1441  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: May 21, 2015, 03:02:44 AM
I dont know if this guy "Chamath Palihapitiya " invested most of his funds and accepts bitcoin.

It kinda tells you something, so I pretty probably follow the same advice considering bitcoin being gold 2.0 like he seems to mention.

So for me, I`d play copy cat and invest my retirement account to bitcoin.
1442  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014 Poll: How many bitcoins do you own? on: May 21, 2015, 02:55:29 AM
My balance is more like .4 btc.

Anyone with more then what I have Im pretty jealous. Only cause I know some prob got it when it was in the $100 value range or less.

But, not fretting over it too much cause its low now as well.
1443  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Full Member With Dark Green on: May 21, 2015, 02:52:36 AM
When you mention about rep, how much rep does it have?

+1 indicator, +2, trust # also should be mentioned.

Also, escrow should be with a experience account holder like quickseller.
1444  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: May 21, 2015, 02:46:37 AM
do your own research and observe, dont believe some the economist predictions.

Use your own history as reference, and your own judgement on what they dont see. Cause most of their content is usually just PR related and thats about it.
1445  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar collapse in 2015? (2) on: May 21, 2015, 02:43:56 AM
Yeah, I def see China and USA still needing each other despite what the person above me posted.

I`m sure its going to take more time, and I noticed that article posted is 2013.

2 years later, it seems we still do business with china lol. Zerohedge is a good site though.
1446  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: May 21, 2015, 02:38:10 AM
Bitcoin is alive. WE STILL USING IT. And bitcoin help us financially and mentally. And also we all learned by this forum and earn a money.

Yeah for now.

But no one can predict its core problems when all the bitcoins are found, and we`d have to figure how much transaction fee is justified.

I dont know about mentally, but financially yes it helps us all. As for earning money, its more of take on control of your money then make it.

1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does it take for Bitcoin to go 100X? on: May 21, 2015, 02:29:05 AM
I would understand the whole great depression comparison, but it cant be compared exactly since its being printed w. whatever amount printed nesscesary.

Instead bitcoin is a limited volume amount, so its not quite similar but the overall concept idea almost similar.

This goes based on how 1915s dollar value to till today how much it would be worth.
1449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammed for $10 LOL on: May 21, 2015, 02:25:55 AM
Well see this as a cheap lesson, from what I can see there isnt much after that person did this to you.

Just be lucky and appreciate that it isnt like $40 or $100 and you`d be more in of a hurt to recover bad losses right.  Smiley
1450  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: May 21, 2015, 02:20:40 AM

I think it's the other way round. Most Heroes seem to have very good posts, it's senior and lower that have poor posts. Heroes take a long time to achieve and even at 1 bitcoin you can still easily make your money back after two months maybe less if you're a prolific poster. I think the quality of posts should be taken into consideration when valuing an account, especially when accounts with shitposts may have previous bans or be denied by signature campaigns.

There are a few heroes who post utter drivel. I assume that's because the account has been sold or they blew their chance at being an early adopter and have gone batshit insane.

LOL. I don't doubt some have gone a little nuts. There are a few that seem to troll now and slag off bitcoin so maybe they're butthurt that they missed out or lost money, but I think a lot of hero accounts will be bought/sold ones.

Its a bit ridiculous, but I guess the value comes with time involvment.

Obviously you wouldnt want to wait for 4-5 months right? so thats the only reason why I`d buy one, but the prices have been extreme despite not having much campaigns open.

Certain ones that been awhile like primedice close off for only legendary members..
1451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help to buy bitcoin on: May 20, 2015, 03:17:11 AM
If you really need bitcoin, you should really try looking to the currency exchange thread.

Also it varies on trust or the conditions of that trade, but you should still be able to buy bitcoin despite not having rep with a escrow process or having a account as collateral if you use some traditional forms of payment to clear.
1452  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: If you are part of the latest HASHRA SCAM please reply here... on: May 20, 2015, 03:14:07 AM
I dont see some type of progress compared to when the op opened this thread.

you should just stop and reconsider other alt coin miners outside from hashra.

