1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: February 18, 2021, 11:05:19 PM
A lot of shitcoins just disappear by themselves. People stop trading them and developers stop working on them. Eventually they will get delisted but then new shitcoins will arrive to take their place and the cycle continues. In the end the market seems to prefer Bitcoin so it is not something that worries me so much. It is unfortunate that some people will get scammed but it is a lesson that will be worth learning for them to not invest in useless garbage.

Unfortunately, I don't have BNB (apart from the dividends I got today) to buy the box. I tried to click "buy" and this one popped up

^ If I clicked "exchange", will Betfury deduct it from the BTC I have in the platform?

The exchange will be done through Changelly. It is not possible to do it internally. You could send your BTC from Betfury but it would be done on-chain and cost you a transaction fee and you would have to wait a while to get the required confirmations.

I shouldn't have bought so many tokens. Now I'm  bleeding red   Cry

That's why I decided to wait it out. I wasn't sure if the hype from being added to Freebitco.in would be enough to sustain the price. FUN has not really been adopted for the original purpose it was intended for and the project had been stagnant for years. If you look at the tokenholders chart you will see that only a few wallets control most of the supply. It only takes a few whales dumping their coins to bring the price down.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Miguel Berchelt vs Oscar Valdez WBC Super-Featherweight Title on: February 18, 2021, 02:28:48 AM
The odds are looking really good if you want to take a risk on Valdez. He is undoubtedly the underdog but if he can score an early knockdown it could change the course of the fight. He is more than capable of pulling off the upset. Anything is possible and that is what makes this bout so exciting.
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A forgotten story of bounty hunter on: February 17, 2021, 10:40:01 PM
If you're participating in that many campaigns you are going to come across some scams. It might also be difficult for you to keep track of what you're owed and you might forget to claim your reward. Some bounties don't pay you directly and you have to create an account on their website. Each bounty is handled differently and it would be easy to make a mistake if you're getting involved in too many.
1846  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in P*RN!? on: February 17, 2021, 01:52:51 AM
Pornhub's parent company already owns most of the top studios. You will find it very difficult to succeed in this business if you don't have money to hire well known actors.

Maybe you can build up a brand but I don't see how investors will make good returns. Since PH has a monopoly they are not going to pay you a very good rate.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC All Time High $50,000 reached today, Tuesday 16 Feb 2021 on: February 17, 2021, 01:34:50 AM
I don't think it actually reached $50k on most exchanges because it didn't seem to be such big news. On Coinbase the highest price it reached was about $49.5k. It reminds me of when the price reached $20k in 2017. It was actually a little bit lower on most exchanges and it wasn't until recent months that it officially crossed $20k across the board.

I'm starting to think it might be a better idea to transfer the prize money and all tickets to round 299. Just forget about 298 and make this week's lottery a huge one. (Maybe with 15 or 20 winners instead of 10?)

You can't just not do it because people will have bought tickets, but it's taken an awfully long time now...

It's only been a couple of days. The Twitter link seems to be fine now and the hash of the file matches the tweet so we know it wasn't altered during the time the link didn't work. If they rolled the prize and tickets over into round 299 then it would be unfair to the people that won prizes in round 298. The winners of the last round have already been determined. It is now just a matter of crediting their account and publishing the winners on the website.
1849  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betnomi scam-ish behaviour on: February 16, 2021, 04:16:55 AM
I participated in their bounty campaign several months ago and every time I made a withdrawal I was always a little bit short. I assumed it was because of transaction fees but this was never really made clear on the website.

Cometimes there was a delay due to withdrawals needing to be manually approved. It never seemed like there was a correlation between withdrawal time and price fluctuations.

I can only speak from my personal experience and to me these things were an inconvenience but don't seem like an indication of scam behavior.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we lose at gambling? on: February 16, 2021, 03:38:40 AM
These are all good observations. I enjoy gambling but am not a degenerate about it so I do not come across these scenarios too often. For me the most important point has been bankroll management. I am always making mental calculations of how much I can afford to risk and make adjustments accordingly.
1851  Other / Archival / Re: I need 633 Satoshi, .00000633 BTC. Can you help me? on: February 16, 2021, 12:16:25 AM
That is such a small amount that it would cost more in fees to send. Even if someone sent you that amount with the minimum fee it would take so long to confirm that you could probably earn that amount of BTC during that time to reach the withdrawal minimum.
1852  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: February 16, 2021, 12:09:25 AM
Another big loss for Litecoin investors of 280 LTC. The site reached it's all time high profitability for all coins last year and then suddenly we started seeing huge losses and they have not been able to get back to the same level where they used to be.
1853  Economy / Gambling / Re: on: February 15, 2021, 11:08:57 PM
Just checked and I also don't find any information of the lottery round 298 so probably it is indeed an error.
I'm curious if the support team looks at this thread sometimes?

The Quin already answered this a few posts back.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold Could be Next Bitcoin on: February 15, 2021, 03:03:15 AM
I don't see BGold gaining any momentum. I haven't heard any news of it in a long time. I imagine since their is not a lot of interest in this coin that the supply is more concentrated than Bitcoin. If it somehow started to increase in value then I think the biggest holders would see it as an opportunity to cash out and that would crash the price.
1855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: electrum 4.0.9 - support of binance smart chain network ? on: February 15, 2021, 01:49:46 AM
Electrum does not support any altcoins. You will have to use Trust Wallet. It is owned by Binance so it is probably the best wallet to use for BSC. If you're looking for a desktop wallet there is an extension called Binance Chain Extension Wallet or you can configure Metamask to work with Binance Smart Chain since it is EVM-compatible.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: February 13, 2021, 09:31:54 PM
I really love this fight. Almost every top fighter from PBC's stable has been avoiding Crawford for years. Pacquiao being the only one brave enough to challenge him when he doesn't need this fight for his legacy would only enhance his reputation regardless of the outcome of the bout. I imagine there would be some MIddle Eastern countries willing to bid for the right to host this event but it still seems like $50 million in guaranteed purses is a really high expectation that will be hard to meet.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash going up 60% on: February 13, 2021, 08:04:41 PM
I don't really consider Dash a privacy coin. They used to market themselves as being private but they were just doing a version of coinjoin. There was already some studies that showed that their implementation had some flaws.

I don't know why the price is going up. It used to be a big pump and dump coin. They have over a billion dollars in volume on some unkown exchange called ZT so maybe it is just market manipulation.
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened with Dogecoin faucets? on: February 13, 2021, 01:04:11 AM
Now that Doge has skyrocketed in value it is not as useful for microtransactions. Faucets used to give you like 0.5 Doge but now this is worth a few cents. If they reduce the giveaway amount then it becomes impossible for users to reach withdrawal minimum.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 13, 2021, 12:33:41 AM
I've definitely stopped gambling with BTC. I still gamb!e everyday with DOGE, LTC and ETH but it is still a risk. A few times I've been playing dice with Doge and had some bad streaks on auto-roll which raised my stakes to almost $50 per roll.

In any case your BFG tokens will be saved on your Betfury account. In the near future, when there will be a listing, you will be able to exchange your tokens for one of the proposed cryptocurrencies

I hope that BetFury will have a built in exchange on their casino. I have dust amounts of BTT, USDT, and TRX that add up to a few dollars but individually it is not worth withdrawing them. I would rather just consolidate everything by converting it to BTC.
