To be honest I think you will have to wait for a long time before being able to buy FUN tokens at a lower price than nowadays. In the email they've sent today, their Last Week in Crypto newsletter, they confirm they are about to introduce their token burning program before the end of the current quarter.

Quote
FUN Token to Introduce a Token Burning Program Soon
[...]
On 25th May, FUN Token took to Twitter to confirm their plans for a token burning program to be introduced this quarter. A decentralized casino on the Ethereum mainnet is set to be launched soon, and the token burning program would be linked to the profits earned through any gaming operations launched by the organization. Further details coming soon, so stay tuned!

There are only 30 days remaining in the quarter so I expect some big announcements are right around the corner. We should get some clarity real soon. Everyone is eagerly anticipating the new casino launch. The old development team failed to live up to the hype but with Freebitco.in in charge hopefully it will be a different story.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can we discuss 51% attack here (for example on dodge) on: May 31, 2021, 11:19:37 PM
I don't see why you can't discuss it. I don't think there is a rule against it. If you were thinking about coordinating a 51% attack maybe this forum might not be the best place to discuss that. Attacking a blockchain might be considered unethical so the moderators would be justified if they wanted to delete it but if you're only discussing a hypothetical scenario I don't see anything wrong with it.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: May 31, 2021, 10:11:51 PM
Tomorrow is the deadline for them to reach an agreement before this goes to purse bids. Hearn has stated that they will ask for an extension otherwise Joshua will vacate the belt before they go to purse bids. Maybe Hearn doesn't want to get outbid by another promoter or maybe they want to avoid Usyk. Whatever the reason might be, if they vacated it would not be a very good look.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? on: May 30, 2021, 11:31:41 PM
I didn't know much about BSC until recently. From what I can see BSC can do everything that ETH can do and it is much faster and cheaper. It might be more centralized but for many things they are doing decentralization is not the most important thing. NFT's don't need any decentralization whatsoever. DeFi on ethereum is already somewhat centralized anyways because most nodes are running on cloud servers. BSC has managed to get so many projects built on their ecosystem in a short amount of time. At the rate it is growing it wouldn't surprise me if they flipped ethereum someday.

Even if you hold fun token without taking into any other factor, you can be sure that Fun token price will increase over the time. There are very few tokens which have a working product which make them valuable. We should hold FUN token only because it is launched by the freebitco.  Smiley
I was about to buy fun token the last time but the transaction fees for bitcoin is expensive. But now I think its already low compared to before.
How much is the price of fun currently? Im not updated because of my job, I also missed the daily free spin and free satoshis.

It is currently at 60 sats. It is a good deal if you bought today. The price is close to it's lowest point since the premium program launched and because the price of bitcoin has gone down the prizes from the wheel are at the max level.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: May 30, 2021, 05:39:45 AM
It's kinda boring though, it looks like Haney will win by decision.

I do hope that someone bet on him, still very attractive. However, Haney lacks power, if he steps up and fight elite boxers, he is a highlight knockout waiting to happen.

So far in my scorecard, Haney 9-1. I gave Linares round 10. Only 2 rounds left, let's see how it goes.

I thought it was much closer than that. Haney started out dominating but Linares kept closing the gap until he eventually was able to hurt him. Haney looked terrible in the final 3 rounds. A younger Linares would have KO'd him.

This aggressive strategy will not work for Haney against better competition. He lacks power and it took him a while to recover when he was hurt. He is still one of the top fighters of the division so I don't count him out against anybody but there are still a few things that don't give me too much confidence in him.
1507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 30, 2021, 04:50:53 AM
Father time takes a back seat for Donaire as he knocks out Oubaali in the 4th round after knocking him down twice in the third round he is 38 years old and he is now back congratulations to Donaire he still has the power the speed and his left hook, that really made a big difference.
This is a candidate for a knock-out of the year.

