2201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Haney vs Gamboa WBC World Lightweight Title on: November 08, 2020, 04:24:14 AM
This was kind of a disappointing performance by Haney. He had a perfect opponent to look spectacular against and it turned out to be a snoozefest. I do not see him beating a Teofimo Lopez or Lomachenko. He might not even get a chance to fight those guys since he is not marketable and hasn't looked impressive enough for those fighters to consider him an interesting opponent.
2202  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 07, 2020, 08:43:02 PM
I've seen that the 35% commission on LTC investment was extended up to Dec. 31 can anyone give me an idea is it too late now to invest to the ltc bankroll or I can still maximize it with in less than 2 months?

I opened up a new Litecoin bankroll investment yesterday and my ROI went up 2.5% overnight. You never know when you will have these big movements. For the past few weeks Litecoin investments had only seen minimal profits and then we had this sudden jump where the site saw a 200 LTC profit.
2203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 07, 2020, 02:20:03 AM
I can only imagine how this guy is feeling. It has been a roller coaster ride with the balance steadily shifting away from Trump and then it seemed like he could pull it off in a few states only to have it continue to slip away every time they release new data.

If he has millions to spend on betting on an election then he must be a very wealthy person so it is likely that he will rocover. I would advise him to invest in bitcoin because with the value rising he will recover his losses sooner.
2204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant Super Middleweight Title on: November 07, 2020, 01:00:15 AM
It is not a cherry pick because there is not a lot of opponents out there for Alvarez to choose from and could be competitive against him. A lot of people would've preferred Charlo but he is from a smaller weight class and his style is not as polished as Plant. Slick, technical fighters like Plant have been the one's who have given Canelo the most problems.

Canelo isn't someone who wins fights decisively on the scorecards. Kovalev was doing well against him, Jacobs won about four rounds, the Lara, Trout and GGG fights all could have gone the other way. It will not be an easy fight for Canelo and when you have so many close fights you would think there is only so many times the judges can give you the benefit of the doubt.
2205  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bplay binance casino? on: November 06, 2020, 10:35:38 PM
If you can log in with your Binance account then it must be legit. I don't think they would just allow anybody to integrate this feature into their service.

It is really surprising that they would partner with a casino since a lot of the major exchanges frown upon gambling activity. I have seen several cases where Coinbase banned people for depositing from a casino.
2206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: November 06, 2020, 05:13:03 PM
The race is over for Trump. He underperformed in the latest batch of votes in Arizona. Biden will increase his lead in Pennsylvania. Biden is ahead in Georgia by 1585. In Nevada he doubled his lead over Trump.

Anyone here know where to check total votes from US Army? I would like to know vote by mails from US army. Trump is anti-war in his presidency so if the number of vote by mails from US Army is big enough, he can make a flip at 90 minute of the election. This very spinning ending will happen if Biden won't be able to leave Trump behind far enough, Trump still can hope from US Army votes.

I think the total uncounted votes from US Army are not big but if anyone can give source link to check, it will be interesting.

They've already counted most military ballots. Today is the deadline for outstanding ballots to arrive in Georgia and still be counted. There could potentially be enough votes that arrive today for Trump to win the state but it probably won't matter. He's too far behind in other states.

Nevada will be the critical state here and i think, whoever will win in Nevada would become the President.

Does Trump still has a chance here?

Biden increased his lead there today and most of the remaining votes are in a Democratic county and they're mail-in ballots which tend to be even more favorable to Dems. It's unlikely that Trump can win it but Biden can still afford to lose this state because he still gets to 270 if gets Pennsylvania where he is on pace to win by a few thousand votes.

Trump needs to slightly improve his winning margins in what remains in Arizona. Right now it appears that Biden will take a tiny lead in Georgia but there are still provisional and military ballots out there that could be the deciding factor.
2208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Haney vs Gamboa WBC World Lightweight Title on: November 06, 2020, 03:56:27 AM
Haney seems like a promising fighter but he is lagging behind the rest of the division. He is fighting the weakest competition right now and nobody takes him seriously as a world champion because he did not win his title in the ring. First he won an interim title and then he was elevated to regular champion, then he got injured and lost his title but then he was reinstated. We know that Teofimo Lopez is the real champion of this weight class and all these secondary titles are unnecessary. Hopefully they all fight each other and we get to see who is the best out of Lopez, Haney, Garcia or Davis.
This is just another step up on the competition, how can you say that he is fighting weakest competition when Davis fought Gamboa as well. He maybe one step behind, but for sure, just like what Davis this, after winning a fight against Gamboa, he level up, fighting Leo (but I don't know if you could consider it leveling up, as Leo is also a weak champion). Being said that, those young and talented players are just being set up by their managers to fight a cherry pick fighter, to look good. But we have to wait till everyone of them fight each other, boxing politics, and of course the money in the table could be a big factor.

Gamboa is a gatekeeper coming off a loss. It wouldn't be such a big deal if Haney already had some decent names on his record and took this as a stay busy fight, but his last fight, which was over a year ago, was already a stay busy fight. Davis might not have the greatest record but he has now fought Pedraza and Santa Cruz, who are both mult-weight champions.

People who make such a large amount of money in a short period of time often do not know how to handle their wealth and end up squandering it. It is not an uncommon situation. There is even a TV show called 'How The Lottery Ruined My Life'.

