1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why shiba inu not come 1$ on: July 30, 2021, 05:48:11 AM
This really doesn't need to be explained. There are too many coins in circulation for it to be worth more than a few cents. Unlike other tokens, I don't think they have regular token burns so the circulating supply will always be really high.
1282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin on: July 30, 2021, 02:46:05 AM
I saw the article a few days ago and this author is badly misinformed. They don't know how Bitcoin works yet they are against it. His main argument is about ransomware attacks . This is not really a solution because cyber attackers are already doing something that is illegal. They don't care about the law and as long as there is a black market for people to cash out their cryptocurrency they will still demand it as ransom. Banning Bitcoin also doesn't magically fix cyber security issues so even if they can't receive payment bad guys will still want to attack vulnerable infrastructure.

vip@freebitco.in - is this an official email?

I think if you send an email to this address it will just forward to their customer support. As far as I'm aware they don't send any emails from any address besides noreply@freebitco.in so if you received something from a different address you should check if it is a spoof email.

I see that there's a deposit bonus currently going on again.

Somebody can deposit as many times as they like, and get the bonus for each deposit, as long as each deposit is 30k sats or more, is that correct?

Let's say somebody was going to deposit 300k sats, it would make sense for them to split it into ten deposits and do it that way, am I right?

I'm just making sure that everything that I do on the site is legit.

You can batch multiple deposits into a single transaction and still get 10 free spins for each deposit. Batching helps you save a little bit on transaction fees compared to making 10 separate transactions. I tried this yesterday and got 20 spins from one transaction paying two deposit addresses.
1285  Economy / Economics / Re: Stablecoins 101 on: July 29, 2021, 03:27:37 AM
After all the latest rumors surrounding tether and bitfinex I've decided to swap all my usdt to DAI stable coin instead, it seems things are getting hotter sir USDT right now and anything can happen, I'm not sure about binance exchange since they are also on fire right now, I don't know how safe BUSD is

DAI is backed mostly by centralized stablecoins, mainly USDC. If regulators decided to go after USDC then it could collapse the price of DAI. If a major stablecoin like USDT or USDC failed then it could have a big negative impact on the entire crypto market and even fully decentralized stablecoins wouldn't be safe because the collateral backing them would fall below a level where they would lose their peg to the dollar.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hacking wallet link on: July 29, 2021, 03:01:38 AM
I have not received this airdrop but this is what worries me about DeFi. In order to interact with smart contracts you typically have to give approval for them to use an unlimited amount of funds from your wallet. This is a security issue that makes it possible for attackers to steal your funds through these scam airdrops.
1287  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance squeezes users on verification on: July 28, 2021, 06:30:14 PM
It is not a surprise at all. A few years ago there was a rumor that they wouldn't even allow unverified accounts to trade anymore. They didn't go that far but they stopped allowing people from the US. We have seen more pressure against Binance in the UK and in the US recently so it was just a matter of time before they started taking stricter measures.

Well if you have reinvested your profits then you have lowered your break even point because you've certainly bought those tokens at a lower price than the first ones, so your "hole" as you say is maybe less deep than you think.

My break even point went down from 63 sats per token to 61 sats, not a very meaningful difference. Meanwhile the price of FUN has tanked to 38 sats and you will only get 37 if you sell them on FreeBitco.in. The cost averaging strategy is not really working due to how quickly FUN is going down compared to BTC.
1289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is this a good divide? thanks on: July 28, 2021, 12:11:04 AM
I've never heard of Ravecoin so I would replace that with something like BNB, Monero, or Matic. $1000 is a lot of money to diversify into a whole bunch of coins. I put aside some amount to invest in something that will give you passive income. There are some platforms like Alpaca Finance which are great for earning passively.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Bitcoin Poll on: July 27, 2021, 02:28:36 AM
If by chance they are going to accept BTC as payment method in the future, they will get a third party like Bitpay or Coinbase payment to handle their bitcoins. Maybe they will convert it readily for cash or just hold on it. So it's a win-win situation for them, but it might take some time, we have heard this rumor since 2017 if I'm not mistaken and fast forward 4 years later, still remains a rumor.

They currently accept Bitcoin on Twitch.tv which is owned by Amazon. I think the use BitPay as their payment processor. They would probably be open to accepting Bitcoin but they might be afraid of all the hate they will get from the environmental concern trolls.

I didn't really do calculations to determine the ROI of my investment but I am pretty sure it will be around 1 year of less.
I bought 5000 tokens at an average of 70 satoshis. I think in total I already won around 45 - 50k in RP and I also won a couple of times already 5000 satoshis.
What do you mean by ROI precisely? Because I don't think 3 or 4 Wheel of Fortune spins per day will let you earn 350 000 sats in one year... So I think you've taken into account the value of your FUN tokens. But how do you know at which price you'll be able to sell them in one year?

