1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: April 14, 2021, 02:36:28 AM
With dogecoin having reached 10 cents it now seems very possible that it might eventually reach $1. It a little over one year ago that bitcoin was 10% of what it is worth now. With dogecoin maybe it will take longer than a year due to their inflation rate but I believe within the next two years it is likely to happen.

I'm the worst crypto trader in the world.
I bought thousands of FUN when it was 100 satoshis.
I used freebitco as my mining wallet for years, and now I'm watching my coins being halved for this stupid decision, and I can't do anything!
I think This is the way that you reclaim those bucks spent in binance.
Thank you!

With the WOF rewards going down every time the price of bitcoin increases it will become harder to get 100% ROI on these tokens. It is kind of like cloud mining where you put up a lot of money up front and then the rewards begin to diminish. At least you can still sell the tokens anytime you want to recoup your losses.
Personally, I will continue to buy tokens when they are cheaper and maybe in the long run the benefits will be worth it.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: April 13, 2021, 02:50:23 AM
According to the Telegraph, the fiancée of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi is asking them not to allow sportswashing to happen:

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury urged to turn down £100m Saudi Arabia deal by Jamal Khashoggi's widow - Telegraph Newspaper Link

Sportswashing might be one issue but Fury has added fuel to the fire by saying he has other offers on the table and would look elsewhere if a deal cannot be agreed on a venue with Joshua.

Maybe the fights between Fury and Joshua will not go ahead because their two fight deal was based on them finding a venue by Tuesday (tomorrow) otherwise there is NO deal and NO contract to fight allowing both to pursue other fighters.

Just today Fury did an interview with Behind the Gloves YouTube channel and he said that he is 100% certain that Joshua will be his next opponent. I don't think the venue will be much of an issue. Historically we have seen big heavyweight fights in countries with oppressive governments like the Thrilla in Manila and the Rumble in the Jungle. The promoters will go where there is the most money available and just recently we saw that the Joshua vs. Ruiz rematch was held in Saudi Arabia despite many people being against it.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 13, 2021, 02:14:58 AM
I mostly use my laptop and sometimes a tablet. A lot of gambling websites are not very well optimized for mobile devices and playing can be really slow and cumbersome on such a small screen with a low powered CPU.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the most popular game in gambling field ? on: April 13, 2021, 01:15:50 AM
Sports betting is probably the most popular right now. A few years ago it was dice because that was the only option early on. Crypto gambling started out with simple on-chain games and has evolved into the multi-billion dollar industry that it is today.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!) on: April 13, 2021, 12:43:16 AM
This is a really good initiative and I am glad it is still going on today, several years after this thread was started.

Has anyone withdrawn their bitcoin from freebitco.in to either coinbase or gemini? If so, did either exchange give you an issue?

I used to deposit to Coinbase all the time and never had any problems. If you analyze Freebitco.in's transactions on the blockchain you will see that many people are sending directly to exchanges. I have never heard of anybody having issues with this.
1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joe Smith Jr. vs Maxim Vlasov WBO Light Heavyweight Title on: April 11, 2021, 04:32:46 AM
This was a tougher fight than expected for Smith. They went back and forth the whole night but I thought Smith's power is what made the difference. Vlasov was really underestimated and he came close to getting the upset. Now we will see what Smith can do against Beterbiev. Whoever wins that fight could be a candidate to face Canelo if he decides to go back up in weight.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 10, 2021, 05:49:04 AM
At this point Binance Smart Chain has gained a significant amount of market share that it will remain relevant for a long time. It still has a long way to overtake ethereum, but they are still continue to develop it and build projects on this blockchain. Ethereum will always be one of the most popular blockchains and if fees go down it will regain some of that market share.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: April 10, 2021, 02:05:10 AM
The most recent tweets sent by both fighters make it seem like they will get the deal finalized in the next few days. According to Tyson Fury they will be selecting a venue to host this fight during this weekend. Several countries are being considered. Now that covid restrictions are loosening there might be a chance they could have this fight in the UK or the United States but I predict it will end up in the Middle East.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB price on: April 10, 2021, 01:35:06 AM
It could reach that price by the end of the year. It is almost halfway there. They have had a good year so far. Many defi projects are now using BNB due to high ETH gas fees and it is now one of the top coins in total marketcap. As we see more development the higher the price will get.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Tron (TRX)? on: April 09, 2021, 02:39:18 AM
Recently the Tron community voted to make TRX a deflationary currency and reduced the circulating supply. The amount they reduced was a really small amount compared to the overall total but maybe the hype from this event is partially responsible for the price going up.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 09, 2021, 01:33:26 AM
So it's now official, Haney will be facing Linares for his WBC Lightweight title. This is going to be an exciting and close fight. Linares gave Loma all he can take and even score a flash knock down, and obviously he has the experienced in this fight. So Haney will be tested here for sure, but I think he can adjust and will probably win by decision here.

