1401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Prediction 2015 ฿ on: May 28, 2015, 06:33:35 AM
Dreamers $1000  Cheesy I have voted $200-$300 steady all year until even after the halving but I do hope the dreamers are right and the pessimists are wrong lol

Dreamers yes, but it never hurts to dream right? lol.

As long ones head in reality and have more sense its just a dream they should be seeing the price realistic points based on market caps.
1402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will stabilize at the same price that it was at 2 years ago.. $150-$200 on: May 28, 2015, 06:31:33 AM
I see more of the same information, and I feel its the right direction.

The $100-160ish range should be on the spot, since the whole 2 years were around the same price.
1403  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: JOSHUA ZIPKINS THE MAN WHO DDOS'd BTCTALK!!!! on: May 28, 2015, 06:27:04 AM
so this is the recent reason why btctalk was down?

I really doubt it.. how do you know this person really this like wheres the proof? I read some of it, then just stopped.
1404  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Bitcoins with Venmo [$295 max.] on: May 28, 2015, 06:23:06 AM
Despite venmo being awesome, venmo is actually similar to paypal.

So that charge back is really possible, and screwing someone over w. the creditcard linked.
1405  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying Localbitcoins Account | Paying up to $1k on: May 28, 2015, 06:19:13 AM
So whats the price you can give for 50 feedbacks?

Is that only worth $50 or something?
1406  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: May 28, 2015, 06:15:09 AM
this is my take, but I`d put about 90% bonds, 10% crypto, and reuse the amount earned to crypto.

Then do this for the same with gold as well.
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: Advantages of Dollar as the first currency for U.S on: May 28, 2015, 06:08:00 AM
Is this a trick question?

Cause the global reserve currency is in us dollars, its why we have so much foreign aid. There isnt much of a having the us dollar besides being accepted almost everywhere, and yes we do print fiat money.
1408  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Why are there no legitimate HYIPs? on: May 28, 2015, 06:01:51 AM
Ponzis can be in multiple forms, but theres more obvious then others.

I know its a bit off but when you go to school, youre also buying into somewhat of a ponzi since the job is never guaranteed, but has better odds then an actual scam.
1409  Economy / Economics / Re: NYSE declares bitcoin "emerging ASSET CLASS" on: May 28, 2015, 05:57:38 AM
Let says bitcoin does go through with being an assest class and its with commodities and what not.

You think the daytraders will dive in for it? if so thats going to be a huge price effect for us as well.
1410  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: May 28, 2015, 05:53:12 AM
I think we deserve a reward for all this hodling Smiley

Sooon?

Yeah that soon is going to take a longer time.

In order to have a 100x value bitcoin needs to hit 1% of a billion market to be in 10k value.

Categories that fall under like, black market, etc.
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin up, Bitcoin down on: May 27, 2015, 01:50:50 AM
Most of those alt coins are usually an act of a penny stock.

Always pump and dump, and having a sucker to buy in a large amount way overpriced, and hoping like a IPO to go off for that Alt coin.
1412  Economy / Economics / Re: NYSE declares bitcoin "emerging ASSET CLASS" on: May 27, 2015, 01:49:43 AM
I think if anything its the blockchain is what they want more then anything.

Rather then the whole bitcoin scene, like they want to use it for something I feel.
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Devastation on: May 27, 2015, 01:47:36 AM

This has been one of my most interesting reads in awhile. Thank you.

Really?

like really?

"The Secret Space Program

Those living on Mars will demand payment soon! This involves refineries and mining companies.  Virtually no one knows about this aspect of the programme. Those who do know are afraid to speak out.
All countries are involved in very big debts, because real money went off Earth."

I get SpaceX is been doing incredible things, but we are no where near living on mars lol.

apparently secret space program been running for over 50 years now. there is this guy richard dolan who did an in depth investigation on this subject few years back.. also we cant see everything being here in 3D.
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Richard+Dolan+Secret+Space+Program

I ran into this guy's bio not too long ago:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edgar_Mitchell

Shit, Id be lucky to live that long though, if that happens.

Its more like my grand grand kids will see earth from mars. But who knows, maybe I can see it, I`m in my late 20`s.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: Technological unemployment is (almost) here on: May 27, 2015, 01:45:40 AM
Most people are actually on food stamps, and no into this whole tech scene with bitcoin.

I just actually asked not long ago a twitch streamer, and some do and some dont even know about it. But, I can imagine people trading food stamps for bitcoin which would be breaking the system.
1415  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: May 27, 2015, 01:41:55 AM
Price does matter for me.

But, I actually invested more for that blockchain technology that people unvalue so much.
1416  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying Localbitcoins Account | Paying up to $1k on: May 27, 2015, 01:36:56 AM
wait why would you be paying $1k for an account when you can do this on your own?

like make 30 transactions at a minimum?
1417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be around in 5 years? If so, what's its price? on: May 27, 2015, 01:34:48 AM
If nothing nasty happens to bitcoin, like bad fork, hacks, major bans everywhere then yes i think it will be around in 5 years alive and well i have voted yes it will be but that is mainly because i want it to be of course, but no one knows what it has in store for us. Isn't it exciting? The price if still around at that time i woud take a guesstimate at around 5k USD at current USD rates.

I think all of that will happen to bitcoin Smiley

I doubt it, most problems are already aware for the developers to add on something.

Esp, when hit with the whole 1mb issue when it does happen, we`ll have upgraded wallets.
1418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcointalk back up, Bitcoin falling again. Connection? on: May 27, 2015, 01:29:48 AM
Well everytime the forum has gone down for a few days the price does seem to go up for a bit
It's likely a coincidence or maybe sentiment turns positive when everyone is off the main feed.

Thats just cause people temp freak out for no reason.

I dont know, fear always have a dent into price just imo.
1419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!!!!! on: May 27, 2015, 01:20:31 AM
So many #bitcoin startups are sprouting all over the place and it is going more and more mainstream day by day. It will only get better and better over the coming year. I see this coming year as being the tipping point for Bitcoin Prices to surge.

Yeah, but despite the growth, its all about them actually sticking around.

Look at a fine case with BFL, that supposedly was a good company in the 1st year, then now went all bad.
1420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Condolences to the bitcoin die hards on: May 27, 2015, 01:11:42 AM
Why would bitcoin ever die?

Its practically used for all the gambling sites.. look at the # of transactions..
