1541  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israel is evil. Finish them off! on: May 20, 2021, 02:58:00 AM
My solution would just be to dissolve borders and get rid of nation states. We should allow people to move freely and do what will give them a better life. This will probably never happen but at the very least the United States should stop giving them billions of dollars in aid. If they are not able to defend the land that they stole then they their claims of being entitled to it are illegitimate.

I placed my bets in the range of $42501- $45000 and $47501- $50000, don't know whether this is realistic or not, but the possibility of down from the current price is bit impossible.

For traders who still have fund, there are big discounts, especially in the altcoin market, thankfully the FUN price did not experience a sharp decline.
It's hard to predict the price with this cycle but it's likely still possible for bitcoin to go near that area at the end of the month if it holds the support at 30k. Good for those who have FUN tokens it looks like there are diamond hands of whales in FUN.

My tokens are now worth less than what I paid for them but I still have no intention of selling them. Today I reached 30 days as a premium member and got the cashback and interest boost activated on my account. The WOF rewards are now at 50, 500, 5k sats/RP/lottery tickets. Even though we are in a bear market it is a better time to be a token holder.
1543  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Legacy address on: May 20, 2021, 12:37:24 AM
The only reason I can think of for somebody wanting to use a legacy address would be for message signing. There is no benefit to using this type of address. If you want an address that is compatible with services that don't support bech32 withdrawals you can just use a wrapped Segwit address.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: May 19, 2021, 02:21:41 AM
Religious conservatives have a lot of political power, disproportionate to their actual population size. We always see them pushing these negative narratives around things which they find morally unacceptable. We rarely see people who are willing to counter against them so the moral crusaders end up getting their way more often than not.
1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DogeCoin will Flip Bitcoin on: May 19, 2021, 01:37:22 AM
If Mcdonalds and  Stabucks start to accept Dogecoin and present it throughout all their shops worldwide. Would it flip Bitcoin?
I think yes because after it tons of other merchans will accept doge and it can easily flip bitocin.

Also if you look at the last 7 days Dogecoin is stable on the 0.5.
It became a stable coin. Elon musks says he woks with dev to impove it.
Bitcoin electricity/techonlogy sucks.

I can see Dogecoin the meme coin flips BTC.

As has been speculated, Robinhood is apparently the largest holder of dogecoin. Dogecoin is not suitable as a currency because so many people are holding it on a custodial platform that doesn't allow withdrawals. By the time Elon gets the changes he wants implemented on doge people will have already moved on from this meme. It is doubtful if he even can get those changes made because they only have a handful of part time devs.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 19, 2021, 01:15:57 AM
Legally you can't force Fury to fight Wilder if Wilder declines to step aside but it will have some serious financial consequences and they would waste a lot of time on lawsuits that they are better off doing the trilogy. It is likely that Fury wins by KO again and then we can see Fury vs. Joshua at the end of the year.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: May 19, 2021, 12:36:26 AM
According to Frank Warren (promoter of Tyson Fury) Wilder is in a very good position to stop the Fury vs Joshua fight.

Eddie Hearn (promoter of Anthony Joshua) said the Fury vs Joshua fight not go ahead.

Tyson Fury said Wilder is demanding $28 million to stand aside, he wrote on social media: "Asked for 20 million to move over #joker. "Looks like I have to crack his skull again." (£20 million is around $28 million)
So there is a huge development in the situation, $28 million to stand aside and it is a huge amount of money. So all the hype and the fight fans are waiting for is the fight between Tyson Fury and Antony Joshua and their promoters were teasing the match up for a long time and here comes Wilder in the middle with the arbitrary and demanding huge amount.

So will we be seeing Wilder Fury before any other fight or will they continue with Joshua Undecided.

