2221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Karpeles wanted a bailout on: March 21, 2014, 03:23:47 PM

Well of course he wanted a bail out. He thought everything revolved around him because of being the first exchanges and being around a long time, plus being on the board of bitcoin foundation.

But yeah, I see your point. All the mined coins or good amount being held by one person.
2222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing Multiple Coins on: March 21, 2014, 06:09:02 AM
which paper wallet is that? As a total new newbie to the whole coin game, I was hoping to find a way to store multiple coins together in like a paper wallet or something. Just for ease. And not something that I have to download a bunch of stuff (all I have is a laptop with limited space). Is that even possible?

There are none at the moment for ALT coins.

The person meant, when you sell your ALT coins on the exchange. Then storing those bitcoins to a paperwallet, thats pretty much my understanding, unless I`m wrong.

Because I been searching for the same as well for different ALT coins.
2223  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF BLOCKCHAIN.info ! on: March 20, 2014, 03:37:30 PM
The servers may go down once in awhile, and if it is then its the maintenance and then after 24 hrs its usually back up.

But if your referring to this blockchain wallet with backing up the dat fiile, http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/20j76w/just_had_the_most_terrifying_day_and_you_fuckers/

The following games should have at least diablo 3, WoW, etc.

Give me your offers, this is based on www.escrow.com so its safe for both parties.
2225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I get involved in these MtGox lawsuits? on: March 20, 2014, 01:40:45 AM
A class action can take place, which is the only case for this scenario.

But, I`m not sure if anyone has filed already - if so they should link the to do steps to join.
2226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Web site advice for cloud mining on: March 20, 2014, 12:26:55 AM
Its buying the physical hardware performance, but without the electricity overhead and mining pool fee, (depending on the site you go with) varies.

Another you probably missed for mining contracts is pbmining.

There is a lot of negative to this though, since its similar to just handing your money and wondering if the business will live enough to produce the return.

I would buy "xyz" ghs of mining contracts that your willing to lose incase if the worst case scenario does happen.

2227  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: QUICK REPLY NEEDED - Anyone recommend me a safe/Reliable BTC wallet ?? on: March 19, 2014, 04:50:03 AM
I like how no one mentioned about "paper wallets".

Heres just an example of what can happen on blockchain, this isnt to freak you out, but to understand of the pro`s and cons of an online wallet vs offline.

2228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need to Create New COin, .. need help on: March 19, 2014, 04:46:48 AM
You need a programmer that understands PoS. Look into the Alt section, but I dont want to encourage something, when there is already 1,000 of ALT coins already.

2229  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The automatic bitcoin faucet...but how do they fund it? on: March 18, 2014, 08:31:14 PM
I`m aware the person above me mentioned advertisers as one source to fund.

But, it can be the same owner whos had a established faucet testing the waters of creating another one.

They want to expand what they already know, and executed on. Similar to a process on how corporate works to expand brands, and the one universal umbrella would be P&G - eg: tide
2230  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGox Reopens.... on: March 18, 2014, 06:59:46 PM
If you have money locked-up in MtGox, why would you not support a rehabilitation under new management?

The death of MtGox does nobody any good, but their slow recovery would eventually allow the people involved to recover their money.

Yes, it may take a long time to obtain financial stability once again, but that is our only hope.  I will continue to support this company, if they can establish financial trust and respectability once again.

I agree w. some sympathy on the Mt.Gox customers, but the 1st hit when the US governement swooped up a good sum and then losing dwolla. That said everything when you lose a merchant that huge.

Especially what actions were takens place to re-bound that relationship, since it acts similar to as a casino.

Financial stability is when bitcoins are produced and found, as for services Mt.Gox will just be a example for existing exchanges to improve what they are offering and check up not ending up being the next Mt.Gox.

The votes also speaks for itself. The community wants to see transparency as we deserve.

2231  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Gox let me see my account. on: March 18, 2014, 03:18:55 PM
Most already know Mt.Gox filed bankruptcy. They even started selling their customers data, and having not to be released would be a btc fee of some sort.

If I can find the page again, I`ll link it here.

They got hit pretty hard over the years, so it shouldnt be a surprise after they lost their merchants like dwolla back in the day.

1st time they got hit was when the US government just swooped in and took chunk of btcs.

Ever since then, I dont feel like they been representing #`s correctly, simply to make back those btc loss.

This guys mentions http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/20ba6r/psa_bitcoin_naked_shorts most people should be aware the traits of it on all "so called exchanges".
2232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ****** CampBX Contact/Ownership Info, Etc For Those Being Ignored ****** on: March 18, 2014, 04:47:24 AM
I would suggest start to consider filing a small claims, at their state of location.

