1321  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is LISTED🔥 BUY🔺SELL🔺EXCHANGE|⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 15, 2021, 10:03:49 PM
I see that the price has jumped from 0.028 usd to 0.041 and slowly keeps growing. I havent been following betfury.io news for a while, but I see new section on the page - BetFury Farming. Has anyone checked it ? Dont miss your chance, as it offer APR 2248 % right now Smiley

Confusingly, they use the word staking on the farming page to refer to staking on this farming pool and also to staking on the casino where you earn dividends. Using the word 'farming' was also an odd choice since this is only pool staking and you are not providing liquidity to earn fees + reward tokens. Most people will quickly understand the differences but for newcomers and for people who are learning English it might be difficult to comprehend at first.

No,
The chance of winning Rolex is 0.5 in 1 billion.
Every time you spin the wheel, some mathematical calculations is done, a decimal number is obtained and is rounded to the nearest integer.

For winning Rolex, you must hit 1,000,000,000.
For hitting that number, the decimal number needs to be between 999,999,999.50 and 1,000,000,000.

After reading this post I decided to read through the details of how the spins are calculated. It says that the decimal is rounded down to the the nearest whole number. That would make the odds for winning the Rolex 1 in 4294967295 since there is nothing that can be rounded down to 1 billion and only the maximum 8 digit hexadecimal number is able to get a result of exactly 1 billion.
1323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Claim your FOX token If you used ShapeShift Before June 9 2021 on: July 15, 2021, 08:44:20 PM
I was not able to login to my old Shapeshift account due to them forcing me to reset my password when I created a mobile wallet on their app. I was logged out of the app and can't get back in. I don't think it uses mnemonic phrase as a backup because I couldn't find this option and I don't remember writing one down when I created an account on the mobile app. I was still however able to claim over $1,200 by connecting my Metamask and Portis wallet to the airdrop page. I had 3 wallet addresses which were eligible to receive FOX. It was a real pain in the ass with fees and technical issues but I came away with a nice amount.

I am after the Rolex more than the Lambo.I spin everyday with the hope of seeing that Watch Icon fall on the screen but I know this happens extremely rarely.I have been so close to that Amazon Gift card as I have won several times a week the 500 RP price which is near the Amazon Gift card but still haven't been able to win it.Nevertheless these prizes is what keeps me active during the day and also the best moment of the day is when I use the daily WOF from a being a Premium member here.

The prizes might be close on the animation but this is not meant to be interpreted literally. In reality each number is generated randomly and their position on the wheel has nothing to do with how close you were to winning a different prize. The odds of getting 500 RP is 20 million times greater than winning a Rolex so none of us are ever really close. It is just a matter of probability and randomness, eventually somebody will win it but we don't know how long it will take and who will be the winner.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is heartbreaking on: July 14, 2021, 09:43:34 PM
It is not surprising at all to see this proliferation of meme coins. There are some decent coins which are being overlooked because of this doggy coin hype. I don't know why they list all these joke coins when there are serious projects having to wait a long time to get on CoinMarketCap. These pump and dump scams should have a lower priority because we don't know how long they will last and almost nobody is trading them.
1326  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Mixer RN? on: July 14, 2021, 05:07:22 PM
Chain analysis companies have been able to track users of ChipMixer
Do you have any evidence to support this statement? Or did you mean people's post-mixing behavior is enough to deanonymize them, as opposed to any flaws in ChipMixer's processes? As far as I am aware, ChipMixer is one of the only mixers in which it hasn't been possible to link deposits and withdrawals.

Who are the users of ChipMixer? Do you know anything we're unaware of?  Roll Eyes

The procedure is completely different. As I said, you don't have any connection with your previous transactions and it's meaningless for someone to start searching for addresses that may be related. Try mixing 100 BTC with CoinJoin; it's a matter of time that you'll be revealed. With the mixer, you'll receive better privacy. Still, not 100%, obviously, but better than with CoinJoin.

