The problems for AO continue and seem to have no end.
This is the latest news: ''Between 500 and 600 Australian Open players, officials and support staff will go into isolation after a worker at one of the event's quarantine hotels tested positive for coronavirus.''
How this will affect the holding of the tournament and what else could happen by the start of the tournament?
This tournament has more and more problems with each new day and I sincerely hope that there will be no postponement or cancellation of the tournament.

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/55904746

This is not good for the tournament and also for the public as the hotel worker has been around many places in Melbourne and now some parts are going into lockdown because of this. The Victorian government was worried about this but he didn't want to cancel the AO because of fears Australia might lose the grand slam to another country. I just hope that they can get this under control and that all the players and official test negative because if some test positive then I'm not sure the AO will go ahead as planned.

Damn, when we thought that everything has been settled down specially quarantine and health protocols, another problem came in just before the opening. Yes, this is not good as it might extend the AO again. I don't know what measures the Victorian government and the AO organizers as everything is out of control now. Test can comeback in 24 hours I believed so I do hope that the results are already in for majority of the players.

Well the good news is that the players don't need to quarantine again for 14 days and if their tests come back negative they are free to practice and play as the AO officials don't want to push the AO back and want it to start on Monday. So it will be going ahead as planned this Monday unless something drastic happens between now and then.

In the latest news, cricket Australia have cancelled the Australian tour of South Africa due to the virus and the concerns about the new virus strain. They offered for South Africa to come play in Australia but they knocked it back which is understandable. I'm sure something could be worked out like we have been seeing with other series going on.

Looks like he’s just showing how easily the cryptomarket is manipulable. People FOMOing because he tweets about, where he probably bought in for peanuts and laughs himself a hernia. It’s good in one perspective, because people are noticing the possibilities, but I rather wish he wouldn’t. Loads are getting rekt because of him, I’m sure..
McAfee 2.0

That is the problem I have with Elon as to me it seems like he is playing around with Doge. Last week he removed Doge from his BIO on twitter and replaced it with Bitcoin and now he has removed Bitcoin from his BIO and starts tweeting about Doge. Its not good for crypto as like you said there are many getting rekt with these Doge pumps and most would be newbies coming in and listening to his tweets.

I'm not aware and updated about that issue, well it is really good to know that they are able to process the withdrawal within 24 hours. Looks like the AcedBets already improved. Let's just hope they are active here too in the forum.

As far as I know the team will most likely not be all that active on here unless there are major updates. The team are currently working on some minor changes to the site with games being placed in the correct time at which they start and a few other things which will most likely be fixed in the next update. They also plan on cutting withdrawal times down in the near future. I get most of this from their discord server where the team are more active so I do my best to pass it on in here.

There's some chatter going on in discord about february 4th... not too sure on the specifics, but potential another run. Could be in any direction tho lol

Which discord are you referring to ? May I have the link of it ?

Theres a lot of smaller groups planning for 4th from what ive seen
and its likely there will be more influx of users and cash after deposits settle in on robinhood

It looks like that's a pretty optimistic bet and I don't think it's possible this time.
Money flew to other coins already. Doge should do a new dip before we see any price rally.

I was thinking the same as after this recent pump and then when the price started going down it looked like the money was flowing into XRP, UNI and a few others. I'm not sure if we'll see the same like we just saw but we just never know. Also Ethereum is now starting to take the spotlight away from other Alts so it will be interesting to see what happens on February 4th.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: February 02, 2021, 09:40:24 PM
Sad to see dash like this, falling down ranking. No buzz.

Buy silver

Yikes... of course this is just my opinion but don't buy precious metals. A great transfer of wealth is occurring right before everyone's eyes. If this year is anything like 2017 (and 2013) then even the most useless cryptos will increase somewhere between 20x and 100+x by the end of this year (before the bubble pops).

Heck, DASH did better than 2x in 2020, even when deep in a bear market...

PS: DASH has seemed to quietly broken thru resistance that it had been testing since Jan 8 (descending wedge). At this point I would either expect it to fall back down (0.0029 BTC or less) or make a good run at the 50 day SMA at about 0.0035 BTC.

