1481  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 splash! on: May 12, 2015, 11:52:36 PM
so I read a bit on what 21 wants to do.

and I read the whole social approach with it, that hulu example is pretty horrible. Pay bitcoin to skip commercial? really? I`m going to give my hard earned, hard to get coin in general based on mining to pay a 1 min commericial, okay thats makes so much sense.

I`d throw my dogecoin before bitcoin.
1482  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens to Bitcoin when free energy is available? on: May 12, 2015, 11:48:08 PM
It would be able to do useful work.

umm, you mean miners to work for you right lol.

But yeah, all this means is no one has to worry about on-going cost so pure profit regardless of value going up or down.
1483  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the price of bitcoin when it has almost reached everyone as fiat? on: May 12, 2015, 11:45:38 PM
In my eyes, at most maybe $4,000 in 2 years if a etf pass.

or something dramatic happens for bitcoin. or coinbase going public.
1484  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: May 12, 2015, 11:36:07 PM
Bitcoin is still the minority's game. It is not recognized by the masses yet! So it has to be attached to fiat money to gain value otherwise it is worthless.

I tend to disagree, value is standing still since most are holding the coin.

IF it drops it only means more people are will to let go of the coin, its a simple supply and demand.
1485  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New localbitcoins phishing mail "support ticket #14322 " on: May 12, 2015, 11:34:32 PM
Just curious op, if you posted this on the localbitcoins thread.

They should announce stuff like this, cause my friend would be easily tricked since hes new to all this bitcoin stuff and I cant hold his hand all the time about bitcoin.

I remember a bigger problem that localbitcoins had besides this small phishing attempt was that love bug.
1486  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: where you get bitcoin every day? on: May 06, 2015, 11:11:15 PM
Most of the coin earned on this forum would be signatures, and occasional wins on the dice site if lucky when to cash out.

I`m in the process of actually earning small coin per day, once I have enough to buy it super cheap and sell off to buy more coin with the profit. Thats usually how trading works, unless someone knows a better way to do it , be my guest.

1487  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 26 S1 10 Dragon and 10 Asicminer Tubes on: May 06, 2015, 11:07:54 PM
Location in the US?

By any chance if you are in california, los angeles area? If you are, we can talk and I`d pay cash. Id have the rates using preev conversion for what these go for and pay with cash thats if you are in california though.

I finding shipping to be a pain in the ass.

Edit: Never mind, you mention Indianapolis
1488  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] $10 Amazon.com Gift Card - Digital code on: May 06, 2015, 11:04:37 PM
You still looking for a giftcard, I can probably do this.

But, I would be going with gyft, just to let you know using my own coin or purse.io.
1489  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: May 06, 2015, 10:59:19 PM
Just keep in mind, thats its more needed for websites that need it esp accepting fiat, gambling sites.

The stall seems more of a correction in the market, then anything else. 2013 prices are the same as today before the whole exchange madness, so i feel like its normal. Real growth is what we need, like extension for bitlincense within this coming month and other news related to actual real investors to drop fiat.
1490  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin value in the next future 50 years- rubbish or global currency? on: May 06, 2015, 10:54:30 PM
rubbish

we can do better than this

You need to elaborate, better then what?

You mean the years it`ll take to have a global currency. Its already global in my eyes, if someone from the phillpines is sending money back to the states with bitcoin. How global can you get other then that? lol.

As for the 50 year mark, its still going to be around not be rubbish at all since main money laundering for gambling sites use bitcoin.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I start Investing USD? (Betterment?) on: May 06, 2015, 10:51:02 PM
I give you 3 options

1 bitcoins
2 Gold
3 Stock market

And if you are looking for quick returns then just forget it.. you cant make quick money from above 3 products.
You have to be patient because all these investments are for long run. And if you are looking for quick money then i suggest you to go for betting on sports.  Smiley

There are more options, you can for example buy good whiskey wine or even art if you like. Silver especially in the form of old coins can be a good investment.

