2222  Economy / Gambling / Re: Got $174 NGN stuck in BC.game - any tips or suggestions how to withdraw it? on: November 14, 2022, 08:36:33 AM
The thing is the site allows to withdraw it only via a local Nigerian bank account - which is something none of us have  Cheesy
Really? My first time to see a website who accepts international affiliate people yet only accept a specific payment option, worst it's a local bank account for the affiliate to withdraw. This seems like a must avoid affiliate platform. Thanks for sharing this information too.

Sorry to asked, have you found any help so far.. if no then I can help out any escrow is acceptable otherwise I suggest as earlier mention to contact brainboss.
The transaction made already with the help of CryptopreneurBrainboss, see quoted message below.

Crypto received from CryptopreneurBrainboss with thanks by the way!

2224  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX has been hacked, delete the app, don't go to website on: November 13, 2022, 03:35:24 PM
Many people lose money in LUNA and now many people lost money again in FTX (particularly investing into FTT token).
Tokens are toxic, poison even.
I'll say tokens are double edge sword, some may experience profit when it still pumping, but most experience its sharpness when it is in the process of dumping most of the time.
2225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Taught a Pastor Friend on Bitcoin. on: November 13, 2022, 02:52:17 PM
Tomorrow in the Sunday prayer he'll talk about it as like he knows everything about bitcoin (nothing offensive).
He will talk about it as if he knows everything about bitcoin and he will also say the spiritual aspect of it which might not exist.
Assuming things especially about the worst or anything even though you don't really know the whole story is where FOMO and FUD starts.

As for OP, i hope you don't teach that friend of yours only about investment and prices. Bitcoin has much more interesting things to teach not just it's current and future value.
2226  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk posting etiquette on: November 13, 2022, 12:01:32 PM
To be honest regardless of how old and knowledgeable a member is the "search before posting" it the case.
Meta board is always the witness of it, reasons are "i forget about this...", "correct me if i'm wrong", "please tell me if someone have posted already about this", etc. Although, it's just okay actually, but yeah, "proper searching" is always the case.

How much more to newbies.
2227  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quit gambling to focus more on my work on: November 13, 2022, 02:03:27 AM
That's how gambling works. Your hard earned money from work, business or whatever the source is, majority of it will go to gambling if you are a gambler lol. Don't expect a dream of making thousands on gambling, autopilot doesn't mean always win, it's a dream of every gambler until they experience worst.

Drake is a millionaire or even billionaire already earned from his work and business. Gambling is just a mere hobby and past time of him. Lossing millions is nothing to him, winning is a bonus.
2228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinion on casinos that don't have ANN threads in the forum? on: November 13, 2022, 01:05:55 AM
Casinos who have ANN threads and with a representative here is is just plus, for a means of another options of contacts and support.
Many gamblers here considers casinos who doesn't have ANN here considers them as unknown, no reputation at all, as if bitcointalk is the foundation of all crypto casino which is really funny. I read it like in every thread who have an issue on such casino posting here.

Having an ANN here does not categorize casinos as reputable, known, huge userbase, and etc. Having an ANN here is just good way to express the community how the casinos can be flexible on their support which means they also accepts criticisms and hear the community whatever talks and suggestions the community may contribute.

2229  Other / Meta / Re: Not Your Keys Not your Coins Banner Needed Everywhere? on: November 12, 2022, 04:57:52 PM
Some time ago there was a free campaign with personal text+avatar that just promoted that idea, and some members, including myself, gladly accepted that idea in the hope ...
I bet this is cryptosec.info or the notyourkeys.org campaign.

I don't know if it's only me, but i guess most people who uses exchanges knows this line very well, i mean the meaning behind it, but what? They still do it, taking risks trading, storing funds on exchanges as if it's their personal wallets. Mostly because they think it like banks where most knows banks is for storing money, where they don't want responsibilities to their money of securing whatever you warned them because of technicalities so exchanges will do the job for them, assuming that they will be refunded when a hack happens.