Different blockchain analysis services were able to determine that ChipMixer was used by Binance hackers, KuCoin hackers, Twitter scammers, and ransomware attackers.

This doesn't necessarily mean that ChipMixer is flawed because they probably used other methods to deanonymize the users that were caught. With the amounts of BTC involved in these attacks it would require a lot of patience and cautiousness to effectively be able to hide your tracks.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin that two people highly esteem on: July 14, 2021, 03:54:05 AM
Matt Wallace is some cringey YouTube influencer who shills all kind of garbage. Who the f cares what these shitcoin pumpers think of Bitcoin? Maybe you will get lucky with whatever meme/scam/shitcoin flavor of the week this guy is peddling but most of the time you will lose money if you don't get out soon enough. He is just telling you to buy whatever he will end up dumping so that he can make a quick buck. Just ignore all this noise coming from scammers.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT has broken the buck, once Tether goes to zero so does the real value of BTC on: July 14, 2021, 03:22:22 AM
Many investors choose to keep their savings in USDC and DAI. Do not store all your stablecoins in USDT alone.
USDC is gaining a lot in popularity because it has a fair audit, although the company can lock your coins in a wallet just like USDT.
DAI is the most decentralized stablecoin without blocking.

A great percentage of DAI is backed by USDC and other centralized stablecoins so it carries some of the same risk as the alternatives. While DAI itself can't be frozen, it would be fairly easy for USDC issuers to freeze the collateral being used to back DAI if they were worried about illicit activity.

Chipmixer is the best known right now but there are also non-custodial options like Wasabi Wallet
Worth noting that we shouldn't confuse CoinJoining with Mixing. They both make your final outputs obfuscate, but there's an entire difference between them. If you mix your coins, you leave no footprints in the blockchain; you essentially receive outputs that have no connections with your activity.

ChipMixer is indeed a great mixer, but I believe you should read the available mixers and judge by yourself what's better for you: 2021 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites.

The process might be different but it is still mixing. The developers of Wasabi and Samourai even describe it as mixing. Mixing itself isn't enough to hide your tracks. Chain analysis companies have been able to track users of ChipMixer as well as Wasabi. Post-mix behavior is always an important factor for maintaining privacy.

I will really like to see a thread where "Winners" of the big prizes like those mentioned above ....can announce those wins, like they are doing with the big wins on the "Free Spins" ....because this has been running for months now and nobody are reporting large wins anywhere on this forum.

Now I know, the standard excuse is that many of the winners are not on this forum, but the same email that are send to the winners on the big "Free Spin" wins to reward them something extra to report it on this forum.. can be send for the winners of these big prizes.

We need some proof that there are actually people winning something bigger that 50 Satoshi.  Roll Eyes

It is not uncommon for people to win a reward higher than 50 sats. People post proof of 500 or 5k wins a few times each week. We even see people winning golden tickets. It is only the top 3 prizes which we have not seen any proof yet but the odds are so low to win them that I would be surprised if an active forum member has already won them.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Charlo vs Castano - July 17 on: July 13, 2021, 02:23:43 AM
Jr. Middleweight is not the strongest division but this is the best possible fight they can make at this weight. This is the first time we will see an undisputed champion since the WBO was recognized as a major world title so it has some historical significance. Castano does not have an impressive record but Charlo has had some close fights against this level of opposition. I think it will be a close fight but Charlo will win by decision or late knockout.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT has broken the buck, once Tether goes to zero so does the real value of BTC on: July 12, 2021, 08:55:04 PM
There are a lot of different stablecoins now. Tether's market share is steadily declining and there is not so much dependence on it anymore. There are many decentralized exchanges where USDT is not the dominant stablecoin. Even if tether is not fully backed they still have enough reserves for it to not be worth zero.

Chipmixer is the best known right now but there are also non-custodial options like Wasabi Wallet, Samourai Wallet and JoinMarket. There is also Mercury Wallet which uses statechains to swap coins between users off-chain.

