1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nafty - The big token for the adult industry! on: August 29, 2021, 02:20:24 AM
I'm not really a fan of these tokens that have a built in tax that gets redistributed to holders. Every adult token I have seen has something like this, which was copied from Safemoon I believe. Having a transaction tax doesn't make it suitable for use as a currency. I believe this is just a way to try and pump the token and making something that is useful to the adult industry was never this token's true purpose - after all you could have just used any of the top coins to solve problems with payment processors and middlemen. There was never a need to create a new token.
1202  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 28, 2021, 10:24:23 PM
I think Freebitco.in must change the "History of Freebitco.in" a bit to also reflect the actual history of this site. ==>https://freebitco.in/site/faucet/
and not the history of faucets in general. (The start of Freebitco.in was rooted in faucets, but the whole business model has changed to a gambling site now)

Can we not have a timeline of the evolution of this site, because it is a very interesting story that has to be preserved. Freebitco.in has evolved from a faucet to an industry giant in the gambling world.  Wink

I think those pages are just there for SEO purposes rather than educational or informative purposes.

They even have pages like this one which mention a different casino https://freebitco.in/site/primedice/. The only reason for having a page like that is so that people can find the site when they search certain keywords.

Lol exactly! I am always a little bit disappointed when I win lottery tickets but most of the times when I use my WOF spins it is always a combination of lottery tickets, RP and satoshis.

I just realized, if you disabled receiving lottery tickets, what would happen if you receive them from the WOF?

Lottery tickets are only disabled when you claim from the faucet. If you gamble or spin the wheel of fortune you will still get tickets.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google bans 8 crypto apps on: August 28, 2021, 03:43:55 AM
There is already a proliferation of scammy crypto apps in the Play Store. Good for them for taking action but I think there is still some work needed. I have seen a lot of apps that are pretending to be legitimate wallets like Trezor or Ledger. There has even been some cases where people lost very large amounts of crypto because they downloaded a fake app.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake token in wallet on: August 28, 2021, 01:25:00 AM
The only way to completely get rid of them is to send them to a burn address. You can hide them in your wallet UI but they are still owned by your address. I tried swapping MNEB on Pancakeswap when I first noticed that token in my wallet but the transaction failed. These tokens are trying to get you to visit their website so that you can give them approval over your funds and they will end up draining your wallet.
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tesla going to accept BTC again soon? on: August 27, 2021, 04:21:57 AM
The green energy percentage is sort of nebulous. There is no definitive way to determine how much mining energy is considered green energy. It is really just up to Elon Musk to decide if he wants them to accept it again. Once all the different studies are in agreement that the majority is green energy I think they will probably begin re-accepting it, otherwise it would be a bad look.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thoughts on polygon ? on: August 27, 2021, 04:06:33 AM
It has low fees and a lot of projects are from ethereum are moving their applications onto this blockchain. Currently I do not see at a solution to ETH's problems. With the amount of users on Polygon we occasionally see congestion happening on there. If you set your fee too low then your transaction can remain pending for a good while.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 26, 2021, 11:42:45 PM
Not a big fan of Caleb Plant, but I want him to win this match. Canelo cheated GGG of victories not once, but twice (with some help from subhuman judge Adelaide Byrd). Anyway, in this case Plant is from the United States, and I expect the judges to be more neutral. For him, this is the biggest fight so far in his career. BTW, I guess this is the first time we are having a four-belt unification fight, after a long duration (for any weight category). Currently Josh Taylor (Light welterweight) is the only boxer who have managed to unify all the four belts. BTW, there are rumors that Alvarez may move to light heavyweight after this fight.
I guess a lot of us would also disagree that Canelo cheated GGG, that was a close fight and I think Canelo deserves that win. We want to see the 3rd match, but it seems like it's not gonna happen but what Canelo has been showing, he showed dominance in boxing and if GGG and Canelo will fight for the 3rd time, I guess Canelo has the edge as he is the younger fighter and a more active one.

I saw the two fights and I'm not a fan of both fighters but I agree with the decision of the judges on both fights the first and the second match, it's a close fight and the fight could go either way, it's on the appreciation of the judges but yeah I agree on you that there should be a third match to settle once and for all and there's a possibility of a fourth match if GGG wins but Canelo is on another level now.

GGG is an old man now. The fans were robbed of the opportunity to see the trilogy. If they fought again I wouldn't expect it to be competitive. GGG has not been very active in recent years and Canelo has moved to higher weight classes.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 26, 2021, 11:05:36 PM

right now, we can't consider paul as a professional boxer. maybe he can box but not yet in the professional level. but with another drama involving Woodley's mom having argument from Paul's team , this fight might really be sold off in no time. if they are creating so much noise here, paul/woodley will really be popular in attracting fans to watch this exhibition fight more than those professional bouts. lol