Actually, i have friends who do like this^, simply avoiding responsibilities.
2230  Other / Archival / Re: I won 85,000 USDt at Owl.games casino (problems) on: November 12, 2022, 04:19:05 PM
No point to WD his money little by little, WD should be instantly . If you won $80k, would you like to WD $100 for 800 times? Obviously not
No one in the right mind will do same thing like that, but anyone can withdraw 10k for 8 times instead. I found this trick as convenient to others, than withdrawing their winnings at once then got a suspended account, asked KYC and etc. worst it got pending for several days or weeks.

Now, regarding the suspicious behaviour mentioned by owl.games to OP it would be glad if there's a detailed supporting details soon than just pure assumptions.
While 97% winning rate is pretty high, accusations should be back with facts and data, or this will soon be a common thing as an excuse from game providers or casinos when a gambler made such huge win.
2231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof of Reserves by the Gambling sites on: November 12, 2022, 03:58:57 PM
In the recent FTX crisis, CZ and others are emphasizing that exchanges should show the proof of reserves by the exchanges. People will only deposit and trade on exchanges who can show the proof of reserves.
I found kucoin doing this as i just received an email from them regarding this.

About the casino doing the same seems unreasonable to me. One of the reasons why exchanges doing this is because of community fears of another exchange shutting down of being liquidated due to this long bear season.

While most casinos are USD based not crypto (only accepts crypto deposits/withdraws), so whatever happens to the market they will be still there. Those casinos who stop operating have their reasons, mostly of low demand or high competition that drags them below.
2232  Other / Archival / Re: I won 85,000 USDt at Owl.games casino (problems) on: November 12, 2022, 04:06:56 AM
Welp, i really thought owl.games don't ask KYC, well, since they are licensed this is pretty normal if they changed their policy, ot maybe for someone who obly deposit and withdraw large amount.

Few questions, your account was suspended after what? After you win? After you withdraw? Or what.
I guess you should give them at least 5 days before the review of your KYC.

Some tips when winning large amount. Withdraw it little by little so their system wont trigger when doing large amounts.
2233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin transfer within my own wallets on: November 10, 2022, 11:56:52 AM
1. My understanding is that you can have 2 bitcoin wallets within the same ledger.  correct?
Yes, if the wallet using HD wallets[1]. And if the wallet software has multi account feature.

2. if so, assume that bitcoin is $100.  You transfer 1 BTC from wallet A to wallet B within the same ledger.  is there a transfer fee?  if so, roughly how much?
Yes, bitcoin transaction require a fee, unless it's an exchange and it is called internal transfer.
Regarding the fee, it depends on the network (considering you just bought the $100 from an exchange with a single input) higher fee if congested network, smaller fee if the opposite.

But first, transfering coin from the same wallet is not reasonable it is a waste of fee, you will also see a warning doing that.

3.  still assume bitcoin is $100.  You convert this to tether.  a month later, you can convert this back to BTC.  assume BTC stayed at $100 the whole time.  Roughly, how much fee will I be hit with?
Base on the number 2 answer, it will not be $100 anymore. Regarding the conversion, it still a fee so depends on the conversion fee. Now regarding the fees, it still depends on what platform you use to convert. Fees are dynamic, so no one can tell if how much is it on the time of transaction and conversion.

2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 09, 2022, 11:19:11 PM

I still will not trust playing on this casino that is out of the community's radar, it's not even on the radar of casino review sites and $128 k is such a huge amount for a small casino to pay for their player, lets see if there is an update of the release of the funds, if this is true there are still players who opted to play on small unpopular casinos disregarding the risk of withdrawal issues if it involves a huge amount like this, gambling is riskier but even more riskier if you choose the wrong casino to play.
But that still does not mean they are scam, the site already paid several withdrawals of OP. Besides any casino that receive such withdrawal amount will probably check thoroughly is the user if doing suspicious, because of the huge amount winnings and probably almost wins on every games OP played based on his screenshots.