Or try just going there in person at their office location for the refund. Something I would consider before being hostile for small claims court. Most of the people I know who had the ACH problems did this, since they live locally.

Find a cheap airline, or have a attorney represent for you.
2233  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Desperately seeking bitcoins on: March 18, 2014, 04:12:48 AM
You might earn 15 btc, but thats personally understanding all the methods available.

Notice I didnt mention about the time frame, because that all depends on the individual.

The time spent, on learning how to do day trading can be one option. But when your talking about debt, day trading isnt really a viable option because its a gamble.

You might want to pick up some freelance work, besides your current job. Elance, freelancer, etc.

2234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGOX Ponzi? on: March 17, 2014, 07:02:39 AM
Mt Gox, had phantom deposits for at least a year manipulating the price $100 higher.

Also its not a suprise to most people on this forum, that Mt.Gox was failing unless people werent really reading on updates with peoples concerns.

They even had to sell personal data to off-set the company a bit. And thats barely helping them out.
2235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what do you call the money you plan to use for day-trading? on: March 16, 2014, 08:32:06 PM
Just want to re-cap on all these response, and one thing is common that you should really consider.

All the exchange wallets provided are not a safe place to keep your bitcoins.

So far till this present date, there is no exchange that has a good reputation esp when the last hit of "transaction malleability".

Perfect example, that most are aware of and some are still not: https://bitcoinfoundation.org/blog/?p=422

Prevention is better then a cure.

I can be your broker, or middleman. Zoomhash is only 20 mins where I live.

Located in LA area, as they are in beverly hills.

I accept going through www.escrow.com, let me know. I`d to restrict on # of orders, until I feel like I`m more comfortable taking more.
2237  Economy / Services / Re: Fully working site - finding the next level on: March 14, 2014, 04:16:10 PM
What should we focus on next? I need more options!

I would start making plans on-site seo and off-site seo. (This is a lot harder then it looks - for off site)

I`d look into the detail if the site is attached with a blog, which ranks fastest with google.

Reason why most flash sites fails, is because googles crawlers cant read flash sites etc.

Then figure out whats the business model? How does the site bring in money? eg: Ad revenue, slapping google ads on there? etc

2238  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wired Escrow service help ($20 for best answer via BTC) on: March 14, 2014, 12:54:11 AM
I'm not familiar with the term "wired escrow".  How is "wired" escrow different from other forms of escrow?
most ppl here using escrow via BTC? I need to pay $300k to the factory in face.
If BTC price go down who will pay the lost money? am i right?

I'm looking for escrow service here/web, if they available to exchange BTC to USD.
If can't, I wont put my own money on risk.

I need real money escrow not Bitcoin.

Hmm.. I'm not sure that one exists that will also exchange BTC to cash. With all the chaos with MtGox, I wouldn't rely on any exchange to touch that amount of money.
Yea that's the problem.
http://www.armorpayments.com/?gclid=CPO70LDn27wCFUxp7Aodc2QABg

also you could find someone on here that would probally be glad to help if they were worked out an escrow fee. for whatever you need
I can't find contact or location from this website. They only cover for $125k transaction.
I'm kinda need the legit one.

Outside from that escrow site check the one I provided, because this escrow site has been doing business with bigger corporations.

I was buying BFL 60ghzs, x2 each at a time. And I had a inspection period set before I released which I did.

But you may want to call in for the covered transaction, cause I know every escrow company have limitations.

Here you go www.escrow.com

The only problem: they dont do via BTC, and anyone on that scale its non existent at the moment. Besides John K, which you mentioned earlier.
2239  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow list: Whitelist Ranking & Blacklist - Must view before sending your coins on: March 14, 2014, 12:34:49 AM
List updated (and scores upgraded)!

UPDATE #2 of year 2014.

Keep up the good work everybody!

つづく

Thanks for updating this still. It helps people like myself who are debating who to go with, since theres just so many escrow service providers that claim to do escrow.

2240  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [RUSH] selling Freebitco.in accounts with 37 active referral! on: March 13, 2014, 09:44:39 PM
Hmm how you work out the price? For anyone me make back that 1btc would take them 666 days! And also if you still have your dedicated active users for that period  Huh

This points out everything, why people probably going to hold back. How do we know if the referrals will stay active? We don`t.. unless your willing accept payments in increments, I dont see this working out to well for the buyer.