FUN is down over 10% against Bitcoin in the last few days so it's going to be really difficult for anybody to recover their investment through the value of the tokens. I bought tokens when the program was already a few months old so the price wasn't as high. At today's prices I probably could have broke even within 6 months, taking into account the total value of my tokens plus rewards from WOF, but I had been reinvesting my profits back into FUN so now I'm in a deeper hole.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: "Decentralized' exchange Uniswap starts blocking token access on: July 26, 2021, 11:47:22 PM
"Trading is decentralized but the code ain't, but anyways let's call it a decentralized exchange to excite the average Joes" Good job uniswap devs

Sounds like you aren't angry with centralization but them banning something or working with the regulators. (imho that was a good choice)

Working with regulators is a horrible idea and sets a bad precedent. Regulators also want to KYC every Bitcoin transaction made from private wallets. They are not here looking out for people's best interests. They are only interested in making it as difficult as possible to use crypto.

1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Is Litecoin an Attractive Investment Asset? on: July 25, 2021, 06:59:31 AM
Lightning Network is working fine on Bitcoin, nobody is using the Litecoin version. All the Lightning developments are happening on BTC and they are just copying. As for confidential transactions and mimblewimble, they've been talking about it for ages it seems like and I don't know how much progress has actually been made.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: July 25, 2021, 02:23:39 AM
Everybody wanted to see him unify with Herring but Herring has a mandatory against Shakur Stevenson he has to take care of. Stevenson is the favorite in that fight and the odds will be really even if he ends up fighting against Valdez. Conceicao is a good tune up for Valdez. He is an olympic gold medalist and so far he is undefeated as a pro fighter.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin vs binance Coin on: July 24, 2021, 01:19:10 AM
When Binance Coin first started as an ERC-20 token I didn't think it had much of a future. It's only use was for paying fees on Binance. Since then they created a new blockchain and then pivoted towards being a smart contract platform that could compete with Ethereum. I am impressed with how far they have come.

When you look at Litecoin, the development is stagnant. Their daily transactions started going up after some on-chain game started spamming the blockchain but this is not an organic rise in adoption. Litecoin will get left behind like other payment coins that tried to compete with Bitcoin like Dash and BCH.

Also the funds needed to be able to get 16 WoF are quite significant around 0.23 BTC at the current FUN price and have to pass a period of 360 days or about 1 year of ownership to be able to get 16 WoF.
It's interesting to see if there will be members in this forum who will post they get rolex or other prizes besides RP, Satoshi and lottery tickets

I have 6 WoF spins every day, I need 5k more to have 8 WoF spins, and sometimes I am thinking to deposit and buy them... but I am constantly winning 50 sats/RP/lottery tickets, so I am not sure about that... I didn't have the luck to hit that 5k sats, so how far from that is Rolex?! Smiley
It's interesting to have these spins, if we don't try it we don't have chances to win! I hope someone from here will hit that Rolex, that would be awesome!

I've also considered buying more tokens to upgrade my level. Getting the 5k prizes has not been a problem, I sometimes get more than what is expected according to probability. The reason I haven't upgraded is because I worry the price of FUN will keep going down making it unprofitable to cash out if I need to sell them for BTC.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or TRX? to have most potential from here (15/05/2021) on: July 23, 2021, 04:30:02 AM
Litecoin is mostly just a clone of Bitcoin. It has not really been adopted for payments. TRX itself doesn't have that many interesting developments but the Tron network has a lot of stablecoin volume. For transferring stablecoins it is an ideal blockchain because the fees are negligible.

Like other smart contract platforms that aren't EVM compatible it is going to be difficult to get the same level of attention from developers. There are also newer blockchains like DOT that seem to be growing faster.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does matic (polygon) worth to invest? on: July 23, 2021, 03:30:28 AM
I think one of the things holding Matic back is that you can't easily get it directly on Polygon. If you want to do some trading on a DEX then first you will need to bridge through Ethereum and pay high gas fees. The high fees to get started is one of the biggest drawbacks but once you are on Polygon then the fees are extremely cheap. Enough people are okay with the tradeoffs, that is why we see rising adoption of Matic and the Polygon network. There are already some popular dapps like Aave and Sushiswap available on Polygon.
1300  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is LISTED🔥 BUY🔺SELL🔺EXCHANGE|⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 22, 2021, 08:57:02 PM
Indeed, this was the original use of the token on the gaming site.  And here the right thing would be to maintain a balance between use in games and farming.  Devs, of course, need to calculate the balance of farming because players and people generally like it when their deposit increases (even if just a little).  This gives an incentive to look at the score more often and, accordingly, more often go to the site and play, since you have already entered ...
That is exactly what the complaints have been about, I mean if you are going to end up gambling here then it is great but if you are going to use this place (or more like biswap) as just a farming token place then this token will become worth zero eventually, it is just not the way it should be used at all. A lot of people have been saying this but they have been ignoring it all together, why keep ignoring something that people keep being scared of?

It is just impossible to let it be because let's be honest this is a casino first and foremost and it is a token afterwards, token was created for gambling, gambling wasn't created for token, people mix that up. I really hope that we will see a lot more marketing, especially considering they ended up selling their tokens for high amounts as much as 20+ dollars each, so they should have enough money to do high amounts of marketing.

I've seen very few complaints. There are always going to be some people who are unhappy but when you compare this to the amount of people that are farming then I would say they made the right decision. They even had a vote and an overwhelming majority voted in favor of adding a farming feature. Some people might end up dumping the tokens they farmed and that would affect the price but it will not go to zero because people will still want BFG to earn dividends.