I guess it is always a mistake to withdraw a large sum of money at once in any casino. If OP can withdraw $26k without issue, i guess withdrawing multiple times of that $128k will be the solution to avoid such case. Say OP will just withdraw $30k, he will do it 4-5 times, and it doesnt matter, the fees is just $1, based on the withdrawal page on the shared screenshot.
2235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pls guide me to the right tool for this on: November 09, 2022, 10:43:28 PM
I guess you should mentioned what coin you are trying to send multiple transaction at once. Because every blockchain based token has its own tool.

Here you can check this tools. Disperse were mentioned already above. Multisender is a tool for ethereum based tokens while bulksender have it different network support such as binance, ethereum, tron, matic, AVAX and solana network.

Code:
https://disperse.app/
https://bulksender.app/
https://multisend.org/

Now if you're talking about bitcoin, then electrum is the best choice as already mentioned many times above.

Another note, this multi sender is probably uses large gas fees, because they are designed to send at least 20 transactions above or so. So expect that fees they required is high.
Disperse.app is somewhat the cheapest fees required on the list above.
2236  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Bintexmo legit or a scam? on: November 09, 2022, 10:29:48 PM
I got a text message from an unknown number with the URL us-psmmo.us and instructions to click the link to register claiming I own 3 bitcoins.
The scam will be avoided by just researching about the site's info, and glad you ask here first because its probably scam. The most alarming here is them having your mobile number, your personal info might be leaked, or you are probably one of the users from other crypto-related sites that were hacked e.g. Ledger.
I suggest you to install Google Messages, they have this smart filtering of spam messages for you to avoid clicking suspicious links and also avoid getting hacked.
2237  Other / Meta / Re: Could This Help To Reduce Spam? on: November 08, 2022, 11:22:39 PM
Than you would only have people creating many more duplicate topics with less pages, so there would be five or more topics about Premier League, three or four for Champions League or World Cup.
Instead of having one Mega thread you would have more Mini threads with the same or very similar content, so nothing would be solved.
That won't happen though, mods will delete duplicate threads as it is against the rules.

I actually made a suggestion on one of those threads, e.g. the NBA thread. Since it is discussed per season, lock it after the end season then create a new one for the new season. But the regular posters don't agree on it.
2238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEW🔮ZKasino.io | Fully decentralized casino | $10.000 🎁away | 0.6% | NO KYC on: November 08, 2022, 02:25:53 PM
He wants this thread here in the Bitcoin gambling section because it will get more attention from gamblers and posters, if the thread is in the altcoin announcement, only investors will post and bump that thread, but if the thread was moved to the altcoin service announcement by the moderators because it deserves to be there and you never mess with the mods, you might end up both of your thread lock and your account restricted.
That's all what i'm pointing out. Now regarding the thread, the site or this thread isn't mentioning of bitcoin as one of its options for deposit or withdrawals so moving to service announcement (altcoins) is the proper board not unless OP wants to add bitcoin option on its platform.
2239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $128,000 and it's been a week waiting for game provider verification on: November 08, 2022, 02:03:48 PM
Provide some evidence of your bets, your winnings, and delaying your withdrawals so that no one thinks you are making up hoax.
What's the point you ask the evidence? I mean, can you help him if he already give full evidence?
This make him(OP) saying the truth for his experience and make people believe in him for the complaint or accusation he made. Would you believe if someone just told a casino is a scam or have an issue same with OP without giving proofs regardless if casino is reputed or not? I bet not.

And this kind of deed isn't just about directly helping someone's problem but give him recommendations on what he can do next or so if the proofs are likely true.

You are doing against the forum rules for duplicate posting, your other previous thread[1] was posted on this board but then moved by mods on altcoin service announcement. So i suggest to lock the other thread and keep this open, or the other way around.
