2201  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to deposit GBP to get BTC by Sunday? on: July 28, 2012, 04:14:57 PM
FYI, I just bought some coins on MtGox - I sent the transfer Wednesday evening and it showed early this morning.

Annoyingly, they asked for account verification when I tried to withdraw the BTC. I've uploaded the documents, now it's just a waiting game.

It was large BTC quantity? If you don't mind answering

Necesitamos vuestra ayuda.

Quote
Criptografía de clave pública (asimétrica):
- historia
- estandarte e implementación
- aplicaciones

Bitcoin:
- protocolo p2p
- criptografía empleada
- seguridad y minería
- moneda, valor económico
- proyectos anteriores
- mitos sobre la tecnología
- movimiento social, adopción
- aplicaciones practicas, proyectos

"Decentralized Electronic Cash" sounds awful. Decentralized Digital Currency" sounds fine.

In Spain "p2p digital cash" sounds better, when they hear the other they say: "decentral.... what?"

Have to remind you guys, bitcoin is not a currency  Roll Eyes Btw, great designs until now

Pardon my genuine ignorance...why is Bitcoin not currency?

Take a look at this thread and wiki page

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2966.0

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Ideal_Properties_of_Digital_Commodities

We could call bitcoin a currency the day it is universally accepted I think

I really am astonished how you guys can post memes and jokes in the same threads about people that have robbed thousands of bitcoins.

If you guys really want to solve the problems, at least do it formally and seriously.