That is very impressive. I thought Donaire was really being underestimated but I expected him to grind out a decision but it was a much easier fight than anticipated. With this historic achievement it proves he deserves to be in the hall of fame when he retires. The fight that makes the most sense now would be a rematch of 2019's fight of the year against Inoue. He deserves that opportunity because he gave Inoue his toughest fight.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 29, 2021, 09:27:39 PM
Looks like they'll be scrambling to fill the undercard spot now that the fight was cancelled due to a dirty drug test.  I'm sure Jake Paul is looking to fill that slot himself, but I'm not sure how many people would be willing to step up with this little notice.  Although if Jake wanted, I'm sure he'd be able to find someone.  It's a bit concerning that the fight is still having setbacks, but I think we're all expecting to see a shit show so maybe a last minute undercard fight setup is par for the course.  Whatever happens, I just hope they don't cancel the main event.

I don't think anybody cares about the undercard. They could have no undercard fights and the PPV will still sell. They won't put Jake Paul on there because they can make more money putting him on his own main event. With only one week to prepare, they are not going to risk him being KO'd by some Uber driver they find at the last minute.

What I find annoying is that every big fight recently has had some shitcoin or NFT associated with it and this fight is not the exception. I don't know what this EthereumMax crap is but they are accepting it for online ticket purchases. I'm not sure it's even an official partnership, it looks like the eMax people are just reselling tickets and making misleading claims about their association with this event.

I am getting an interest boost of 2.5% and on the website it is displayed as 4.18% yearly interest and not 6.58%. As a percentage of my total balance it is only a 0.10% increase but as a percentage of the previous rate it is 2.5% higher.

For me the extra interest is not an important factor to consider when investing in FUN because unless you're a big whale who can deposit several BTC it will take more than a lifetime to earn back what you paid for these tokens from just the additional interest alone.
I believe that's not really that impossible but you are forgetting the fact that you also have fun token, which could be more valuable or not as well. So we are talking about something like buying a house, sure most of the time it would take maybe a decade for you to get back the house value from the rent profit you make each month, as a landlord you buy a house for 200k and rent it for 1000 and then you get it back after only 200 months. However the house is also now 500k after 200 months, you are forgetting that profit.

Of course there are other benefits to holding FUN tokens but for me getting additional interest ranks at the bottom of everything else. Getting reward points and sats from the wheel was the deciding factor for me when I bought these tokens.
1510  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin double spend on: May 29, 2021, 02:20:41 AM
On the manual page it says they are just using RBF to replace an unconfirmed transaction. It is much more simpler to just do this yourself without having to pay a fee to some shady website. Electrum already has an option to cancel a transaction and send the unconfirmed coins back to yourself.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about Litecoin? on: May 29, 2021, 01:49:54 AM
I own a little bit of litecoin because I was trying to save on fees a few weeks ago. The price has gone down more than BTC I believe. It seems that people have forgotten about it because we hear very little about it in the media. I'm not sure they have very much development going on. A few years ago they were the first to implement segwit, but this time around it seems like they will be late with adding Taproot support.
1512  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 29, 2021, 12:22:50 AM
I do and I think with the Premium membership with FUN tokens they have introduced from a few months now this becomes even better. For people who own at least 12500 FUN tokens and hold them for a year will get an extra boost to their interest which will go 10% and 10% is a really big amount to take into consideration.I am near this amount of tokens and with the price a token have right now anyone that has been in crypto for some time can afford this amount.Beside that we get those daily free spins which occasionally gives you 5000 RP, 5000 Satoshi or 5000 Lottery tickets.

Is that how it works though?

My impression is that the current interest would get boosted by 10%, meaning that if somebody had 4% interest and that interest amount gets boosted by 10%, meaning they would be getting 4.4% interest.

Maybe I'm wrong, and if somebody is getting 4% now and they get 14% after, then that would be another story, but that seems way too high to be realistic.

If it is option #1, then I wouldn't say that there is a big difference between 4% and 4.4% interest for example.

You are correct. I am getting an interest boost of 2.5% and on the website it is displayed as 4.18% yearly interest and not 6.58%. As a percentage of my total balance it is only a 0.10% increase but as a percentage of the previous rate it is 2.5% higher.

