2181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 04, 2023, 09:52:13 PM
When it comes to gambling referrals it is not about quantity but the quality of the people you can refer, as many times the only thing you need to do is to refer a single whale and that can be more than enough to obtain good profits, however this is something difficult to do as whales prefer to play at the casinos in which they have already reached a high VIP status as this allows them to get huge bonuses compared to what they can get at other casinos.
There are referrers that think quantity is the best, it's like they're not thinking long term with their referrals and they're just like one-time referrals and that's all good and good.
I agree that it's about the quality and those that have been quality referrals will bring you more stable income by the way they're gambling. It's a niche that everyone should think of if they're for referrals and affiliate marketing.
The more quality they are, the more money you'll get as a commission from referring them and it's not going to be easy, there must be something you should do to take them and that's why too many helpful articles are there with attached referral links on some particular words.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Existing Crypto Casinos Were Able to Churn Fiat Casinos User? on: April 04, 2023, 07:38:23 PM
A traditional gambler is indeed hard to change what he's got used to. There will be a time that he'll find a newer one for him to enjoy gambling.
But I'll just let them gamble where they are happy and that's okay. If they're happier and more satisfied doing all their stuff in the traditional casinos, that's fine.
While we're here and happy gambling with the crypto casinos, they'll not also worry and touch us. They'll learn it eventually as many have probably heard something good about crypto and crypto casinos already.

Did he invest somewhere else? Because based on the story, it seems that he didn't get any investment that will make his money work for him. I guess that's the one thing that he lacked when he's been on those times of earning well as a seafarer. As he grew old and on his age, it's hard to get some onboarding again and that's the reality unless he's been with the company for so long and he's got a senior position that's needed in the ship. Sadly, many old folks have been experiencing this, working all of their lives and doing everything to send their children to the best schools and give them the education they deserve unknowingly didn't prepared for what's to come to them. And to those that are earning well for now, this isn't just the only story that I've heard of, too many have compromised their future and didn't think of themselves just to give their family a good life. You still need to take care of yourselves because when you get there, you'll never know who's there to help you.
2184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Been building inter-island Bitcoin, crypto & Web3 communities for a while on: April 04, 2023, 10:01:40 AM
Congrats cc!
That's certainly a lot of things you've done over 2 months. I've been seeing those things on social media and it could be one of those pictures that you're also there. Keep it up, there have been a lot of our countrymen that still lack education about things in the crypto space.
By any chance, are you part of the Bitskwela since it has just popped on my feed and it seems they've been on a roundtrip in particular islands (Boracay) as well?
I can remember that I've been part of an old crypto community in our country but then it became passive and can't find it anymore, maybe dissolved. It's hard to maintain such crypto communities in particular places and it's even the hardest to build so, well done to you!

Technically I've started mid last year but I've taken it very seriously since January. If you see that in January I was also not that active. I only have 3 posts. Then February I only have one post and had been gone for a long while.

Yes it is hard to maintain but luckily I have volunteers in every city/province who choose to be the ones in charge for keeping the community engaged, etc., especially that they have their own startups.

I believe it's hard to keep them if the community are just money-motivated rather than being bullish on the tech and utility itself. I can relate to that because I have built a community last 2018 and it failed because of the bear market where they are so affected. They only emerged from their "caves" when bull run comes again and then goes silent and hiding when things are really quiet.

I would rather build a community that whenever bullish or bearish they would still be active as enthusiasts, builders, etc. So I built from scratch and testing the unknown waters to educate and "re-educate" them about the reality of Bitcoin, crypto, Web3, etc., where there are no guarantees and promises in terms of the price.

Unfortunately I wasn't in Boracay where Bitskwela participated in the conference organized by Pouch.ph and Coins.ph. It's schedule conflict to me however. But in Boracay, most of them were Bitcoin maximalists and "utilitarians" where Pouch.ph was heavily adopted as mode of payment in various establishments.
I thought that you're one of them but good thing that you also know them. I understand where you're coming from about being an advocate and you've got no source or you're gonna get the budget deep from your pocket. But with your eagerness and vision to educate everyone and re-educate those that have probably forgotten the lessons you've taught them. It's a thing that we mostly see from them that many in the community were just motivated during the bull run and lie-lows whenever we experience the bear market. You've been a lot, through thick and thin and you're all sharing them because you have passion and love to bitcoin and the tech. Well done and keep it up, mate.

Ano 'to?

[1] https://www.revolut.com/news/revolut_launches_revolut_chat_an_instant_messaging_feature_in_step_forward_to_super_app/
2186  Local / Pamilihan / Re: PHLWIN Fraud/Scam nga ba? on: April 04, 2023, 08:28:04 AM

So, di ko alam, baka legit sa "ngayon" at may balak maging scam in the future itong app na to.

If it's from someone who works for that casino and just took it without the casino's permission then that's data stealing. And if it's even put up for sale for a "cheap" price as you say, that's illegal. But either way, it's illegal or legal, someone could buy as said by yahoo that it can be just random email addresses that weren't verified its authenticity.

