On the free email rolls on the prize wheel, if I have lottery tickets disabled but win lottery tickets on the spin, does those convert to RP or something? This happened but I wasn't able to tell if my RP balance changed because I didn't know what it was before, but I didn't get lottery tickets as a result of the spin.

When you disable lottery tickets it only applies to faucet claims. You still get lottery tickets from gambling and from Wheel of Fortune.

i don't know the intricacies of AMLD5 but i think it mandated a €50 limit on anonymous payment methods. IIRC even EU-based faucets and tipping services shut down because of it. so i'm not entirely surprised. brutal...

That is a really stupid law if it is true. A gift card is an anonymous payment method. It is more private than using Bitcoin in most circumstances. Does that mean that Amazon is going to start KYCing customers who pay with gift cards?
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 16, 2021, 11:02:44 PM
This fight has been rumored for many months now. I had already started a thread for this fight but then the McGregor vs. Poirier fight got made and decided to close it. Now it appears that they will go through with Pacquiao vs. McGregor after UFC 257.

That has been the case for years, but having a license matters just a quite bit, as in that is the bare minimum effort to put in. So if you are starting a new place, you have to get it, at least until you get loved by more people, that way you will have a license to give people some "ease" that is fake obviously, even with a license it could be a scam website, but when you turn out to be a decent place after few years you do not even need to renew the license, as long as people trust you the license means nothing.

So, this means all the known websites like yolodice and all the other big ones, could just remove their licenses, stop renewing them or however it works, and they can continue to get the same amount of people as they have always done, why? Because we already trust them, they are already great, so they can just get people to play because they love the place.

YOLO dice is committed to preserving their user's privacy. Having a license usually comes with having to KYC customers who are high rollers. A license doesn't matter at all for a crypto only casino because it is extremely easy to get one and there is no regulatory enforcement to prevent users from being scammed.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 16, 2021, 09:32:44 PM
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the winner of this fight will hold all the heavyweight belt, and it will be first time in history that one person holds everything.

There has been other undisputed heavyweight champions before but that was before there was 4 major belts in each division.
1946  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: January 16, 2021, 09:14:59 PM
Introducing their VIP system with unreasonably high interest rates a few months before shutting down just to get people to deposit large amounts looks really shady in hindsight.

I'm not sure how effective their fraud detection system was. They seemed to ban a lot of regular users and a lot of bots were still able to get through. If this system wasn't able to keep their faucet in business then I don't see how they will be able to turn this into a profitable service.
1947  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay -- KYC is here! on: January 16, 2021, 04:50:35 AM
As far as I know when you get to the payment invoice you can just continue as a guest and continue without any verification. A BitPay ID doesn't mean you have to KYC. It is just an email verified account that keeps track of all your purchases and is required for requesting a refund.
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 16, 2021, 03:06:42 AM
Finally the battle everyone is looking forward for a very long time. Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is the fight we wanted to see rather than Wilder rematch and i am glad they are able to move away from that fight and put on exciting fights which is really good for boxing.

They did not announce the location yet, most probably they will be fighting in Saudi Arabia or somewhere in the middle east as both these fighters will be earning a huge amount.

Or in the Wembley Stadium if boxing fans are going to be permitted later. Make sense because this is a domestic fight. Yeah, we don't need the Wilder trilogy, there's so much drama specially Wilder's antics after the fight.

Just image though is there are no corona virus, they could sell and jam pack Wembley for all the marbles. But as far as the initial betting favorite, no doubt that it will be Tyson Fury, but it's going to be close.

Allegedly, it's going to be a two fight deal and it is more likely that the rematch will be in the UK.
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 15, 2021, 08:54:06 PM
Today Tyson Fury tweeted out a statement confirming that Anthony Joshua will be his next opponent. "Coming soon somewhere near you. 2021"

The tweet was accompanied by this photo:

Recent statements by promoters Bob Arum and Eddie Hearn indicate that the fight for the undisputed heavyweight championship will take place at a location in the Middle East.

There is already several casinos taking bets on the fight with Tyson Fury being the favorite according to the odds tracking site Pro Boxing Odds.
1950  Economy / Gambling / Re: Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: January 14, 2021, 10:55:15 PM
it isnt just that, in the past 2 months i have tracked every week and investments have been more negative each week so players are winning more and a lot of investors dont like to see their investments keep losing money
Unfortunately there are a lot of times when gamblers end up winning for a while, but the fact is that the general direction should always be going higher for investors. When you make a profit for 10 weeks straight and lose for 3 weeks straight, you tend to consider the losing one a lot more than the winning ones, and that is why investors tend to take out their money.