1513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: May 28, 2021, 03:00:50 AM
I would not buy a Tesla with BTC because I'm not a fan of their vehicles, especially after Elon's unhinged statements regarding Bitcoin's environmental impact. I would happily buy a different car if it was an option. I would not have any regrets even if bitcoin went to a million dollars because I would be buying something that I found necessary and was worth the value I paid for it at the time.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 28, 2021, 02:04:09 AM
If Donaire were to win then he would be the oldest bantamweight champion ever. People have been counting him out for the last several years but he has still managed to remain competitive with the top fighters. If he wins this fight then he would have a good case for getting into the hall of fame.
1515  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️BFG listing party on: May 28, 2021, 01:29:38 AM
Looking at some of the coins in the lower top 100 it is not unrealistic to think that BFG could make it there some day. A lot of the coins one there are just random coins getting pumped by the defi hype. They have no usability outside of trading and yield farming. I'm not really certain how CoinMarketCap detrmines a coin's rank because Hex and Safemoon are worth billions but they are not listed in the top 100.

We should take into account that if BFG is worth hundreds of millions of dollars that does not mean they could actually sell all their tokens for that amount all at once. Market cap can be kind of misleading.

@LTU @Lucius, it happens on Brave too.

Perhaps it's a sneaky marketing ploy to lure users to the Lottery?

It also happens on desktop if you resize the window to move all the tabs into a hamburger menu. It is such a minor issue that nobody has noticed it before.

Hi.
There is a bug in the web page, when Opening it on a mobile device. When you click on the top right button a menu appears, if you choose "lottery" the menu doesn't disappear and you need to touch/click elsewhere to make it disappear. Please fix it, it's annoying.
And another thing, please add funtoken's telegram group's link somewhere in here or freebitco or daily emails, so people can join and it will make funtoken more popular.
Thanks

One extra click isn't enough of an impact on my experience to consider it annoying.

I do agree about doing more to promote FUN token specifically. We know about the premium program but aside from that I'm not sure where to discuss things like the FUN poker tournament or the roadmap. The only way to find these conversations is to stumble upon the link to the FUN token website and then from there find a link to their other channels of communication.
1517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it so bad that Elon and Saylor are talking with miners about clean energy on: May 27, 2021, 01:56:29 AM
Anytime someone is trying to act as an authority figure people will be suspicious about their motives. If billionaires somehow were able to influence a majority of miners to do their bidding it would destroy Bitcoin. They could make changes to benefit their corporate interests. It is preferred to keep mining as decentralized as possible instead of having to be accountable to any leadership.

Can anyone explain the interest payout here? It's only a 1 sat difference, but I just don't get it?

there is 4.08% annual interest, you have to divide by a month and a day, but if you still confusing about that, maybe you have to read in the FAQ I quote;

Quote
Daily interest will be calculated at a random time everyday @ 0.0109589% per day

Sure, sure, but how do I get less interest when I have a higher balance?

This has also happened to me before. I think it is a rounding thing. If they credit you with the precise amount it would be 9.8 satoshis. Since satoshis is the lowest denomination for bitcoin they can't give you a fraction so they end up giving you an extra sat every few days.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 26, 2021, 03:27:56 AM
This fight has kind of flown under the radar. I didn't know it was happening this weekend but I am very interested. If Donaire wins then I think Inoue would prefer to give him a rematch than fight Casimero. Inoue will be fighting in a few weeks so their schedules line up for a potential fight. We will see how the long layoff has affected each fighter. Donaire is older but Oubaali is also old for the weight class and doesn't have much experience. It is a more even fight than the odds suggest, in my opinion. If Donaire loses then it is time to retire because if he can't beat Oubaali then he isn't beating the other champions.

PSA: If you deposit any amount below the minimum (e.g. BTC @ 0.00015), you will never get it back under any circumstances. Just happened to me and I had to somewhat gamble larger stakes in order to make up for the blunder

While the disclaimer is there on the deposit window, I wonder why won't they credit that amount even if your next deposit meets the minimum.

I think this is fair, that they don't credit small deposits. Anything below 0.00015 BTC is basically considered a micro transaction. They are losing most, if not all, of the amount in transaction fees when you do this. Currently the average transaction fee for bitcoin is $15 and the median fee is $7.