I'm expecting a very close odds here, although there is none yet for now, Haney might be slight favourite and ML might be good to bet here.

Linares' had a great fight against Lomachenko but that was 3 years ago. Since then he has lost by knockout. He is a very shopworn fighter and a perfect opponent for Haney to look good against.

I checked the odds at proboxingodds.com and all the bookmakers have Haney as a clear favorite. I'm expecting him to win an easy unanimous decision but considering Linares' weak chin I wouldn't be surprised if it ended in a knockout.
1694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next big news? on: April 08, 2021, 07:46:11 PM
I think we will see more celebrities endorsing bitcoin. Paris Hilton was the biggest one recently and she got a lot of attention for it. Some celebrities are looking to remain relevant and will jump on the bandwagon but also there is some who are genuinely interested and have made investments in bitcoin.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 08, 2021, 03:11:28 AM
I do agree with everything you say and i still consider Manny Pacquiao as one of the best boxers in the world even at this age and i do believe that Terence Crawford is a good match up style wise and we are discussing about this for a long time and yet they are yet to sign the bout agreement may be because of the pandemic situation but rumors are that they might be planning for a June bout.

According to Crawford's trainer, Brian 'Bomac' Mcintyre, the suspense will be over in a few days when they make an official announcement regarding their next opponent. He says Crawford's next fight will be in the Middle East on June 5th and Pacquiao is the leading choice but there is a backup option if they are unable to reach an agreement.

FUN is drowning. Please save it.
Do you have any plan like you did a week ago in binance?

The price  drop was to be expected after the Binance trading competition was over. The price drop was magnified by the plunge in the cryptocurrency market overall.

There is no need to save FUN. The market has decided what it is worth and it will rise again if we see positive developments.

Juan Manuel Marquez comeback opens Manny Pacquiao door for the fifth fight

looks like Juan Manuel Marquez is open for an offer to a Pacquiao vs Marquez V. Is anybody interested in this fight? as for me as much as I want these to great aggressive boxer fight again I have a feeling that their fight wouldn't be as intense as they were in their younger years. what I want to see is for them to fight younger opponents to show that they still have it and wouldn't be overpowered by the younger generation.

The article doesn't say anything about Marquez being open to an offer. The title is kind of misleading. I doubt Marquez would fight Pacquiao again. He already turned down millions of dollars and closed that chapter because he felt he has nothing to prove anymore.
1698  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Deposit options... on: April 07, 2021, 10:04:34 PM
Dogecoin is very popular with gamblers because of it's low fees. It was my preferred coin when I used to play dice. On social media it is surely one of the top 5 most talked about cryptocurrencies. For me this would be the most logical choice but I think litecoin also has some of the same advantages as doge and would be the next best choice.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joe Smith Jr. vs Maxim Vlasov WBO Light Heavyweight Title on: April 07, 2021, 09:31:31 PM
Finally Joe Smith gets his chance to fight for this title. He was supposed to fight in an eliminator tournament but then the pandemic happened. There's been a few postponements along the way due to fighters testing positive for covid. I wonder if this will affect Vlasov like it affected other fighters who got the virus.

Smith is known as a big puncher so I am hoping he will win and fight Beterbiev who is also a knockout artist.

If your address starts with a 1 or a 3 then it is a legacy address and it might not be recognized by block explorers. There was also a Copay format that only Copay and Bitpay wallets used. Currently the format that is universally recognized is cashaddr where addresses start with a q or a p.

Also, you should make sure you are using a bcash explorer and not a bitcoin explorer.