I don't think they will come to an agreement for Wilder to step aside. He is asking too much money and the promoters are already indicating that Fury vs. AJ will not happen next. It is a big disappointment because we will be denied an opportunity to have an undisputed champion. I think everyone will be rooting against Wilder and hoping he gets crushed by Fury again.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 18, 2021, 02:28:25 AM
Just when we were done with the Joshua-Fury negotiation soap opera, now we have this drama with the Deontay Wilder legal case. I don't know if this ruling will be enough to derail the Joshua-Fury fight. Fury can either try to come to an agreement with Wilder and pay a step aside fee or he can just ignore the decision and eventually have to pay a lot of money for a breach of contract.
What happened with this one though, I am too lazy to search for it online and I forgot what happened to this one. Basing on your reply, I don't think that a mere hush money is going to be enough for Wilder, I am sure he wants to go for a third match and if he ever accepts the money then I would be surprised because there will be no trilogy.

Wilder exercised the rematch clause after he lost the fight but then he disappeared and the pandemic happened so they were not able to make a deal before a the original deadline. Then Wilder took the case to arbitration claiming that he is still owed the rematch. The judge deciding the case ruled in Wilder's favor.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good recent bounty campaigns? on: May 18, 2021, 12:19:10 AM
The last bounty I was in at the end of last year has still not had their token listed on any exchange so to me it is not worth the time. I prefer trying to get into a signature campaign that pays directly in BTC. Even if it is not the highest paying I prefer the stability of a long running campaign rather than having to keep re-applying for a new one every few weeks.

1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is to hold should not be trading on: May 17, 2021, 12:18:13 AM
Elon Musk just worked with doge developer. Testla is accepting doge payments very soon. I hope Elon Musk doesn't announce doge rejection like he rejected btc

Decentralized currencies should never have self-appointed dictators. He is now dogecoin's leader and making decisions regarding it's development. This is exactly what we don't want happening in bitcoin. Doge is a centralized shitcoin now and Musk worshippers look like deranged buffoons.

Unless they decide to burn a large amount of the circulating supply and reduce it's inflation significantly then there is not a lot of room for it's price to keep increasing.

If he really owns the majority of the coins he kind of is the leader not only through self-appointment. He owns a substantial stake perhaps and has skin in the game. I would rather listen to someone who has skin in the game than to someone who has not.

Then you will see history repeat itself the same way we saw with Bcash and Bcash SV. They also had leaders with skin in the game and their devoted followers ended up getting rekt.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia in Dubai on July 2021? on: May 16, 2021, 11:46:59 PM

I guess you guys are confusing each other lol.
The guy at the top of this quoted comment says nobody wants to fight Manny just to be tarnished with one loss especially if they're undefeated, instead they want to fight Manny for money.
The guy at the 2nd quoted message responded that there are figthers who actually would like to fight with Manny not only for the money but for the legacy and so he mentioned Ryan Garcia and Terrence Crawford. I'm pretty sure he's well aware of who's Manny Pacquiao's opponent as he have mentioned at the end of his statement that he's bothered with Mikey Garcia's possiblity of imitating Marquez counter puncher against the Pacman.

Anyway, I could be wrong with how I have comprehended the statement but that's what I think it is.

Everyone is excited for this match anyway.

To me it makes more sense that everybody wants to fight him because he is an old man and they can make a lot of money. The risk vs. reward factors are very favorable for anybody that's challenging Pacquaio. Even if you lose you still get a big payday. I don't think anybody is avoiding him, it's just been difficult to get a deal done because of the pandemic.

Tyson Fury just announced that the fight is happening. For me this clears up any doubt whether it will happen or not. Now we can focus on the actual fight instead of the soap opera regarding negotiations.

1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] LUIS NERY vs BRANDON FIGUEROA Super Bantamweight World Championship on: May 16, 2021, 05:01:15 AM
It was not a masterful performance but Figueroa managed to pull off the upset. I thought Nery was winning the fight but then he ran out of gas and was taken out with body punches.