In the long run, if you invested bitcoin to yolodice 3 years ago, how would you have done now? Think about how little bitcoins worth was 3 years ago today, and if you invested lets say 1 bitcoin to it, you would have a lot more bitcoins but also bitcoin worths a lot more as well so in fiat you would be super rich.

Even removing fiat aside, if you checked how much money you have made from just bitcoin to bitcoin sense, you would have been in positive, not 500%+ I am sure, but it would still be positive in a decent manner. That is why people invest, so they can make money in the long run.

Conditions don't always stay the same year after year. People have been gambling much less on this site than at any other time. Investors are well aware of how it is supposed to work and I think most people are fine with having a few weeks where they don't make any profit. Unfortunately it has not been just a few bad weeks, it's been a few bad months.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: January 14, 2021, 02:30:09 AM
<snip>
Overall invested amount have decreased significantly since last week. Nearly 48 btc have been taken out from the invested funds. So the raise of your share rate is logical Wink. Now the same amount of profit/loss by gamblers will create more impact in your invested funds than before. I hope you will stay for a long time with your investment without following others.
Yeah. Honestly once I feel that my investment will turn red I will not hesitate to withdraw it. As you mentioned with the rise of the share, the impact of every move in either direction will be more significant and possibly more painful seeing the latest trending.

The wagering volume for BTC is still really low so the impact has not been so severe on our ROI. We are only continuing to see investments slowly losing profit.
1952  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC🏎Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 13, 2021, 10:34:24 PM
By the way, does anyone here got a good reward from their wheel of fortune - daily free spin? I'm just getting the very low rewards but since it is free, I'm also grateful for freebitco for this initiative. But curious if someone already hit the rolex or the $1500 iphone?
My best prize was 50 Golden tickets so far. I saw several users posting that they won 5000 weekly lottery tickets and 5000 Satoshi. But if I haven't missed anything, so far there was no posts showing wins of biggest available prizes.
i also won 5k RP 2 times;D

I won 5k sats today, which is almost as much as the third highest faucet reward. I've also won 5k RP before.
1953  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: January 13, 2021, 09:03:53 PM
I like to think that the 'unsustainable' VIP rewards are paid out from a pot of crypto seized from all the scammers and cheaters who've been caught.

The only way this would be sustainable was if there was enough scammers for them to earn enough revenue from. Since most scammers aren't depositing their own money and just simply abusing the faucets then that revenue has to come mostly from ads. If Mellow Ads decided to start caring about fraud impressions, which it doesn't appear that they currently do, most of that revenue would vanish.

I don't pay too close attention to the merits I receive. Good posts will naturally show up in threads and I will merit them if I have enough sMerit to award.

no double standards at all - you are deliberately mixing up the words "evidence" and "proof"
"proof is conclusive but evidence isn't"
https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/203640/whats-the-difference-in-meaning-between-evidence-and-proof

screenshots are not "proof" of anything - and i have never claimed that they can be
show me where i said that i have provided PROOF of anything

Are you using stackexchange as evidence or proof? It is certainly not an authoritative source.

According to Macmillan Dictionary the definition of proof is "information or evidence that shows that something is definitely true or definitely exists".

1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos ordered by IBF on: January 11, 2021, 03:08:10 AM
Once the IBF orders a fight it is impossible to avoid it. It is basically a done deal and they just have to come to an agreement. Lopez should be a huge favorite and that is why he is willing to go to Australia. If they can fight with an audience in the arena then he will surely be paid very well.

it would be easy for me to post up here a screenshot or video as "evidence" showing me winning some money on the multiplier (or like Silasftw did, a screenshot showing his faucet win)
but as i keep repeating, this is not "proof" of anything, so it is worthless really - and you would quickly and rightly call me out on it

So I guess your accusations of censorship are worthless then? You posted fake screenshots and deleted your own posts so you would have an excuse to harass another forum member.

as further evidence, please see screenshot of his latest thread...

and compare to the thread itself...

basically VODALJEPA has removed all posts that disagree with his scam accusation from myself and other users

wut?
you have linked to a thread from nearly 4 years ago unrelated to coinpot!
if i remember correctly that was a self-moderated thread created by vodaljepa who removed my posts because they disagreed with his scam accusations
i dont understand the relevance?

You used a screenshot as evidence of censorship but today you are saying that screenshots are not evidence of anything. It appears to be a double standard. Screenshots are only acceptable evidence when you are negatively affected.
