2101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 29, 2020, 05:47:20 AM
The draw was ridiculous. Mike Tyson dominated that fight. I should have seen it coming though. This is usually what happens in an exhibition fight.

I thought Tyson looked really good when you consider his age and how long he's been retired. He is in better shape than Andy Ruiz and has more skills than Wilder. If he was still in his prime none of today's heavyweights would stand a chance against him.
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to withdraw money from tokens? | Etherscan info attached on: November 28, 2020, 07:51:19 PM
For anything worth less than $10 you will probably spend too much in fees that it is not worth exchanging. You can probably exchange these coins on Uniswap, although there is not a lot of volume and you will have to accept whatever price is available. ETH fees aren't too high right now but since smart contract interactions are required for the exchanging it'll be more expensive than a regular transaction.
2103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: November 28, 2020, 05:31:57 AM
Yes but it was to reveal is it worth it or not.

My feeling after these months is not

Although I accepts there were moments of profit. This thread confirmed the alarm bells for me.

So Im out!

There are moments when I look at the long term charts and it looks really favorable. But when you actually do some real world tests it is possible for a big whale to come along and wipe out many months or even years of profit. Your timing has to be just right in order to not get rekt.

YOLOdice was doing really great until somebody destroyed the LTC bankroll. Since then they had to reduce max bet profit and now you are lucky if you make 1% profit in a month. When a bankroll suffers a loss that big then some big player can come in and dilute your share to some tiny percentage, making it harder to recover your investment.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: US people are buying LTC while the other world is avoiding it on: November 28, 2020, 04:04:25 AM
Litecoin price will keep going up if Bitcoin's price goes up. It has a close relationship to BTC and many people use it as an intermediary coin to avoid high fees when using centralized services. Litecoin by itself is not that interesting. You can hold it as an investment because it will perform better than fiat and traditional investments but it's value in BTC will probably go down in the long term.
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 28, 2020, 03:16:33 AM
Mike Tyson looked in much better shape at the weigh in today. Roy Jones was still active in the sport as recently as 2018, yet he's in worse physical condition and I have a feeling he is only showing up to collect a paycheck. I don't know if it's true that there is a no knockout rule but anything can happen in the heat of the moment and Tyson is no stranger to fighting dirty.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: November 28, 2020, 02:05:28 AM
I read that Oscar de la Hoya is in training and preparing for a comeback fight. He is saying that he wants to fight GGG because it will be an easy fight for him. I think it is actually the opposite. GGG could seriously hurt him. His promotional company isn't doing too well with Canelo leaving them but facing a dangerous opponent because you're losing a lot of money is just crazy.
2107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you scared? on: November 28, 2020, 01:33:11 AM
Most people are not going to immediately switch to something that is brand new. The legacy financial system has already been in existence for centuries. Bitcoin is not insured and a mistake can cause you irreversible damage. People need to be more educated before they start using Bitcoin. Once you understand it it will seem easy to use but the high learning curve makes some people keep their distance.
2108  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: November 27, 2020, 03:41:53 AM
Staking is a form of investing. You are using the money that you have in order to make a profit. If you want to diversify your portfolio holding some staking coins might not be such a bad idea. You can earn some passive income so even if the price of the coin goes down you will still be earning some profit that can compensate for those losses.
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 27, 2020, 03:03:11 AM
I don't know if these guys will fight like it's an exhibition or will actually go all out and try to knock each other out. They have been training like they are fighting in a serious fight. This is obviously not the same Mike Tyson which threatened to eat Lennox Lewis' children but for a $50 PPV price I hope they can put on a good show for the fans.
2110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is moving sideways for day, Where to from here? on: November 27, 2020, 02:32:07 AM
A big correction was to be expected after how fast it had been rising in recent days. Institutional demand is still high so I don't expect it to go down much further. Altseason came and went because there was nothing their to sustain their momentum. Alts only benefited as a consequence of Bitcoin going up. BTC still has a lot going for it and I expect it to go back up and reach it's ATH in early 2021 or even late 2020.
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Look like xrp is take over on: November 27, 2020, 01:45:42 AM
We hear a lot of this marketing hype about how XRP is being adopted by banks. When you look at what's really happening this does not appear to be the case. XRP is a centralized, premined token. It is not a competitor to Bitcoin in any way. it is just something for the Ripple company to pump and make themselves rich.
2112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: November 27, 2020, 12:53:42 AM
Golovkin will just knock this guy out, you need to be a big puncher like Canelo Alvarez because Golovkin will not respect if you only have few knocks out in your credits and no big names  in your list

Oh how come you say that?, Golovkin is not like that. A record is a record and Szeremeta works his way up. It's an achievement already that Szeremeta will now face the boxer he is targeting wherein before he's just part of the undercard where Golovkin is the main event.

Golovkin even disrespects Alvarez now, and the feeling is mutual to Alvarez too because of the doping claims.

Szeremeta is surely the underdog here and everyone knows it. But no need to disrespect his hard work just because of the few knockouts and names involved on his record.

I think it is just a logical assessment. If Szeremeta  doesn't have the power to hurt low level fighters then he is not prepared for somebody with GGG's experience, power, and resistance. There is a massive disparity in each fighter's abilities and accomplishments. At this level we rarely see upsets when somebody is such a big underdog.
2113  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: November 26, 2020, 02:26:27 AM
The only explanation for this is they are intentionally scamming or there is a major bug that they have not bothered to fix. Either way it is a provably unfair game.

these are not the only explanations, and you know it!

for example some other reasonable explanations...
1. its some sort of display error - underneath its working fine
2. the roll history is just corrupt for this user - but they have really been rolled correctly
3. the screenshots are faked

im not saying any of these are definitely the case. thats because i can accept that i have NO EVIDENCE or PROOF either way, the same as you (or baby3d) doesnt have any evidence or proof.
but these are all possibilities too, and none of these 3 explanations make it less provably fair

all i do know is that baby3d has a clear incentive to misrepresent the facts as he/she has admitted that they are hellbent on destroying coinpot  Lips sealed
this is really all just FUD being spread by repetitive posts from 2 or 3 user accounts

Those are all just baseless conspiracy theories to excuse Coinpot's behavior. I know what I have seen with my own eyes and so do multiple other people who don't have any sort of agenda. There is no evidence that the screenshots are fake. At least half a dozen have been posted and everything lines up perfectly and the fonts match the fonts on the website. The purpose of the display is to show us that everything is fair and we don't have to just trust that everything is working fine underneath. If they can't get that to work properly they are undermining their own claims.