I guess McGregor would still be happy because he made $20M in this fight, though he loses if he will heal soon then he can make a fight because he is still popular. Some say he is over, well, let's wait until McGregor would announce that.

I am sure Poirier will get some extra money from the pay-per-view buys but that still seems like a really low purse for a fight of this magnitude. If you compare this to boxing, Canelo's opponents are getting close to $10 million.

Even if McGregor recovers quickly I don't see things going much better for him. In each loss he's had recently he's gotten his ass kicked badly and that will really diminish a fighter.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful with Meme Coins on: July 11, 2021, 12:28:09 AM
I have always disagreed with the existence of meme coins such as doge and shiba inu, because in my opinion these coins have no utility and have no advantages at all compared to other altcoins, meme coins only rose due to temporary hype

People have the right to create whatever stupid coin they want. I just find it annoying that people are shilling these meme coins like they actually serve a purpose and they think it will flip Bitcoin. People who have a lot of money invested in these coins are clueless idiots and they encourage other fools to be wreckless with their money.
1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: July 10, 2021, 11:49:44 PM
Even if it takes say 10 days of self-isolation to be clear of COVID-19 the fighter, promoters and trainers will still need time to prepare for the fight. I also thought postponing the fight to October was somewhat unnecessary.

Waiting until October seems like an excessively long time but they are doing it to avoid other big sports events. The Pacquiao vs. Spence fight is next month and in September there is a Canelo fight. I hope this is the final postponement and it won't turn out like Lopez vs. Kambosos where it seems like every week they are changing the date and moving it further into the future.
1337  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is LISTED🔥 BUY🔺SELL🔺EXCHANGE|⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 09, 2021, 06:56:47 PM
There is also no need for that to happen neither, people do not realize that. I mean when you are in decentralized exchanges just let it be in the decentralized exchanges and you will be fine, I do not think that anyone will pressure others into making a centralized exchange push, that is just not needed at all. Think about it, there is an exchange where nobody controls your money, you do not give your money to other people, you own your money, nobody can take it away from you, there is no "our exchange was hacked" type of scam potential, decentralized exchanges are just awesome.

In return you still can trade (for some reason called swap here) and you can keep your money in your wallet up until the swap second and then you get other money in your wallet as soon as you trade. I would personally say that the best way to handle this is keeping it in decentralized exchanges. Go get it to apeswap and pancakeswap if you can, but not centralized ones.

Decentralized exchanges get hacked all the time. If you are just trying to exchange a token then you will probably be fine but if you want to farm or stake there are plenty of risks. There is the potential of smart contract bugs, flash loan attacks, impermanent loss, malicious owners stealing funds and many other ways you can lose money.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary Tokens on: July 09, 2021, 06:24:02 PM
Most new tokens have implemented similar deflationary mechanisms. They start out with a huge supply that gets gradually decreased. The purpose is to increase it's value by making it more scarce. This mainly seems to benefit early investors. I feel that by focusing so much on boosting price they will discourage adoption because people will not want to buy a coin that is too expensive. A lot of platforms that have their own token will charge a fee and then burn these coins. To me I would rather see them reduce fees or redistribute them to stakeholders instead of burning money that was used to pay for a service. Having lower fees would incentivize adoption and naturally increase the price.
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: July 09, 2021, 02:38:22 AM
Recently we have seen a big push by Binance to make NFTs popular on BSC. I still do not get the hype and think it is mostly a fad. There are more interesting projects that they could be focusing on. On Pancakeswap I had the opportunity to claim some NFTs. While I think the idea of having some trophies on my profile would be cool, I do not want to burn money to be able to claim them if they have almost no resale value as far as I'm aware of. It is a waste of money for me.

We have some breaking news. Yet another fight gets postponed. Tyson Fury has tested positive for Covid. He had been vaccinated but apparently he only had the first dose.