I don't know what the ceiling is for Figueroa. He has really good cardio but he takes too many punches and a more technical fighter would be able to outbox him. Eventually he is going to run into somebody that will knock him out cold or will shut him out in the scorecards.
1555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we peaked for this cycle? on: May 16, 2021, 01:38:33 AM
There really isn't any major news right now that could be the catalyst to another big rally. Most of the sentiment in the mainstream media is negative towards bitcoin and that could make companies hesitant to invest right now.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking the "Bitcoin is an environmental disaster" argument. on: May 15, 2021, 09:40:10 PM
The whole thing is ridiculous. People want to scapegoat Bitcoin but there isn't one individual thing that will destroy the planet. It is a collection of various things. Disposable face masks are also bad for the environment because they end up in the ocean, in landfills, and throughout the environment where they kill all kinds of animals. Do these twitter environmentalists think people should just not wear masks and make the pandemic worse? Plastic is probably the single worst thing for the environment and none of these people are doing anything to reduce their dependence on this. We can always transition to renewable energy to reduce carbon emissions but it is going to be much harder to replace plastic.

We can do this 'what about' game with just about anything but with Bitcoin you can find many more ways in which it will benefit society. You really can't make those same arguments for Christmas lights or for watching Logan Paul videos on YouTube.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] LUIS NERY vs BRANDON FIGUEROA Super Bantamweight World Championship on: May 15, 2021, 09:04:10 PM
Just came across an interesting article where in they put public boxers' purse and Brandon Figueroa will receive much more than Luis Nery.

I thought that Nery is the "A" side on this fight but why he is receiving amount which is much lower than Brandon?

Quote
Per California State Athletic commission, official contract purses for Saturday’s PBC/Showtime card: Luis Nery $250k, Brandon Figueroa $650k; Daniel Roman $100k, Ricardo Espinoza $27k; Xavier Martinez $60k, Juan Carlos Burgos $20k; Jose Valenzuela $8k, Nelson Hampton $8k; Gabriela Fundora $800, Jazmin Valverde $800; Justin Cardona $4k, James De Herrera $3,500.

Nevertheless, i'm locked on betting for Nery via decision for that 3.10 odds.

This is actually kind of shocking. Figueroa isn't remotely close to a big enough draw to justify paying him that much money. Since the fight is on a premium channel not many people will see it. Over $1 million is purses and the B side is getting the majority of it. Nery is definitely getting ripped off. It's also shocking to see undercard fighters only getting $800. After paying their trainers, managers, and other expenses they are left with nothing.
1558  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of music do you listen to? on: May 15, 2021, 04:14:46 AM
I listen mostly independent artists. They are not very mainstream but they are much more talented than the music that is considered popular. My favorite genre is soul music, specifically that East L.A. style lowrider soul music. The Penrose Records label is currently the one with my favorite artists but there is also Colemine Records, Mango Hill Records, and Big Crown Records.
1559  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik Buterin donated billions to India to fight Covid-19 crisis on: May 15, 2021, 03:39:37 AM
This will boost Ethereum's popularity with Vitalik doing humanitarian effort and 1 billion isn't a measly number that you just donate, I am sure that Vitalik thought of it thoroughly. And not to mention that this donation is also useful for him since it will be tax exemption for him.

This is not humanitarianism. He is giving away useless tokens. It is money created out of thin air and given to him for free. It is performative charity and nice publicity for ethereum but it is an action that cost him nothing at all. I guess it's better than buying lambos and Rolex watches, which is what all the other shitcoin developers are doing with their pre-mined wealth.

just a Question from my refferals XD
Is it allowed to use the auto claim script ?
If you're talking about faucet, I think no. It's not allowed to use automated software and scripts to claim from faucet. It would be faucet abuse.

Correct. It is also not permitted to refer yourself. I can't think why else a question about botting a faucet would come from the referrer.

It is obviously allowed, because if you click on the faucet the admin pointed a message saying "Please click the ROLL button to WIN UP TO $200 IN FREE BITCOINS EVERY HOUR!" - short: "Please click the ROLL button EVERY HOUR!"

So how could you do this as a normal human being? Refusing to sleep? Nah. This is the proof it is allowed to let your chinese exchange student click it every hour...

Nobody in their right mind would interpret that as permission to violate the rules. It is clearly stated in the site's terms of service that you are not allowed to use bots.
