2161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why people holding their coins when the price is going down for sure... on: July 04, 2013, 07:20:17 AM
MT Gox withdraws are back online now, it just may have some positive price pressure on now...

I didn't sell ... glad I held on... even if drops more that's fine it'll be back at some point...

MSI never leads me down and this gen of Gigabyte 7950 is really good as well.
2165  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 01, 2013, 12:24:49 AM
Since I sold my shares around 3.24, I never get it back ....but ,I hold large quantity of DMC.......So I also be part benefit out by this increase...

I am holding couple hundreds BTC in hand and still put my buy orders at 3.25 which seems hopeless right now....

I feel regret now,how could I sold my shares at 3.24........I am really mad at that time.....

sorry, man, I feel for you.

Pff I sold my shares at 1.7  or 1.6, somewhere around there   8_[

Re-bought in, sold at 2.9 I think it was.

Re-bought in again, sold at 3.4    (this time I was like NO WAY it's going to go much higher...but of course...lol...)

Re-bought (less shares) now at 4.2  and going to hold on for a while.

Everytime I doubt ASICMiner I get proven wrong.
2166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Batch 3 [CLOSED- Seven 4 module Avalons ordered] on: July 01, 2013, 12:21:58 AM
Thanks for the big update C.H and thanks for all your work on this project as well.
2167  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why are people cheering that ASICMINER will bring 800-1000TH online this year? on: July 01, 2013, 12:16:30 AM
Well, you are free to buy stocks in ASICMiner if you do think they'll continue to do as well as they have.  So it's fair enough in that sense.
2168  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 500:1 odds BFL stops refunds by July. on: June 30, 2013, 02:07:42 AM
Here it is. You've been warned.

Pretty good call !

Hey Coinhoarder how are ya doing dude ? Did the delay mess up your hosting plans?

I was wondering if there has been any talk about overclocking the Avalons. Anyone down? I don't propose we push them to 100 GH/s or anything but just a safe reasonable overclock of like 10% or so , whatever heat allows.

Also still think Bitfunder or BTC-TC would be great to set up shares on, so you don't have to manage it, and also (I'd imagine) would raise the value of the shares as well 'cuz more people will have an easier time trading them.
2170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we say bubble pop? on: June 29, 2013, 02:33:25 AM
DElfation? Hrmm am I missing somethng.  You meant inflation right?
2171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: June 29, 2013, 02:25:41 AM
Ya things aren't looking that great.

I was fine with the lateness up until I found out that Avalon is shipping the many 10'000's of chips out before we are getting the product we ordered months earlier  Cry   And now there looks like a decent amount of evidence indicates that a lot of pre-mining is being with the machines before they are being sent out, which is even worse.

Of all the people ordering from Avalon, batch 3 has the worst ROI, behind most of the Avalon clones that are coming out (which are much cheaper than what we paid...)

Perhaps the Cyber-Gods are getting back at me for bashing BFL all those times about how late they were...

Sorta funny that it is about 10x easier to make these coins than it is a pool for them.

Neat idea nice work.
2175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [AVALON] - I got my ASIC Thread (Batch #2) on: June 28, 2013, 02:48:37 AM
I'd really like to know how much mining they've been doing for the burn-in.  Need a friendly IT Super Hero dude to do some foresenics and figure it out for all of us.

Worker 1AYdAw8CcrQ2wx55LTbFHRn5bxgNZhaRLW seems like a unique name. I wonder if eligius dudes would be able to let us know how much mining was done with that worker.
2176  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: June 28, 2013, 02:35:09 AM
Hmmm considering buying in.

I like the looks of AMC, and it seems well thought-out enough.

But one thing that I get hung up on is the amount of $ they need to raise. Currently the .000025 shares represent upwards of 3800 BTC.  That's a heck of lot of bit-clams to raise from the community.  Am I correct in understanding if they don't raise this capital the plans to build the new chips will not go through?

I don't know if I can see that magnitude of BTC being invested in the company, no matter how good things look.

I'm using the new update. I just d/led it from github, for the first time, about 2 hours ago.

edit: Ok ya bitgemd is showing the version as 0.4.1-nvc....

So have the gui windows wallet bins been updated, but not the linux bitgemd ?   That's disappointing if true.  Thanks for any help...

edit 2: erased all earlier files. i might have gimped something. re/dling block chain seeing if this will work one more time...

edit 3: ok no more error message now, could be good.  Does 11419 blocks sound about right?
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BTG BitGem REQUIRED UPDATE 0.4.1.5 BEFORE 15 JUL | Try new GemWallet. on: June 27, 2013, 11:15:10 PM
Kinda bored thought I'd try this co..err..gem out today.

The block explorer is down though. Is this coin working ok currently?

I'm getting a "checkpoint is too old. wait for block chain to download or notify developers" in my bitgemd.

So I guess I'm notifying the developers currently.  Does anyone know if 11417 blocks sounds right for the network? I can't download anymore...

So what makes this coin unique?

SistaFista is profiting off of this one, as opposed to the last 50 other scamalts, made by other people.