Newly Released Documents Indicate Key Hillary Clinton Claim on Emails Was Not True

Emails published by the New York Times Monday indicate that Hillary Clinton used more than one private email address during her time as secretary of state, contradicting previous claims from the Democratic presidential contender’s office.

Multiple emails show Clinton used account “hrod17@clintonemail.com” while serving in the Obama administration as secretary of state.

Clinton’s attorney, David Kendall, had previously told Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) that that particular address had not “existed during Secretary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State.”

Another statement from Clinton’s office said she only used one address during her time as secretary of state.

“Secretary Clinton used one email account during her tenure at State (with the exception of her first weeks in office while transitioning from an email account she had previously used),” it said. “In March 2013, Gawker published the email address she used while Secretary, and so she had to change the address on her account.”

Clinton served as secretary of state from Jan. 2009 to Feb. 2013. The emails she sent with the “hrod17@clintonemail.com” were sent in 2011 and 2012, according to the documents released by the Times.

A representative for Clinton’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze.

Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus tweeted Monday evening that the news proved Clinton “misled public about the use of only one secret email address.”

Earlier this year, it was reported Clinton may have violated federal rules by exclusively using a personal email address to conduct all official government business while serving as secretary of state.

Shes been in the game for so long, shes just working the system.

Give the ability to have someone in power, they eventually do it for their own personal favors to increase reletionship ties for person benefits.

This email alone is absurd how she handles the libya situation.
1454  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 20, 2015, 02:55:48 AM
I have a friend whos atheist, I wouldnt say he hates people who are in a religion.

But, more of takes it on a scientific approach, telling me how can he believe something when its based on blind faith.
1455  Economy / Economics / Re: What Would a Bitcoin Collapse Look Like? on: May 20, 2015, 02:51:07 AM
Youre talking about a major collapase like hitting zero?

Or you talking about minor one, but still comes back with some sort of support. One of the major ones was the mt.gox with $1k price then hitting it to where it is now today.
1456  Economy / Speculation / Re: You are a bitcoin ponzi victim ! on: May 20, 2015, 02:46:24 AM
Theres no victims as bitcoin as a whole, unless something terrible happens to the network that doesnt allow us to send bitcoin.

You most likely mean the people who offer legit services that end up being a ponzi, like BFL that ended up going to SEC.

But, not sure which horrible event you are referring to, since you mentioned mark, imma assume the mt.gox event. You can only reduce your risk as much as you can by level of input spreading out whatever you do invest.
1457  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Established Digitalpoint account on: May 20, 2015, 02:38:57 AM
It been ages, but wasnt digital points founder in jail for some stuff with ebay.

He had a whole statement, and ever since then their forum suffered. whats the monetary value for your account? increase possible backlinks for keywords in seo?
1458  Economy / Economics / Re: An Honest Introduction to Money on: May 20, 2015, 02:36:26 AM
I would worry more on whos about to be the next world currency reserve, cause theres a slight chance the u.s will fall off and possible china can take it.

Just the fact that their whole growth is 10x larger, and they been playing chess with how they should approach the situation. Cant predict which one will win, but stay on top of whos winning or has the chance to take over the world foreign reserve.
1459  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big crash this week! on: May 20, 2015, 02:27:23 AM
If anything, I`m buying more then ever lol.

Despite the whole downtrend, I wont know the bottom of the price, so I might as well do it this way then wondering what if moment.

You cant predict or time anything so really doing it this way seems viable to me.
1460  Economy / Economics / Re: Just found a person selling about 44,000 Bitcoins in localbitcoins on: May 20, 2015, 02:21:47 AM
This situation is nothing rare. There are some crazy rich people living in Dubai, this is normal for some rich men to have assets of different currencies even Bitcoins.
He is using localbitcoins so he can remain anonymous probably as exchanges need some form of validation and credentials. My guess is that he bought bitcoins  for anticipation of huge price rise but now got tired of waiting for it...

sounds about 90% of us lol.

And he probably did need some form of cash to buy out a company or something. With that amount of money, its either for a large purchase or he just sees his money could be making a huge form of interest based on just playing the waiting game which I think he prob consider doing. Not that he needs it or anything.