It is not ethical or legal to sell personal information or data without the explicit consent of the individuals involved.
Illegal as it's stealing and without consent breaches some laws about data privacy. This is happening in many countries and companies but law enforcement has a hard time dealing with all of them.
2189  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Websites like BSpin.io ? on: April 03, 2023, 09:48:08 PM
If you want to use a faucet that you can get prizes each hour I would recommend: https://freebitcoins.com/faucet/

That one let us claim multiple coins too.
This is the first website that I've thought of if it's about having a faucet to claim every hour.

Seem the usual way of promoting a casino. BSpin will have to continue this 30 sats every 20 mins until they get more users as well. Betfury stopping the boxes and making them available for rank 2 users can decrease users' activity. That experiment will likely backfire.
Yes, that's part of their promo to garner more users on them. And from the time that they've taken the number that they've projected after having this promo, they might just stop the service. But if it's one of the reasons to make them have more traffic and make their users stay, they don't have to remove the feature just like what freebitco.in has done over all of these years. Aside from faucets, OP can just join those promotional threads on the Games and rounds(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0) and join the raffles and contests there.
2190  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The rise of Yuan & USD becoming a shitcoin. on: April 03, 2023, 09:00:08 PM
It's still in the process and we can call it for now as in the 'papers'. Meaning that they've got an agreement but it's not yet happening until it does.  I remember that I watched a video recently explaining how this has come into reality it has been there for several years ago and it's just waiting to happen. So, with all of these agreements and papers works, they've come all united to have some considerations on what they are up to and that's to detach from the pair of using USD with their trades. Yes, the Chinese Yuan will be their main currency of trade and that's why it's looking to be a threat to the US economy especially if other countries rich in oil will join this global treaty. We will wait and let's see how things going to work for BRICS and the USA.

Thought that you were going to offer something to this thread on how to maximize profits by having some bots or tips on your telegram channel. Well, I guess that I've been just used to those types of threads where they're giving offers that shall make someone enticed with what they're boasting up with their profits and some strategies that can only be found "on their channel" so, they invite members and users to get there because the information is only there. But then, I was wrong and it tends out that it was something else. Those threads really are sticking in my mind and I guess to the others as well that used to see them.
Common impression?

Yes, this is what i do actually assumed of, on which we might be able to see once again some TG links or URL's which would really be given out and saying that there's a way on maximizing profits which
we know that there's no such thing that do exist.  Cheesy
And that's not what we actually saw on this thread and it was something else that is better than what we've thought of.

Maximizing is something that would really be entirely depending on you on how you do make and choose up your bets. You cant really just put it up and go stick
with the favorites all the time.
The different thing here is that OP talks about how to maximize profits through the usage of crypto as deposits and payments. And for which, this isn't new to all of us. But anyway, if it seems new to him then that's okay because it truly is more than just a crypto"currency" as he speaks to it also as an investment. Going through our bets, you can maximize the profit based on how you see and what your thoughts are about it.

Big casinos can be worth a hundred million dollars for companies up to a billion dollars. If there are new casinos, you can't be sure how much capital they've got and how worth they are. That's why if you just want to know how much they're worth and how they're able to pay for influencers, you can search for them and do some research because it's easy to know how they can afford to pay these people to advertise them. If they can't do it, they won't have the guts to hire some prominent people not just from the gambling industry to advertise them.
usually only big casinos dare to spend big on promotions and campaigns let alone hiring influencers of course they also have a very large initial capital to attract many people to gamble at the casino, the net profit from the casino is usually from the gambler's defeat so not only the capital returns but also This casino gets a big advantage if it dares to spend big money at the beginning of introducing the casino. actually to find out more deeply the OP needs to do a thorough research.
It's part of their spending budget for marketing. See how these big casinos have a big budget for marketing and hiring those influencers and celebrities with a huge following. They know how impactful marketing and viewership are and that's why they'll have no inch of thought to spend and pay their talent fee. There's no other source of income if we will look at the casino's perspective, there's only one way that they could earn money and that's from the customers that will be taken through the sponsorship and influencers' encouragement to them when they're being viewed. That's why they're called as influencers because they can easily influence the decision making of their subscribers and fans.
2194  Economy / Gambling / Re: A way to attract new users or a misunderstanding? on: April 03, 2023, 06:57:42 PM
In casino world, I think the way to get a good time is to find the most user-friendly casino and gambling platform.
You should use a casino that's friendly to everybody and can cater to customers' concerns at most times. Having such a feature in a casino, that's gonna make you come back anytime you're out and it just gives you an idea of how good they are based on how you experienced their services.