I think a lot have forgotten about Dash being one of the top 20 cryptocurrencies for a long time and in recent times it has been falling down the ranks but I think Dash will have its day once again. Right now I'm happy with where Dash is at the moment as I do expect it won't last much longer.

I actually really like them odds for Stefanos Tsitsipas. On the local news here in Australia they spoke with Stefanos Tsitsipas and he said that he feels ready to go even though it was tough in quarantine. I like the way he was confident about this years AO which is why I might put $20 on him to see how he goes. We all know that he does have a good record at the AO and this could be his year.
Given how the preparation for the tournament went, I think no one will be surprised at any outcome and both the favorites of the first row can win, and other tennis players can also shoot. Although I would not be surprised that the special conditions of quarantine in Adelaide will play in favor of those who were there and someone from the three consisting of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic or Dominic Thiem will take the first super title of the season.

True the conditions for quarantine in Adelaide was a lot better then in Melbourne and it might gives the players that did quarantine in Adelaide a slight edge, time will tell once the tournament is in the middle stages.

Not good news about Nadal as he has sustained a lower back injury and is in danger of missing the AO with less then a week before it starts. I hope he can recover quickly because we need the top players playing.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 01, 2021, 10:10:16 PM
Anyone looking at the odds now?

My boy Stefanos Tsitsipas seems to be very attractive odds, so I might throw some just for fun. LOL.

What do you think of the odds though? Better to get your bets early to enjoy some juicy odds. Even Djokovic @2.2 is very good odds for a favorite.

Hi guys, don't want to be a party pooper but I think we will miss this alt season. We had 3 years and things went from bad to worse. Hope no one is all in as you might be missing some serious gains with other coins. Sometimes things don't work out. Just trying to be realistic

Maybe we'll catch the next alt season 😉

Perhaps I got a little too excited there. I share your sentiment. The last 3 years didn't really work out and looking back apart from moinmovement I don't recall any development. A part of me just wants moin to keep on living. We've been here since 2014-2015 so no point in dying yet. That is one thing we will always have. Smiley

I've been making a list of possible exchanges we can submit to and will post it here in a few days.

Regardless, looks like the next few days, months, or year(s) will be quite the ride for crypto. Just hope you guys didn't go all in on dogecoin Wink

P.s. In the meantime, here's quite a good read: https://uniswap.org/blog/uniswap-history/. Vella's idea on restarting as a token makes sense, after all we could just use a DEX and solidity is a high-level language. But most moiners like the staking bit. Perhaps kingcaper could consider this and give an honest view of where he sees moin going. We'll have to walk until we can run again. With time and effort I hope moin will live, we somehow made it this far. Just gotta figure out the effort part. Wink

Yes I understand that most in the community like staking and I am one of them. If MOIN does switch to a token it doesn't mean we will lose staking as there are many tokens now staking as the yieldfarming hype has cooled off and more tokens are now staking so we can still have staking with MOIN, it will just be a token instead. We are seeing a lot of DEXs now which is good as we can get MOIN on all of them like UniSwap, Sushi and now the new DEX 1Inch and if anyone is worried about high gas fees there are ways around this with using a Bridge to BinanceSmartChain or if we can get onto Loopring DEX so there are many options when it comes to exchanges if MOIN switches over to tokens.

I like what the team are doing with this new feature with FUN tokens however I think I'll be giving it a miss as you can get good rates on your BTC elsewhere without spending so much on buying FUN tokens. Yes the 25% rate is most likely the highest in crypto right now but it will cost a lot of money to buy up all them FUN tokens.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★ Unnamed.exchange - Unnamed Exchange [Official Thread] ★ on: January 30, 2021, 11:23:34 PM
This exchange was started by same scammers who scammed people with a project called CryptoJack few years ago. I've tried to warned everyone before but no one listened me. It was very obvious for me that they'll eventually end up scamming people.
I won't be surprised if their staff would just never come back and never respond anyone. and withdraws never reopen again.