Wanting to destroy a website isn't an incentive. Collecting referral income from them, however, is one and you yourself have admitted that this is the reason why you defend them so much.
2114  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 26, 2020, 01:49:48 AM

Absolutely pathetic. They should have informed all punters regarding this rule before the elections started since very few read the T&C due to how complicated they are. Am seriously surprised to see such top books and exchanges delay player winnings like this

common sense says that until the election is certified, the results aren't official. i remember saying a couple months ago that any close election is gonna end up just like 2000, with weeks or even months of recounts, legal fights.

on that note, a pennsylvania judge just halted election certification proceedings amidst the legal fight over mail-in votes. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pennsylvania-judge-halts-election-certification-mail-in-vote-lawsuit

The court decision in Pennsylvania has no impact on the presidential race. They have already certified the results in favor of Biden and chosen electors. It will only have an impact on pending races which have not been certified. It is not likely that this will result in a decertification of the presidential race since the state supreme court has already thrown out other lawsuits attempting to invalidate hundreds of thousands of votes.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: November 26, 2020, 01:17:03 AM
And this is what I'm waiting, an interview with Angel Garcia and his animated take on his son's fight against Spence, hehehe

Quote
“At the end of the day I… can’t judge him (Spence),” Angel said on the Bridge Bizness podcast. “I know he’s supposed to be 100% when he comes. I just want the fans the people to understand that when Danny becomes champion Dec. 5, I don’t want to hear no bullcrap, no excuses. When Danny had bad decisions with (Keith) Thurman and (Shawn) Porter we didn’t cry the blues. I didn’t blame Danny. he didn’t blame me. We sucked it up. We still here.

“Dec. 5 he gonna shock the world again. Danny is 7 to 1 (underdog), go get rich!

https://www.boxingscene.com/angel-garcia-i-dont-want-hear-no-bullcrap-danny-beats-spence--153520

So let's see if his son can back it up against Spence here. And I think a lost by Danny could mean that he is just a gate keeper, as he always falls on big time fights for not letting his hands go in championship rounds.

7 to 1 seems far too wide in my opinion. It's been a while since Garcia has been in a meaningful fight but we have not seen any signs of him being in decline and he still has that big left hook. Spence didn't show the best defense in his last fight against a lesser puncher than Garcia. I think Danny has a very good chance of pulling the upset if Spence is diminished by the car accident.
2116  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 26, 2020, 12:46:11 AM
Looks like some or one whale just lost quite a bit of Bitcoin in the past few days;) I saw my investments jumped 0.6% profit just from that period. Guess the almost ATH price for BTC is making people a bit more excited. Again,,, the theory of price affecting wager was discussed several days ago but maybe it has a different effect at ATH levels?
Yeah. Just checked it.
I really thought they will be trying to minimize their bet to put their bitcoins in safety.
But, it looks like they are trying to gain more because of the high price. It's going to be a wavy profit.

More experienced gamblers probably will try and play it safe but with all the attention on crypto right now there is also going to be a bunch of newbies trying to get rich quick joining the site.

Our newest competition just started!  20+ ETH in prizes, and it's a Number Hunt!  Good luck, everyone!!!

I don't expect to win this but it is great to see a new competition after so many months. Good luck to everyone.
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: November 25, 2020, 04:06:07 AM
On December 18th, GGG will make his long awaited return to the boxing ring to face his mandatory challenger Kamil Szeremeta. GGG will be making the 21st defense of his middleweight title. These are not consecutive defenses since he already lost to Canelo but it is still an impressive record nonetheless.

The odds are not yet available but GGG should be a huge favorite. Szeremeta is undefeated but the most notable opponent on his record is former champion Kassim Ouma who was a decade past his prime. He also only has 5 knockouts in 21 fights.

I expect GGG to end the fight with an early knockout. Anything less would be a disapointment and would show that maybe GGG is no longer an elite level fighter.

2118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin increase in price other coins also increase while? on: November 25, 2020, 03:19:21 AM
There is usually some relation in price movements. If Bitcoin goes up other coins will also go up in USD value. Sometimes they don't correlate as much BTC goes up really fast it might take altcoins a while to catch up because people will sell their alts to get into BTC. You have to wait for BTC bulls to run out of steam and then alts will start to go up.
2119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government Don't kill btc? on: November 25, 2020, 02:47:57 AM
By now I would imagine most governments know they can't kill Bitcoin. They have already hampered it's progress with KYC and other nonsense regulation that prevents it from being adopted on a much larger scale. Through surveillance and AML/KYC compliance they can still control to a certain extent how people are able to use it.

There are also governments which have been sanctioned by the United States and they find it useful at circumventing restrictions.
2120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 25, 2020, 12:09:45 AM
I don't pay much attention to price so this has kind of snuck up on me. I have conflicted feelings about BTC reaching $20k again. On one hand I want to accumulate as much as possible and this bull run is making it difficult, but I also want the BTC that I already own to keep increasing in value. I guess the market will do what it does and I'm happy to be a part of this historic moment.