The Jack Whitaker story is really fascinating. He ruined so many people's lives. There have been quite a few TV documentaries on him.
2210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 05, 2020, 04:45:10 PM
This is really tragic. Unfortunately people who are very poor will sometimes resort to extreme measures to try and make some money. When things don't turn out as planned it can be so devastating that they decide to end their life. Maybe if gambling wasn't seen as such an evil thing and we spent more time educating people on the risks we could avoid these types of situations.

Fury has settled on a new opponent - Agit Kabayel. Kabayel has only fought at the European level so he should be a massive underdog. Unlike Fury's recent opponents, Kabayel is not very tall and will have a 6 inch disadvantage in height. Fury should dominate this fight and I do not see him having any problems like he did with Otto Wallin.

And what is the minimum amount of satosh to withdraw? If there are 30,000 satoshis, and the commission is 16,000, then only 14,000 satoshis will come to the wallet? Right?

30,000 minimum.

Yes, you will receive 14,000 after the commission.

For now, instant withdraws are commanding 39,243 in fees so it's better to opt for the delayed withdrawal (<10,000) which takes between 6 - 24 hours.

30,000 is the minimum to withdraw and the commission is taken on top of this amount. So if 30,000 is withdrawn and the fee is 14,000 then you will lose 44,000 sats from your balance. If the fee was taken from the 30k then you would end up with a negative withdrawal amount if the fee was above 30k and that wouldn't make any sense.

Wow I didn't expect the results to be this close. It looks like Biden is going to win which means Kamala's chances of winning the next election is now way higher than what it was before. At least she'll be a candidate that's for sure.

On the other hand, I expect there to be a serious shit show in the upcoming days because I am pretty sure some shady shit happened during the vote count.

Twitter is also censoring Trump's tweets which is a pretty scummy behaviour. Do Jack Dorsey want to get shot or get jailed this badly? I mean is his life worth this shit show? Censoring the president of the United States? C'mon you fucking retard.

Joe Biden could run for re-election. He'll be like a hundred years old but I don't remember the last time an incumbent didn't run for a second term.

Talking about shooting Jack Dorsey is crazy and unhinged. I don't think Trump supporters are that crazy. They might plot to kidnap a governor but the CEO of a private company seems unlikely. If Trumps tweets weren't so detached from reality this wouldn't be a problem.
2215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: November 04, 2020, 09:44:35 PM
This crazy election situation may continue for a long time as we are all waiting for votes counting.
Whatever final result is my first impression is that all the polls showed very different image before elections, and in reality we have very much divided United States and I wouldn't be surprised if final decision will have to be in court.
It is interesting that betting is still possible.

The polls were off again but I don't think it has anything to do with shy Trump voters as some people were speculating. The biggest factor seems to be voter turnout which was at a historic level. That's something that can drastically change the outcome that we expected because it means there was a lot of people that were not being included in polls, which are mostly based on historic voting patterns.
2216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the top 10 btc wallets hacked? on: November 04, 2020, 07:31:47 AM
It's possible that the person who owns the wallet is moving the funds to protect himself from the hackers. They have not tried to mix the Bitcoin which would be a clear sign that a hacker was behind the transfer. We will have to wait and see where the BTC moves from here to have a better idea of what the reason was for moving such a large amount of coins.
2217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any idea when the Bitcoin Mempool will stop being so congested? on: November 04, 2020, 06:06:36 AM
Things are decent right now. Many people have withdrawn their Bitcoin from BitMex which was one of the main exchanges responsible for mempool backlogs. The mempool usually clears over the weekend and I'm able to make transactions for between 1 and 5 sats per byte.
2218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Turnoff Happen to Bitcoin on: November 04, 2020, 05:18:34 AM
When PayPal fully integrates bitcoin then we will probably have a lot of volatility in the short term. This might be more off-putting to new investors. A lot of people will not expect to see their portfolio losing 10% of it's value over a short period of time and will want to dump. The congestion problems might not be so severe since BTC on PayPal will be custodial.
2219  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 03, 2020, 11:06:04 PM
Good day to you all,

Can anyone tell me if Yolodice has a licence to operate an online casino?
Assuming for the moment that it has a valid license, can someone please supply me with the following information:

  • In which legal jurisdiction was the license issued?

In which legal jurisdiction is the company registered?

Registered contact details for any or all of the Directors of Yolodice.

Thank you, for your assistance.

I don't see how it makes any difference. Legally licensed casinos scam all the time. Sometimes they use KYC as an excuse to scam you or sometimes they just mismanage their funds. It is more important to know what kind of reputation a casino has. Yolodice has been around many years and I have never heard an accusation against them which is something that is very rare even for the most popular casinos.
2220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: November 03, 2020, 10:35:26 PM

Well.. that's what they did in 2016. They nominated a candidate, who is not electable. If they had anyone else as the Democrat nominee, then I doubt whether Donald Trump would have won states such as Michigan and Wisconsin. This time, they picked a moderate in Joe Biden. But still, Kamala Harris as the VP pick was a mistake in my opinion. She is too far to the left. They could have chosen someone who is younger and charismatic.

I don't think Kamala has played too much of a factor in this election. She is a lot like Hillary in that she will take the position that is most politically convenient. When she was attorney general of California she was a strict law and order candidate but then she became senator and moved to the left. She does seem more popular than Pence though, who is as bland as you can get.