Art is too difficult to nail, you never know what will blow up in price, same goes for stuff like whiskey. The stock market gives you the opportunity to invest in anything you like without having to physically own the stuff you want. So instead you could buy stocks for some whiskey factory or for some art convention, rather than owning the actual stuff which IMO is for rich people only.

Avoid art, avoid stock market unless you are into day trading, same with penny stocks.

Avoid all the nonsense, focus on cash flow. Build something for cheap that creates value, and eventually sell that value (your company/project/website) to a bigger fish.

Then focus on a fix principal with a huge cash out you got, and then consider gold and bitcoin. But, still avoid stock market due to day traders effecting the price point.
1492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2020 years profitable in mining on: May 06, 2015, 06:01:20 AM
So 5 years from now mining will be profitable again?

I say thats if it goes through a serious value increase, thats the only way anything will be worth doing. And at this moment 5 years is apart is a long time, but from past experience of 3 years ago when the ETF was proposed by the winkelvoss twins they still havent updated whats going on with it.

Which is where the value for mining would impact on that event on what I mentioned.
1493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Superwallet + China = Moon? on: May 06, 2015, 05:55:21 AM
All this ban bitcoin in china is more a PR price move, and most of those news were told again a couple years back.

Look what they are doing now again?

My friends in china and he talks about bitcoin all the time there, it aint being banned anytime soon esp when they tried to advertise it on T.V for people to use.
1494  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: May 06, 2015, 05:51:21 AM
Is selling the house to buy bitcoin not a tad bit risky Shocked
I mean where will you live?
I don't own a house, but I still have a roof over my head. possibilities include
a) Renting a house
b) Move to my vacation home
c) RV
d) Move in with a friend
e) Move in with parents

IF the prices of homes are cheap in that state why not?

You can always sell a house and downgrade, but I wouldnt suggest it too everyone. I think most people would select option E) as a simple viable way, then go move back out not owning a house but probably a splitting rent in a apt or something.

I have friends who crash on different friends pads every night.

Worst case scenario, YMCA offers lodge and wifi for $5 a month.
1495  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: May 06, 2015, 05:46:55 AM
you should just do what I do, just buy small amounts at a time on a down trend.

so even if it does spike back up, the difference of price doesnt kill you too hard.

Increments like .1 btc amount when you see a $40-50 difference. But, its only to prepare if bigger downfalls thats when you can stab if it does go to $100ish.

1496  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lost my coin very confused plz help on: May 06, 2015, 05:43:49 AM
Blockchain is a public ledger, so enter your btc address.

Locate the recent date that you remember sending it on and it should show the #`s sent. From there see where it went, and keep doing this until you arrive a final btc address, if someone stole your coins possible chances is that they forwarded the money without mixing it.
1497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Adsense decrease revenue again? on: May 06, 2015, 05:35:34 AM
Adsense actually see if its actually picking up on paid traffic or not, with other not.

All I can say about having more visitors is try expanding your keyword to a longtail keyword that most havent even consider try ranking and you maybe back to where you were at in revenue.

Keep doing this, if it works.
1498  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pbmining.com finally went dark on: May 06, 2015, 05:32:33 AM
I thought its been over since way back when lol.

I`m suprised they even had the site up for this long though, cause whats point after people found out it was a ponzi.

Only an idiot would continue and invest expecting something after reading thread about others getting screwed.
1499  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the best ad network for a faucet? (other than AdSense) on: May 06, 2015, 05:30:40 AM
I really wouldnt try adsense unless you got the words for really cheap.

But, why not just launch it here on this forum? Its huge traffic thats already targeted, so you dont have to guess on stats of conversion or not. The only think would be buying a advertising round on the auction thread.

And cutting a deal, if you become a regular for doing so?
1500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitlicense in May - what will happen? on: May 05, 2015, 08:20:08 PM
Well we have that as a huge step out of the way, cause without it the etf doesnt matter.

But now, since the license is going to happen, its a matter of a waiting game again, for the SEC like someone pointed out to approve being on the market as the ETF is backed up by a company.

Which I assume the twins should be focusing on, but I have no clue of the updates on where people can see this or the status.