Its always funny when users with uhm.. interesting trust ratings screams scam  Wink

I dont think Till was part of CryptoJacks, me neither other than i can remember i traded some at yobit a long time ago.
And honestly, i dont know enough about it to be able to say if it was a scam or not.
Anyways. nobody from CryptoJacks is running Unnamed Exchange.
Get your story right and try again

my WD's have been processed.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay

Its nice to see someone from the Unnamed team come here as it wasn't looking good. I suggest that the team communicate better with the community because when its silent its not a good look especially when we see tweets on twitter but no one from the team answering people's concerns as update tweets just don't cut it in my opinion when the team are silent in discord and on here. Apart from this I think Unnamed is a good exchange and I'll continue to use it.

As most of us expected the price is now tanking. The question is will we ever see this happen again in the future or maybe even next week as there is still some chatter going around social media that its not over. What do you all think? will we see another pump like the one we just saw or it will never happen again? I know one thing and that is I got it completely wrong as I never thought doge could break 100 sats again. Still doge never broke its ATH when priced in sats and I think that this will never happen because there is just too much supply out there however I could be wrong like I was with doge not breaking 100 sats.

I've seen some chatter about this also but more so for Bitcoin. However if we see Bitcoin go up on this date then doge could also pump along with other cryptocurrencies. I still hold a small bag of doge for the future and if it is on February 4th and the price goes higher then this previous pump, I think I'll off load it all.

Hello guys. I want to register and start betting. I have few questions before. Do they let you withdraw without problems? What are maxbets per match? Do they limit your maxbet if you are succesfull?
Thank you for your response! Smiley

Not quite sure about other things but I think some people have trouble withdrawing on their website it took some time before they let the player withdraw, I'm not quite sure how much is it by the way.

Yes that is some what true however that was over a month ago now. The withdrawal time is now within 24 hours which I read in their Discord server. To find out the max bet limit etc... check out their FAQs. The maximum bet varies depending on the type of event and selection you’re betting.

It seems that good news for AO has finally come   Cheesy
''Australian Open tennis players begin to exit hotel quarantine'' https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-55851073
''Australian Open to allow up to 30,000 fans to attend per day'' https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/55866539

It seems that the situation is returning to normal and that the tournament will still be held as planned, which is great news for all tennis fans.
I still can't believe that the fans will be allowed to enter as well  Cheesy
This is a really nice surprise and restores hope for a better tomorrow and the return of fans to other sports as well.

Yes its looking great right now so lets hope this continues because a positive test could changed everything very quickly so lets hope no one tests positive during the tournament. Its good that they are allowing some fans in to watch the games as sport just isn't the same without the fans. Not long to wait now, just a little over a week, I can't wait as the AO is my favourite grand slam.

The players are now allowed out of quarantine so they have just over 1 week to practice and get ready for the AO. I like the idea of the exhibition matches in Adelaide as it will help get the players some match practice ahead of the AO. Now we just hope that no player or officials test positive to the virus because it could impact the AO start date.

Crazy stuff going on with gamestop recently and now doge. Reminds me of 2017. Gotta get moin up on an exchange soon  Grin

Yeah it is crazy right now and last time we saw these crazy pumps in crypto, MOIN also received a slice of the pie when it pumped to $1. I think MOIN also needs an exchange very soon as Altseason I think is here and MOIN has huge potential as I think staking is also getting a lot of attention now so MOIN can also receive some of this exposure.

Forget Unnamed exchange as they seem to be having problems right now so this exchange is out of the question.

Doge still needs to break that 100 sats barrier which has put a stop to the previous pumps we have seen in the past. Yes Doge hit an ATH when it comes to USD but is still a long way off its ATH in sats. What do you all think can we see Doge break the 100 sats wall which has stopped it the last two times?

I like that the team is now going to do a monthly recap post which gives us more details on what the team and project has been up to during each month. It looks as though Solaris will lose out on the voting to get listed on StakeCube this month however I am confident that Solaris will win and be listed on StakeCube next month. We all gave it our best shot but it just wasn't enough, no point spending more SCC on this months voting and keeping the credits for next month if another project starts to get close to Solaris.