There are several attempts of casino to create a good app, and I think this is the main way for casino companies to raise popularity.
Attaching with web3, it's not all needed to have. If they can act as a sole casino then that's the best thing for them to have, most gamblers just want to get on them because they're simple as they are when they've onboarded a lot of players.
2195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 03, 2023, 06:13:57 PM
As much as I'd like Luka on the Knicks that isn't happening anytime soon.  Why would Dallas give up a generational player for some pieces back and draft picks which are unknowns.  Them trading for kyrie shows they are trying to build around Luka. No once he hits free agency that would be amazing if knicks had the cap space at that position but that's not until 2027.  Luka isn't going anywhere.
Yeah, it's like he's the new generation of Nowitzki and I doubt that Mark Cuban will just allow that to happen when it's like he's already the banner of their team.

We already knew that Davis is capable of giving his team these kind of numbers. It's just that most of us forget that he is doing it because in our my mind, what we often thinks about him is his injuries. He's the main guy back when he is on the Pelicans and carried his team to the 8th seeded a few years ago, but got swept in the first round.

He got 40 points while Lebron got a triple double. It's good that Lebron isn't focusing that much on scoring anymore because he doesn't need to TBH. He has reliable team members who can step up when needed. Players like Reaves, Russell, and even Schroeder, Beasley, and Hachimura can step up offensively especially Rui on this game where he got a double-double 20 points and 12 rebounds.
He's one of the main guys on the team and it just became delayed when he's getting injuries in the past. But he's getting it back again and everyone is just happy to see when we're seeing a healthy AD contributing to their wins. It's also funny to see those posts about Rui, they're saying that he's on "anime mode". For if you are watching some animes, the main characters are winning and becoming better. LOL.
2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 03, 2023, 05:41:23 PM
That I do agree. He needs to take the situation one at a time as he doesn't know yet what the future holds for him.
They can't decide what to do next if the fight is not even happening yet.
He will know his capability as a boxer after the match, if he can still pursue one more given he's also aging.
Much better if he will retire the sports on a winning side. There's a lot younger generation just waiting for their turn to shine.
If he will retire in good shape, then, that's already winning in my opinion. Not all boxers retire with money and good health.
That is what most fans are thinking of him, he just needs to pursue retirement after just winning any match. Regardless of whom it was against, that's what we want to happen for him. But that's what he wants for himself? We guess so and hopefully that's actually what he wants to happen. Because if not, he might just find out that retirement is really for him whether he wins or not. He just needs to take one more shot if he's not yet satisfied with his current situation before he retires. Because if he retires and it's also a loss on his end, that won't be the best retirement ever but he has to embrace that with an open heart as not all boxers are ending retirement with a recent win.

2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How honest and transparent are casinos? on: April 03, 2023, 09:31:53 AM
I have seen several casinos with promotions where they do "drops" to thousands of people or they give bonuses to several gamblers, but how transparent is this process?

Do you think casinos are really doing these drops to 1000s of people or are they skimming from the top.... ? They might say a drop is for 2500 people, but they might only drop for 500 people and nobody will know. Yes, some of those 500 people will report that they have received the drop and it will look legit.... but is it really?

How can the gamblers verify that the actual amount of people are receiving the drop or the bonus, if there are no list to verify it? Let's discuss this.. I am curious if other people also thought about this...  Tongue
If it's from a reputable casino, I wouldn't doubt it since they're very popular and have got the respect of the community then it is for sure that they're transparent enough that they're releasing those wins and the selection process is fair to all. That's why they've got some requirements for someone to participate in the selection because they need to address that for everyone to still have some effort in joining. As for the amount given, you can always verify that by reading the rules and how much is the actual thing that they've dropped. I know that there might no list of the eligible participants but this is what the trust comes and it depends on them if they'll release the winners but IMHO, there's really no need for it and as a community, with that casino the winners can just have some chit chat and conversation to see who claims that they've chosen as winners.
2199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: April 03, 2023, 08:51:50 AM
But if you want to chase your losses whether with reasons or none, you'll keep on chasing it.

It's also quite subjective since once we are in that situation, we will have our reason why we should continue or not.

OP needs some clarification not knowing that the answer relies on us.

Maybe OP needs to test it on actual. Go on gambling and if lose, decide if will chase the loss or stop gambling, or just take a break.
The majority will be in chasing mode but yeah, it's good to try it on his own to know if that's going to be a chase for him or he can have his closure without having such.
But needless to say, when we just keep on losing and there's no need to gamble anymore within that period of time and you just keep on dwelling losses, you just need to take some rest.
Forget all of those losses you've incurred within that day and just leave it there. You can't recover that quickly in a day or else you'll lose more than what you've got put as your allocated budget within that day.

Guys, Anthony Davis was a monster against the Rockets. He's got 40 points while Lebron also helped the team to win 18 points. They considerably have good assists and rebounds as well. And this is the AD that we're all wanting to see. He just needs to keep himself healthy and the Lakers from the pit going up then. And with another team that I'm talking about recently, the Knicks. They've just won as well against the Wizards. Brunson delivered again the team with 27 points!