I don't know if this is an attempt to hype the fight but the whole thing is a circus. The last fight involving a Paul brother also had some sort of controversy that happened during a press conference when Jake Paul snatched Mayweather's hat, ran away, and then Floyd threatened to kill him. It is all just part of the spectacle.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Dogecoin Is Crypto's Most Dangerous Joke on: August 26, 2021, 03:37:47 AM
We know that a lot of the dogecoin supply is controlled by a few whales. Investors should be aware of the risks. I don't really see it as dangerous. A few people might get greedy and lose a lot of money if whales decided to dump but this is no different than gambling. If you want to make money it is your own responsibility to asses the risk. There is no protection in case your bet doesn't pay off but at least you had all the information you needed to make an educated decision.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Staking Coins a Good Idea? on: August 26, 2021, 02:19:08 AM
There are different types of staking. There is staking at the protocol level on certain blockchains where you can lock money up and in return you earn block rewards for being a validator on the network. There is also staking on decentralized finance where you are incentivized to provide liquidity. I have previously staked CAKE on PancakeSwap and was was earning a decent passive income from that.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buying NFT on: August 26, 2021, 01:17:13 AM
I just wonder why people buying NFT artworks like cryptopunks. I am not against NFT and I love it. I actually own some NFT games accounts like CB, Axie, Dpets because I am earning from it.. But for NFT artworks can you tell me what is the benefits. And why some of the people buying it?

It seems like everybody on crypto Twitter has an NFT profile picture. I don't really get the attraction. I can see how having a unique image while preserving anonymity would be interesting to some extent but I can't imagine paying more than $5-10. People are paying insane amounts for cryptopunks. I'd rather just pay a talented artist to make me some custom personalized artwork I can use for my profile picture.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 25, 2021, 05:54:32 AM
There is no desire from the fans to watch a rematch. Pacquiao said he had cramps but clearly Ugas was just superior. It's time for everybody to move on. Ugas should be trying to unify with Spence and Crawford to determine an undisputed welterweight champion.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Development of Tron coin on: August 25, 2021, 03:34:35 AM
It could be happens if Tron platform can attract great project to its platform, but as far as i know many of Developer prefer BSC to be the platform rather than tron.
It caused by BSC to have more hype compared with the tron. Remember that if BSC was also compliant with ethereum and that's the reason why people are still preferring to use BSC over tron. Basically, both were having the same cheap fees but it's not only about that. The hype around the blockchain ecosystem was also a very important thing.
Remember that NFT development will be much easier to be done on BSC compared with the tron which was using a different blockchain. So many exchange sites were also accepting the BSC asset transactions.
It can also be seen from how much the demand that already got by BSC project compared with the tron project. This is the reason why people were picking BSC over TRON.

BSC has cheaper fees than ethereum but compared to Tron they are still expensive. I do think being compatible with Ethereum has helped them surpass Tron. It also helps out a lot that this blockchain is basically managed by Binance which has billions of dollars to spend on marketing and development. Tron has Justin Sun who is himself a billionaire but I do not expect them to invest all of his own money into helping out Tron. He hasn't had the same level of success with Poloniex and some of his other acquisitions but I still think it is possible for Tron to have exponential growth if they are able to create bridges with other blockchains and attract a wider user base.
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the crypto hype over? on: August 25, 2021, 02:59:53 AM
Bitcoin doesn't need hype to be successful. It has gotten so big that big news stories do not affect it that much. Even after all the recent FUD and attacks in the media bitcoin still pumped to over $50k recently. The price has come down recently after the news of Coinbase accounts being hacked but it didn't fall so much that it can't easily recover.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is coin or token burning? on: August 24, 2021, 12:35:19 AM
Burning tokens is usually done by sending coins to an unspendable address. You can also burn bitcoins by using OP_RETURN to mark an input as invalid.

Counterparty was one an altcoin that required users to burn an amount of bitcoin to mint new tokens on their blockchain when they first launched.
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts announce the start of altcoin season on: August 24, 2021, 12:06:12 AM
The surge in altcoins has led many traders to forecast the dawn of a new altcoin season. According to "The Moon" a pseudonymous Twitter analyst, altcoin seasons follow a major run-up in the price of BTC, especially when the price stalls or pulls back.

This is not really rocket science. Everybody already knows that altcoins pump after BTC price goes up. Bitcoin has gone up to $50k recently and we are also seeing some altcoins have huge gains. Cardano is one of those coins that have seen a new all time high. I do not own many altcoins but my portfolio has been doing really well in recent days.

Due to the promotional 45% monthly interest on FUN tokens I finally decided to invest in the third tier 12,500 FUNs package. That looks an interesting deal and a good moment to support the site after so many promotions and attempts to make FUN more popular. Let's see what happens...

Now my doubt is about the extra free spins. Will I receive them on my email just like the free daily ticket or do I have to find them somewhere in the site? Are they already disponible right after the purchase or do I have to wait a 24 hours time period to claim/use them?

Thanks.

You will see a notice on the website telling you how many spins you have available. It is just like the other notices like 4x reward points promotions or FUN token promotion notices. The spins will be available to you within 24 hours of becoming a premium member.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 23, 2021, 07:41:42 AM
Nobody gave Ugas a chance against Pacquiao and he won the fight with ease. Plant deserves the benefit of the doubt. I doubt he will win but he isn't so far out of his league that he can't pull off an upset if Canelo has an off night or if he makes adjustments in his style that Canelo isn't prepared for.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments prohibit developers from creating a new coin? on: August 22, 2021, 06:14:19 AM
It is not illegal to write code. Even people who created malware don't go to jail. It is fine to create a new coin but they can stop you from doing an ICO or they could later charge you with offering unregistered securities. New coins are often launched by anonymous teams and once a coin is out there in the wild it is hard to stop it. So far we have seen very little action against cyptocurrency projects even when it is clear they are illegal in certain countries. They might take down a low level scammer every now and then and that's about it.
