead people voting have already been debunked. The only things they're still fighting are not likely to overturn the result because they affect such a small number of ballots.
2180  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 13, 2020, 01:28:26 AM

Says who? The Media?

The states have counted the votes and have announced their conclusions. Even Republican secretaries of state and attorney generals are saying there is no evidence of voter fraud.

Its a assumption at best, the official results arent in.

Its like a Soccer game where the Team is up 3:0 and there is 3 Minutes left to play, yes it looks like the Team leading will win, but is it done? NO.

The official results are just a formality. The conspiracy theories have been mostly debunked and several of Trump's lawsuits have already been thrown out. Hillary had a better chance of overturning the previous election but the casinos still paid out a few days after election day because it would have been unreasonable to wait for unfounded allegations to pan out.
